EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN STEM DENGAN MEDIA STRONGER BRIDGE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK
Nowadays technological developments occur very rapidly in various countries, with this technological development it becomes a challenge for educators. STEAM learning is important to apply to the learning process of elementary school students, this is because in the field during the science learning process teachers often play an active role in the learning process rather than students. The research method used in this research is Quasy Experiment and the design used is pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted in two classes, namely one experimental class and one control class. The first thing to do was to give a pretest, learning process, and posttest. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using instructional media in elementary schools and to design the development of STEAM-based stronger bridge media in grade IV elementary schools. The use of STEAM-based learning media is expected to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students. The results of this study indicate that learning using the STEM approach is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes
PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBANTUAN GOOGLE SITES DENGAN MODEL PJBL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI PESERTA DIDIK
Collaboration skills are one of the soft skills that must be possessed by vocational students. When collaborating, contributions of thoughts or ideas will emerge from students and foster responsibility for the results obtained. PjBL is a learning model that is currently being prioritized, Google Sites learning media is a learning media that is still not much developed. Based on this, this study aims to determine the application of Project-based Learning-based interactive learning with the help of Google Sites in improving students' collaboration skills in the Basic Chemistry Analysis subject. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. The research instrument is in the form of observation and performance appraisal. Of the 6 indicators of collaboration skills, there was an average increase from pre-cycle of 51.3% (enough), cycle I of 78.1% (good) and cycle II of 85.8% (very good). There is an increase in performance and product assessments produced by students in cycle I and cycle II. The average percentage in cycle I was 70.9% and in cycle II was 83.7%. So, the learning model of Project Based Learning Assisted with interactive learning media with Google Sites is able to improve students' collaboration skills
PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI METODE EKSPERIMEN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS
Active learning is the participation of students in an ongoing learning process where students actively interact with learning resources, other students and teachers. IPAS is a combination subject between Natural and Social Sciences contained in the independent curriculum. This research aims to describe the steps for implementing the experimental method in science learning to increase students' active learning and to find out whether the implementation of the experimental method can increase students' active learning. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the operational stages of implementing the experimental method to increase the active learning of students at SD Negeri 01 Wanarejan Pemalang include: a. Conduct context analysis; b. Analyzing teaching aids and practicum materials in the laboratory; c. Completing the need for tools and practicum materials needed; d. Implementing experiment-based learning; e. Carry out reflection and follow-up. And the results of the implementation of the experimental method on science concepts can increase the activeness of learning for students at SD Negeri 01 Wanarejan Pemalang
PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI PANCASILA DALAM KEHIDUPAN DI KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR
This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Banjarsari Wetan. The problem that occurs is that when the teacher makes questions with the type of questions to measure critical thinking skills, students still do not understand what to do and many students complain when working on these questions because they are considered difficult. The results of some daily tests are still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) which has been set at 70. Of the 19 students, only 31.5% (6 students) have met the KKM, while 68.5% (13 students) have not met the KKM. It was found that there are several questions that contain critical thinking indicators such as making conclusions and formulating problems, but students have not been able to digest questions with these types. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills by using the Problem Based Learning model. This study used a class action research method. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Banjarsari Wetan, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, totaling 19 students. The instruments used were critical thinking skills test sheets and learning observation sheets using the Problem Based Learning model. The results of this study showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills in each learning stage carried out using the Problem Based Learning model. In cycle I, the classical completeness was 62.3% with 12 students who were complete. Then in cycle II the completeness increased to 84.2% with 16 students who were complete, and there were only 3 students who were not complete
EVALUASI PROGRAM HOME VISIT SEBAGAI PENGUAT PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SMK YPUI PARUNG
This study aims to find out how to evaluate the Home Visit Program as strengthening character education at SMK YPUI Parung. This study uses a qualitative method with the CIPP model. The subjects of this study were taken from Guidance and Counseling coordinators, students, and school principals at SMK YPUI Parung. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The observation method in this study uses participatory methods. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion. The results of the research show that: (1) in terms of context, the components are background, specific objectives, and program development (2) in terms of input it is quite good, consisting of program target components, elements involved, and the role of the teacher (3) in terms of process, that of the five components, and only three are of good value. While the other two are less valuable. Components which include materials, methods, obstacles, and how to evaluate the evaluation system to develop character values are quite good. While the program implementation methods and efforts to develop character values are not good (4) in terms of products, both components are quite good. This component consists of program achievements and program evaluation.
The Role of Civic Education Teachers in Managing Cyberbullying on Students at SMP Negeri 5 Purbalingga
This study aimed to determine the role of Civic Education teachers in managing cyberbullying on students at SMP Negeri 5 Purbalingga. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to collect data. The subjects in this study were Civic Education teachers, Principals, Students, Counselling Guidance teachers, and students of SMP Negeri 5 Purbalingga. The data analysis used by the researcher used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 1) Managing Civic Education learning to handle cyberbullying was done through lecturing method, 2) Obstacles faced in the process of tackling cyberbullying include the difficulties faced by teachers in controlling and supervising their students through social media, this required teachers to be more active in supervising the social media accounts of their students, 3) the efforts to overcome obstacles in overcoming cyberbullying in students were by providing guidance and direction by teachers to students
Rasch measurement and strategies of Science Teacher's Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge in Augmented Reality
The use of Augmented Reality in the Teachers’ Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework is one of the systematic approaches to enriching students' experience in a science classroom. A study was conducted to explore teachers’ TPACK in Augmented Reality abilities. This article aims to identify science teachers’ level of TPACK in Augmented Reality using a questionnaire. A group of teachers (n=100) was trained to determine science teachers' TPACK at AR levels. Selected Science teachers then responded to a survey and analyzed using the Rasch Model. Male teachers (1.77 logits) outperformed female teachers (-0.55 logit) in TPACK abilities. In addition, teachers 36-40 years of age with 6-10 years of teaching experience had higher ability in TPACK in AR. Findings also indicated the Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) scoring is at +1.23logit and TPACK +0.29 logit suggesting both PK and TPACK components were of higher difficulty level compared to other components.The findings suggest that the training on TPACK in AR especially in the areas of PK and TPACK is necessary and should be based on the teacher’s demographic profile, teaching experiences, and other components of the TPACK framework
Enhancing Classroom Learning through Hybrid Teaching and Learning: Insights from a Four-Session Training Program
Hybrid learning, with a focus on facilitating students’ problem-solving skills, is a new and innovative approach which teachers can employ to inculcate higher-level thinking among their students. Accordingly, the purpose of this hybrid training program is to equip teachers with the skills to create hybrid learning instruments that facilitate problem-solving in their classrooms. The training methods include presentations, Q&A sessions, discussions and performances in the form of direct exercises guided by a facilitator (or resource person). Offline teachers from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Muhammadiyah Kramat and online teachers from a primary school, or Sekolah Dasar (SD) MI Muhammadiyah Se-Banyumas attended the training. In general, training activities are structured into 4 stages, namely (1) training on creating instruments and implementing hybrid learning to support problem-solving; (2) assisting in the creation of hybrid learning instruments; 3) monitoring, testing, and implementing hybrid learning in the classroom; and 4) reflecting on the outcomes of implementing hybrid learning. Insights gained from the training program that aims to create hybrid learning instruments, are presented and discussed
Reading and Writing Ability of Dyslexic Students Through Simultaneous Multisensory Teaching (SMT) Method
ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to analyze the use of the Simultaneous Multisensory Teaching method (SMT) on improving reading and writing skills of dyslexic students . Students with dyslexia in addition to having difficulty in writing, also generally have difficulty in reading and mentioning a letter, word, and sentence, and often reverse in writing and mentioning letters. One of the methods recommended by International Dyslexia Association (IDA) in improving reading and writing skills of dyslexic students is the Simultaneous Multisensory Teaching (SMT) method. SMT is a special method for students with dyslexia. The learning process goes through special stages to develop students' abilities by optimizing several senses in an integrated manner. The subjects in this study were single participants, namely students with dyslexia with the initials AMJ , who were Grade IV students at SDN 1 Pasirlangkap, Cikidang District, Sukabumi Regency . This research uses an approach qualitative with descriptive method . Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that gradually the students' reading and writing abilities began to improve by using the SMT method . The ability to recognize letters that are often confused has begun to be mastered, both in pronunciation while reading and writing. Similarly, reading and writing words and sentences, there has been a change compared to the initial observations, which tend to have a lot of writing errors. Based on this, it can be concluded that the use of the SMT method can improve the reading and writing skills of dyslexic students
Analisis Penggunaan Ruang Henti Khusus (RHK) Sepeda Motor pada Simpang Bersinyal ( Studi Kasus : Simpang Bersinyal Tlogosari Kota Semarang)
Ruang henti khusus sepeda motor merupakan suatu teknologi manajemen lalu lintas yang kini sudah diterapkan di Kota Indonesia. Ruang henti khusus sepeda motor diadopsi dari model Advanced Stop Lines (ASLs) yang merupakan suatu fasilitas untuk pengguna sepeda motor di persimpangan bersinyal. Ruang henti khusus sepeda motor sebuah solusi alternatif dalam menekan aktivisme sepeda motor yang tidak beraturan pada mulut persimpangan bersinyal selama fase merah, Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis desain Ruang henti khusus untuk sepeda motor pada simpang bersinyal Tlogosari jalan Supriyadi Kota Semarang dan mengetahui Panjang antrian. Kendaraan henti, dan Derajat kejenuhannya. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis desain RHK adalah (KEMENPUPR NO 52/SE/M 2015), untuk menganalisis Panjang antrian, Kendaraan berhenti, dan Derajat kejenuhan menggunakan MKJI 1997. Hasil Penelitian, desain Ruang henti khusus Sepeda motor pilihan desain tipe kotak dengan dimensi 12 x 7 m2 dengan rata-rata memadatkan sepeda motor pada simpang pendekat 50%. Untuk analisis perilaku lalu lintas, Panjang antrian dengan hasil paling tinggi pada hari sabtu yaitu 2,1 smp, Kendaraan berhenti dengan hasil paling tinggi pada hari sabtu yaitu 150 smp/jam, dan Derajat kejenuhan dengan hasil paling tinggi pada hari sabtu yaitu 0,437 smp/ sela
