    Increasing Student Activeness Using the TaRL Approach Through Differentiated Learning on Statistics Material

    The aim of this research is to examine student activity. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects and location of this research were class VB students at SDN 42 Jambi City, totaling 24 students. The research model used is research which includes four stages of action, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The research results showed that students experienced significant improvement during the two cycles using each completeness percentage. In the pre-cycle, students' completeness was 40%. In cycle I the completeness obtained was 53% and in cycle II it reached 77% completeness or an increase of 37%. With a pre-cycle average of 40% to 53% in cycle I and increasing in cycle II to 77%. So, it can be concluded that the TaRL approach can increase student activity in teaching and learning activities in the VB class at SDN 42 Jambi City. So, it can be recommended to use the TaRL learning approach to increase student activity

    The Influence of Learning Interest on Understanding of Mathematical Concepts in Class XI PH 1 Students at SMKN 6

    This study aims to determine the effect of learning interest on understanding of mathematical concepts in class XI PH 1 students at SMKN 6 Padang. Research subjects were selected using purposive sampling with a total of 26 students. The approach used in this research is quantitative and analyzed by simple linear regression using the R program. The technique of collecting data by providing non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires on students' learning interests and test instruments about number patterns to measure understanding of mathematical concepts. Hypothesis testing is done by simple regression, by first looking at the pattern of relationships between variables and determining the correlation coefficient. The result showed that there is no significant effect of learning interest on understanding mathematical concepts with regression equation Y=35.3555+0.3379X. So, it can be concluded that learning interest has no significant effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts

    Spiritual relaxation therapy to improve sleep quality for nurses working shifts who experience sleep problems: a quasi-experimental study

    Background: Impaired sleep quality is a common problem experienced by nurses working shifts, and if not treated properly, it can impact their work performance and overall health. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy has been proven to improve sleep quality. However, its effectiveness has never been studied in nurses who experience sleep disorders due to working shifts.Objective: To investigate the influence of spiritual relaxation therapy on sleep quality among nurses experiencing sleep disturbances due to shift work.Method: This is a Quasi-Experimental study with a pre-test-posttest control group design. A total of 38 nurses who experience sleep disorders due to working shifts were included in this study. The PSQI questionnaire was utilized as the instrument to measure sleep quality. Data analysis involved the Mann-Whitney test.Results: The average sleep quality before the intervention was in the mild category; after the intervention, most were in the good category. The results showed that the sleep quality of nurses who received spiritual relaxation was better than the control group (p<0.001).Conclusion: Spiritual relaxation therapy effectively improves the sleep quality of nurses experiencing sleep disturbances due to shift work

    Pendidikan agama dirasa perlu ditingkatkan dalam penciptaan manusia yang selalu beriman kepada Allah, sebagai upaya untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai iman dalam diri mereka sehingga fitrah iman tumbuh sesuai dengan standar ajaran Islam. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan keimanan dan ciri-ciri orang yang beriman kepada Allah dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an berdasarkan surah Al-An’am ayat 12 dan surah Al-Anfal ayat 2-4. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan (library research) disertai pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam Islam, iman tidak hanya ditunjukkan dengan kata-kata, tetapi juga dalam tindakan. Iman diyakini dengan hati, diucapkan, dan dilakukan dengan tindakan. Ciri orang yang beriman adalah yang gemetar hatinya ketika menyebut nama Allah, yang bertambah keimanannya apabila dibacakan Al-Qur'an, yang memasrahkan dirinya atas Allah, yang menunaikan shalat, dan yang menyumbangkan sebagian rezeki yang telah Allah berikan kepadanya. Sebagai hamba Allah, diharapkan melalui pemahaman keimanan kepada Allah dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an akan mampu meningkatkan kualitas keimanan manusia

    The PLC System in Vertical Plastic Injection Molding Machine is an automated electrical system designed with sensor inputs controlled by a PLC Mitsubishi FX0s-20MR. It is supplemented with additional devices such as Proximity switches and Thermocouple PID-CX100. The research aims to analyze the heater temperature to control the movement of the injection piston for controlled movement, enhancing the efficiency of the molding injection process, and preventing operational errors that could affect the machine's condition, performance, and the molding results. From the experiments conducted, it was found that the settings producing specimens with near-perfect or perfect results were in experiments number 5 and 6. The injection time in these experiments was successfully adjusted using a timer setting in the PLC program, with an automatic injection time of 15 seconds. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the optimal settings for the molding process using PP material in this equipment are a temperature of 200-210°C, pressure of 4-5 bars, and injection time of 15 seconds

    Karakteristik Palm Oil Biodiesel dan Performa Mesin Diesel : A Review

    This article is a descriptive review study on palm oil biodiesel and its comparison with diesel fuel. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is the best raw material for biodiesel because it has similar fuel specifications to diesel fuel. Fuel specifications according to American Standard Testing and Material (ASTM) and European Standard (EN) specifications are kinematic viscosity, density, and flash point. Palm oil biodiesel has a higher Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) value and a lower Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE) value compared to diesel. Palm oil biodiesel has higher NOx emissions, but lower HC and CO emissions, than diesel. In addition, palm oil biodiesel can be used in diesel engines with little or no modification. It has higher density, cooler flow problems and lower calorific value. Biodiesel can be blended with diesel and used in various concentration ratios to produce biodiesel blends that have properties that comply with international standards on diesel engine fuel and emissions, resulting in improved diesel engine performance and reduced emissions. The B20 and B30 biodiesel blend compositions are the best blend compositions based on the balance between engine efficiency and emission reduction due to the optimal balance between engine performance and environmental benefits. The B20 and B30 biodiesel blends show significant reductions in CO and HC emissions, achieving reductions of about 10% to 25% compared to diesel. The decrease in BTE and increase in BSFC are still proportional, so they do not compromise overall fuel efficiency too much

    Today, environmental problems, especially soil pollution due to inorganic waste or waste that does not decompose, are a major problem and need to be solved, especially in developing countries with high populations such as Indonesia. One of the causes of soil pollution problems is the use of inorganic fibers such as glass fiber and carbon fiber. The use of materials that are not environmentally friendly in the industry will cause environmental problems due to nature's inability to decompose the glass fiber material in nature. The focus of this research is to reduce environmental pollution by using natural fibers such as abaca fiber as an alternative to inorganic fibers. This is due to its properties, namely: low density, good specific strength, low price, and a high biodegradable ability so that it can reduce glass fiber or carbon fiber waste that does not decompose. To support this, abaca fiber needs to be hydrophobic so that it becomes compatible with other materials when combined together with other materials. One of the ways that can be done is by alkaline chemical treatment and acetylation using KOH and CH3COOH. Chemical treatment was carried out by dipping abaca banana fibers into a solution of alkaline compounds and acetylated compounds KOH and CH3COOH with a concentration of 5 M and 10 M for 4 hours. After chemical treatment, the abaca banana fibers were characterized for mechanical properties using ASTM D 3379 standards to determine the tensile strength of the fibers and using an optical microscope to determine the microstructure of the abaca fibers

    Al-Quran merupakan firman Allah SWT yang keasliannya selalu terjaga. Salah satu kewajiban utama umat Islam terhadap al-Quran adalah membacanya dan menghafalnya dengan baik. Menghafal Al-Qur'an dapat membentuk karakter religius seseorang. Oleh karena itu, religiusitas merupakan modal utama untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah yang timbul di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model pembinaan taḥfīẓul Qur’an, menganalisis pembentukan karakter religius melaluitTaḥfīẓul Qur'ān dan menemukan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembentukan karakter religius kader melalui program taḥfīẓul Qur’an di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Ajibarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu pengasuh, 3 musyrif dan 4 kader Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Ajibarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: pertama, model pembinaan taḥfīẓul Qur’an di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Ajibarang menggunakan model pembinaan pembiasaan, Pemberian reward dan pendekatan individual. Kedua faktor pendorong, jajaran pengurus mensuport besar dan memberikan tanggung jawab sepenuhnya kepada pengasuh dan jajaran asātidz. Sedangkan faktor penghambat, kekurangan tenaga musyrif, permasalahan waktu antara musyrif dan kader dan faktor kelelahan kader setelah mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah.

    Analisis Pengaruh Perubahan Beban Terhadap Partial Discharge dan Arus Bocor Pada Kabel Power Incoming 20kV Transformator Daya Gardu Induk Kalibakal

    Kabel power trafo incoming 20kV merupakan kabel tegangan menengah yang menyalurkan daya listrik pada sisi sekunder transformator daya ke kubikel incoming 20kV. Partial discharge dan arus bocor menjadi fenomena yang dapat terjadi pada kabel power trafo incoming 20kV. Partial discharge merupakan peristiwa pelepasan atau loncatan bunga api listrik yang terjadi pada suatu bagian isolasi sebagai akibat adanya beda potensial yang tinggi dalam isolasi tersebut. Arus bocor merupakan arus yang mengalir menembus atau melalui permukaan isolasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeteksi partial discharge dan arus bocor pada kabel incoming 20kV, penelitian ini juga ditunjukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan beban terhadap partial discharge dan arus bocor. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisis yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa perubahan beban memiliki pengaruh terhadap partial discharge dan arus bocor. Dari hasil uji regresi linear sederhana pengaruh perubahan beban terhadap partial discharge diperoleh hasil bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (beban) terhadap variabel terikat (partial discharge) adalah sebesar 58,8%, Sedangkan pengaruh perubahan beban terhadap arus bocor diperoleh diperoleh bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (beban) terhadap variabel terikat (arus bocor) adalah sebesar 87,0%. Meskipun perubahan beban memiliki pengaruh pada nilai partial discharge dan arus bocor, akan tetapi pengaruh tersebut tidak menyebabkan nilai partial discharge dan arus bocor yang melebihi batas aman dari standar yang ditentukan. Pengukuran secara berkala sebaiknya dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya gangguan yang diakibatkan oleh partial discharge dan arus bocor
