A Study on the Solution of Lack of Living Water in Affected Areas by Using Rainwater – Report from the Disaster Area Survey of the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake –
In this study, we discussed rainwater utilization at the time of a disaster from the result of the survey of disaster areas about 2.5 months after the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake. At the time of a disaster, the water supply is cut off and living water such as toilet washing water is short. As a result, the sanitary condition of the evacuation shelter will be poor. The rainwater utilization in an evacuation facility is one way to solve such problems. By installing a rainwater storage tank about 10 m3 in a school gymnasium, evacuees can flush toilet once or twice a day. Therefore, rainwater
utilization system should be installed in the evacuation facility
Consideration of Business Deployment by Yakult Honsha Co.,Ltd.
In this paper, business deployment by food company, Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd. is discussed on. This company has moved aggressively into overseas operations. Especially, sales in Asian nations has increased for several years. The authors focused on the sales strategy. A representative example is to take different sales strategies, over-the-counter sales and at-home sales based on their regulation and cultures. Through their business deployment, this company has achieved not only sales success but also increase of women’s job opportunities and health enhancement for poverty group. Based on their actions and achievement in developing countries such as Asian nations, the authors discussed about their worldwide deployment
Learning Strategies for Learners of English(Learning Strategies for Learners Who Need Remedial Education)
The day is approaching when the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo. To welcome people from abroad, the Japanese government has been working on various improvements to make a better environment for them. To improve Japanese people’s English ability or skills is one of the government’s main targets to achieve. However, as some data on Japanese people’s English ability show, it cannot be said that Japanese people have had enough ability or skills to use English well. Therefore, in this paper, I will look for a better way to improve learners’ English ability or skills, highlighting learning strategy of English. In addition, I aim to find what strategies teachers should use to teach learners who are not good at and do not like learning English, or learners who need remedial education
The Change of the Samurai’s Premises with the Matsuoka Feudal Chan in Kyoho 6 Years A Study on the Samurai’s Premises of the Fukui Castle Town, Part 34
This paper considers the change in the Samurai’s Premises of the Fukui Castle Town with the Matsuoka Feudal Clan merger of Kyoho 6 years. The Matsuoka Clansman in Enpo 4 years was 189 peoples. The old Matsuoka Clansman who was able to pinpoint an emigration place was 111 peoples. The Matsuoka Clansman who emigrated to Joto district and Keya-cho was 107 peoples. The period required for emigrated was 16 years in Genbun 4 years from Kyoho 8 years.
The premises of the Clansman whom I emigrated to are not equal with the premises that became the vacant land by the salary reduction of Jokyo 3 years
Study on the Profit Utilization of the Vacant House in Awara City, Fukui
Currently, as awareness of population decrease in Japan is increasing, recognition of vacant house issues gradually increased, and we began to seek a path for measures. Since the increase of vacant houses will cause disaster problems, crime prevention problems and community problems the country and local governments have taken full-fledged measures against vacant houses. Generally, vacant houses are regarded as negative property. This research aims to convert this established interpretation "negative" to "positive". Therefore, in this paper, by discussing part of the results of collaborative research with Awaji city, we show six different ways of utilization, different from conventional vacant house countermeasures
The scaling of stress distribution under small scale yielding by T-scaling method and application to prediction of the temperature dependence on fracture toughness
In this paper, a new method for scaling the crack tip stress distribution under small scale yielding condition was proposed and named as T-scaling method. This method enables to identify the different stress distributions for materials with different tensile properties but identical load in terms of K or J. Then by assuming that the temperature dependence of a material is represented as the stress-strain relationship temperature dependence, a method to predict the fracture load at an arbitrary temperature from the already known fracture load at a reference temperature was proposed. This method combined the T-scaling method and the knowledge “fracture stress for slip induced cleavage fracture is temperature independent.” Once the fracture load is predicted, fracture toughness Jc at the temperature under consideration can be evaluated by running elastic-plastic finite element analysis. Finally, the above-mentioned framework to predict the Jc temperature dependency of a material in the ductile-to-brittle temperature distribution was validated for 0.55% carbon steel JIS S55C. The proposed framework seems to have a possibility to solve the problem the master curve is facing in the relatively higher temperature region, by requiring only tensile tests
