How Should we Explain the Phases of the Moon at Elementary School? : Understanding the Positional Relationships of Celestial Objects with Viewpoint Movement
月の満ち欠けに関する学習は,現在,小学校第6 学年と中学校第3 学年の理科で扱われている.
小学校では,月の形の見え方は太陽と月の位置関係によって変わることを学習するが,その指導方
法は地球から見た太陽と月の位置関係で扱うことと限定されている.一方,中学校では,月が地球
の周りを公転していることと関連付けて月の満ち欠けをとらえさせ,太陽,月,地球を俯瞰する視
点から月の満ち欠けについて考えさせている.しかし小学校においても,太陽,月,地球の位置関
係の変化を理解しようとすると,必然的にこれらの天体を俯瞰して位置関係を扱わざるを得ないの
ではないだろうか.そこで本研究では,小学校第6 学年を対象として,太陽,月,地球を俯瞰する
視点でもそれらの位置関係を授業で扱い,その指導方法の有効性を検証した.その結果は,小学生
においても視点移動を伴う月の満ち欠けの指導が有効であることを示唆している
Tertiary-level English Education in Japan:A Study on Motivational Factors
The complex processes involved in learning a second language include a multitude of cognitive and affective factors. One of these affective factors, motivation, has been suggested to be the most important element in learning, which influences the degree to which a second language will be acquired. This has made its study one of the most exciting and promising areas of research in second language acquisition over the past few decades. This study examined the motivations of a group of university students in Japan in regards to English education. Two groups (high and low proficiency) of first-year students (N= 85) were tested on four types of intrinsic motivation (interest in the English language, cultural interest, attitude towards learning English, and ethnocentrism). Correlational relationships were measured, with only ethnocentrism found to have a (small) statistically significant correlation with proficiency

It was also adopted by COC+ in Fukui prefecture. All 4th-year university in Fukui prefecture have been tackling COC+ program. 回復期リハビリテーション病棟における高次脳機能障害者の精神症状出現のリスク検討
高次脳機能障害に対する入院リハビリテーション(以下リハ)において、様々な精神症状がみられ、リハに難渋することもすくなくない。そこで、回復期リハ病棟におけるリハ期間中に精神症状が出現した高次脳機能障害者を後ろ向きに検討し、精神症状出現のリスク因子について分析した.高次脳機能障害と診断した90例のカルテより,リハ期間中に精神症状が出現した症例の入院時の神経心理学的検査結果を調査した.失語症の有無,半側空間無視の有無,注意障害の重症度,記憶障害の重症度,遂行機能障害の重症度を独立変数とし,精神症状出現の有無を従属変数として多変量解析をおこなった.高次脳機能障害者における精神症状の出現率は40%であり,多変量解析の結果より遂行機能障害重症度が精神症状出現の独立した関連因子であった。さらに,BADS得点が低いほど精神症状出現時に,より精神的な専門治療を要する傾向がみられ,精神症状出現有無におけるBADS点数のカットオフ値は69点であった.以上おり,とくにBADS得点以下を認める症例においては,精神症状出現リスクを念頭にリハ介入を行う必要があると考えられた
要介護高齢者の舌・舌骨上筋群と5項目身体計測値からみた嚥下機能評価
高齢者の摂食嚥下機能の低下に関係するとされるサルコペニアの前駆状態といわれているオーラル・フレイルを反映する舌,舌骨上筋群の筋力と身体計測値が関連しているのではないかとの仮説を立て,舌圧測定器,開口力測定器を使用し,5項目の身体計測値と比較検討した.対象は,要支援・要介護高齢者27名とし,舌圧,開口力,上腕周囲長(AC),上腕三頭筋皮下脂肪厚(TSF),下腿周囲長(CC)の計測を行い,上腕筋面囲(AMC),上腕筋面積(AMA)はACとTSFから算出した.結果,舌圧と上腕三頭筋皮下脂肪圧(TSF),開口力と下腿周囲長(CC)に有意な相関関係を認めた.TSFは脂肪量の低下を示しており,低栄養状態を示すとともに全身の筋肉量の低下を反映していると考えられ,舌圧の関係があったと考えられる.下肢筋および開口力に関与する舌骨上筋群は共に抗重力筋であり,高齢者では低下しやすいので,CCにおいては開口力との関係がみられたと考えられた.以上のことから,TSFとCCの計測値は高齢者の摂食嚥下機能を反映する可能性が示された
The improvement of Neighboring Traffic Environments with The Large-Scale Commercial Facilities Repair
The policy of Toyama-shi, Toyama Prefecture is “compact town development which assumed public transport an axis”with the consideration to future environment. However, around 90% of the customer of large-scale commercial facilities “Favore” use a car, and it will be necessary to plan the improvement of the traffic environment which does not depend on the car excessively.We investigated the present traffic environment around “Favore” and suggested improvement plan of the traffic environment based on it. Selective Mono-Bromination of 2,2’-Bithiophene Using a Flow Microreactor
Flow microreactors can provide a revolutionary change on organic synthesis, because of the following characteristic features derived from their small size and flow nature: 1) fast mixing, 2) temperature control, 3) highly strict control of reaction condition. By taking advantage of these feature, chemical reactions which are very difficult or impossible in flasks can be achieved in flow microreactors. We have applied this protocol to selective monobromination of 2,2’-bithiophene with N-bromosuccinimide. After various trials of controlling reaction conditions, the yield of the undesired di-brominated product (5,5’-dibromo-2,2’-bithiophene) could be reduced to 1−2%. The most important factor in the microflow system was the combination of the flow rate and the equivalent of N-bromosuccinimide.
