Gender dan Industri Kecil Agro di Pedesaan Tasikmalaya
While the number of female-gendered small industry entrepreneurs is growing, research in this area has not kept pace. This article critically reviews the current situation of women entrepreneurs in rural areas. We analyze the social, cultural, organizational and individual barriers that women entrepreneurs may face. This study interviewed 23 women entrepreneurs who own small agro-industries in Tasikmalaya district, a pilot project area for small agro-industry development in West Java. Our findings show that self efficacy is a common individual problem among rural women entrepreneurs, in addition to their suboptimal organizational capacity. Meanwhile, social and cultural barriers are currently minimal in rural areas. To improve self-efficacy, a personal approach is needed in the form of training, mentoring, and social support. Meanwhile, to improve organizational capacity, it is necessary to strengthen structural aspects such as management, technology, networking, and financing. We argue for the need to adopt more critical approaches, such as feminist discourse analysis and critical socio-technological perspectives to inform future research, and explain various phenomena related to women's entrepreneurship that have not been adequately studied
Analisis Keputusan Petani Menggunakan Pupuk Organik, Anorganik, dan Campuran Pada Usahatani Padi Sawah
The scarcity of chemical fertilizers has led to an increase in fertilizer prices, so farmers are reluctant to use chemical fertilizers that are too expensive and switch to using organic fertilizers. The application of organic fertilizers is not as a substitute for inorganic fertilizers but as a complement, so that in conventional cultivation organic fertilizers should be used in an integrated manner with inorganic fertilizers to increase soil and plant productivity in a sustainable manner. The purpose of this study was to analyze the decision of the use of organic fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, and mixtures in rice farming in Sei Bamban Kiri village, Sei Bamban district, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Determination of the research area is done purposively. The sample size is determined by the Slovin method, which is as many as 90 respondents. The method of analysis to analyze the decision of farmers in purchasing the type of fertilizer used is multinomial logistic regression. The results showed that the age and number of family members have a big role in improving the decision of farmers to use fully organic fertilizer. Education Level, age, land area, and having a side job have a big influence in improving farmers ' decisions to use inorganic fertilizers. The level of Education, number of family members, land area, and care for the ecosystem have a big role in improving farmers ' decisions to use mixed fertilizers

This research aims to analyze the economic, ecological and social benefits of the rice-duck integration system in Pakkampi Farming Enterprises, Panca Rijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through interviews and secondary data analysis from the local Agriculture Service. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. For the economic aspect, descriptive analysis is used to calculate business efficiency using the R/C ratio (Revenue to Cost Ratio). Meanwhile, the ecological aspect uses quantitative soil testing using a soil testing device (PUTS) and the social aspect is analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The research results show that the rice-duck integration system provides significant economic benefits with an R/C ratio of 5.7, indicating that this business is very profitable. From an ecological aspect, this system reduces the use of chemical pesticides through natural pest control by ducks and increases soil fertility with duck droppings as organic fertilizer.
