Cikajang District, Garut Regency, is one of the centres of horticultural crop production in West Java due to its favourable geographical conditions. Capital is a common problem for farmers, especially farmers with a small farming scale. One of the reasons is the difficulty of farmers in accessing capital sources. Financial Technology comes as a solution for farmers to facilitate access to capital sources. This study aims to describe and analyse thedirect andindirecteffects of farmers' perceptions and social influence on farm performance through the adoption of financial technology as an intervening variable. The research was conducted in Cikajang District, Garut Regency with 72 farmers as respondents. The research method used was Structural Model Equation - Partial Least Square (SEM - PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results showed that farmers' perceptions had no direct effect on improving farm performance, but had an indirect effect on farm performance through the adoption of financial technology. Social influence itself has both a direct and indirect effect on farm performance. The test also found that the adoption of financial technology has a significant effect on farm performance

Motivasi Petani dalam Usahatani Padi di Kecamatan Singkawang Utara Kota Singkawang
This study aims to analyze the factors influencing farmers' motivation in rice farming in Singkawang Utara Subdistrict, Singkawang City. The approach used is quantitative, with primary data collected through structured interviews and questionnaires. The analysis applies Alderfer's (1969) ERG (Existence, Relatedness, Growth) theory. The results show that land size has a positive but insignificant relationship with farmers' motivation in the social relationship (Relatedness) dimension, while land ownership status and farm income have no significant impact on other motivational dimensions. These findings indicate that although land ownership provides economic security, it is insufficient to enhance farmers' innovation and self-development. Non-economic support, such as training and access to technology, is necessary to improve farmers' motivation.key in increasing the production and usefulness of aloe vera farming in North Pontianak District
Apakah Wilayah yang Penyerapan Tenaga Kerjanya Ditopang oleh Sektor Pertanian Memiliki Tingkat Ketahanan Pangan yang Lebih Kuat?
The agricultural sector as a buffer for food supply also contributes the largest workforce in Indonesia. However, low income and high poverty in farming households have raised questions regarding the condition of food security in areas where most of majority of the population are farmers. To examine this, the research uses the variable percentage of farmers per total worker from BPS and the Food Security Index (IKP) score from the National Food Agency in 416 districts in Indonesia from 2020 to 2022. Through Generalized Least Square (GLS) estimation, a significant negative correlation was found between the percentage of farmers and the IKP score. Every percentage increase in the number of farmers by 1% will be accompanied by a decrease in the IKP score of 0.107 points under ceteris paribus conditions. In short, the research results show that districts with a greater percentage of farmers and poor people from the agricultural sector, higher wages for agricultural labor and less rice production, will have lower level of food security. On the other hand, districts with high GRDP, large populations, higher rice consumption costs, lower meat consumption costs, and many poor people targeted by the Non-Cash Food Assistance program will have a higher level of food security. In relation to this matter, poverty reduction measures in districts where most of the workforce comes from the agricultural sector need to be accelerated to increase food security
