PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SISWA
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji permainan ular tangga sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan yang membahas penggunaan media permainan ular tangga sebagai media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa permainan ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran matematika dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, menyenangkan, meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa, serta mampu merangsang kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam memahami konsep-konsep dan menyelesaikan masalah matematika

Full text linkPenelitian ini membahas peran visum et repertum psikiatrikum yang disusun oleh dokter spesialis kedokteran jiwa dalam menentukan pertanggungjawaban pidana pelaku tindak pidana. Visum ini berfungsi untuk menilai kondisi kejiwaan pelaku saat melakukan tindak pidana, guna menentukan apakah pelaku dapat dimintai tanggung jawab pidana atau memerlukan rehabilitasi kejiwaan. Penelitian menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan menganalisis peraturan hukum pidana, doktrin hukum, serta putusan pengadilan yang menggunakan visum psikiatrikum sebagai alat bukti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa visum psikiatrikum memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam proses peradilan, khususnya sebagai dasar pertimbangan hakim dalam memutuskan kelayakan pelaku untuk bertanggung jawab secara hukum. Meski demikian, tantangan tetap ada, seperti subjektivitas laporan, keterbatasan pemahaman hakim terhadap aspek medis, serta minimnya jumlah dokter spesialis jiwa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan, standarisasi laporan, dan kolaborasi lebih baik antara ahli medis dan aparat penegak hukum untuk memastikan keadilan yang obyektif dan menghormati hak asasi manusia
Pragmatic and Grammatical Competence Interface in Second Language Acquisition: Conceptual Framework and Construction
Full text linkThis study investigated the interface between pragmatic and grammatical competence in second language acquisition. This study aims to discover the conceptual framework of how pragmatics competence interfaces with grammatical competence. This study employs three research questions such as (1) how pragmatics competence and grammatical competence are interfaced with each other, (2) what kind of pragmatics competence should be learned by the learner of a second language, and (3) to what extent grammatical construction interface with the pragmatic domain. This study used the groundwork of the library research method, which forms the theoretical framework of this study by searching, reading, and evaluating some journals from the online journal that deals with the topic. The result revealed that pragmatic competence and grammatical competence are interfaced with each other since grammatical construction in the utterance contributes to the language use expression
Compound Words in Lover Album by Taylor Swift: A Morphological Study
Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the morphological processes of compound words found in the lyrics of Lover, an album by Taylor Swift. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on identifying the types, functions, and meanings of compound words present in the album's lyrics. The results reveal six types of compound words, categorized as adverbial compounds, verbal compounds, and nominal compounds, with nominal compounds being the most prevalent. Words such as sweetheart and daylight represent themes of affection and hope, while terms like heartbreak and homecoming convey emotional nuances associated with love, loss, and relationships. This research highlights the role of morphology in songwriting and demonstrates how compound words enhance the emotional and thematic depth of the lyrics. The findings offer new insights into the intersection of language and art, emphasizing the creative use of morphological processes in popular music
Critical Discourse Analysis in News Media Between the Guardian and Al Arabiya News Website in Israel-Palestine Conflict
Full text linkNowadays, conflict between two nations become a hot topic worldwide. Israel-Palestine conflict is one of that. On 7th October 2023, Hamas attacked Israel and become a headline in every news media. Currently, media has important role to give information to people around the world. This research using Critical Discourse Analysis. The data was taken from The Guardian and Al Arabiya news website in October 2023 edition. This research uses descriptive qualitative research design. The data were analyses using Van Dijk’s approach focusing on macrostructure, microstructure, and the ideology between two news media. The findings show that both news media talk about Hamas attacked Israel. Israel was portrayed positively as victim and Hamas was portrayed negatively as a threat. It shows that The Guardian and Al Arabiya are more pro-Israel than Palestine. The researcher suggests to do more deeply between The Guardian and Al Arabiya
Hubungan Kekuatan Otot Lengan dan Berat Badan Terhadap Ketepatan Smash dalam Bola Voli di PBV. Pelopor Muda
Full text linkThis study explores the significant relationship between arm muscle strength and body weight on smash accuracy in young volleyball athletes at PBV. Pelopor Muda, aged 15-16 years. Using correlational research design and descriptive statistical analysis as well as Pearson correlation, this study involved twelve athletes as a sample. The results showed that arm muscle strength contributed 52.2% to smash accuracy, while body weight showed a negative correlation of -0.700, which accounted for 49% of the variation in smash accuracy. These findings emphasize the importance of muscle strength in producing effective and accurate attacks, which can affect the outcome of a match. In addition, maintaining an ideal body weight is important to help athletes achieve better balance and stability during the game. This study emphasizes that muscle strength and weight management should be a focus in training programs to optimize athlete performance. Further discussion in this document links previous literature linking physical attributes to performance in volleyball, thus reinforcing the importance of structured training and athletic development in young populations. Further research is recommended to explore the interaction of other factors that influence performance, including overall physical fitness and nutritional strategies, in order to achieve a holistic training approach. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that muscle strength and body weight are important factors that directly affect the accuracy of volleyball smashes, and training interventions tailored to these attributes can improve the technical execution of volleyball skill
PENERAPAN STRUKTUR ALJABAR GALOIS FIELD PADA ERROR-CORRECTING CODES
Full text linkPerkembangan teknologi komunikasi menuntut sistem transmisi data yang andal dan minim kesalahan. Salah satu pendekatan matematis yang mendasari pengembangan sistem tersebut adalah teori kode koreksi kesalahan (error-correcting codes) yang memanfaatkan struktur aljabar Galois Field. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan Galois Field, khususnya dan , dalam membangun kode linier dan kode siklik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis konsep-konsep dasar aljabar seperti grup, ring, field, dan ruang vektor, serta penerapannya dalam pengkodean data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa matriks generator dan matriks cek paritas dapat dibangun melalui basis dalam , dan hubungan antara keduanya merepresentasikan struktur ruang kode dan kernel. Dalam , representasi elemen sebagai polinomial dan vektor membuka peluang pengembangan kode siklik seperti Reed-Solomon yang memiliki kemampuan deteksi dan koreksi kesalahan lebih tinggi. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada penyajian terstruktur mengenai hubungan antara struktur aljabar Galois Field dan teori kode koreksi kesalahan, yang bertujuan memberikan pemahaman yang utuh terhadap dasar matematis sistem komunikasi digital. Analisis Simbol-Komunikasi Budaya dalam Arsitektur Masjid Lautze 2 Melalui Teori Semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce
Full text linkThe research aims to examine and describe how the symbols contained in the architecture of the Lautze 2 Mosque function as a medium of cultural communication. Using Peirce's semiotics approach, this study analyzes the visual and structural elements of mosques that reflect the cultural and religious values of the community. The mosque is unique in that it combines two different cultural traditions in one sacred building. This phenomenon raises questions about how communication and cultural symbols are integrated into the architecture of mosques and what their implications are for the identity of the community. The research uses a qualitative method with semiotic analysis, where data is collected through direct observation and literature study. The results of the analysis show that the existing symbols, such as building shapes, ornaments, and colors, not only serve as aesthetic elements but also convey deep moral and spiritual messages. The research identified three categories of signs according to Peirce: icons, indexes, and symbols, each of which has an important role in establishing the architectural meaning of mosques. The elements analyzed include the front façade, pulpit, calligraphy, and mosque partition ornaments. The results of the study show that 1) Mosque architecture integrates Islamic and Chinese cultural symbols, creating a visual narrative of intercultural harmony and inclusivity, 2) The combination of Islamic and Chinese elements presents a unique cultural synthesis, and 3) The existence of the Lautze 2 Mosque affirms the identity of Chinese Muslims while conveying the message of intercultural harmony in Indonesia
Virtual Tour Museum Kars Indonesia Sebagai Media Alternatif Pembelajaran Sejarah
Full text linkTechnology development has a significant impact on innovation in the development of museum education services, including virtual museum tours. One of the functions of the museum is as a source of virtual learning supported by visual, and audiovisual teaching materials, and interactive communication. Presenting the museum experience in the classroom online can be an alternative solution that is interesting, effective, and fun in developing learning media. The Indonesian Karst Museum is one of the treasures owned by prehistoric museums in Indonesia, especially in Central Java Province, beside the Sangiran Museum. This museum is an educational museum that presents the distribution of karst both in Indonesia and around the world. This museum displays how karst was formed, as well as the characteristics and phenomena of karst, reviewing its relationship to the evolution of human life from prehistoric times to the present. The Indonesian Karst Museum was established to preserve the existence of the Eco Karst area and the Gunung Sewu Global Geopark. Optimizing the virtual tour of the Indonesian Karst Museum as an alternative medium for learning history is expected to be an effective solution in developing a history learning medium that is easily accessible to students. Full text linkDalam sastra, politik adalah cara untuk mengatakan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi pada masa lalu. Fakta dapat dipublikasikan dalam bentuk tulisan, seperti novel. Novel Eka Kurniawan "Cantik Itu Luka" menggabungkan elemen romansa, sosial, dan politik. Buku Cantik Itu Luka menggambarkan sejarah perpolitikan Indonesia dengan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hal ini. Politik adalah upaya untuk menetapkan peraturan yang dapat diterima oleh sebagian besar warga untuk membawa masyarakat ke arah kehidupan bersama yang harmonis, menurut Miriam Budiarjo (2008: 15). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan kata-kata, kalimat, dan paragraf dalam buku Cantik Itu Luka yang mengandung elemen sejarah politik. Selain itu, studi ini berfokus pada sejarah politik di masa kolonial hingga pascakemerdekaan serta masa pemberontakan PKI. Kata Kunci: Sejarah politik, Kolonial, PKI
