EFEKTIVITAS TERAPI RELAKSASI OTOT PROGRESIF DALAM MENURUNKAN HIPERTENSI PADA LANSIA
The prevalence of cases of hypertension is very high in the elderly, namely 60% -80% at the age above 65 years. The number of elderly people suffering from hypertension at Budi Luhur Jambi PSTW in November 2018 was 22 elderly and had received regular hypertension medication every day but the elderly blood pressure was still high. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is any effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. This study used the Quasi Experiment method with the design of Non Equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest, with random sampling technique, the number of samples was 20 elderly consisting of 10 elderly experimental groups given hypertension drugs as well as progressive muscle relaxation therapy and 10 elderly control groups who only given hypertension medication. This research was conducted at Budi Luhur PSTW Jambi on 28 January-2 February 2019. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy is given once a day every morning for six consecutive days. Based on the analysis using the Dependent T test in the experimental group, it was found that systolic blood pressure was p value 0.0001 and diastolic blood pressure was p value 0.002 <(0.05). the results of the analysis using the Independent T test found differences in the blood pressure of the experimental group and control where systolic blood pressure p value 0.031 <(0.05), while the diastolic blood pressure p value 0.009 <(0.05), it can be concluded that there significant to the blood pressure of elderly people with hypertension before and after being given progressive muscle relaxation therapy. This study is expected to be a new program at PSTW Budi Luhur Jambi to reduce high blood pressure in elderly people who suffer from hypertension
PENGARUH LATIHAN AEROBIK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PERSENTASE KADAR VO2 MAX PADA PEROKOK AKTIF MAHASISWA STIKES BAITURRAHIM JAMBI
Introduction :Aerobic exercise is a form of exercise or exercise that in its use of energy uses the oxidative process in generating ATP as the basic energy for all cells. Aerobic exercise has an effect on the heart resistance of the lungs and so forth. Light to moderate activity is aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise should be done with a frequency of 3-5 times per week with a duration of exercise 20-30 minutes each time the exercise. Methods : In the case of active smokers, physiotherapy is instrumental, among others, to maintain physical fitness, increase endurance and especially in increasing levels of VO2 max in the body. Objective to determine the difference of moderate and moderate intensity aerobic exercise effect on increasing percentage of VO2 max level in active smokerResult : Based on research objectives and data analysis results, the conclusions of this study are as follows from research conducted within 8 weeks starting from September to november 2015 in Stikes Baiturrahim Jambi on the influence of moderate intensity aerobic exercise and moderate intensity to VO2 max in active smoker Student Stikes Baiturrahim Conclusion : aerobic exercise of mild intensity and moderate intensity performed 4 times a week for 8 weeks with a duration of 30 minutes each time treatment can increase VO2 max in active smokers
PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN TENTANG PENCEGAHAN KAMBUH ULANG GASTRITIS PADA PASIEN DI PUSKESMAS PUTRI AYU KOTA JAMBI
Background:Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining tissue disorder most often caused by diet. Based on data from the City Health Office of Jambi in Year 2013 in PHC gastritis ranks 4th with the number of visits of 24 213 people. Putri Ayu at the health center of gastritis in the top 10 most prevalent diseases. The aim of research to determine the effect of health education on patients' knowledge about the prevention of relapse over Putri Ayu PHC gastritis in the city of Jambi.Method:This research was conducted at the health center Putri Ayu Jambi, on 22 May 2015 s / d 30 May 2015 where health education was held on Friday 29th May 2015 with respondents as many as 20 patients. This study is a pre experimentdengan draft design one group pretest-posttest. Data obtained by filling out the questionnaire and the analysis of univariate and bivariate by using t-test.Result: of the group who have not given health education (pretest), namely the level of knowledge obtained with the results of the average (mean) = 5.8. Then given treatment in the form of health education and the level of knowledge obtained posttest with the results of the average (mean) = 8.7. Bivariate data analysis by using statistical test obtained t-test p-value = 0.000, the p-value <α (0.05). This shows the significant influence of health education on the knowledge of the respondent.Gastritis patients are advised to eat regularly on the clock the same every day, eat snacks between meals to arrive so that the stomach is not empty, eat less spicy and sour. Caution in using NSAIDs such as aspirin and paracetamol. Must be consumed after meals, rest and managing stress.Keywords : Knowledge, Health Education Prevention of relapse regastriti

Background: The incidence of patellofemoral pain syndrome quadriceps angle of sales promotion girl can caused be standing static position for a long time. Pain is experienced will cause changes in the position of the pedestal to the knee that causes changes in the quadriceps angle. Methods: The survey method of Analytical observation with cross sectional. The design of this research is Point Time Approach, observation subject is only once and the measurements made of the status a character or a variable subject on the inspection, to take a sample with a total sampling method. The normality Test with kolmogrov-smirnov, bivariate relationships with the chi square test. Subjek numbered at 30 people.Results: The results of the relationship test is p-value <0.05 in patellofemoral pain syndrome and quadriceps angle changes. PENGALAMAN KELUARGA MENGHADAPI HOSPITALISASI PASIEN KRITIS DI RUANG ICU RS Dr. BRATANATA JAMBI
Hospitalization is a process that for a reason of planning or emergency, which requires patients to stay in the hospital. Hospital patient care not only causes problems for the patient, but also for the family. The purpose of this study was to determine the family’s experience in dealing with hospitalization of critical patients in ICU Dr. Bratanata Hospital Jambi. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenology approach using Colaizzi model analysis which is implemented in Dr. Bratanata Hospital Jambi. Participants in this study were 5 participants with core family inclusion criteria who had been waiting for more than 7 days and were over 18 years old. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews.The results of the study there is a Critical Hospitalization Patient Response in the ICU room for the family consisting of physical response include fatigue, body complaints and sleep disorders; Psychological responses include anxiety, tension, fear and sadness; Social responses include reduced communication and new experiences
HUBUNGAN SISA MAKANAN TERHADAP LAMA HARI RAWAT DAN BIAYA PASIEN DENGAN PENJAMIN JAMKESMAS DAN JAMPERSAL DIET MAKANAN BIASA DI RUANG RAWAT INAP KELAS III RSUD RADEN MATTAHER JAMBI
Background: Implementation of food is part of the activities of nutrition services in hospitals especially in the inpatient unit. Level of patient satisfaction with the quality of food will affect the food consumed. Satisfaction is low impact on the quality of food resulted in the food wasted of the food provided. Reflect food wasted nutrients intake is not adequate impact to patient malnutrition. Malnutrition can be affect the length of stay longer and higher patient costs. To identify the relationship food wasted to the length of stay in hospitalization and costs of patients with Jamkesmas and Jampersal who got regular diet in the ward class III at Raden Mattaher Jambi Hospital. Methods: This was an observational study with cross sectional design. The study subjects were patients admitted to the ward class III at Raden Mattaher Jambi Hospital in January to March 2013. Data measured by weighing the food waste using a electronic kitchen scale. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Results: Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant correlation between the rest of staple foods, vegetables and vegetable side dish with a length of stay (p> 0.05), whereas significant association between the animal side dish and fruit with a length of stay (p <0,05). There is no significant correlation between staple food, animal dishes, vegetable side dishes, vegetables and fruits with the average cost for treatment responders (p> 0,05). Result: The average food wasted varies according to the type of food. There is a significant relationship between the animal and fruit with a side dish of length of stay and there was no significant relationship between staple food scraps, animal dishes, vegetable side dishes, vegetables and fruits with the average cost of the respondent during in the treatment. PENGETAHUAN DAN MOTIVASI IBU TENTANG PENCEGAHAN DIARE PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS PUTRI AYU KOTA JAMBI TAHUN 2016
Background:The mortality rate of infants and toddlers in Indonesia is the highest in ASEAN countries. The cause of morbidity and mortality most children today are still caused by pneumonia and diarrhea. Diarrheal disease still is one of the major diseases in infants and children in Indonesia. It is estimated morbidity rate ranged between 150-430 per thousand population annually.Method:This research is a descriptive survey which aims to reveal the mother's knowledge and motivation about the prevention of diarrhea in infants at Puskesmas Putri Ayu 2016. This research was conducted in Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi. The population of this research is the average number of monthly children who suffer from diarrhea in 2015 which is an average of 155 childrenand the number of samples in this research as much as 46 respondents. Sampling using accidental sampling technique. The data collectiondone by questionnaire. This research has been conducted on Juni-July 2016. The data analysis is univariateanalysis.Result:The results showed, 34 respondents (73.9%) had very good knowledge, 12 respondents (17%) had good knowledge and 5 respondents had enough knowledge. 32 respondents (91%) have a high motivation on the prevention of diarrhea in infants and low motivation 14 respondents(9%).In this research we can conclude that the knowledge and motivation of mothers on prevention of diarrhea high for the majority, it is advisable for it suggested health officials in order to keep giving information and education programs on the health care of infants and children expecially the prevention of diarrheain infants

Background: Indicators of Healthy Families is an indicator / labeling of the health status of the family. Family declared healthy families if they meet 12 indicators of a healthy family that consists of a family planning program, pregnant women antenatal check (ANC) according to standards, Babies get complete immunization, exclusive breastfeeding infants 0-6 months, growth monitoring Toddler, Tuberculosis Patients according to the standard treatment, patients regularly treated hypertension, severe Mental Disorder Patients treated, there is no family member who smokes, Having Means Water, Using latrines healthy, and A family is already a member of the National Health Insurance (JKN). The purpose of this research is to know the description of indicators of healthy families in the village of Lebak Bandung city of Jambi.Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptively. The samples on this research 65 KK through the technique of "Simple Random Sampling". The data were obtained using a questionnaire of Family Health Profile (PROKESGA). Univariate analysis of data presented in tabular form and narrated by tekstuler frequency.Results: The results showed that the family 44.6% is a Healthy Family, 50,8% Pre Healthy Families, and 4.6% Unhealthy family.Expected Village Lebak Bandung and health center Simpang Kawat is working together to socialize, and motivate the community in implementing the 12 indicators of Healthy Families, so created a healthy Neighborhood
HUBUNGAN PERSONAL HYGIENE DAN PERILAKU MENJAGA KEBERSIHAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DENGAN KEJADIAN ASCARIASIS DI SDN 04/IV ARAB MELAYU KEC. PELAYANGAN KOTA JAMBI
Background : Worm infection is one of the most common diseases spread and infect many children around the world, the prevalence of intestinal worms in Indonesia is still high, between 45-65%, in certain areas the poor environmental conditions could reach 80%. Factors personal hygiene and environmental sanitation is an important factor in this disease. Factors personal hygiene and environmental sanitation is an important factor in this disease.Method : This research was conducted at SDN 04/IV Jambi that have been conducted on 27-30 July 2015 aims to determine the relationship of personal hygiene and behavior of keeping the environment clean school with ascariasis incidence. Quantitative research methods descriptive cross-sectional design. Sample of 37 people were taken by proportional random sampling. Collecting data using laboratory test, and questionnaire. Statistical test used chi-square test using a significance level of 5% (0.05).Result : The survey results revealed that most respondents (54.1%) have good personal hygiene, most respondents (51.4%) had behavioral maintain the cleanliness of the school environment is not good, and the majority of respondents (54.1%) positive with ascariasis. Results reveal that there is a significant association between the occurrence of ascariasis personal hygiene with a p-value of 0.003 (P <0.05) and there was a significant correlation between the behavior of maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment with the incidence of ascariasis with a p-value 0.022 (P <0.05).Expected to students to implement PHBS in everyday life and to the school is expected to facilitate the existing facilities and infrastructure in schools and to community health centers are expected to be able to conduct counseling on ascariasis and periodic checks on elementary school children.Keywords: Personal hygiene, behavioral maintain the cleanliness of the school environment, the incidence of ascariasi
THE EFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION TOWARD KNOWLEDGE OF THE ELDERLY IN MANAGEMENT RISK OF URINARY INCONTINENCE
Indonesia as one of the countries in Asia is a country that experienced an increase in the elderly population rapidly. Survey in 11 Asian countries including Indonesia found 5,052 women suffering from urinary incontinence problems. Along with increasing age, the ability to hold urine is decreasing, so that the elderly have the potential to experience urinary incontinence so intervention is needed to deal with this problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on elderly knowledge in the management of the risk of urinary incontinence. This research is a quantitative research using the One Group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at the Posyandu Kasih in the capital city of Jambi. Sampling technique is accidental sampling, with a sample of 20 respondents, data analysis using univariate and bivariate with T dependen The result of this research that knowledge of the elderly before health education the highest value is 9, the lowest score was 4 with an average overall score of elderly is 6.30. After health education the highest value is 14 and the lowest was 10 with an average overall score of elderly is 12.05. there was an effect of health education on elderly knowledge in the risk management of urinary incontinence in Posyandu Kasih Ibu
