    THE EFFECT OF MSMES AND MANPOWER ON ECONOMIC GROWTH OF TUBAN DISTRICT

    ABSTRACTMSMEs currently have a very large role in the national economy or regional economy. MSMEs are the largest contributor to national GDP. In implication, MSMEs can absorb a lot of labor with a population that has low education. The workforce referred to in this study is the number of workers from the MSME. In the economic growth of a region, MSMEs and the number of workers have a very large contribution. This study aims to determine whether the number of MSMEs or the number of MSME workers has more influence on economic growth in the Tuban area, seen from the number of industrial industries that have begun to spread in the area. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. . Researchers used secondary data in the form of a ten-year time series, namely 2011-2020, sourced from the Tuban BPS (Central Statistics Agency) and the Tuban Cooperative and MSME Office. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression with the OLS method. The results of this study simultaneously the number of MSME units and the number of MSME workers have an effect on GRDP or economic growth in Tuban Regency. . This study uses the independent variables the number of MSME units and the number of MSME workers while the dependent variable is economic growth.Keywords: MSMEs; Labor; Economic Growt

    This study aims to analyse and obtain explanations related to research on the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance, as well as mediating variables, namely self efficacy and readiness for change. This type of research has the purpose of collecting data on each variable to explain events, populations and conditions.  The population used is permanent employees of PT Pearland, where the company is located in Ngadirejo Village, Boyolali Regency, Central Java, a total of 110 people in the production department.  The analysis used in this research is quantitative data analysis. The analysis method that will be used in this study is a method that can be used to determine the relationship between variables, namely the PLS (Partial Least Square) application.  Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that transformational leadership does not have a significant positive direct effect on employee performance at PT Pearland Boyolali. Transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee self-efficacy, which means that the quality of leadership affects the level of employee self-efficacy. Furthermore, employee self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on performance, indicating that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the employee performance. In addition, transformational leadership also has a positive effect on readiness for change, which then contributes to improving employee performance through the desire to change

    Psychological pressure is a prevalent issue among employees, which is now openly acknowledged and discussed. The focus on mental health encourages employees to alleviate mental stress, enabling them to have faith in their own capabilities, stay motivated to reach their full potential, and seize opportunities to excel, ultimately leading to job satisfaction. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing job satisfaction. The research methodology employed includes a review of literature and empirical studies found in various books and previous research journals. The findings indicate that Work-life Balance, Workplace Incivility Behavior, Psychological Well-being, and Employee Assistance Program have an impact on Job Satisfaction. Based on the results, it is recommended that organizations prioritize initiatives promoting work-life balance, address workplace incivility behavior through training programs, foster a respectful work environment, and promote psychological well-being through mindfulness practices and stress management programs. Additionally, implementing an effective Employee Assistance Program with counseling services and support can significantly contribute to overall job satisfaction

    ABSTRACTShopee is a popular online shopping platform in Indonesia. This platform offers a wide range of products from various sellers, including products specifically targeted towards students. This research was conducted to find out whether there is an Influence of Brand Ambassador, Trust, Price and Product on Purchasing Decisions (case study in Pekanbaru students). The object of this study is Shopee Indonesia with an active student population of universities in Pekanbaru (UNRI, UIR, UMRI, UNILAK and UIN) who have worked at Shopee Indonesia with a sample of 198 people. The sampling technique, namely by  using simple random sampling  using snowball sampling data collection techniques,  the results of this study show that Brand Ambassador and  Trust do not have  a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Shopee Indonesia by Pekanbaru students, while Prices and Products have a significant influence on purchasing decisions on Shopee Indonesia by Pekanbaru students. This research is conducted due to the shift in Indonesian society's shopping behavior, from traditional shopping behavior to digitalization with online buy and sell transactions. The implication of the results of this research is the importance of Shopee providing quality products at prices that meet the desires and target market.Keywords: Brand Ambassador, Trust, Pricing, Products, and Purchasing Decisions

    New business growth is significantly influenced by entrepreneurial intention. Although numerous research have demonstrated that attitudes have an impact on how intentions are formed, little has been done to dynamically engage social and psychological capital in this interaction. An essential part of developing trustworthy and competent human resources in this industry is vocational education. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the relationship between social capital and psychological capital on entrepreneurial intention and to investigate the mediation function of entrepreneurial orientation in that relationship. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data was collected through an online questionnaire which was filled in by vocational education students at MAN 1 Bukittinggi. The number of samples in this study were 101 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire which was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS analysis tool. The results showed that social capital and psychological capital had no significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, but had a significant effect on entrepreneurial orientation, which in turn had a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Finally, social capital and psychological capital have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions through the mediation of entrepreneurial orientation

    ABSTRACTThe current needs of the community in various activities such as working in offices, doing business, college, and schools require an increasingly diverse range of paper printing products, consumers are looking for quality products through various forms of promotions from these paper printing companies, giving rise to business competition with introduce products according to the needs and desires of consumers, then communicate the advantages of these products. A consumer in making a buying decision is influenced by several factors including product quality and promotion. In the city of Medan there are several paper printing places, one of which is Givethank Printing, which has been around for 10 years, a paper printing company in the Jalan Jamin Ginting area of Medan, offering several types of products from paper printing such as banners, invitations, brochures, business cards, stamps, screen printing. , and others. This research is quantitative in nature, data collection was carried out by questionnaires with partial and simultaneous testing of product quality and promotion which had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The population and sample are customers of several communities and students residing in the area. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality and promotion on purchasing decisions at Givethanks Printing in Medan. The research methodology is quantitative, namely testing theories through measuring research variables with numbers and analyzing data using statistical procedures, with the help of the SPSS Software Application.     ABSTRACTPoverty is a social problem that is global in nature, and is a problem that is often faced by many people in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, the people in Kemloko Village, Nglegok District, Blitar are doing koi fish farming to improve their economy. This study aims to analyze the increase in the economy in Kemloko village and the factors that influence the income of koi fish farming entrepreneurs. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach using primary data, the methods used are observation and interviews. The analysis technique used goes through three stages, namely sorting out important or main things and focusing on important things in the field, then presenting the data in order to better understand the case being researched. The conclusions from this study (1) Koi fish farming activities carried out by the Kelud Koi Koi Fish Cultivation group can improve the economic level of the Kemloko village community for the better. In addition, this activity can increase the productivity of the community. (2) Land area, seeds and feed are factors that influence the level of koi fish production in Kemloko village. (3) Capital and market competition are obstacles that are often faced by the Kemloko village community when carrying out koi fish farming activities.Keywords: Economic improvement, Community economy, Productivity, PovertyKemiskinan merupakan masalah sosial yang bersifat global, dan merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh banyak orang di Indonesia. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, masyarakat di Desa Kemloko, Kecamatan Nglegok, Blitar melakukan budidaya ikan koi untuk meningkatkan perekonomian mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan perekonomian di desa Kemloko dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan pengusaha budidaya ikan koi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan data primer, metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu memilah hal-hal penting atau pokok dan memfokuskan pada hal-hal penting di lapangan, kemudian menyajikan data agar lebih memahami kasus yang diteliti. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini (1) Kegiatan budidaya ikan Koi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok Budidaya Ikan Koi Kelud Koi dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi masyarakat desa Kemloko menjadi lebih baik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan produktivitas masyarakat. (2) Luas lahan, bibit dan pakan merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi ikan koi di desa Kemloko. (3) Modal dan persaingan pasar merupakan kendala yang sering dihadapi masyarakat desa Kemloko dalam melakukan kegiatan budidaya ikan koi.Kata kunci: Peningkatan Ekonomi, Ekonomi Kerakyatan, Produktivitas, Kemiskinan

    Consumers demand a product that matches their wants, price, service, lifestyle, and needs. This causes companies to experience intense competition due to the increasingly complex demands of consumer desires. This research examines explicitly consumer perceptions regarding the effectiveness of purchasing decisions at J.Co Donuts Foresta Tangerang. This research is a type of causality with a quantitative approach to analysis. The research population is consumers from J.Co Donuts Foresta BSD Tangerang with a sample of 93 respondents using Slovin's calculations. The analysis technique uses multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression techniques. The study results show that promotions and services significantly affect consumer purchasing decisions of J.Co Donuts Foresta BSD Tangerang with positive direction regression coefficients both simultaneously and partially. The effectiveness of consumer purchasing decisions J.Co Donuts Foresta BSD Tangerang only contributes 26.5 percent based on Promotion and Service factors

    ABSTRACTPerformance is the behavior displayed by someone in carrying out work according to their potential, where a work target can be completed at the right time or does not exceed the time limit provided so as to produce something meaningful for the organization, the wider community, or for himself. This study aims to evaluate employee performance based on the level of organizational commitment, organizational culture, and provision of incentives at the Post Office in the city of Bukittinggi. Methods of data collection through surveys and distributing questionnaires, with a sample of 145 employee respondents. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The research results obtained based on the partial test (t test) obtained: (a) partially there is a significant influence between Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance. Thus Ho is rejected Ha is accepted. (b) partially there is a significant influence between Organizational Culture on Employee Performance. Thus it is obtained that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted. (c) partially there is a significant influence between Incentives on Employee Performance. Thus it is obtained that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted. (d) simultaneously there is an influence of organizational commitment, organizational culture, and giving incentives to employee performance. The contribution of organizational commitment, organizational culture and incentives variables is 0.644 or 64.4% on employee performance while the remaining 35.6% is influenced by variables others not examined

    This study aims to estimate the potential revenue of taxing the digital commerce transaction in Indonesia by implementing Value Added Tax on e-Commerce. The estimation is calculated from Indonesia’s electronic commerce projection from Statista in three scenarios, optimistic scenario, moderate scenario, and pessimistic scenario. The estimated VAT on e-Commerce revenues from these three scenarios are then compared with the VAT revenue in State Budget 2020. The estimations show that imposing VAT on e-commerce can raise 3,02-5,35% VAT revenue target in 2020
