Produtos educacionais de filosofia: a produção do mestrado profissional e seu contexto
Get PDFThe article discusses the didactic and educational products creation in the scope of philosophy teaching, and especially it is looking into an experience of research, formation and technical production from the Professional Master’s degree of the Philosophy and Teaching Post-graduation (PPFEN-CEFET/RJ). The aims of this research stage consists in situating the educational production elaboration of philosophy in the context of Professional Master’s degrees focused on teaching; analyzing documents and politics from Ministry of Education and, mainly, from CAPES that concerns the foundation of Professional Master courses, especially those focused on teaching with emphasis in guidelines and recommendations about Master’s Degree final project; reviewing part of academic writing focused on typification of educational products created in professional master’s courses; and presenting, from PPFEN’s experience, a proposal of educational products typification in field of Philosophy.O artigo discute a criação de produtos didáticos e educacionais no âmbito do ensino de filosofia, debruçando-se especialmente sobre a experiência de pesquisa, formação e produção técnica do curso de Mestrado Profissional do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Filosofia e Ensino (PPFEN-CEFET/RJ). Os objetivos desta etapa da pesquisa consistem em situar a produção de produtos educacionais de Filosofia no contexto dos Mestrados Profissionais voltados ao ensino; analisar documentos e políticas do Ministério da Educação e, sobretudo, da Capes que dizem respeito à criação dos cursos de Mestrado Profissional, especialmente aqueles voltados ao ensino e com ênfase nas diretrizes e recomendações a respeito dos trabalhos de conclusão de curso; revisar parte da produção acadêmica voltada à tipificação de produtos educacionais criados em cursos de mestrado profissional; e apresentar, a partir da experiência do PPFEN, proposta de tipificação de produtos educacionais na área de filosofia
A Luta por Reconhecimento: base para uma educação voltada à construção da cidadania?
Get PDFThis article aims to investigate if and how the theoretical instruments presented by Axel Honneth in Struggle for Recognition: the grammar of social conflicts may contribute to improve the educational process oriented to the construction of citizenship. This question highlights a privileged locus for teaching philosophy, particularly at the middle level, aimed at reinforcing values and references to life in society that guide students in the search for personal self-realization as citizens. At the regular education, it is suggested the adoption of pedagogical practices related to the learning of the three stages of recognition identified by Honneth (love, law and solidarity) and the development of their corresponding counterparts in social relations, such as self-confidence, self-respect and self-esteem.Este artigo tem por objetivo indagar se e como o instrumental teórico apresentado por Axel Honneth em Luta por reconhecimento: a gramática dos conflitos sociais pode contribuir para aprimorar o processo educacional orientado à construção da cidadania. Essa indagação visa evidenciar locus privilegiado para o ensino de filosofia, em particular, no nível médio, voltado ao reforço de valores e referências para a vida em sociedade que orientem os educandos na busca de autorrealização pessoal como cidadãos. No ensino médio, sugere-se a adoção de práticas pedagógicas que remetam ao aprendizado das três etapas de reconhecimento identificadas por Honneth (o amor, o direito e a solidariedade) e ao desenvolvimento de seus correspondentes reflexos nas relações sociais, quais sejam a autoconfiança, o autorrespeito e a autoestima

Platão antitrágico: a crítica à poesia nos livros II e III de a República
Get PDFThe article shows that, in criticizing and censoring poetry, in books II and III of The Republic, rather than adjusting the traditional school curriculum to the demands of its political project, Plato intends to extinguish a certain "Weltanschauung" produced and consolidated by it. The attack is directed at all poetic genres, but the main aim is dramatic poetry, that is, the one in which mimesis is understood as personification or incorporation of characters, and, among dramatic genres, the tragic will be considered its greatest enemy.O artigo pretende mostrar que, ao criticar e censurar a poesia, nos livros II e III de A República, mais do que adequar o currículo escolar tradicional às exigências de seu projeto político, Platão tem em vista a extinção de uma determinada “visão de mundo” produzida e consolidada por ela. O ataque é dirigido a todos os gêneros poéticos, mas o principal alvo é a poesia dramática, isto é, aquela em que a mímesis é entendida como personificação ou incorporação de personagens, e, dentre os gêneros dramáticos, o trágico será considerado seu maior inimigo

It was also, from the origins of Western thought, a point of contact between Tragedy, Medicine and Philosophy. This paper intends to follow closely the strategies by which Plato appropriated elements of medicine and theater to build his dramatis personae diseased, and then try to understand one of the reasons for his distancing himself from the tragedy in the Republic.A doença é um evento transcultural, pelo fato que ela interfere nos rumos da cultura, bem como na política, nas artes e na moral de um povo. Ela também foi, desde as origens do pensamento ocidental, um ponto de contato entre Tragédia, Medicina e Filosofia. Este artigo pretende acompanhar de perto as estratégias pelas quais Platão se apropriou de elementos da medicina e do teatro para construir suas dramatis personae enfermas, para em seguida procurar compreender um dos motivos de seu distanciamento da tragédia na República
O papel fundamental da Princesa Elisabeth na redação da Recherche de la Vérité de René Descartes
Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to analyze Descartes' relationship with Princess Elisabeth as a fundamental element for the dating of The Search for Truth. The only dialogue written by Descartes, the unfinished work is the subject of several controversies. The disagreement between commentators with regard not only to the date, but also to the philosophy presented in the text, is evident. Trying to bring new light in to this debate, we seeks, through a unique element, Descartes' relationship with the princess, to find favorable indications to a late date, contrary to the current tendency to defend the text as a work of young age.O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar a relação de Descartes com a princesa Elisabeth, enquanto elemento fundamental para a datação da Recherche de la Vérité. Único diálogo escrito por Descartes, a obra inacabada é alvo de diversas polêmicas. O desacordo entre os comentadores no que diz respeito não somente à datação do texto, mas à filosofia nele apresentada, é evidente. Tentando trazer nova luz a esse debate, busca-se, através de um elemento ímpar, a relação de Descartes com a princesa, encontrar indícios favoráveis a uma datação tardia, contrariamente à tendência atual de defender o texto como uma obra de juventude
