    World life which is constantly changing rapidly requires the presence of realistic studies and views by paying attention to local wisdom. In the academic field, especially education today, which is characterized by decentralization and autonomy, it gives a pedagogical orientation to the trend of multiculturalism. The orientation of Indonesian education is directed at the nation's motto “Bhineka Tunggal Ika”, Unity in Diversity, meaning that the blueprint for Indonesian education must be based on a philosophical and cultural basis which guarantees that Indonesian people are dignified and sovereign who are not uprooted from their cultural roots as an Indonesian nation. Guidance and counseling as an integral part of education requires a strong philosophical foundation based on the abstraction of environmental and local cultural values. For guidance and counseling, the philosophical foundation provides directions for scientific development as general competence, code of ethics, and practice of guidance and counseling services. Directions are needed as a guide in facing such rapid and complex changes in life

The findings strongly support the notion that effective communication within the family is vital for the healthy growth and development of children's personalities. When communication patterns are well-established, it fosters open and honest relationships between parents and children, allowing parents to understand better and cater to their children's needs

    The writing of this Literature review is based on the existence of various problems of social development stages in children and parental communication patterns in Indonesia, which are still not entirely positive, inappropriate and effective for development and children's growth, including children's social development such as children who are not brave, nervous and even cry if they are going to communicate and interact with other people or society. This literature review aims to analyze and see specifically and theoretically how the influence of democratic parental communication patterns on one of the child's developmental tasks, namely the development of children's social interactions with the surrounding environment. The method in this literature review was carried out on six articles obtained by researchers from one database, namely Google Scholar. The keywords used to search for this article were "democratic parenting," "child development tasks," "child social development," and "child interaction.

    Research conducted directly in schools showed that several students experienced moderate and high levels of online game addiction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of self- management technique group counseling to reduce online game addiction in class VIII students. This research uses pre-experimental quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest research design. The findings in this study were students who experienced the negative impact of online game addiction such as withdrawing and not being able to socialize with the surrounding environment, there were also students who ruled out the primary need to play online games. The instrument in this study used an online game addiction scale that had been tested for validity and reliability with the help of SPSS 25. The paired sample t-test was used  in this study as a decision-making process with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results obtained from the paired sample t-test test with a significant level (α) of 0.05 shows the results of Sig. (2-tailed) < significant level that is equal to 0.006 < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and  H0 is  rejected. It can  be concluded that self-management technique group counseling is proven to be effective in reducing students who are addicted to online game

    Increase Optimism of Adolescents Who Experience Nonsuicidal Self-Injury Through Mandala Drawing Activities

    Adolescence is one of the phases with a fairly fluctuating dynamic level of optimism. Adolescents with low levels of optimism are prone to feeling hopeless to hurt themselves. The tendency of adolescents to hurt themselves into a condition called Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI). An alternative immediate treatment of the condition of students experiencing NSSI with low levels of optimism was tested in this study. Testing using the Pre-Experiment method with the types of One Group Pre Test and Post Test with subjects as many as ten adolescents selected based on purposive sampling technique. The alternative treatment used is the drawing mandala activity  which is a drawing pattern used as a medium for channeling emotions. The analysis used in this study is a test that compares two conditions, namely the Paired Sample T-test. The results of the analysis conducted show that Mandala drawing activities can increase the level of optimism of adolescents who experience NSSI. So that Mandala activities can be used as a medium for immediate handling for NSSI teenagers who have low optimism. However, the results of this study need to be tested further in a wider population and also with generalizable methods

    Kesiapan Siswa dalam Menghadapi Pembelajaran Digital: Analisis Bibliometrik

    This study aims to map the results of publications on the topic of student readiness and digital learning. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The data used in this research comes from CrossRef. The data search is carried out through the Publish or Perish application. The search results yielded a total of 599 articles in English. The keywords used to search for articles are "Student Readiness" and "Digital Learning". The results of this study indicate that research on student readiness is still small when compared to research on digital learning topics. In addition, there is no research that directly analyzes how students are prepared to face digital learning, this can certainly be novelty for future researchers who will research digital learning. The suggestion from this study is that researchers conduct research related to student learning readiness in digital learning such as student readiness in distance learning or student readiness in using digital learning media

    This study aims to develop guidelines for empathetic communication methods for teachers and students in preventing gender bias microaggressions based on flip book media. This research method uses Hannafin and Peck's model development research. This development research applies steps starting from the stages of needs analysis, design, product development, material and media expert testing, revision, and user testing. The subjects of this study were 20 elementary school teachers in Makassar City. The research data collection technique uses a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation, and user trials in the form of a Google form using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and reflective data analysis. The results showed that the teacher's level of need for digital guidance was 90% and was categorized as feasible through validation by media and material experts at 90% and through the user test process with a high level of media feasibility. This shows that the teach-smart digital guide is appropriate in reducing and preventing microaggressions caused by the teacher's gender bias behavior in the learning process

    Guidance and counseling is a process of assisting someone in solving and dealing with problems in their life through an extension worker, either by preventing problems from arising or by finding solutions to their problems. This study aims to determine guidance and counseling in optimizing students' interest in continuing their tertiary studies at the eleventh grade of Vocational High School PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu Lampung Timur. This type of research is field research, with the nature of qualitative descriptive research. This study uses interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the Head of the eleventh grade of Vocational High School PGRI 1 Transpram II, Deputy Student Affairs, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Counseling Teachers, eight students, and two alums of the eleventh grade of Vocational High School PGRI 1 Transpram II. All these data were analyzed deductively. Based on the results of research, guidance, and counseling in optimizing the interest of students continuing their tertiary studies at the eleventh grade of Vocational High School PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu Lampung Timur in its implementation uses orientation services, information services, placement, and distribution services, classical guidance services, and individual guidance services. Factors influencing students' interest in continuing their studies at tertiary institutions are support from the school, motivation, and support from the family

    Keefektifan Konseling Kelompok SFBC dalam Meningkatkan Resiliensi Siswa

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with a solution-focused brief counseling approach to increase student resilience at SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdana Kusuma. This research method uses the One Group Pre-Test Experiment and Post-Test Design. The research instrument used a resilience questionnaire and a guide to implementing SFBC counseling. The population in this study were all students of class XI-4 SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdanakusuma, totaling 67 students. In taking the sample using purposive sampling technique, in order to get as many as 9 students. Then the data analysis technique used in this study used the t-table test to see the differences in the two pieces of data before and after being given treatment. The results showed that there was an increase in the average resilience attitude of Angkasa 1 high school students from a mean pre-test score of 61.5 to a post-test score of 67.4. So it can be concluded that the SFBC approach in group counseling is significantly effective in increasing the resilience attitude of Angkasa 1 high school students

    Counseling is a process of providing assistance to individuals who have problems. The goal is to eradicate and develop individuals who develop optimally so that they can become independent individuals. It takes the figure of a counselor. As a counselor who has quality, a counselor who will be a successful counseling. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Aims to find out how the quality of the counselor as a companion to the counseling process is successful. Data collection uses the results of interviews, observations and literature studies sourced from various literature both from books and research journals. The research subjects were 3 counseling teachers and 3 students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The technique of taking research subjects using a purposive sampling technique. The results can be concluded that the quality of the counselor is a major factor in the success of counseling. The counselor's qualities include being able to understand himself, having knowledge in his field, having good mental health, being warm, honest, self-sacrificing, patient, sensitive, a good listener, honest, to a trusted counselor. So that in this case the counselee's trust in the counselor is formed. This is what will shape the counseling process into successful counseling
