Narrative Strategies and Confidence Building of Chinese Traditional Culture in the Global Context—A Case Study of the Game Black Myth: Wukong
Get PDFBlack Myth: Wukong, as a highly influential game, has garnered significant attention in the current era of increasingly frequent global cultural exchange. In terms of narrative strategies, the game employs transmedia storytelling, utilizing diverse media forms to expand cultural dissemination channels. It promotes a fusion of global and local narratives, skillfully integrating Chinese mythology into universal narrative structures, thereby preserving local cultural characteristics while resonating with international audiences. Through interactive storytelling, it allows players to deeply participate in the story’s development, enhancing the cultural experience. Black Myth: Wukong not only inspires domestic public recognition of traditional culture but also elevates the global influence of Chinese culture. It provides valuable insights for the international dissemination of traditional culture in aspects such as content creation, dissemination strategies, and talent development, effectively contributing to the construction of China’s cultural confidence. Focusing on this, this paper provides an in-depth analysis of the Chinese traditional culture embedded within it and its narrative strategies and confidence construction within the international context
Artificial Intelligence and Urban Economics: An Observational Study on Labor Market Transformation and Commercial Real Estate Dynamics
Get PDFThis study combines current observation of empirical literature and current labor market data to assess the multi-dimensional impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the urban labor markets and the resulting effects on the commercial real estate markets. The study show cases a multi-dimensional perspective by evaluating how the polarization of labor triggered by AI, the wage inequality triggered by skills sets and the emergence of anywhere working are changing the urban economic landscape. It is noted that the effect of AI is felt disproportionately on high skill, urban based jobs which has led to a re-evaluation of the traditional office requirements and further development through suburban working models and workplace hybrids. The study documents a defined geographic redeployment of the economic activity with major implications for the urban form and function. The concluding outcome of the study is that mitgating the negative effects and realizing the potential require an integrated multi-valued stakeholder response. The study offers evidence based suggestions for urban planners, investors and governments to develop the appealing, integrated and inclusive urban economic milieu during the period of AI

The Gaza Conflict, from an International Law Perspective Failure of Humanitarian Law and Restructuring of Global Governance
Get PDFThe 2023-2025 Gaza conflict, which killed more than 35,000 people, has exposed the systemic failure of the contemporary international humanitarian law system. This article uses the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols as an analytical framework, combined with the implementation dilemma of UN Security Council resolution 2728 (2024), Revealing the persistent violations of the principles of proportionality and distinction by the belligerents, especially the Israel Defense Forces-including indiscriminate attacks on medical facilities, journalists and civilian settlements. The study was conducted through three dimensions: first, deconstructing the legal roots of the international community’s “failure of collective action”, with a focus on the legal disputes over U.S. arms supplies and EU economic sanctions; Secondly, assess the effectiveness of China’s “Two-state Solution” reconstruction initiative, Russia’s “Humanitarian Corridor” program and the Arab League’s mediation action; Finally, a new mechanism of “preventive judicial intervention” was proposed, suggesting the strengthening of the pre-forensic rights of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the establishment of a United Nations standing conflict verification force. This paper particularly demonstrates the extended application of the definition of war crimes in Article 8 of the Rome Statute, providing an operational legal toolkit for future conflict prevention

It is an emerging driving force for innovative development. This paper integrates the innovation ecosystem theory from management discipline into the field of digital publishing, examines the historical trajectory and progression of the theory by conducting a systematic literature review, and constructs a theoretical framework of the innovation ecosystem. With symbiosis and evolution as the core, the innovation ecosystem reconstructs the development landscape of digital publishing from an ecological perspective, and provides theoretical support for solving the innovation problems of digital publishing in terms of innovation concepts, organizational relationships, and innovation momentum

By means of textual close reading and cross-cultural research methods, this paper analyzes the tragic forms of the dramatic works of Guan Hanqing and WilliamShakespeare from multiple dimensions, including tragic characters, tragic conflicts, and tragic endings. A comparative study of the tragic forms in their dramatic works helps us deeply understand the unique charm and inherent differences between Chinese and Western tragedies, providing a new perspective for cross-cultural drama research
Research on the Content of Similarity Comparison in Trademark Infringement Judgment
Get PDFAs for trademark infringement, in judicial judgment, the focus is on the scope and criteria of the similarity comparison. The comparison will be carried out based on the plaintiff’s registered trademark (legal right basis), and the defendant’s trademark used in practice (factual behavior object). Comparison should be conducted in terms of the mark as a whole, its visual and conceptual appearance, and its stand-alone source-identifying elements for the issued mark. In the constituent element analysis, one must take into account the actual usage situation of the trademark, since different situations may lead to different identification results of similar elements. In essence, trademark similarity infringement is a negation of the basic function of the registered trademark, which is source identification. The main standard for judging infringement is whether defendant’s trademark possesses the capability of guiding customers to the source of plaintiff’s goods and services. Fact that the defendant's trademark itself indicates it is the source as well does not preclude infringement established. This study systematically sort out logical framework of similarity comparison in trademark infringement judging, and combine theory with typical cases in order to clarify the core problems like subject of similarity, object of similarity, dimension and standard of similarity, providing theoretical support and operational references for the unified application of law in judiciary process
Paradigm Shift and Strategic Construction of Chinese Culture's International Communication in the New Media Era: A Dual-Case Study of Li Ziqi and TikTok
Get PDFThe international communication of Chinese culture in the new media era faces the dual challenges of the cultural discount and narrative silence. Traditional communication models exhibit prominent issues such as the cognitive gap between official and public perceptions and misalignment in content supply. Employing a methodology of case study and theoretical integration, this paper focuses on two representative cases: Li Ziqi's "Oriental Pastoralism" visual utopia and the "fragmented" communication of TikTok short videos. It systematically investigates the paradigm shift and practical pathways for Chinese culture’s international communication in the new media context. The research finds that the core breakthrough of the new media communication paradigm lies in: Li Ziqi's approach of deep cultural embedding and TikTok's model of scaled dissemination, representing the diversified practical paths of "slow narrative, deep implantation" and "lightweight, viral diffusion" respectively. Meanwhile, current communication still faces challenges such as cultural decoding barriers, credibility dilemmas, and content homogenization. Based on these findings, this paper proposes communication strategies centered on "humanized narratives, localized platforms and collaborative actors" and points out new forms for the future of international communication of Chinese culture. It aims to provide theoretical reference and practical insights for constructing a future-oriented international communication system for Chinese culture

Translation and Explanation Strategies for Culturally Loaded Words in “Chinese Language + Intangible Cultural Heritage” Instruction
Get PDFThe international Chinese education industry is currently shifting from providing language proficiency to promoting cultural understanding. Intangible cultural heritage, as a living carrier of national wisdom, has become an instrumental point in the reform and development of teaching practices. Culture-loaded terms also carry cultural genes and historical memories in the inheritance of intangible culture. The translation of these terms faces the dual challenges of both the loss of cultural information and loss of contextual information. Teaching practice today must transcend the limitations of traditional language-centered pedagogical methods and reconstruct the transmission pathway of intangible cultural heritage terminology from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. The handling of such terminology makes a difference to the accuracy and successful representation of cultural heritage and ultimately contributes to the level of international society's understanding of civilization and culture in general. Educators face the dilemma of intention to maintain the local elements while simultaneously considering the cultural context of the target population.
