Research on the Impact of Board Stability on Corporate Internationalization: Evidence from China
In the context of economic globalization, internationalization strategies serve as a critical pathway for enterprises to enhance competitiveness. Board stability reflects the internal resilience of the board of directors and the continuity of corporate strategic orientation, exerting a significant influence on corporate internationalization. This study empirically examines the impact of board stability on the degree of corporate internationalization using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2015 to 2023. The results indicate that board stability significantly improves the degree of corporate internationalization. Further analysis reveals that this positive effect is pronounced only in firms where the board lacks overseas experience and in those located in eastern regions of China. The findings clarify the role of board stability in the dynamic process of corporate internationalization and provide practical insights for optimizing multinational operations and management
Research on English Reading Teaching in Junior High School Based on Production-Oriented Approach
In language teaching, production-oriented approach (POA) is an instructional method that leverages “output” to promote “input.” This approach enhances the relevance of input and the effectiveness of output. Taking junior high school English reading instruction as a case study, this research implemented POA over a semester with two classes of Grade 8 from a Wuhan school. A mixed-methods design was employed in this article. SPSS 20.0 was performed on pre- and post-test reading scores, while qualitative data were collected through focus group interviews with 10 students from the experimental group and were analyzed via open coding to identify key themes and explain outcome variations. Findings indicated that POA significantly improved students’ reading proficiency and was well-received by the majority, as it strengthened their motivation, sense of achievement, autonomous learning abilities, and English communication skills.
Research on the Reform of Teaching Methods in Higher Education Institutions under the Background of Artificial Intelligence Era - Taking the Design and Construction of Building Steel Structures as an Example
In the rapidly developing era of artificial intelligence, predicting the social environment in the post AI era, the general model of artificial intelligence has become more mature, and relevant professional models have been integrated into the general model or independent. The understanding, development, and use of artificial intelligence have become an indispensable part of social operation. Compliance monitoring of intelligent tools and related usage system requirements are listed and subject to relevant legal constraints. In order to cultivate new talents in the era of artificial intelligence, this article takes the blueprint of higher education in the post artificial intelligence era as an example, taking the course of architectural steel structure design and construction, and combines the blended teaching of Chaoxing AI online and offline classrooms to reflect on the current direction of university teaching reform. It proposes that the current university teaching reform needs to further create a software and hardware ecosystem, further guide and regulate the degree of intervention in AI use, gradually form new talent evaluation indicators, consider the weight of AI use, and lay a solid foundation for the transition of future classrooms
The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Income Gap between Labor and Capital—Empirical Analysis Based on A-share Listed Companies
Against the backdrop of artificial intelligence reshaping the income distribution pattern of enterprises, the widening gap between labor and capital income shares has raised concerns about social equity. This article empirically tests the impact of artificial intelligence applications on the income share gap between labor and capital based on data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2022. Research has found that the application of artificial intelligence significantly widens the income gap between labor and capital, with the core mechanisms being the capital labor substitution theory and the theory of technological progress bias; Heterogeneity analysis shows that this effect is particularly prominent in non-state-owned enterprises (expanding by 0.35%) and labor-intensive industries (expanding by 0.28%), while state-owned enterprises do not show significant expansion due to policy constraints (salary control, job stability responsibilities) and technology intensive industries due to skill technology complementarity. This article suggests alleviating distribution polarization by strengthening worker skills training and designing profit sharing mechanisms, providing policy insights for coordinating technical efficiency and income equity
Research on the Relationship and Influencing Factors of Digital Economy Industry in the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle
The digital economy has become a key engine for regional economic growth. As the "leader" of the western economy, the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle will play an important role in promoting rapid economic growth and achieving high-quality development in advancing the Western Development, promoting regional coordinated development, and building a new development pattern of "dual circulation". This study introduces the Cobb Douglas production function and takes the digital economy indicators of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle as the research object. The panel cointegration test method is used to empirically analyze the annual economic data of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle from 2013 to 2020, verifying that the digital economy has a positive effect on the economic growth of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle. The scale of the digital economy, digital economy industries, and digital economy infrastructure have a significant promoting effect on the economic growth of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle, but the integration of the digital economy does not have a significant driving effect on the economy. Based on this conclusion, a path for promoting the development of digital economy in the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle has been proposed
Mechanistic Study of Citrate Affecting the Adsorption of Gold Nanoparticles by Goethite
The mechanism of regulating the interfacial behavior of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in environmental media is key to assessing their ecological risks. In this study, we break through the traditional one-factor adsorption research model and focus on the multiscale regulatory role of Citrate (Cit) in the nanoparticle-mineral interface, revealing for the first time the biphasic mechanism by which this molecule dominates the environmental behavior of AuNPs through pH-responsive coordination mode switching. By constructing the goethite-AuNPs- Cit ternary interface model, it was found that : under acidic conditions (pH pHpzc ), Cit bridges the negatively charged clinoptilolite and AuNPs through charge-assisted hydrogen bonds (CAHBs) and Lewis acid-base interactions, promoting adsorption. This study innovatively established an organic ligand-mediated dynamic regulation model of nanoparticles (NPs) interface, clarified the mutation mechanism of NPs ‘retardation-migration’ behavior caused by pH oscillation in rhizosphere microenvironment, and provided a theoretical basis for the study of the interaction between NPs and minerals. Meanwhile, it will also bring new insights into the environmental fate of AuNPs, especially in the rhizosphere environment
English Translation of Culture-loaded Terms in TCM from the Perspective of Cultural Translation Theory—A Case Study on Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases (Shang Han Lun)
Since the native medical science originating in local China, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has been the prominent representative of Chinese civilization. Under the guidance of culture “going global” strategy, it is a critical project to take our fine culture of TCM to the global stage. TCM classics always contain lots of culture-loaded words whose literal counterparts cannot be found in English, leading to great difficulties in translation. Therefore, Luo Xiwen’s Target Text of Treatise on Cold Damage Disease (Shang Han Lun), one of the four TCM classics, is selected for its high recognition to analyzes its culture-loaded words. In addition, the paper studies the translation strategies of culture-loaded words in TCM from the perspective of cultural translation theories and find that translators can opt foreignization or domestication according to different situations, or even can combine them to produce a better translation text, hoping to offer some reference for TCM translation
A Comparative Analysis of the Role Functions of Dumbledore and Gandalf from a Narratological Perspective
Based on narratological theory and employing A. J. Greimas’s actantial model, this study conducts a comparative analysis of the narrative functions exhibited by Gandalf in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings versus those manifested by Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series. The analysis reveals that while both characters fulfill the dual roles of “senders” and “helpers”, their functional orientations diverge significantly: Gandalf operates predominantly as a “catalyst” and “mediator”, in contrast to Dumbledore who primarily assumes the roles of “mentor” and “guardian”. Notably, Dumbledore demonstrates paradoxical characteristics of an “opponent” within specific narrative contexts. These functional divergences not only manifest Tolkien’s return to traditional epic paradigms but also embody Rowling’s critique of contemporary society, thus delineating the transformative trajectory of 20th-century fantasy literature from mythological narration to humanistic narration
The Impact of Demographic Structure on Consumption Structure: A Comparative Study of China and Japan
This paper adopts a comparative methodology. The comparison between China and Japan is justified by the significant similarities and crucial differences in their developmental paths. This research initially applies quantitative approaches to examine the data furnished by the primary statistical agencies of both nations. Subsequently, a multiple linear regression analysis is carried out via EViews to explore the correlation between age cohorts and final consumption expenditure. Additionally, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is utilized through SPSS to analyze the consumption structures of China and Japan in each period. The results indicate that both China and Japan exhibit features of a stacked consumption society; nevertheless, Japan has undergone four distinct consumption epochs, while China might have only gone through three. In Japan, the emergence of a stacked consumption society is temporal in nature; conversely, in China, it is spatial
The Rising Far Right in Australia—A Diachronic Case Analysis of the One Nation Party and Australia’s Political Environment
Since the subprime mortgage crisis, global right-wing extremism (RWE) has entered a new phase of ascendance, becoming particularly prominent in the post-pandemic era. While European parties such as AfD and RN are nearing political dominance, and the U.S. Republican Party is increasingly aligned with far-right populism, Australia’s One Nation Party (ONP), though relatively marginal, reflects similar ideological shifts. This paper investigates the rise of the ONP as part of a broader international trend, arguing that economic stagnation and a growing disconnect between progressive social values and material conditions have fueled public discontent. In response, the ONP has pursued a strategy of “de-radicalization”—rebranding itself as a national party and expanding its platform, aiming to attract mainstream voters, especially Generation Z. However, this paper contends that such moderation is tactical rather than substantive; the party’s ideological core remains extreme, limiting its capacity to deliver sustainable governance. In the long run, the ONP may prove no more effective than the left it seeks to replace. Through a diachronic analysis, this study situates Australia’s far-right evolution within global patterns while highlighting its unique political trajectory
