    Research on Resources and Pathways for Building a Culture of the Rule of Law in Rural Revitalization in Western China

    The western region plays a crucial role in the rural revitalization strategy, where the construction of a rule of law culture is both a necessary requirement for cultural revitalization and an important guarantee for rural revival. The resources for building a rule of law culture in the western region can be categorized into general resources and endogenous resources. General resources are accessible to the western region as well as other areas in the rural revitalization process, while endogenous resources are derived from the region's unique historical and cultural background. The type of resources available for building a rule of law culture determines the implementation pathways. From the perspective of resource utilization, it is essential to leverage both general and endogenous resources under the leadership of the Party to ensure a sustainable rule of law culture construction that supports rural revitalization

    An Analysis of Selected Modern Chinese Essays in English Translation from the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics

    Prose occupies an important position in the development history of China’s culture. In today’s world of cultural exchange, we should not only absorb and learn from the advanced culture, but also focus on conveying the beauty and the essence of Chinese culture to the world. As a literary genre, prose is mainly divided into narrative prose and lyrical prose, which are shorter in length and full of emotions. In narrative prose, the author often conveys his inner thoughts and feelings through descriptions; in lyrical prose, the author often expresses his feelings directly. Most of the domestic and foreign studies focus on the translation of novels or poems, but less on the translation of prose. Therefore, based on the theory of translation aesthetics, this paper discusses Zhang Peiji’s English translated prose, The Selected Modern Chinese Essays, and analyses it in terms of the formal system (including sound, lexicon and syntax) and the non-formal system (including style, emotion and context)

    Variation in Species Diversity of Epilithic Bryophytes Along the Karst Rocky Desertification Gradient

    Karst rocky desertification is a distinctive landscape formed by the exposure of rock surfaces, where epilithic bryophytes dominate the plant communities. Despite their prevalence, these mosses have received relatively little attention, and the species diversity of lithophilous mosses remains inadequately understood. In this study, we conducted field collections and laboratory identifications of epilithic bryophytes across various karst habitats exhibiting different levels of rocky desertification, aiming to elucidate the patterns of species diversity within these environments. Our findings reveal a total of 47 moss species, belonging to 11 families and 28 genera, with species distribution patterns as follows: PRD (22 species) > MRD (18 species) > SRD (14 species) > NRD (12 species) > LRD (11 species). Notably, the PRD and MRD habitats harbor the highest number of endemic species, each with 8 endemic species, while the other three habitats each contain 5 endemic species. Among these, Eurohypnum leptothallum is a common species across all habitats and represents a dominant species in the karst region. Four distinct moss growth forms were identified in the study area, with proportions as follows: Wefts (75%) > Turfs (15%) > Pentants (8%) > Cushion (2%). The Wefts growth form is ubiquitous across all habitats and is the most prevalent, whereas the proportion of Pendants increases along the rocky desertification gradient, showing a higher degree of adaptation to more severely desertified environments. The α-diversity indices (richness index (R), Simpson index (D), Pielou index (E), and Shannon-Wiener index (H)) exhibit an "M"-shaped distribution along the desertification gradient, indicating the selective effects of desertification processes and the dynamic changes in species over time. The β-diversity index further suggests low species similarity between different habitats, with the similarity index (Cs) between NRD and SRD habitats being as low as 0.08, signifying substantial shifts in species composition. These results provide valuable insights into the changes in species diversity of lithophilous mosses along the rocky desertification gradient and enhance our understanding of the moss species diversity in karst rocky desertification areas

    This study explores the innovation in smart construction course groups driven by interdisciplinary integration, aiming to construct a smart construction course group centered on interdisciplinary fusion. Addressing the challenges in developing a smart construction curriculum system under the context of higher education and industry-academia collaboration, this study proposes breaking disciplinary boundaries and integrating civil engineering, automation technology, computer science, and other fields to establish a curriculum system tailored to the cultivation of new engineering talents. The findings indicate that the proposed course group significantly enhances students’ ability to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge, apply innovative practices, and collaborate effectively in teams within the field of smart construction. This research provides a systematic approach to curriculum design for smart construction education and offers theoretical support and practical insights for the promotion and application of interdisciplinary education models within the new engineering education framework

    Nowadays, Marine rivers are seriously polluted, and heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead, chromium and copper are absorbed by Marine freshwater organisms, seriously endangering human health. After boiling Marine river products such as scallop skirt into a concentrated liquid and adding sodium carbonate Na2CO3, most heavy metals will precipitate under strong alkaline conditions and be removed by filtration. But it doesn't work on tin Sn. Adding calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, the heavy metal forms a precipitate under strong alkaline conditions. It’s filtered out. Citric acid or calcium citrate are strong chelating agents that can form chelating precipitates with heavy metals and be removed by filtration. The combination of the above two is better. Filtration loss can be reduced if hydrolysis is performed first

Green Eurobonds have emerged as pivotal within the sustainable finance landscape, providing an avenue for nations to fund projects with profound ecological impact while attracting investment from Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)-oriented stakeholders. This study examines Uzbekistan’s inaugural issuance of green Eurobonds, a strategic advancement toward financing green infrastructure, fostering renewable energy, and addressing critical environmental challenges such as water scarcity and desertification. By aligning green Eurobond initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and commitments under the Paris Agreement, Uzbekistan demonstrates its dedication to a green economy transition, enhancing its appeal to global environmentally conscious investors. This research evaluates the transformative potential of green Eurobonds to bolster sustainable economic resilience, identifies the challenges intrinsic to their implementation in emerging markets, and offers strategic recommendations to optimize their impact on Uzbekistan’s sustainable development trajectory. The findings contribute to the discourse on sovereign green finance, emphasizing the essential role of green Eurobonds in shaping economic policies and supporting environmental sustainability in emerging economies

Translation of brand names is vital for companies to go international. A brilliant brand name translation can impress clients and customers and attract more customers, so as to increase the income of companies. Taking exhibitors from the canton fair as example, this research makes a classification of translation method for brand names, identifying 9 major translation methods. They are respectively Hanyu Pinyin, transliteration , literal translation , phonetic translation, semantic translation, combination of phonetic and semantic translation, renaming, abbreviation of Hanyu Pinyin, and combination of abbreviation and meaning. From the perspective of skopos theory, this research discusses conditions where certain translation methods can be applied
