Research on the Mechanism of the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Literacy on the English Learning Behavior Intention of Higher Vocational Students
The artificial intelligence technology has experienced explosive growth and has permeated into every corner of society, reshaping people's lifestyles, work patterns, and learning methods. This article conducts an in-depth examination of how the three core competence elements of higher vocational college students - artificial intelligence literacy and learning outcomes - influence the decision-making mechanism of students' intentions to adopt AI tools to assist in English learning in an educational environment where generative AI technology is developing rapidly. By constructing a multi-dimensional theoretical analysis framework, this study focuses on analyzing the paths of interaction between these three key variables and the AI-assisted learning behavior intentions. This study uses the questionnaire survey method to collect data and employs the structural equation model for empirical testing. The research findings reveal that intelligent knowledge, intelligent skills, and intelligent thinking in artificial intelligence literacy significantly positively influence students' intentions for English learning behavior, while intelligent assessment cannot affect students' English learning behavior intentions; learning outcomes play a significant mediating role between artificial intelligence literacy and behavior intentions. The research results indicate the importance of enhancing students' technical literacy in the context of the artificial intelligence era for promoting language learning, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for the reform of higher vocational English teaching. This study innovatively incorporates artificial intelligence literacy into the research field of language learning behavior, expanding the theoretical boundaries of educational technology application
A Study on the Belief in Wuxian and Related Issues in Three Surnames Village Northeastern Yunnan
Northeastern Yunnan is one of the regions in Yunnan with a relatively early historical development. The construction of the Wuchi Road strengthened the connection between Yunnan and the interior of China, also marking the beginning of large-scale migration from the interior to Yunnan. The completion of the eastern postal route accelerated the integration of Yunnan with the interior. Migrants from the interior brought their original folk beliefs with them. During the development and construction of villages in northeastern Yunnan, temples were also built. With historical development and social changes, the folk beliefs and clan structures within the villages also evolved. This study, based on an analysis of the Wuxian belief and clan changes in Three surnames Village, northeastern Yunnan, further explores the characteristics of the immigrant society in this region
Research on Pathways for Enhancing University Students' Digital Literacy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
With the continuous development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the landscape of higher education is undergoing significant transformation. This paper focuses on the core issue of cultivating college students' digital literacy, expounds on the value of fostering college students' digital literacy in the context of the AI era, and analyzes three major current predicaments: over-reliance on technology and dulled thinking, lack of resources and an inadequate curriculum system, and ethical misconduct and security risks. Furthermore, it systematically proposes comprehensive countermeasures, including the hierarchical restructuring of university curriculum systems, collaborative governance among multiple stakeholders, and the systematic enhancement of teachers' capabilities. The aim is to construct a multi-dimensional and full-chain ecosystem for digital literacy cultivation, thereby providing theoretical support and practical guidance for fostering college students' digital literacy
Research on the Cultural Communication Mechanism of Gansu Cross-border E-commerce from the Perspective of the Spirit of Rewi Alley
Guided by the spirit of Rewi Alley—embodying the core principles of “hands and mind together”, “international bridge”, “rootedness in the land”, and “truthful narrative”—this paper explores the cultural communication mechanism of Gansu’s cross-border e-commerce (CBEC). The study contends that Gansu’s distinctive local products, such as “Long medicine”, “Gan flavor”, and “Dunhuang cultural creative products”, provide a solid foundation for “narrating through objects”. By establishing a communication mechanism integrating “product empowerment, platform dialogue, localized narrative, and multi-agent co-narration”, Gansu’s CBEC can transform commodities into mediums for cultural narrative. To address internal challenges in logistics, branding, talent, and external risks like cultural discount, this paper proposes optimization paths centered on promoting the “craftsman spirit”, adhering to the “bridge spirit”, and upholding the “truth-seeking spirit”. These aim to facilitate the sector’s transition from “selling products” to “engaging in cross-cultural bidirectional communication”, offering insights for enhancing regional cross-cultural communication capacity
The Strength to Stand Firm: The Life and Activism of Civil Rights Heroine Angela Davis
The great Angela Davis was a hard-charging civil rights activist, who wasn’t afraid of speaking her mind and protesting for the freedom and human rights of Black Americans in the United States. Indeed, Davis can be considered a modern hero of the first order. In this respect, she contributed to the 1964 civil rights legislation that was put in place by a Democratic President, Lyndon B. Johnson, who was a former, white segregationist from Texas. This paper presents Davis’s life and works in a nutshell, as she fought, and continues to fight, the good fight against white supremacy. And inexorably, she has positively affected our society — at large — through every societal and political sectors. Davis was also able to use her charismatic charm to achieve her political and activist goals. In the final analysis, Angela Davis became one of the most important political and contemporary activist in modern American history

Persuasions in United Nations Climate Change Speeches
This paper examines the persuasive rhetoric used in political speeches at United Nations Climate Change Conferences. It addresses the significant global challenge of climate change and the pivotal role of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNCCC) and related events like the United Nations Climate Action Summit and World Earth Day in formulating policies and action plans through international cooperation. The study focuses on the rhetorical techniques employed in these speeches which not only enhance the persuasive impact of the speeches but also contribute to their artistic and expressive quality. Despite extensive research on political speeches within the UN context, there’s a noticeable research gap in examining persuasive rhetoric beyond the UN platform. This paper seeks to bridge this gap by providing a comprehensive analysis of persuasive rhetoric and discourse analysis in political speeches on climate change in various international and national contexts. The methodology includes a thorough review of related literature on rhetoric, communication, discourse analysis, and writing strategies. The study employs qualitative research methods, focusing on discourse and rhetorical analysis of speeches by world leaders from the seven continents at the United Nations Climate Change Conference. The research aims to understand the structures, key elements, and dominant rhetorical appeals used in these speeches. It also seeks to develop an instructional plan to enhance skills in writing persuasive texts, with significant implications for policymakers, communication specialists, and researchers in the field of climate change. In summary, this paper provides valuable insights into the persuasive strategies used in climate change speeches, offering guidance for effective communication and policy-making in addressing the challenges of climate change
Linguistic Analysis of the Chinese Network Neologisms “Xiaohaige”
New words on the Internet are closely related to social development, reflecting the changes of the times and the psychology of the masses. This paper is mainly guided by the metaphor theory of cognitive linguistics, and takes the new Internet word “Xiaohaige” derived from social hot spots as the main research content. The paper first uses the semantic component analysis method to obtain the distinguishing features between the new Internet words “Xiaohaige”, “Xiaohai” and “Ge”, and then obtains the grammatical and pragmatic differences between the three through syntactic analysis and context. The study found that “Xiaohai” and “Ge” will have semantic conflicts, but the two can be cleverly combined and form new meanings in the conflict, thus launching a metaphor analysis from a cognitive perspective
Philosophy’s 25-Years Principle: Philosophy between Intuitive Understanding and Discursive Reasoning
The present paper has two objectives. First, it explicates the story, initially portrayed by Eckart Förster, that philosophy allegedly started with publishing of Kant’s CPR and ended a quarter century later when Hegel’s Phenomenology of Mind appeared. We address the questions in what sense this happened and how is this development to be interpreted? Secondly, we demonstrate that similar radical transition from new, “true” beginning of philosophy to its apparent finishing took place in two other, high profile occasions in the history of Western philosophy, in two key points of its development: in the years 390-365 bc, between the early and the late Plato, and between 1898 and 1922, between Russell and Wittgenstein’s Tractatus. These three short-lived, spectacular transitions from philosophy’s alleged start to its alleged ultimate accomplishment give us good reason to speak about a specific 25-years principle in philosophy. In a peculiar way, this principle reveals philosophy’s true nature
The Conflict and Coordination between Intellectual Property Law and Human Rights Law in the Context of Globalization and Digitization
In the current era of digitalization and globalization, both intellectual property law and human rights law are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. In the process of constantly seeking the balance between the two, there are inevitably multiple conflicts, such as excessive protection of intellectual property rights that may limit the freedom of knowledge acquisition guaranteed by human rights law, and human rights demands that may also impact the exclusivity of intellectual property rights. It is necessary to explore ways to coordinate the conflicts between them in order to build a more harmonious and sustainable socio-economic and cultural environment. This article aims to analyze in depth the conflict manifestations and root causes of these two types of laws in the context of digitization and globalization, and actively explore feasible strategies for coordinating conflicts. By elaborating on the concepts and connotations of the two, analyzing their conflicts in multiple aspects such as balancing interests and acquiring knowledge resources, and exploring various strategies for coordinating conflicts in this new era environment, including the improvement of legal systems and the enhancement of public awareness of rights and interests, in order to promote the harmonious coexistence of the two under the legal framework of modern society and jointly promote social development
