Translation Strategies for AI Agreements from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence: A Case Study of ChatGPT
This research aims to deeply explore the translation strategies of artificial intelligence agreement texts from the perspective of functional equivalence, and conducts a detailed case analysis with ChatGPT as the research object. With the increasing global AI cooperation, such as OpenAI's API partnerships, the demand for AI agreement translation has increased sharply, but there are still many challenges in achieving accuracy and functional equivalence in the translation process. The research comprehensively uses the literature research method and case analysis method to deeply analyze the translation strategies of ChatGPT at the lexical, syntactic, and discourse levels. The study finds that ChatGPT performs well in the accurate translation of technical terms and other levels, but there is still much room for improvement in sentence structure adjustment and discourse coherence. Based on this, this research proposes improvement strategies such as algorithm optimization, corpus expansion, and human intervention, in order to provide solid theoretical and practical references for the development of AI agreement text translation, effectively improve translation quality, and promote exchanges and cooperation in the global AI field
The Reform and Exploration of the Integration of Artificial Intelligence into the Teaching of Public Finance under the OBE Concept
With the deepening of the construction of new liberal arts and the accelerated development of the scientific and technological revolution, the economy and society have put forward new requirements for the training objectives of financial talents. In order to cope with the shortcomings of the teaching process of “Public Finance” under the new situation, this paper systematically draws on the concept of outcome-based education (OBE) in western developed countries, deeply integrates artificial intelligence technology, and based on the fundamental task of “Lide Shuren”, explores and constructs a new teaching paradigm of “Public Finance + Artificial Intelligence” based on the concept of OBE. At the same time, a scientific teaching evaluation system and a dynamic feedback mechanism should be established to ensure the achievement of the goal of “Public Finance + science and technology” compound talents training. This paper not only provides a systematic solution for the innovation of the teaching mode of “Public Finance”, but also provides a theoretical reference and practical path for the reform of financial and economic courses in colleges and universities. It is of great significance to deepen the cultivation of compound talents under the background of “New Liberal Arts”
Beyond Banking Education: Interactive Approaches in University Lecture Practices
Many scholars suggest that interactive lectures allow educators to help students develop their critical thinking, knowledge application, and critical consciousness of social injustice. These skills are difficult to cultivate in the traditional didactic lectures, which are a pedagogical manifestation of the banking education concept. This exploratory research aims to explore the feasibility of implementing interactive lectures at universities. Conducting six interviews with instructors and undergraduates at one university. Utilising a thematic analytical approach uncovers three themes, which reflect several challenges to the implementation of interactive lectures. This study contributes to teaching practice by offering suggestions for implementing interactive lectures, including specific interactive teaching activities and factors that impact their implementation
Effects of Child Poverty on Child’s Learning Outcomes and Hours in Ghana: The Role of Ecological Zones
Purpose- This paper investigates the relationship between child poverty, child’s learning outcomes and hours in Ghana, emphasizing the moderating role of ecological zones in this relationship. Methodology- A cross-sectional descriptive research design is employed using secondary data from the Ghana Living Standards Survey (GLSS 6 and 7). The FosterGreer-Thorbecke (FGT) poverty measures and logistic and quantile regression techniques analyze the relationship between poverty, learning hours, and outcomes across ecological zones. Findings- The study finds that child poverty negatively influences learning hours and outcomes. Ecological zones moderate this relationship, with forest and savannah zones exhibiting more severe negative effects compared to coastal areas. Implications- These findings highlight the need for region-specific educational policies and interventions to mitigate the adverse effects of poverty. The study underscores the importance of addressing disparities in infrastructure, resource allocation, and educational access across ecological zones. Originality- This study uniquely models the moderating role of ecological zones, contributing to the literature on poverty and education. It offers empirical insights to inform targeted interventions and improve educational equity in Ghana.
Ideological and Political Education in English Teaching: Multimodal Discourse Construction of Positive Values
This paper explores the innovative approaches to deeply integrating ideological and political education into the teaching of translation theory. It takes the Skopos Theory of the German Functional School as the carrier of teaching content and constructs a multimodal teaching model centered on the multiliteracy pedagogy. The research design includes four cyclic stages: “real-scenario practice, explicit guidance, critical framing, and transformative practice”. Through comparative analysis of translation examples, theoretical study, and critical discussion, it guides students to deeply understand the social functions and cultural missions of translation. In teaching, students are required to complete academic English PPT presentations in groups, analyzing the external translation strategies of Chinese political documents and cultural concepts from the perspective of Skopos Theory, thereby organically unifying the learning of professional knowledge with the process of value internalization. This model not only cultivates students’ ability in theoretical application and academic expression but also strengthens their cultural awareness, translator ethics, and sense of responsibility to tell Chinese stories in a way that the world can understand. It provides an effective practical solution for professional courses to fulfill the goal of moral education and talent cultivation
Supply Chain Finance and Total Factor Productivity: Evidence from China’s Publicly Listed Companies
Supply chain finance plays a supporting function in the development of the real economy, and it is becoming increasingly significant to China's economic growth. Our empirical analysis utilizes a dataset of Chinese A-share listed companies spanning 2008 to 2023. To identify the causal relationship, we estimate a two-way fixed effects model to assess how supply chain finance influences firm-level total factor productivity and explore the potential mechanisms involved. The results indicate that supply chain finance can improve the total factor productivity of enterprises through two mechanisms: improving the efficiency of resource integration and reducing agency costs, and this relationship is still valid after endogenous processing and a series of robustness tests. The heterogeneity analysis reveals that supply chain finance has a more apparent impact on raising total factor productivity in the case of small enterprise scale, low financing constraint, low industry competition and strong supply chain integration. The findings have dual implications: they extend the literature on the drivers of enterprise total factor productivity, while also providing theoretical and practical insights for enhancing supply chain modernization and advancing high-quality development in both firms and the broader economy
Short-term Efficacy Observation of the Treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy with Tai Chi Massage Combined with Non-surgical Spinal Decompression System
Objective: To investigate the short-term therapeutic effects of Tai Chi–based massage combined with a non-surgical spinal decompression system (NSSDS) in patients with cervical radiculopathy. Methods: A total of 120 patients with cervical radiculopathy who were admitted to the Orthopedic Rehabilitation Ward of Taihe Hospital between June 2024 and June 2025 were enrolled and randomly allocated into either the control group or the combined group (n = 60 each). The control group received routine Tai Chi massage, whereas the combined group received NSSDS traction in addition to the same massage protocol. Changes in the visual analogue scale (VAS), Neck Disability Index (NDI), upper limb nerve tension test angle (ULNT), and cervical range of motion (ROM) were compared before and after treatment. The total clinical effectiveness rate was also calculated. SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical analysis. Paired t-tests were applied for within-group comparisons, independent-sample t-tests for between-group comparisons, and chi-square tests for categorical data. A p-value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Both groups demonstrated significant improvements in VAS, NDI, ULNT, and ROM following treatment (P < 0.001). Improvements were significantly greater in the combined group (P < 0.05). The reduction in VAS scores in the combined group was (4.82 ± 0.97), outperforming the control group (3.56 ± 1.05) (t = 6.21, P < 0.001). Greater reductions in NDI scores were also observed (t = 5.64, P < 0.001), while ULNT and ROM improvements were more pronounced (t = 4.33 and 3.88, respectively; both P < 0.001). The total effective rate in the combined group was 93.3%, significantly higher than 78.3% in the control group (χ² = 4.38, P = 0.036). Conclusion: Tai Chi massage combined with NSSDS traction significantly alleviates pain, enhances cervical mobility, and improves daily functional capacity in patients with cervical radiculopathy. Its short-term efficacy is superior to massage alone, and the approach demonstrates excellent safety
LLM-Empowered Social Support for Eating Disorders: A SEM-Based Correlational Study of Usage Behavior and Support Effectiveness
The global incidence rate of eating disorders is on the rise, and traditional prevention and treatment face issues such as uneven resource distribution and stigma. Large Language Models (LLMs) have emerged as a new carrier of social support for patients. Based on the Social Support Theory, this study employed structural equation modeling (with 134 valid questionnaires) and semi-structured interviews to explore the usage behavior and effects of LLM-supported social support. The results show that both usage motivation and usage intensity are significantly positively correlated with informational, emotional, and practical support (p<0.01), with motivation exerting a stronger influence. LLMs have prominent advantages in integrated information provision and round-the-clock emotional support, but their ability to connect with practical resources is insufficient. This study confirms the supplementary value of LLMs in the digital intervention of eating disorders and also points out their shortcomings in practical support.
On Translation Strategy of Culture-loaded Words from the Perspective of the Eco-translatology—A Case Study of the English Translation of The Story of the Stone
Culture-loaded words serve as vital carriers of cultural meaning and pose significant challenges in literary translation. This study investigates the English translation of The Story of the Stone by David Hawkes through the lens of Eco-translatology, focusing on the translation strategies employed for rendering culture-loaded terms. Guided by the three-dimensional transformation model—comprising linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions—the paper examines how Hawkes skillfully balances fidelity to the source text with adaptation to the target cultural context. Through detailed textual analysis, it reveals his flexible use of strategies such as transliteration, literal translation, free translation, annotation and transcreation. These choices reflect an ecological approach to translation, where the translator mediates between the source and target environments to achieve optimal communicative effect. This research deepens our understanding of the ecological nature of translation practice and offers valuable insights into the cross-cultural transmission of Chinese classical literature
On Literary Stylistics
Literary stylistics is a discipline mediating between linguistics and literary criticism. Its concern can be simply and broadly defined as thematically and artistically motivated verbal choices, which is a progression from linguistic form to literary significance or interpretation. This paper explicates the foregrounding theory and interpretative process
