Shadow Banking Activities of Non-Financial Enterprises and Corporate Risk-Taking in China: Evidence from the Perspective of Information Disclosure

    Get PDF
Based on the theoretical modelling of shadow banking's impact mechanism on corporate risk-taking behaviour, this study empirically investigates the relationship between shadow banking activities and corporate risk-taking using data from non-financial A-share listed companies during 2007-2022. The findings reveal that corporate engagement in shadow banking activities significantly increases their risk-taking levels, with this positive correlation being more pronounced in non-state-owned enterprises and regions with lower digital financial inclusion development. Furthermore, information disclosure quality effectively weakens the positive correlation between shadow banking and corporate risk-taking, indicating that companies with higher quality information disclosure significantly reduce their risk-taking levels associated with shadow banking activities. This study provides policy implications for government and regulatory authorities on mitigating excessive corporate participation in shadow banking activities

    Get PDF
Alumni resources refer to the sum total of various resources such as human, material, financial, informational, and cultural assets possessed by alumni groups. Alumni have extensive networks and information resources in different fields, including academia, business, and research institutions. They possess profound professional knowledge and rich practical experience, enabling them to bring cutting-edge industry trends and case studies back to their alma mater. This helps build a bridge for talent development between universities and higher education institutions, enhancing teaching quality. Just like the energy conversion model in photosynthesis, this process establishes a mutually beneficial ecosystem among universities, alumni, and students. It forms a virtuous cycle where alumni resources promote student development, student development drives university progress, and university progress boosts alumni growth

Integrating Maker Education into Primary Science: A Case Study of the "Ship Research" Curriculum with 3D Printing and Sensor Technology

    Get PDF
This study develops an interdisciplinary primary science curriculum—"Ship Research"—guided by maker education principles, integrating 3D printing, graphical programming (Scratch/Arduino), and sensor technologies (water level/obstacle avoidance). A "knowledge-practice-iteration" pedagogical framework was implemented through contextualized project-based learning, supported by a multidimensional evaluation system (self-assessment, peer review, and artifact evaluation). Post-intervention assessments revealed significant improvements: students' confidence in hands-on skills increased by 7.5%, interest in scientific inquiry rose by 10%, and collaborative problem-solving capabilities were enhanced. The findings demonstrate that maker curricula enhanced by digital tools effectively foster innovation competencies in elementary students, offering a replicable model for transforming science education through technology-enabled creative practices

Digital Finance Talent Reform in Vocational Undergraduate Education under Digital Transformation

    Get PDF
The rapid development of digital technologies such as big data, blockchain, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence is accelerating the transformation of the financial industry toward digitalization and intelligence. This shift has led to a growing demand for interdisciplinary talents who understand finance, possess digital literacy, and are capable of practical application. However, the current vocational undergraduate training system struggles to meet this demand due to outdated curricula, limited integration of technology, and weak industry–education collaboration. This paper analyzes the talent gap and structural challenges in digital finance education and proposes a reform path centered on optimizing professional positioning, reconstructing curriculum systems, enhancing multi-party collaboration, and building dual-teacher teams. The study aims to provide a practical model for cultivating high-level, application-oriented digital finance professionals, and to support the sustainable development of vocational education in the digital economy
