A influência dos atributos educacionais dos cursos profissionalizantes na empregabilidade
Full text linkEmployability is a constant concern within the academic and investigating the attributes for corporate area and has been undergoing constant transformation in recent decades. Studies show that only vocational training does not guarantee the insertion of professionals in the labor market. This article investigated whether and how the vocational training institutions contribute to increase the employability opportunities of the student, through the establishment of relations between Individual Competencies, Educational Marketing and Employability. The general objective of the article was to analyze the influence of the educational attributes of professional education institutions on employability, and the specific objectives were: a) To identify the attributes offered by the vocational courses; b) Determine students' perceptions of educational attributes; and c) Explain the relationship between educational attributes and employability. Descriptive quantitative research was used, and the data were collected through a questionnaire answered by students from a teaching institution located in Minas Gerais. The statistical treatment was based on the modeling of structural equations using PLS software. The main results showed that the Pedagogical Plan and the Extra Activities are able to positively influence the Employability, while the Faculty and Infrastructure did not prove important.corporativa e vem sofrendo mudanças constantes nas últimas décadas. Estudos mostram que apenas a formação profissional não garante a inserção de profissionais no mercado de trabalho. Este artigo investigou se e quanto as instituições de formação profissionalizante contribuem para aumentar as oportunidades de Empregabilidade do aluno, por meio do estabelecimento das relações entre as Competências Individuais, Marketing Educacional e Empregabilidade. O objetivo geral do artigo foi analisar a influência dos atributos educacionais das instituições de ensino profissional na empregabilidade, e os objetivos específicos foram: a) Identificar os atributos oferecidos pelos cursos profissionalizantes; b) Determinar as percepções dos alunos sobre os atributos educacionais; e c) Explicar a relação entre atributos educacionais e empregabilidade. Utilizou-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa descritiva, e os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário respondido por alunos de instituição de ensino localizada em Minas Gerais. O tratamento estatístico foi baseado em modelagem de equações estruturais, utilizando o software PLS. Os principais resultados mostraram que o Plano Pedagógico e as Atividades Extras são capazes de influenciar positivamente a Empregabilidade, enquanto o Corpo Docente e Infraestrutura não se mostraram importantes

Custos irrecuperáveis no processo decisório em micro e pequenas empresas
Full text linkThe present study aimed to investigate the decision making process based on sunk costs at micro and small enterprises from Paraíba, Brazil. Researchers analyzed whether the amount invested influences manager’s decisions, as well as factors quoted in the literature as mitigators of the sunk costs fallacy, the reputation of the managers and the financial constraint. The sample, by accessibility, was composed of 35 companies. A questionnaire was developed with six scenarios, according to the study goals, addressing only business contexts. For data analysis, we used descriptive statistics and the kriskal wallis, a non parametric test used to compare the research scenarios. The results showed that micro and small managers are not influenced by the Concorde effect, instead they react to the pro-rata effect, wich means that the bigger the investment, the less the probability of continuing to invest. We also find significant results regarding the financial constraint of companies, when they are more willing to invest in situations where there is no other way out than to continue investing.Este estudo investiga a tomada de decisões com base em custos irrecuperáveis em micro e pequenas empresas (MPE) do Estado da Paraíba. Analisamos se o montante investido influencia a decisão dos gestores, bem como fatores citados na literatura como mitigadores da falácia dos sunk costs, a reputação dos gestores e a restrição financeira. A amostra, por acessibilidade, foi composta por 35 empresas. Elaboramos um questionário com seis cenários de acordo com o objetivo da pesquisa, abordando apenas contextos empresariais. Para análise dos dados, utilizamos estatística descritiva e o teste de kruskal wallis – teste não paramétrico utilizado para comparar os cenários da pesquisa. Os resultados demonstraram que os micro e pequenos empresários não são influenciados pelo efeito Concorde, mas que, de forma oposta, reagem ao efeito pró-rata, ou seja, quanto maior o investimento, menor a probabilidade de continuar investindo. Também encontramos resultados significativos com relação a restrição financeira das empresas, em que elas estão mais dispostas a investir em situações que não há outra saída a não ser continuar investindo

Full text linkThe present qualitative study aims to discuss the institutional dialogue between the powers and the Federal Supreme Court from the amicus curiae institute. It uses the inductive method with support of bibliographic research and jurisprudential analysis. It brings, as a starting point, the practice of judicial activism consolidated in several judgments. After, it discusses the legitimacy of the court from a doctrinal referential. Finally, it points out in the amicus curiae an effective instrument of dialogue between the executive, the legislature and the judiciary.O presente estudo qualitativo tem como objetivo discutir o diálogo institucional entre os poderes e o Supremo Tribunal Federal a partir do instituto do amicus curiae. Utiliza do método indutivo com suporte de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise jurisprudencial. Traz, como ponto de partida, a prática do ativismo judicial consolidada em diversos julgados. Após, discute a legitimidade da corte a partir de referencial doutrinário. Por fim, aponta no amicus curiae um instrumento efetivador do diálogo entre executivo, legislativo e judiciário
