“Social media platforms, propaganda, and national security in Kosovo”
In recent years, social media platforms have become influential tools for communication, shaping public opinion, and mobilizing societal movements. However, they also present significant risks, particularly concerning propaganda and national security. This paper explores the impact of social media on Kosovo\u27s national security, focusing on how these platforms can be exploited for the dissemination of disinformation, propaganda, and destabilizing narratives by both state and non-state actors. The study examines key risks, including foreign influence operations, radicalization, and the spread of extremist ideologies. By analyzing recent case studies and trends, this research highlights the vulnerabilities posed by social media to Kosovo\u27s fragile political landscape. Furthermore, it discusses the 151 role of government agencies, civil society, and social media companies in mitigating these risks, while advocating for stronger regulatory frameworks and public awareness campaigns. The findings underscore the urgent need for coordinated efforts to safeguard national security against the evolving threats posed by the misuse of digital platforms

Newspapers Printed in Albanian Language in Kosovo and the News On Cultural Events
Considering the case of Albanian cultural news in Kosovo (Albanians in Kosovo constitute about 97% of the population), this paper discusses the inclusion of cultural news in written journalism. Until 2020, four daily newspapers in the Albanian language were published in Kosovo. As of 2020, no printed newspaper is operating. Therefore, we have considered two printed newspapers: Koha Ditore and Epoka e Re and we have presented culture-related news as a set of practices through which knowledge is obtained and cultural events are perceived. Empirically, we analyzed media coverage of culture in two newspapers published from 2000 to 2020. The newspapers were owned by private individuals and share the same market. From the quantitative analysis of the content, it appears that these two newspapers have also given the right place to news from culture. The way editors present cultural events differ in these two newspapers and each of them claims and justifies their knowledge of cultural events in Kosovo, in the region and in the world. The presentation of cultural news is more influenced by the difference between local and global journalistic perception, mainly through direct versus indirect access
Insights from Students On Chatgpt\u27s Impact and Use in English Academic Writing Courses a Case Study of Ubt English Language Program Students
This article explores the relationship between students\u27 motivation and perceptions regarding their use of ChatGPT as a writing aid in Academic Writing Course. Our findings reveal that students\u27 overall motivation to learn English does not significantly influence their use of ChatGPT, suggesting these aspects operate independently. Responses from the 80 participants varied widely: while some praised ChatGPT for its variety, speed, and accuracy, others expressed concerns about its limitations and the risk of over-dependence. Interestingly, higher levels of instrumental motivation were associated with more frequent use of ChatGPT, as students sought to achieve specific professional goals and overcome writing challenges. These insights provide a detailed understanding of how AI-driven writing tools are perceived in academic contexts, highlighting important considerations for teachers and students aiming to enhance their writing skills and motivation
Repository of Knowledge
This action research focuses on developing an innovative knowledge repository for the Field Technical Assistance Division (FTAD) of DepEd Region VII (RO7). The repository aims to streamline and enhance technical assistance mechanisms and processes for the 19 Schools Division Offices (SDOs). By providing a centralized digital platform, this initiative seeks to address challenges caused by disparate data storage systems such as Google Drive, email, and other platforms, which lead to inefficiencies in data retrieval and sharing. The study identified a key issue of fragmented data storage, making it difficult for users to access and utilize critical information. To solve this, the research proposes a one-stop website for FTAD stakeholders, including Regional and Division Technical Assistance Focal Persons, and School-Based Management Coordinators. Using systems thinking, the platform will integrate existing resources and enable easy access to technical assistance interventions, plans, notable practices, and monitoring tools. The ultimate goal is to foster better decision-making, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure the successful implementation of FTAD’s mandate across all SDOs. This innovation aligns with DepEd RO7’s strategic direction for Strengthening Management, Instructions, and Leadership for Excellence (SMILE) and contributes to efficient and responsive educational governance

Incorporating Hybrid Learning Strategies to Improve Teaching Methods in Higher Education Environments
Blended learning has emerged as a crucial global response to the varied needs of higher education institutions. This innovative approach combines traditional classroom methods with online elements, harnessing the benefits of both face-to-face instruction and digital learning. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which blended learning is integrated into the teaching practices of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Pakistan. Using a multi-methodological approach with an explanatory sequential design, the research focuses on educators from public universities through a comprehensive sampling process. Primary data collection tools, including questionnaires and interviews, reveal a positive attitude among teachers towards the integration of technology in education. Most educators are proficient in various software applications and have strong internet skills. However, the study also points out that universities are still in the early stages of awareness about blended learning implementation. The findings emphasize the need for coordinated efforts to enhance the adoption of blended learning, highlighting the crucial role of universities in providing additional technological infrastructure for smooth course delivery. The research calls for the explicit inclusion of blended learning in universities\u27 strategic plans to ensure thorough and well-defined integration
Employee satisfaction: The interaction of work-life balance and job performance
This paper investigates the relationship between job satisfaction, work-life balance, and work experience among employees in Kosovo. The study aims to determine how these variables interact and influence each other, contributing to overall employee well-being and organizational outcomes. Using quantitative research methods, data were collected from 150 participants through structured questionnaires, including the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and the Work-Life Balance Scale. The results indicate a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and work-life balance, suggesting that employees who achieve a better balance between their work and personal lives tend to experience higher levels of job satisfaction. Additionally, the study explores the impact of sociodemographic factors such as gender and age, finding limited influence on the main variables. These findings align with existing literature, emphasizing the critical role of work-life balance in enhancing employee satisfaction and organizational productivity. This paper contributes to existing literature and best practices and adds the context of the Western Balkans, specifically Kosovo. The paper concludes with recommendations for organizations to implement policies that support work-life balance, such as flexible working hours and remote work options, to foster a more satisfied and productive workforce. Future research should explore additional socio-demographic factors and use a more diverse sample to understand these relationships further
