“Alla maria” of Z. Ballata-modernism in a pianistic march
The topic titled as Alla marcia of Z. Ballata-modernism in a pianistc march në një marsh pianistic brings the results of a comprehensive analytical approach made on one of Zeqirja Ballata\u27s 14 piano works. Z. Ballata (1943) is an emblematic figure of Kosovar music in general, and of modern and postmodern music in particular. In his creative opus of about 160 works, there are also 14 piano works, of which in Alla Marcia this theme elaborates the means of expression. The research used qualitative method. Acording to the empirical corpus, the study is Case study. The purpose of the research was to argue the frequent classifications of Z. Ballata by musicologists and critics as a modern and postmodern composer, as well as to decipher the content of this work that should serve as an effective tool in the concretization process for performers and pianistic pedagogy. The object of analysis, in addition to the form and general historical data for the work, are also the musical parameters as: linear expression, consonant structures, rhythm and its components, dynamics, notation. In addition, the analysis goes further with the treatment of the aesthetic effect of synthesizing the analyzed musical parameters and comments on their interaction. In the paper as graphic means of argumentation notational fragments and tables were used

The Impact of the Plyometric Program on the Performance Level of the High Jump Technique
Aim: the purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the plyometric program on the performance level of the high jump technique, which is directed at improving the bases for the development of indicators of explosive power. Methods: the sample of the study included 220 male students from secondary schools of Fushë Kosovë (Kosovo), aged 16 years ± 6 months, academic year 2020/2021. The experimental group (110 male students) applied a 12-week program, the control group (110 male students) continued only with regular physical education lessons (2 times a week). In the study, data collection tools were as follows: Countermovement jump (CMJ), Standing broad jump (SBJ), Tipple standing jump (TSJ), Five-step standing jump (),10 Meters run (10mRUN), 20 Meters run (20mRUN), Plate tapping (PLT), Foot-tapping against the wall (FTAW), Sit-ups in 30 sec (SUP30s), High jump (scissors technique) (SCJ). Results: the study results show that the high jump technique in the final tests after the implementation of the program, unlike the initial one, showed an increase in the result F=658.221; Sig.=0.000 in the experimental group, in contrast to the control group, which did not show a significant result of the development of the high jump technique. This shows that the implementation of the experimental program has had a significant impact in the achievement of the specific goal, on the performance development of the high jump technique. Conclusion: in conclusion, in terms of general analysis of the results from our research, we have concluded that: the 12-week plyometric training programme has had a positive effect on improving all motor skills in connection with the high jump technique
Relationships between Levels of physical activity and selfefficacy in young school-aged children
Aim: Interactions with peers are vital for children\u27s overall development. These experiences help them learn to build and sustain friendships, handle conflicts, and express themselves effectively. Children who engage positively with their peers tend to develop strong social-emotional skills, achieve academic success, and enjoy better mental health. The goal of the research is to examine the relationship between physical activity and children\u27s self-efficacy in interactions with peers for difficult social situations that cause conflict, and the connection between physical activity and children\u27s self-efficacy in interactions with peers. Methods: The sample was comprised of 147 children aged 9 and 10 (79 boys and 68 girls). Children’s Self-Efficacy in Peer Interactions (CSPI) and Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) were used. Internal consistency of the CSPI was evaluated using Cronbach\u27s alpha and high values for subscales were obtained (α\u3e.90). Based on the PAQ-C, the children were divided into groups of children who were insufficiently, moderately, and very physically active. Results: Results showed statistically significant differences in self-efficacy between insufficiently, moderately, and very physically active groups, favoring the latest one (F = 3.14; df = 2; p = .046). Children\u27s self-efficacy and physical activity were significantly correlated (r=.171, p\u3c0.05) which indicates that as the level of physical activity increases, so does self-efficacy. Conclusion: The motivation and encouragement to overcome difficult tasks is the key to the development of higher self-efficacy in children. That achievement crucially depends on the support of the teachers and coaches by focusing on strengths, not on weaknesses, and emphasizing the importance of effort
Relationships between physical fitness and observed weekly levels of physical activity of the children aged 9 and 10 years
Aim: insufficient physical activity has become a growing problem among the overall population, especially among children. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the weekly level of physical activity with the physical fitness of younger school-age children. Methods: the study involved 52 children aged 9 and 10 years. President’s Challenge battery was used, containing pull-ups, curl-ups, V-sit reach, and shuttle run. Subscapular, abdominal, triceps, and thigh skinfold thickness was also taken. Physical activity level was obtained using an adapted version of the PAQ-C (The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children). Results: The results revealed that 17.31% of the children were obese and 11.54% were overweight. It was also determined that 52% and 48% of the subjects belong to low and high-level, PA groups, respectively. The differences between the groups were found in thigh skinfold (p=.008) and marginally in BMI (p=.054) but not in the motor tests. Research revealed only a weak to moderate association between weekly PA level and physical fitness. Conclusion: Physical fitness of younger school-age children from current sample is not affected by level of PA because children involvement in PA is not sufficient
TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP IN HORROR CINEMA
Fear is a natural emotion that exists in every moment of the lives of humans and other living beings, from birth to death. Although it manifests in different ages, cultures, and forms, it has become a part of life by influencing people\u27s development processes. Horror cinema has become a vast industry by visualizing the feeling of fear that individuals experience throughout their lives. Although the story and characters are prioritized in horror films, special effects makeup plays a crucial role in creating these characters effectively. The art of special effects makeup is as old as cinema itself. In the early years of cinema, special effects makeup was done by hand, later incorporating prosthetic materials. Today, both traditional hand-made special effects makeup and computer-aided makeup are used together. This situation has sparked debates about which method is more effective. In the scope of the research, a survey was conducted with 1000 participants to measure the perception of special effects makeup in horror cinema. According to the survey results, 92.2% of the participants stated that makeup is very important in horror films; 27.4% wanted to see wound and burn makeup; and 26.9% wanted to see blood-effect makeup. Additionally, 51.5% of the participants believed that handmade makeup always looks better and more realistic, and 65.4% of the participants indicated that computer-aided makeup cannot replace traditional makeup. According to the survey results, 61.9% of the participants found the makeup in American horror films to be more successful, and 46.1% preferred watching American horror films
Determination of vitamin C in fresh fruit juice
L-ascorbic acid, commonly known as vitamin C, is a water-soluble nutrient essential for human health, and since humans cannot synthesize it endogenously, it must be obtained from dietary sources. Fruits and vegetables are the primary dietary sources of vitamin C, and fruit byproducts, such as juices, are often consumed as an alternative. The objective of this study was to measure and compare the vitamin C content in various commercially available fruit juices and their raw fruit equivalents. Using the Pearson method, the vitamin C concentration was analyzed across eight juice samples at the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (IKSHPK). Among these, the multifruti juice, composed of tropical fruits like oranges, grapefruits, and mandarins, contained the highest concentration of vitamin C at 299.20 mg/L. These findings suggest that fruit juices, particularly multivitamin varieties, can serve as a comparable source of vitamin C to raw fruits, making them a valuable dietary option
Practices and Preferences of Kosovo Citizens Regarding the Consumption of Safe Yogurt
Yogurt is a popular dairy product known worldwide, not only for its unique texture and flavor but also for its health benefits. The purpose of this study is to investigate the practices and preferences of Kosovo citizens regarding the consumption of safe yogurt. This study utilized a quantitative methodology with a cross-sectional design. A total of 516 Kosovo citizens aged 18-65 participated in the study, comprising 308 (59.7%) males and 208 (40.3%) females. Among the participants, 36% reported consuming yogurt daily, while 45.7% consumed yogurt 2-3 times a week. Furthermore, 43.8% of participants stated that they consume yogurt more during the spring/summer season. Regarding the reasons for purchasing yogurt in a particular market, the majority of participants agreed that safety, affordable pricing, the option to choose desired quantities in various packaging, country of origin, local origin, nutritional values, taste, clear labeling of production/expiration dates, ingredient declarations, and availability in local markets were important factors (p\u3c 0.05). Most consumers indicated that yogurt should not have a sour taste (61%), bitter taste (94%), burnt taste (96%), unpleasant aroma (93%), expired shelf life (94%), physical damage to packaging (85%), or swollen packaging (95%) (p\u3c 0.05). Notably, 50% of Kosovo consumers view supermarkets as the safest place to purchase yogurt. Based on the findings, we conclude that the Kosovo consumer frequently incorporates yogurt into their daily routine, has an accurate perception of yogurt safety, and prioritizes product safety as the primary reason for purchasing yogurt in the market
Genetic and Psychiatric Molecular Analysis in Speech Delay Syndrome
The work in is a special genetic case and the goal is to know the type of mutation, the genesis of this hitherto unknown case. This study included a population of 9000 individuals in the northern part of Macedonia. During the family interviews, we came across the case of a boy who had speech impediments, aggressive behavior and small deformities in the size of his nose, ears and face. The 5year-old male had slurred voices, not formulating meaningful words that were unclear. Summary- First EEG and genetic analyzes were done. The case at the age of 2 correctly emphasized words such as nana, grandfather, grandmother, but then lost the words. From the questionnaire, they stated that the grandmother\u27s loud voice created stress in the child and they have been living in another region for 3 years, but the changes are very small in speech. Methods and analyses-From targeted genetic analysis such as massively parallel sequencing (Next Generation Sequencing, NGS) in exons of up to 99% of protein-coding genes (Whole Exome Sequencing, WES) for new sequencing with 6000 sequenc- ers. Bioinformatic analyzes for sequencer mapping of fragments as a reference for variants are processed based on Hg19 versions in the human genome reference. Sequencing and analysis were performed at the accredited reference laboratory - CeGaT GmbH, Tubingen, Germany. Annotation, filtering and classification of variant detection, according to ACMG evidence were implement- ed using several databases and tools (ClinVar, HGMD, ddSNP, AD genome, UniPort, Franklin Genoox). Detailed analyzes of different genes as classified variants as well as pathogenic changes based on the ClinVar database and changes in nonsense, frameshift, inframe, splice sequences as well as star/stop codon with mutation, which with frequency global is less than 5%. Conclusions- PCR amplification of exon 21 from the MED12 gene and direct sequencing with BigDye, sequence terminator and gel are according to the Sanger method and analysis on the automatic analyzer ABI-PRISM 3500. The results show that the MED12 gene is located on the X chromosome and encodes the so-called protein intermediate complex with subunit 12 and is part of the group of about 25 types of proteins that form the protein complex with genetic regulatory function. The MED12 pro- tein is involved in many aspects during early development, such as in nerve cells (neurons) in the brain (Medlineplus: MED12). Pathogenic variants in the MED12 gene are responsible for MED12 associated with disordered development of the nervous sys- tem, of which the group causes disease and is linked to the sex chromosome X. Linked defects for the MED12 gene present phe- notypes in the FG-type syndrome (FGS1), X-linked Lujan syndrome (LS)
Digestive Tract Enzymes (Amylase, Lipase and Protease)
Introduction: Enzymes are natural proteins that function as catalysts during many different biological reactions within the cells of the human body. Digestion is the process of breaking down and absorbing food and is aided by fluids containing digestive en- zymes secreted by the salivary glands, pancreas and acid produced in the stomach. Working method: 77 patients of different age groups were included in the research, of which 45 were in the study group and 32 were in the control group. All the patients were from the Dukagjini Region, the samples were collected for a period of 6 months, the analyzes were done with Roche-Cobas Integra 400 and Cobas-Elecsys E-411 devices in the Alpha Laboratory in Pejë. Results: In our work, we obtained significantly high values of amylase and lipase enzyme concentrations (P \u3c 0.0001) between the patients of the working group and the control group. Conclusions: Lipase is, today, preferred as a test over amylase due to a higher sensitivity, especially in cases of acute pancreatitis due to the use of alcohol and hypertriglyceridemia. It also tends to remain elevated longer than amylase, making it more reliable for analysis because its values persist for more than 24 hours. It is also recommended that in the future research be done on a higher number of patients to verify our results
