The state of the portals and the internal organization of an online medium in Kosovo. Do you know who owns the portals in Kosovo, and why is media ownership important?

    No full text
The topic that I have chosen to address is the state of online media, their organization, and in particular, the issue of portal ownership in Kosovo. I have taken this very seriously because it belongs to this field, and I know it well, or at least I try to understand it. I will address all professional, ethical, and organizational circumstances related to and around Kosovar portals. When the first online journalism initiatives began in Kosovo, new innovative ideas began to emerge, to make a portal as beautiful as possible in terms of color. In this paper of mine, the many dilemmas and confusions that arise from the internal organization of a portal, the financial side, and the issue of online media ownership in Kosovo will be addressed. Of all these doubts, undoubtedly essential, for a portal continues to be professional and educational preparation, in the general field of journalism. It may be the director of the medium without a journalism faculty, but it would be anachronistic if the editor-in-chief and editorial staff do not consist of 90 percent of journalists. It is important. that each portal in its imprint, makes public its founder, and the editorial team which is then forwarded with all the internal rules, which includes the code of ethics and its editorial concept. And it is quite normal, that in all this hesitation, the online media should be more transparent in their professional and ethical functioning, but also in the sense of transparency and legality. Who owns the main portals, who are the financiers, who are the editors, and so on, there is still a lack of them, for the public to know and know. Online media and its owners. must show an act of courage in their walks and not run away not to hide behind fictitious names. Still in Kosovo, there are portals that work unregistered anywhere and this is extremely worrying. Why is media ownership so important and does it affect the editorial policy of the medium? The answer is that it affects, even a lot, all the more so in Kosovo and the region, where the professional mentality remains hostage to the boss or manager

The Neuroscientific Dental Validation of the Leadership Competency Model DRENICA

    No full text
The Leadership Competency Model Drenica, established by Çitaku and Ramadani in 2020, outlines 25 key competencies essential for effective leadership. This study investigates the neuroscientific underpinnings of these competencies, offering a novel framework that bridges leadership theory and neuroscience. Through an extensive literature review, neural mechanisms linked to decision-making, communication, empathy, and continuous learning were identified, validating the model. Key findings include the role of prefrontal cortex activity and neurotransmitter systems (dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin) in decision-making, empathy, and collaboration. Neuroplasticity, crucial for adaptability and learning, was also highlighted, underscoring the model’s practical relevance to dynamic organizational environments. By aligning leadership development with these neuroscientific principles, organizations can foster innovation, inclusivity, and overall success. This research paves the way for Neuroleadership, a paradigm that utilizes neuroscience to optimize leadership effectiveness, equipping leaders to inspire, motivate, and drive positive organizational change

Anatomy of the Tooth Apex and Trends in Achieving the Ideal Length of Root Canal Filling

    No full text
Studies on the anatomy and morphology of the apical part of the tooth root canal present a significant area of interest and challenge for endodontists. Research indicates that the position of the apical constriction, apical foramen, and the cementdentin border varies from tooth to tooth. These anatomical reference points are considered as boundaries for the instrumentation and obturation of the root canal. Achieving an optimal working length is essential for successful root canal treatment, and reaching or failing to reach any of these reference points is associated with specific risks and benefits. Clinically, the positions of the apical constriction and apical foramen can be detected, while the cement-dentin border poses a challenge as it represents a histological boundary that cannot be clinically identified. The radiographic apex does not always coincide with the anatomical apex of the tooth. Analyzing radiographic data prior to endodontic treatment, along with literature data obtained through other examination methods, should be considered when determining working length. Most researchers agree that a filling border 2-3 mm below the radiographic apex is associated with favorable treatment outcomes. Our studies focus on analyzing literature data and our findings regarding the success of reaching the apical constriction using either warm or cold gutta-percha obturation techniques

Challenges in identifying and assessing the severity of temporomandibular joint disorder

    No full text
Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) represent a heterogeneous group of pathologies with multifactorial etiology affecting the TMJ, masticatory muscles, or both, impacting patients\u27 orofacial health and reducing their quality of life. It is generally accepted that the etiology of TMD is multifactorial, related to a range of dental and medical conditions, including occlusal changes, postural alignment, parafunctional habits, restorative treatments, orthodontic treatments, emotional stress, trauma, disk anatomy, muscle pathophysiology, genetic and psychosocial conditions, as well as age and gender. In our daily practice, we often encounter difficulties in identifying and managing TMD due to the lack of standardized criteria for assessment. The aim of this presentation is to discuss and share knowledge regarding the mechanisms and methods that facilitate the identification of symptoms caused by TMD. Therefore, a primary challenge is to create a measurement instrument, such as questionnaires, that simplifies the standardization of the diagnostic process for these disorders, thus avoiding unnecessary delays in diagnosis and enabling better management of TMD while reducing the socio-economic costs for patients

Brezovica, a well-known winter tourist destination in Kosovo, is the subject of this study. The skiing area is located in the slopes of the Sharri National Park, encompassing a territory of 39,000 hectares with alpine mountainous terrain and forests with a rich variety of flora and fauna. Although known for its clean air, in some cases, warm African air masses bring Saharan dust, particularly during the spring and summer seasons. The analyses were conducted based on standard monitoring data to assess the level of pollution in an area where there are no anthropogenic factors that could contribute to air quality degradation. Parameters measured during the study include SO2, CO, NO2, O3, PM10, and PM2.5, expressed in μg/m3, and for CO in mg/m3, always based on the 2008/50/EC directive for ambient air quality and Law No. 08/L-025 for air pollution protection. The results have shown an increase in PM10 and PM 2.5 levels during periods when there were warm air masses originating from Africa or the Sahara

    No full text
In this scientific-analytical study, we are talking about the geography and variety of genres that many Albanian singers and instrumentalists have recorded in the Odeon music club, which was founded in Germany in 1903. This article also talks about the educational-artistic levels. of the recorders of these songs and dances where, amateur singers who, what is the truth, dominate, there are also many singers educated in various well-known European centers, such as: Rome, Milan, Vienna, Graz, Montpellier, Paris, etc. . in the years 1921-1936 well-known names of Albanian music, including Mihal Ciko, Tonin Guraziu, Jorgji Filçe-Truja, Tefta Tashko-Koço, Marije Paluca-Kraja, Nafiz Tela, Kristo Koço, Kristaq Antoniu, Sotir Kosmo, Nestor H. Marrioti, Gjyzepina Kosturi, Pjetër Dungu, Lola Aleksi-Gjoka, etc. By making recordings of traditional civic folk songs on discs, these personalities made the Albanian song and music part of the millions of recordings from around the world and part of an advanced industry of the time, even more so when the recordings in Cilindra wax were current and usable alongside Shellac and Vinyl disc recordings. Of course, the number of amateur singers and instrumentalists dominated convincingly, but the singers and instrumentalists who made these recordings were simply virtuosos who basically knew the spirit of the people, which they described through sounds. In fact, this truth has made the competent people choose for recording exactly these songs, these creations and these instrumentalists who convinced with their playing and interpretation
