The Effects of Construction on Subterranean Water: A Case Study of Lipjan Urban Region
This study investigated the influence of construction on groundwater in the urban region of Lipjan, which has experienced a considerable increase in construction activities in recent years. The objective of this study was to analyze and evaluate the consequences of these activities on the quality and quantity of groundwater, with an emphasis on their potential impacts on the water resources used by the local population. Utilizing a methodology that encompasses the examination of data collected from previous research, field measurements, and hydrological modeling, this study assesses changes in the water level and quality of Lipjan aquifers. This study identifies various construction-related impacts, such as lowering of the groundwater level, changes in water composition, potential pollution from construction materials, and changes in soil permeability. The results of this study demonstrate that construction activities have a significant impact on groundwater in Lipjan, including reducing the aquifer level and contaminating the water quality. This study underscores the importance of implementing sustainable land and water management practices to safeguard these resources. In conclusion, this study offers recommendations for groundwater management policies and practices in Lipjan, suggesting enhancements in construction and resource protection strategies. These recommendations are crucial for promoting sustainable development and ensuring the provision of water resources to local populations
The importance of gypsum in the process of hydration of cement
Gypsum plays an essential role in the cement bonding process of hydration of cement, acting as a setting time regulator. In the construction industry, Portland cement, which is the most commonly used, tends to strengthen very quickly after mixing with water, making it difficult to manipulate and shape. By adding small amounts of gypsum to the mix, the setting time is extended, allowing to work with the material for a longer period of time. This also regulates the exothermic reaction, avoiding possible cracks and damages in the built structures. In addition, gypsum contributes to improving the overall quality of the cement, providing a smoother and more durable surface. Through this controlled process, gypsum helps meet the required standards for safety and durability in construction

Determinants of Financial Inclusion
Financial inclusion is a fundamental aspect of economic growth and development, encompassing the use of formal financial services such as bank accounts, credit, and insurance. Despite the progress in expanding access to these services, significant barriers remain that prevent many individuals and communities from benefiting fully from financial inclusion. This study investigates the determinants of financial inclusion across European countries, offering a broad perspective that includes various types of financial institutions, including traditional banking and other financial services. The research aims to understand how different macroeconomic factors influence financial inclusion within diverse European contexts. At the macroeconomic level, the study employs a two-stage Heckman Selection model to analyse how variables such as GDP per capita, banking costs, regulatory frameworks, and the structure of financial institutions impact the accessibility of financial services. In addition to macroeconomic factors, the study employs a probit model to explore individual-level determinants of financial inclusion. This model evaluates how personal characteristics, such as gender, income level, and geographic location, influence an individual’s ability to access and utilize financial services. The study’s preliminary findings reveal disparities in financial inclusion, with particular challenges faced by women and residents of rural areas. Women, in many cases, experience lower levels of financial inclusion compared to men, which can be attributed to a range of factors including socioeconomic barriers, cultural norms, and discriminatory practices. Rural populations also face significant obstacles, such as limited access to physical banking infrastructure and higher transaction costs, which can hinder their ability to engage with formal financial systems. These findings underscore the need for targeted policies and interventions to address the barriers to financial inclusion. Policies aimed at improving financial literacy, expanding access to financial services in underserved areas, and addressing gender disparities can play a crucial role in enhancing financial inclusion. The research also highlights the importance of considering the diverse landscape of financial institutions, from traditional banks to alternative financial service providers, in designing effective strategies to promote inclusive financial system

Implications of Covid-19 pandemic on online consumer behavior
This research paper aims to analyze and deconstruct the consumer behaviors shifted from traditional to online shopping in Kosovo as a transition economy following the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The study used a structured questionnaire that was randomly distributed using social media to collect the primary data and collected a sample of 162 responses from participants in Kosovo, using google forms as an online survey tool. The data analysis concludes with frequency tables, charts, and the Chi-square test. In addition, the hypotheses were tested using the one sample T-test. To conduct the results, the SPSS program is used. The study concludes that there has been an increase in online purchases during the COVID-19 pandemic and that is related due to the fear of being infected whilst shopping physically in the stores. Protection of ownership according to applicable legislation in Kosovo
In Kosovo, protection of ownership is one of the most important and very sensitiveissues. During the political developments of the last decades, ownership as a legal institution and the right to ownership as a fundamental right have been the target and goal of various violations, from the period of its total infringement, in situations of its limitations, the taking of the right of ownership with and without compensation, up to new forms which determine the ways defined by law for acquisition and losing the right of ownership. Therefore, protection of ownership according to applicable legislation in Kosovo is a topic that deserves to be approached and referred to, because the provision of legal certainty to the holders of the ownership rights constitutesthe protection of fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and by international documents. As such, the right of ownership, the forms of acquisition, loss and especially the protection of the ownership rights and their treatment is necessary when considering the period that Kosovo is going through, the challenges for the creation of new legislation covering the ownership rights and in accordance with EU legislation
The procedure of impeachment of the president in Kosovo and Albania: A Comparative Constitutional Approach
In government systems where branches and powers are separated and balanced (check and balance), impeachment is an instrument of the Parliament for blaming (accusing) the head of state. Initiation of the guilt procedure for violation of the Constitution by the president is rarely put into practice. However, this happens due to the fact that the systems are built in such a way that the guilt procedure initiated by the legislator must necessarily be verified or rejected by the Constitutional Court. This made the presidents stable and influential political actors of the constitutional system. The impeachment procedure against the president is a constitutional process with political effects. The paper deals with the constitutional procedures of raising the impeachment against the president. The approach of dealing with this problem is comparative and constitutional. The research includes the interpretation of constitutional provisions and special cases of the Constitutional Court of guilt as against the president in Kosovo and Albania. The methodology used in this paper is the mixed method and the method of comparative analysis. Case studies common elements and differences between them. The findings from the research reflect the different specifics of the procedures for raising the responsibility of the president in Kosovo and Albania and the procedure for dismissing the president from office in the two countries. In Albania, the president\u27s mandate ends immediately after the verdict of the constitutional court as violation of the Constitution, while in Kosovo, apart from the verdict of the Constitutional Court for violation of the constitution, the Assembly can dismiss the president with two-thirds (2/3) of the votes of all deputies
