Orthodontic Treatment of Tooth Transposition
Tooth transposition is the positional exchange between two adjacent teeth on the same side of the jaw. Various types of dental transposition exist, and their classification depends on the position and type of the involved teeth. This presentation aims to discuss the prevalence of tooth transposition, its etiology, orthodontic treatment planning, applied orthodontic appliances, and the implications of various factors that may lead to complications during the correction of transposed teeth. Careful attention must be given to the individual patient\u27s situation, including aesthetics, function, periodontal status, and patient cooperation, to determine whether orthodontic treatment should involve extraction or correction of the transposed teeth. Correcting tooth transposition is one of the most challenging types of treatment, requiring accurate diagnosis, precise execution of biomechanics, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Branding and Visual Identity of Restaurants in Kosovo: An Emphasis on Logo Design
This paper explores the branding and visual identity approaches adopted by active restaurants in Kosovo, with a particular focus on how logos contribute to brand identity and shape consumer perceptions. The research consists of visual analysis of restaurant logos from different regions of Kosovo, examining aspects such as the use of colors, typography, symbols,and general design aesthetics. In addition, the research reveals statistics on the participation of restaurants with their brands on social networks, highlighting the importance of brand presence. By integrating concepts from brand theory and graphic design, the paper situates its findings within the broader field of visual identity management. It highlights the critical role of logo design in building brand equity and fostering customer loyalty, especially in the face of market competition
Knee Injuries in Basketball
Aim: Understanding the complex anatomy of the knee is essential to understanding the mechanisms of injuries is high, especially in sports such as basketball. Methods: The paper is a literature review. The collection of literature was carried out using searches in scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Sage, ResearchGate, Scopus. The search was conducted in English, including specific terms such as: basketball , knee anatomy , knee injury , basketball knee injuries , sports injury prevention strategies , lower extremities injuries in basketball , risk factors of knee injuries and the like. Research includes an in-depth analysis and a reasoned interpretation of the selected literature in accordance with APA style standards. Results: Based on the analyzed research, the most important factor is gender. Women (0.20) have a higher risk of knee injuries compared to men (0.07). An important factor is also the basketball position, female players in the wing positions had ACL surgeries (17.4%) unlike to the players of the guard positions (15.6%) or the center positions (8.6%). Also, the neuromuscular training program has reduced the knee injury rate in young basketball players by 36% with p=0.01 significance. Conclusions: Gender, basketball position, age, rapid uncontrolled landings are factors that lead to knee injuries in basketball players, as well as neuromuscular training programs have an important effect in preventing the risk of knee injurie
Can Elite Football Players Maintain Jump Performance from the Preparation Phase Through the Competition Phase?
Aim: this study aims to analyze the transfer of jump performance from the preparatory to the competition phase in elite football players. It also proposes a plyometric training program and general conditioning plan to maintain or enhance jump performance during the competition phase. Methods: key performance parameters, such as height, weight, lever length, and leg length, were collected using My Jump 3. Participants performed Countermovement Jumps (CMJ), Squat Jumps (SJ), and Abalakov Jumps, recorded with an iPhone 13 Pro at 240 frames per second. Data on force, flight time, speed, and power were analyzed, and statistical evaluations were conducted using SPSS 26, applying Shapiro-Wilks tests for normality and Repeated Measures ANOVA to assess test differences. Results: results showed statistically significant improvements in CMJ performance after the preparatory phase (p\u3c0.05), but no significant changes during the competition phase, where performance declined (p\u3e0.05). Similar trends were observed in strength, power, and flight time, suggesting improvements after the preparatory phase are primarily due to technique, while the competition phase shows a decrease in performance. Conclusion: training should therefore focus on optimizing technique, increasing muscle elasticity, and enhancing mobility to improve jump efficiency and maintain performance throughout the seaso

Albanian viticulture view in the context of climate change
Climate change is a well-known issue in today\u27s world, including within Albanian territories. This study aims to highlight the importance of proactive decision-making among farmers and policymakers through a detailed analysis using key viticulture zoning and variety distribution indices. By examining bioclimatic indices such as the Winkler and Huglin indices, alongside precipitation patterns during the coolest months, this study provides crucial insights into the spatial and temporal distribution of climatic conditions. The objective is to assess how these agroclimatic resources align with the bio-climatic requirements of grape cultivation. Current climate conditions now offer a broader potential area for viticulture compared to conditions thirty or more years ago. This expansion presents grape growers and wine producers with greater opportunities to select optimal combinations of agricultural land and climate conditions for new viticulture projects, thereby enhancing grape production. Successful wine production hinges on the compatibility of longstanding land suitability and the variability of meteorological and climate conditions, which fluctuate not only seasonally but also over the years. The growth and development of Vitis vinifera L. grapevines are significantly influenced by these meteorological parameters and their temporal fluctuations. Georeferenced maps based on Winkler and Huglin indices were generated to delineate homogeneous zones and assess climate variability across Albania using data from stations of National Meteorological Monitoring Sytem. The study employed regression-kriging (RK) interpolation and Digital Elevation Models for specialized analysis. Overall, this research identifies an increase in both minimum and maximum air temperatures throughout Albania. It also reveals shifts in the Huglin classification zones compared to previous years, indicating higher temperatures that could lead to increased thermal stress for grapes. Addressing these adverse conditions may necessitate relocating vineyards to higher zones, latitudes, or areas with more favorable climatic conditions
Effect of metals on Polyphenol Oxidase enzyme activity from Salix alba
Heavy metals are one of the main factors causing environmental pollution. They have toxic effects on plants and animals even in small concentrations. However, some metals act as cofactors in many enzymes in living systems. These metals are of great importance for enzymes to work actively. Metals such as zinc, iron, copper and magnesium play an important role for the activity of enzymes in the structure of plants. However, heavy metals inhibit or slow down the enzymes that play an active role in the organism of living organisms and prevent the functioning of the biochemical reactions they catalyze. Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) enzyme is a metalloenzyme found in the plant world. This enzyme catalyses browning reactions. In the food industry, PPO enzyme causes browning reactions in fruits and vegetables and this is a major problem. In this study, PPO enzyme was purified and characterised from Salix alba leaves and the effects of some metals were investigated. The results showed that Salix alba PPO enzyme was found to be resistant to metals especially at 0.5 and 1 mM concentration. Fe+3 and Cu+2 metal ions inhibited the enzyme by 90% at 5 mM in the reaction medium. Mn+2 and Cd+2 ions inhibited the enzyme by 60% at 5 mM in the reaction medium, while Al+3 ion inhibited the enzyme by 75% at 5 mM concentration. Pb+2 metal ion completely inhibited the enzyme at 5 mM concentration. In the studies on the effect of metal ions, K+ and Na+ ions were found to have a minimal effect on enzyme activity. The results showed that metals had the strongest inhibitory effect on PPO activity. Except Na and K metals, other heavy metals were found to significantly inhibit PPO enzyme
Description of Cases Subjected to the In-Vitro Fertilization Procedure
In the era we are living in, the number of couples who have problems with infertility is increasing, this is due to the postponement of the first birth from young and middle ages, the use of various toxins in the daily materials we consume and many other factors. One of the most revolutionary discoveries in modern medicine, specifically in the reproductive aspect, is in- vitro fertilization (IVF). IVF means the technology of fertilization of oocytes and spermatozoa outside the human body and is a method that is applied worldwide, significantly contributing to successful pregnancies. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors that influence infertility, to understand the age groups with this problem, to classify the percentage of positive and negative cases and the factors that can influence these results. Material and methods: This work was developed in a private clinic that offers IVF services in Pristina. Patient reports and protocols were used for the study and presented in the study as empirical data. Permission to access the data has been obtained in advance from the Executive Director of the Clinic Results: Our findings show us that based on the age of patients with infertility problems, grouping into four different groups can be applied: 25 to 29 years old, 30 to 39 years old and 40 to 45 years old, the type of primary infertility dominates for three times rather than secondary infertility. In the gender classification as the main factor of infertility are women with 50%, and the main female factor is tubal problems, further the results of hysterosalpingographic findings show us that 14% of patients had blocked tubes, this factor where IVF is indisputable. From the results of vaginal smears, 41% of the samples were positive, of these 41 samples, 24% were positive with the combination of ureaplasma and mycoplasma. Patients with thyroid problems were 21% and each of them was treated with adequate therapy based on TSH values. In the end, the classification of the duration of the stimulation showed us that with a greater percentage of about 27% women participate where the stimulation lasts 9 days for them. Conclusions: Based on the results of the paper on in-vitro fertilization (IVF), it was found that the ages of 35-39 years have a higher probability of infertility, with primary infertility dominating three times more than secondary. Although identifying the dominant factor in infertility is challenging, nearly half of the patients identified as having an infertility factor were female, with problems such as tubal structure and significant ovarian reserve. Furthermore, it is observed that sexually transmitted infections also affect the success of IVF procedures. In conclusion, it is recommended that couples be informed about their health status and consider the possibility of ovarian donation to address infertility problems in Kosovo
Treatment of osteoarthritis through physiotherapy: A narrative review
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent joint disease and a leading cause of disability in older adults. The condition affects women more than men, and the risk of developing OA increases with age. Other risk factors include past joint in- jury and obesity. The treatment aims to decrease the presenting symptoms of the disease, slowing its progress. Various treatment options are available for the treatment of OA that includes physiotherapy and medications, biological surgical procedures.
