School Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses Fund Liquidation: Basis for Recommendation
No full textSchool Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) allocation is the fund used to support the operations of schools. This study examined the timeliness and transparency of school MOOE fund liquidation in one of the school divisions in the Philippines. A mixed explanatory research design was used with the aid of a survey questionnaire, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) to a random sample of school heads and teachers. Results showed that for 2018-2019, only 2 of the 115 schools were able to submit their liquidation reports on time for 12 consecutive months. The primary reasons for the delayed submission were the multiple tasks and overlapping activities of school heads, followed by insufficient time to transact business with suppliers and the distance of schools to suppliers. Most of the teachers generally Agree that their school heads practiced transparency about MOOE fund liquidation. At £ =0.05, there was a correlation between the timeliness of fund liquidation and the transparency practices of school heads. Recommendations are herein propose
The Interplay of Emotional Intelligence, Socio-Economic Background, and Academic Performance in Kosovo Students
No full textThis study explores the levels of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and its relationship with Socio-Economic Status (SES) and Academic Achievement (AA) among undergraduate students. While prior research has shown a fundamental link between EI and certain SES factors, there is limited understanding of how a broader range of SES variables might impact students\u27 EI. Furthermore, in the specific cultural context of Kosovo, the relationships among EI, SES, and AA remain unclear. The study involved 165 undergraduates from three academic fields—Psychology, English Language, and Medical Studies—at the University for Business and Technology (UBT) in Prishtina, Kosovo. To measure EI, the researchers used the WLEIS scale, while AA was assessed using self-reported overall grade point average (GPA), and SES was measured through a questionnaire. The results showed significant differences in EI levels between students of different study domains, academic years, and family backgrounds, as well as between students with and without learning differences. However, no significant correlation was found between academic achievement and EI levels. These findings offer valuable insights for developing educational strategies to enhance EI among undergraduate students
Advanced Statistical Analysis of The Development Tendency of Mortality from Malignant Neoplasms and the Lifestyle of Patients Sick from Malignant Neoplasms in R. N. Macedonia
No full textThe primary goals of this research are: to determine the development tendency of mortality from malignant neoplasms in R. N. Macedonia and to determine the impact of diet and lifestyle on the appearance and development of malignant neoplasms. The analysis of the dynamics of mortality from malignant neoplasms in R.N. Macedonia used data obtained from the Institute for Public Health of R.N. Macedonia on the mortality rate from malignant neoplasms in 20102021. To determine the impact of diet and lifestyle on the appearance and development of malignant neoplasms, an online survey was conducted on 217 respondents diagnosed with cancer (201 women and 16 men) aged 20 to 70 years. The following statistical methods of work are used: linear trend, relative numbers, and arithmetic mean. The results of the study indicate that the mortality rate from malignant neoplasms in R. N. Macedonia shows a growing tendency. The average score for the lifestyle of the subjects diagnosed with cancer who were included in the study is 7.91 and is generally poor. It means that the respondents must seriously think about some of their habits (53% of them have increased body weight, consume very little whole grains, snack between meals, often go to bed late, smoke, etc.) that destroy their health and vitality. From this study, it can be concluded that changes in diet and life habits are crucial in preventing and treating malignant neoplasm

Depending on the health status of the patient, medical history and dental history a team of professionals must conduct the final decision on whether dental implants will be placed with attachments and overdenture or with fixed prosthetic constructions. The diagnosis, prognosis and follow up of the patients are conducted with the help of clinical and paraclinical examinations combined with the digital denta tools. No full textA range of problems affecting the masticatory muscles, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and related structures are together referred to as temporomandibular disorder (TMD). (15). Several signs and symptoms, including chronic pain, soreness in the jaw muscles, headaches, bruxism, tenderness upon palpation, a limited range of jaw movement, and clicking or creaking sounds coming from the temporomandibular joint make up the etiological background of temporomandibular joint disorder. Several types of arthritis, dental issues, occlusal disharmony, autoimmune disorders, hormonal factors, psychological factors, stress, anxiety, trauma and microtrauma, and mandibular instability are only a few of the numerous causes. The ability of the stomatognathic system to adapt may be inhibited by several variables, such as sleep difficulties and physical, mental, and occlusal stress, which increases the likelihood that the disorder may manifest. ( 15) The most frequent cause of persistent pain in the orofacial area, which is the main contributor to pain that is not caused by a tooth, is temporomandibular dysfunction. ( 2,35). TMD affects up to 25% of the population, according to research on the study of disease transmission. Internal derangement, also known as misalignment of the TMJ plate, is a component of TMD in up to 70% of cases. Despite the lack of a clear beginning, links between internal derangement and osteoarthritic alterations have been identified. Due to each TMD case\u27s unique and nuanced nature, a thorough evaluation that includes multiple symptomatic modalities is necessary for a conclusion. Similar to how each patient has unique needs, the treatment also requires individualized programs. ( 41 ). Due to the TMJ\u27s mechanically demanding and biochemically active environment, therapeutic approaches that can restore joint functionality while adjusting to joint modifications are now necessary. One such method, tissue designing, has tremendous promise for developing fix-and-substitution tissues suitable for mix and variation in the TMJ. Cyber smart grid system for efficient energy systems.

Renewable systems require different applied ICT programming algo- rithms along with different smart grid microcontrollers to be able to control sys- tems and attain proper outcomes from what is to be expected. This is where mal- ware does come into account. It has happened several times, that different grid systems were hacked and this disrupted the power systems. The use of intercon- necting cyber smart grid systems with an independent energy system is one mode of interaction that will help us attain the minimum required expected outcome of class results that would be useful for proper implementation and regulation of all the systematic approaches that would be applied in a case if a malware attack occurs. Different worldwide institutions would be required to have such applied systems in order to be able to define our approach and prevent certain cyber- attacks. Increased feed rates result in coarser finishes due to greater distances between the cutting tool\u27s contact points, whereas lower feed rates yield smoother surfaces. The study also explores how variations in feed rate can affect machining stability, leading to issues such as vibration, tool engagement challenges, and excessive heat generation. By defining and monitoring Rsm, manufacturers can optimize key machining parameters, including feed rate, cutting speed, and depth of cut. Decisions can be made intuitively or on the basis of reasoning and arguments, or on the basis of a combination of both. Today, decision-making is related to the processes of socioeconomic development and is distinguished by the behaviors that individuals or entities aim to achieve by making the right decision through policies and strategies that meet their needs and expectations.
