Leadership and Organizational Culture as Catalysts of Innovation and Business Sustainability
This paper examines how leadership and organizational culture jointly stimulate innovation and promote business sustainability, focusing on enterprises in Kosovo. Adopting a qualitative methodology, data were gathered from twelve firms across diverse sectors through open-ended questionnaires and analyzed thematically. The study identifies three dominant dimensions: leadership-driven innovation for efficiency and transformation, culture-based creativity and learning, and innovation as a collective pathway to sustainable growth. Findings demonstrate that transformational and inclusive leadership encourages experimentation, collaboration, and psychological safety, while innovation-oriented cultures reinforce adaptability and resilience. Furthermore, open innovation through partnerships with universities and external stakeholders enhances knowledge exchange and sustainable outcomes. The paper concludes that visionary leadership, supported by a learning-centered culture, forms a strategic foundation for long-term competitiveness and sustainability in emerging economies
Bone Ring Technique
Tooth extraction is accompanied by vertical reduction of the alveolar ridge as a result of the bone atrophy. In cases where we are dealing with the upper jaw, changes in alveolar bone dimensions can also be accompanied by pneumatization of the maxillary sinus. These changes are even more often after the extraction of the maxillary first and second molars, and especially after the extraction of two or more teeth in a row in the distal maxillary region. Different techniques and materials are used to provide adequate bone support for dental implants in these cases. In the presented case, the autogenous bone ring(bone ring technique) transplantation technique ,and immediate placement of the implant in the same surgical session was applied
Physicochemical and Biological Evaluation of Aque-duct Water in Kosovo
The study analyzes the water quality of aqueducts in Drenas, Prishtina, Lipjan, and Shtime, Kosovo, in June and August 2024. The parameters assessed include physicochemical properties like color, turbidity, pH, free chlorine, chlorides, conductivity, and metal ions (Fe²⁺, Mn²⁺, Al), alongside biological indicators such as coliform bacteria. The results indicate that most parameters are within acceptable limits, reflecting overall good water quality. However, variations were noted: Prishtina\u27s low chlorine levels may pose microbial risks, and the increased chlorides and conductivity in Lipjan suggest the impact of urban runoff or industrial activities. Seasonal shifts, especially during August, influenced the concentration of certain contaminants, emphasizing the need for adaptive management strategies. Regular monitoring and targeted interventions are recommended to maintain and improve water safety across these regions
Director-Dramaturg and Director-Actor Relationship in Theatre
The research object in this paper is the symbiotic relationship between the stage director and the playwright, as well as the stage director and the actor in the theater. The genesis of theater, has its roots in religion and ritual. Since the Antiquity, the actresses through their stage appearances, has introduced the world of gods and people, shoëing different dilemmas, but not offering solutions for them. Debates on society, presented through theatrical works, in front of the public, in different periods of time, are still debatable. Theatrical art, stage art, uses the ëord and body language to convey the message to the public. This is a message that in certain periods of time has been the forerunner of great changes in society. Theater as an extremely complex art.. This study will examine the relationship between the director and the playwright (text selection, filtering ...) and the importance of sustainable collaboration between them. Also, the relationship between the director and the actor (working with actors, their selection, work on the table, mise-en-scène, until finalization and presentation to the public) will be examined in order to achieve artistic objectives in the form of genuine work-performance. But also the relationship between the stage director and other actors: the scenographer, the costume designer, the lighter, the musician, etc. Numerous authors have dealt with the theoretical issues of theatrical art in different periods of time. The Impact of Structured Debates on Developing Speaking Proficiency in English Language Learners: A Case Study with 2nd Year Students in the Course of English Language Skills 4
This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of debates as a pedagogical tool in English language education. This study investigates the impact of structured debates on developing speaking proficiency in English language learners, specifically focusing on second-year students enrolled in the course English Language Skills 4. Utilizing the Lincoln-Douglas format, the research examines how debates enhance fluency, accuracy, and linguistic complexity in speaking and not only. Data collection methods included direct observation during the debates and analysis of reflection letters written by the students post-debate. These reflection letters provided insights into the students\u27 perceptions of how participating in the debate affected their speaking skills and overall language proficiency. According to the results, this also encouraged 21st century skills like: critical thinking, team spirit, research skills, creativity and so on. To add up, a comparison has been made between students’ overall performance in this course pre-debate and post-debate, and the results show that their overall interest for the course as well as their self-confidence increased after the debate
Development of a vehicle auction system using .net core and next.js
This paper focuses on the development of a robust online auction platform for vehicles using .NET Core and Next.js, aimed at increasing efficiency and easing access to the car buying and selling process. The platform is designed to facilitate seamless online auctions where users can easily create and modify bids. Buyers will be able to search for and filter vehicles based on a wide range of preferences, such as make, model, year, and price range, and they will be able to view highresolution, detailed images of the vehicles. One of the key challenges addressed by this platform is the issue of transparency, as the online nature of the auction means that buyers cannot physically inspect the vehicles. This challenge is critical for maintaining trust in the auction process. The study explores the impact of such online platforms on the traditional car market, focusing particularly on how they influence buyer behavior, market trends, and the overall efficiency of vehicle transactions. To gain a comprehensive understanding of how online vehicle auctions affect the market, this research will take a multidimensional approach. It will analyze user feedback to capture their experiences and concerns, and it will examine real-world data from existing auction platforms to identify trends and patterns. By focusing on these practical aspects, the study aims to highlight both strengths and areas for improvement in online vehicle auctions. The insights gathered will lead to actionable recommendations for enhancing transparency and trust, ultimately contributing to the development of more reliable online platforms for users
Comparative Analysis of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies in Software Development
This work presents a comparative analysis of Agile and Waterfall methodologies in software development, focusing on efficiency, cost, flexibility, risk management, client feedback, teamwork, and adaptability to project requirement changes. Utilizing existing software solutions and extensive literature, this study aims to provide actionable insights and conclusive results. It is crucial to note that methodology choice is not influenced by the programming language but rather by project complexity. To better understand how these methodologies impact project management, each will be briefly outlined. Agile emphasizes continuous collaboration with clients, adaptability to changing requirements, and frequent deliveries, allowing for rapid feedback. Conversely, Waterfall follows a linear model, where each development phase must be completed before the next begins, offering a more structured approach for projects with well-defined requirements, culminating in a single delivery. Findings indicate that Agile is more suited for dynamic environments, while Waterfall is preferable for well-defined projects. In recent years, Agile has gained significant traction, comprising approximately 70% of the software development market, while Waterfall and hybrid methodologies account for around 30%. This comparison aims to assist software engineers and project managers in selecting the most suitable methodology based on project requirements and constraint
Sensitivity of Asphalt Pavements to Extreme Weather Conditions
Asphalt pavements constructed in warmer climates are more prone to rutting, whereas pavements in colder climates are more susceptible to cracking. Pavement mixtures should be designed not only to handle the high stresses exerted by wheel loads but also to withstand thermal stresses caused by extreme weather conditions. For heavy-duty pavements, it is crucial that both coarse and fine aggregate particles meet quality characteristics related to shape, texture, durability, and absorption. The selection of the asphalt binder for mixture design is equally important. The choice of high and low performance grades of asphalt binder primarily depends on the project’s location. For example, in Kosovo, temperatures vary significantly across seasons, requiring paved roads to withstand these fluctuations. Therefore, the use of additives and modifiers is essential to adjust the properties of the asphalt binder. Particularly for heavy-duty pavements, a modified binder should be used to increase mixture stiffness at high temperatures to resist permanent deformation, while also maintaining resistance to cracking at low temperatures. Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technology offers transformative potential for healthcare by addressing challenges in data management, security, and operational efficiency. AI enhances diagnostic accuracy, enables personalized treatments, and supports predictive analytics, improving clinical decision-making and allowing healthcare professionals to focus more on patient care. Meanwhile, Blockchain ensures data integrity, transparency, and security through a decentralized and immutable health record ledger, reducing data breaches and fraud risks. Together, AI and Blockchain can lower operational costs, streamline healthcare processes, and improve patient outcomes by securely managing sensitive medical data. This paper examines their combined applications in electronic health records (EHRs), medical data sharing, clinical trials, and supply chain management. However, implementing these technologies presents challenges, including regulatory compliance, data privacy concerns, interoperability issues, and the need for large-scale infrastructure upgrades. Ultimately, integrating AI and Blockchain creates an opportunity to transform healthcare systems into more efficient, secure, and patient-centric ecosystems while fostering innovation and improving care quality
Service Oriented Design: Achieving Scalability in Microservice Based Systems Using gRPC and Message Broker
In the rapidly moving landscape of software architecture, microservices have emerged as one of the core strategies for developing scalable and resilient systems. This study aims at practical implementation and evaluation of microservices using .NET technologies. Two different microservices are to be set up with their integration, and the communications is made using RabbitMQ and gRPC protocols. The whole procedure of testing the entire components has been done in the Kubernetes cluster with the help of Postman application. The research begins with an in-depth analysis of microservice architecture, advantages, and challenges in scalable and resilient realization. After that, it proceeds with the explanation for the development of two microservices using the .NET framework and further describes their deployment into a Kubernetes cluster. The reason for choosing this environment as ground for deployment is due to its robust orchestration and management possibilities regarding dynamic scaling and fault tolerance in microservice ecosystems. The primary areas of study are going to be containerization using Docker and giving the ability to package and run services uniformly on diverse environments with proper usage of RabbitMQ and gRPC in service communication. The best practices on designing patterns of services, deployment strategies, and performance monitoring of a Kubernetes cluster. This paper documents the development process, deployment strategies, and integration techniques applied to clearly present how service-oriented design principles are put into practice. Results will help to understand how to develop scalable and reliable microservicebased systems using current tools and frameworks in modern software engineering
