Estrategias de eficiencia en la conservación de lo construido en los espacios naturales protegidos. La experiencia de Doñana
Get PDFIt is remarkable the amount of buildings that have existed and still exist in Doñana. These constructions, which are very diverse, are examples of the local identity. Some have been lost, but others are in a process of degradation that raises the question of building conservation in a unique natural environment. In this paper, the available information on the current state of the Doñana built heritage is compiled, updated and completed. The geographical distribution structure of the buildings’ locations is also analyzed. This study verifies how these buildings have evolved throughout the park history to the condition we see now, how they have been useful to their inhabitants in this environment, how they have performed their roles of sheltering and protecting men, and how they could face the future using the same strategies they have developed to survive until our day.Es notable la cantidad de edificaciones que han existido y existen en Doñana. Estas construcciones, muy diversas, exponen la identidad del lugar. Han desaparecido algunas de ellas; otras se hallan en un proceso de degradación que nos hace plantearnos la cuestión de la conservación de lo construido en un medio natural singular. En el presente trabajo, se recopila, actualiza y completa la información disponible sobre el estado actual del patrimonio edificado de Doñana y se analiza la estructura de implantación de las edificaciones. Se comprueba cómo ha evolucionado la edificación en el Parque a lo largo de la historia, en qué estado ha llegado hasta nuestros días, cómo ha servido al hombre de este entorno, de qué manera ha desempeñado sus funciones básicas de cobijo y protección del hombre y cómo podrían afrontar su futuro, en torno a las mismas estrategias de eficiencia que las han hecho sobrevivir hasta hoy

Get PDFThis article discusses poverty in relation to time and gender. Firstly, it explains the theoretical assumptions on the topic of time poverty, and the differences between time deficit and time deprivation. Secondly, it describes the impact of policies of structural adjustment; in the dedication to unpaid domestic work, by decreasing the state’s role and the declining of household incomes. Third, the labor market situation in relation to flexibility of working time and working hours is contemplated; it shows how the atypical employment produces time deprivation and subtracts autonomy on own time. Finally, it explains some contributions dealing with the wealth in time and quality of time, his dimensions and the necessary articulation of different social times.En el presente artículo se trata la pobreza en relación con el tiempo y el género. En primer lugar, se describen los argumentos que acreditan la situación de pobreza de tiempo y se delimitan los conceptos que la diferencian de otros como el déficit de tiempo o la privación de tiempo. En segundo lugar, se analiza el impacto que las políticas de ajuste estructural están teniendo sobre la dedicación al trabajo no remunerado, por la menguante labor del Estado y por la caída de ingresos en las familias. En tercer lugar, se contempla la situación del mercado laboral en relación con la ampliación de los tiempos de trabajo, así como con la flexibilidad impuesta; se observa cómo los empleos atípicos producen privación de tiempo y restan autonomía sobre el tiempo propio. Por último, se recogen algunas aportaciones que tratan sobre la riqueza y/o la cualidad del tiempo, sus dimensiones y la necesaria articulación de los distintos tiempos sociales
La afasia en los testimonios de conversión súbita
Get PDFBy means of the comparative philological and phenomenological studies of the autobiographical testimonies of Paul Claudel, Manuel García Morente and André Frossard, we inquire into aphasia, an incapacity to talk compared with theophany and the difficulty, when the time comes, to communicate this in a testimonial setting. By comparing this to the mystic tradition, we explore the taxonomy of the ineffable fact in the corpus, as well as the linguistic and narrative possibilities. The aim is to analyse the features and implications of the language when it has to communicate the inexpressible, in this case, one-time appearance of the deity, considering the mystic implications involved.Mediante el estudio comparativo filológico y fenomenológico de los testimonios autógrafos de conversión súbita de Paul Claudel, Manuel García Morente y André Frossard, se pretende indagar en la afasia, entendida como incapacidad de hablar frente a la teofanía y la dificultad de comunicar está en un marco testimonial. En comparación con la tradición mística, se hará un recorrido por la taxonomía de lo inefable en el corpus y se observarán sus posibilidades lingüísticas y narrativas. Get PDFThe labor market’s transformations have led to the diversification of working time. The temporal patterns that guided the life course are eroding: uncertainty is installed in the lives. Young people who are in the last stage of the transition from youth to adulthood are suffering this reality particularly hard. The expectations that they built in the past clash with their present. Through the analysis of twenty-four in-depth interviews we analyze how uncertainty impacts on young people’s lives and what effects it has on them. The data produced in the fieldwork show us that both the level of impact, as the consequences of uncertainty, are different for young people in the standardized lifecycle sequence and for those who have dropped it out.Las transformaciones del mercado laboral han provocado la diversificación de los tiempos de trabajo. Las pautas temporales que guiaban el transcurso vital se erosionan: la incertidumbre se instala en las vidas. Los jóvenes que se encuentran en la última etapa de la transición a la edad adulta sufren con especial crudeza esta situación. Las expectativas que construyeron en el pasado chocan con su presente. A través del análisis de veinticuatro entrevistas en profundidad, estudiamos de qué manera impacta la incertidumbre sobre estos jóvenes y qué efectos tiene sobre sus vidas. Los datos producidos en el trabajo de campo nos muestran que tanto el nivel de impacto, como las consecuencias de la incertidumbre, son diferentes en los jóvenes que siguen la secuencia del ciclo vital estandarizado y en quienes la han abandonado

Get PDFThis paper reviews arguments for and against voluntary and direct participation of the public in the funding of cultural activities. The starting point is that financing schemes implemented by cultural policies bear ethical implications aside from their instrumental aims. Using A. Sen’s comparative approach, it is discussed whether crowdfunding and other investment instruments for cultural consumers are forms of citizen patronage worthwhile from an ethical point of view. In spite of accusations of paternalism and commoditization of the cultural life, citizen patronage is argued to be a social innovation that encourages social responsibility of cultural consumers. Accordingly, cultural policies should take into account that private behaviors concerning consumption and investment are also ways of getting involved in social life.El artículo revisa los argumentos a favor y en contra de que el público financie directa y voluntariamente la actividad cultural. Se parte de que los mecanismos de financiación elegidos por las políticas culturales tienen una dimensión ética y no solo una finalidad instrumental. Utilizando el enfoque comparativo propuesto por A. Sen, se investiga si el micro-mecenazgo (crowdfunding) y otras formas de inversión por parte de los consumidores culturales constituyen formas de mecenazgo ciudadano valiosas desde un punto de vista ético. A pesar de que las políticas culturales a favor del micro-mecenazgo pueden ser acusadas de paternalistas o de mercantilizar la vida cultural, se defiende que el mecenazgo ciudadano es una innovación social que fomenta la responsabilidad social de los consumidores culturales. En tal sentido las políticas culturales deben tener en cuenta que el comportamiento privado de consumo e inversión también es una forma de participación en la vida social

Guanajuato, «Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad». ¿Oportunidad o desafío para el turismo sostenible?
Get PDFThe city of Guanajuato was recognized in 1988 as a World Heritage Site. Since then, tourism has become the greatest financial resource for the inhabitants. However, the large number of visitors creates traffic problems, rising prices and an increase in the amount of rubbish owing to the physical characteristics of the site and its population structure. To reduce these inconveniences, it is necessary to consider issues related to sustainable tourism. This should stimulate local development, and take action to safeguard the heritage of the city and prevent its decline. This paper describes the origin of the city, and problems affecting the local population and the sustainability of its tourism.La ciudad de Guanajuato fue reconocida en 1988 como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. A partir de este momento el turismo se ha convertido en la actividad que produce mayores recursos económicos para sus habitantes. Debido a las características físicas del lugar, a la estructura de su población y al gran número de visitantes se generan problemas de tránsito, escasez de insumos, aumento de precios y exceso de basura. Para reducir estos inconvenientes, es necesario considerar aspectos relacionados con el turismo sostenible, a fin de estimular el desarrollo local y tomar medidas para salvaguardar el patrimonio de la ciudad evitando su deterioro. En este trabajo se describe el origen de la ciudad y los problemas que afectan a la población local y a la sostenibilidad de su turismo
