The Role of Islamic Banking Through Green Investment in Increasing Economic Growth in Indonesia
Research Aims: This study aims to explore how much potential Islamic banks in Indonesia have in contributing through environmental improvement.
Methodology: This research uses the literature review method which is then supported by descriptive analysis.
Research Findings: The research shows that Indonesia has great potential regarding green economic opportunities, which in turn can contribute greatly to national economic growth.
Theoretical Contribution : The increasing trend in the green economy index in Indonesia and its correlation with progressive economic indicators contribute theoretically by suggesting that a green economy can coexist with economic growth
Research limitation and implication: This research has limitations, one of which is only finding out how the role of Islamic banking in Indonesia in participating in protecting the environment. as for the factors discussed in this study are also limited, namely only looking at the green investment or green financing of Islamic banks
The Effect of Work Stress on Work Deviant Behavior Case Study: CV. Madinna Dome Ambassador through Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable
Research Aims: This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress on work deviant behavior case studies in CV. Duta Madinna Kubah through Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable.
Methodology: This study used a sample of 95 respondents who were determined by the sampling technique with the census method. In this study, using data analysis techniques, namely Path Analysis (path analysis). The analytical tool used in this study using SPSS software.
Research Findings: The results of this study indicate that the variable job stress has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on work deviant behavior, job stress has a significant positive effect on work deviant behavior, job stress has a significant effect on work deviant behavior, which is mediated by the variable job satisfaction.
Theoretical Contribution: This research advances theoretical understanding by revealing the complex interaction among work stress, job satisfaction, and deviant work behavior, providing valuable insights for academics and practitioners in the field of organizational psychology and management.
Implication: Organizations can implement training programs to equip employees and managers with effective stress management strategies. Additionally, organizational development efforts can include initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and foster a positive work culture
Behavioral Finance: Hippocrates Personality and Behavioral of Islamic Finance on Investment Decision Gen Z
This study aims to analyze Hippocrates\u27 personality and an investor\u27s financial behavior in making investment decisions. A quantitative research design was used to test the research hypotheses. The respondents consisted of Muslim students from universities in Bandung who belong to the category of Generation Z. The data analysis technique used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) AMOS. The Hippocrates personality has a significant effect on financial behavior, and financial behavior has a significant effect on investment decisions. However, the Hippocrates personality does not have a significant effect on investment decisions. The findings of this research indicate that financial behavior needs to be improved by applying Sharia financial concepts so that it can support investment activities that are in line with Sharia principles. Personality Hippocrates emphasized choosing investments that are in line with the student\u27s personality characteristics. This personality type is more inclined towards the behavior of calculating the appropriate risks and benefits of the investments made. The novelty of this research is demonstrated by the Islamic financial perspective which examines the relationship between Hippocrates\u27 personality and financial behavior on investment decision-making. The expected implication is that Islamic finance can increase investment by knowing the Hippocratic personality type and financial behavior among Gen Z Muslims.
Originality/Value: The originality of this research is found in studying personality types according to Hippocrates (129-200 BC) and the perspective of Islamic Finance in making investment decisions
Improving Sharia Financial Literacy in Indonesia on A Digital Basis with the Introduction of the Sharia Non-Bank Finance Industry (Iknb) and Its Instruments
The Islamic non-bank financial industry has experienced significant growth in recent years. In the context of an increasingly complex modern economy, this industry has played an important role in facilitating financial activities that comply with sharia principles. This journal aims to contribute to existing knowledge by presenting research papers, case studies, and theoretical discussions relating to the non-bank Islamic finance industry, while the purpose of the service is to increase public literacy towards Sharia IKNB. The method used in carrying out this community service activity is semi-structured and discussion, which includes material using short videos uploaded on social media with a discussion model in the form of asking questions and statements through the comment’s column. That way the results obtained from this service activity are the participant\u27s literacy level towards IKNB and Sharia IKNB indicating that on average new participants understand the concept of Sharia IKNB
The Use of Social Media in Improving Investment Literacy in Islamic Mutual Funds
Reksadana Syariah are a forum for raising public funds which are managed by a legal entity called an Investment Manager, to then be invested in securities such as: stocks, bonds and money market instruments in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic sharia, including a portfolio of fund placements. in Islamic financial instruments such as Islamic stocks and sukuk. Islamic mutual funds can only invest in financial securities that are in accordance with sharia rules and principles, and of course they are still bound by investment restrictions set by the OJK. Securities that are classified as sharia are included in the List of Sharia Securities issued by OJK. Reksadana Syariah are still bound by Islamic Sharia rules which are based on the Koran. Reksadana Syariah have a supervisor called the Sharia supervisory board whose job is to supervise, provide advice, give consideration to the use of social funds, as well as education, promotion and product development. The community itself is not very familiar with what exactly Reksadana Syariah are and the rules contained therein. In this journal it can be seen how Reksadana Syariah are managed in accordance with existing rules
Optimize Productive Zakat to Eradicate Poverty
This article discusses how the use of productive zakat can have a major impact on the macro economy, especially in minimizing poverty that is rife in society in a country. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The type of data is in the form of narrative, the data source is in the form of publications, both physical print and online. This paper finds that the optimization of productive zakat carried out by institutions that specifically handle the distribution of zakat, can be one of the stimuluses for assistance to people (mustahik) in need, which can raise the standard of living to be better than before. So that in the end the distribution of productive zakat is expected to have an impact on reducing and anticipating poverty that occurs
The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Turnover Intentions through Employee Engagement as a Mediating Variable (Study on Yogyakarta Social Service Employees)
Research Aims: This study aims to analyze The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Turnover Intentions through Employee Engagement as a Mediating Variable (Study on Yogyakarta Social Service Employees).
Methodology: This quantitative survey research, focusing on the Yogyakarta City Social Service, involves the entire population of 76 employees as respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using Descriptive and Path Analysis for hypothesis testing
Research Findings: The results indicate that transformational leadership significantly and positively influences employee engagement and turnover intention among Yogyakarta City Social Service employees. Additionally, employee engagement significantly and negatively affects turnover intention. Transformational leadership also exhibits a significant negative effect on turnover intention, mediated by employee engagement
Theoretical Contribution: This research makes a significant theoretical contribution to the understanding of organizational dynamics, particularly related to transformational leadership, employee engagement, and turnover intention
Implication: This highlights the importance of strengthening transformational leadership, particularly in the Yogyakarta City Social Service, to improve employee engagement
Does a Cryptocurrency Comply with Shariah? Empirical Evidence from ARCH-GARCH Economic Model
The objective of this paper is to analyze the debate about cryptocurrency as money from an Islamic point of view. Money in Islam that is based on urf of custom has also some requirements, such as its stability. Some fatwas in Indonesia regarding the legitimacy of cryptocurrency must be evidenced with an empirical-based. The study used 25 cryptocurrency prices and related information. By employing ARCH and GARCH, the study revealed that cryptocurrency is hugely volatile and, thus, does not fulfill such criterion as money from an Islamic perspective, and is normally used for speculation. Hence, this study suggests that cryptocurrency is still reluctant to be used for a transaction
Islamic Economics Seen from the Philosophy of Science and Integration-Interconnection Paradigm
The dispute over the building of Islamic economics has not yet reached an agreement. Therefore, this article aims to analyze Islamic economics as science based on the philosophy of science and the integration-interconnection paradigm. This paper concludes that Islamic economics has not been methodologically clear enough, and how the concept of methodology works is obscure because there is no clear pattern. However, Muslim economists have almost agreed that Islamic economics is an independent discipline. Therefore, the approach of integration and interconnection is feasible to apply in developing Islamic economics as the established discipline
The Application of Islamic Business Ethics and The Creativity of Waroeng Special Sambal on Sales Profit
This study aims to describe research respondents\u27 data, to determine the effect of Islamic business ethics and creativity on sales profits at Waroeng Special Sambal. The number of samples in this study were 15 respondents. The statistical method uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variables of Islamic business ethics and creativity simultaneously affect sales profits, hypothesis testing is obtained F count = 9.642 > F table = 3.68 with a significance of 0.003 <0.05. And partially the Islamic business ethics variable has no significant effect on sales profits, while the creativity variable has a significant effect on sales profits. Islamic business ethics and creativity affect sales profits by 61.6%
