    Examining Factors of Murobahah Financing Margin Revenue in Indonesian Sharia Banking

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the BI-7 Day Repo rate and third party funds on the murabahah margin income of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This research data uses secondary data in the form of the 2016-2020 Islamic commercial bank annual report. The total population used is 6 Islamic commercial banks registered with the Financial Services Authority during the 2016–2020 period. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and data processing using the Eviews 9 application. The results showed that third party funds had a significant positive effect on murabahah margin income.     Determinants of M-Payment Use in Muslim Millennial Generations: Moderation Effects of Knowledge about Riba

    The large amount of using smartphones makes businessmen and scientists create an application where it could be used as one of the ways for cashless payments. One of the tools for cashless payments uses a smartphone application called “Mobile Payment” or M-Payment. The development of M-Payment does not lose the concerns of a muslim towards the idea of syariah. The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that influences the users of M-Payment which are the millennial generation muslims in yogyakarta. This research uses 214 sample that are submitted through an online survey. The data will be processed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with a SmartPLS 3.0. The results from the data analysis reveals the convenient variable, comparative variable, and risk perception significantly affects the users intention to acquire M-Payment. On the other hand, the beneficial variable, religiosity shows an insignificance affect of the users intention to acquire M-Payment. However, it shows that the effect of modern knowledge about riba does not moderate in this research. Therefore, M-Payment is able to give advantages, convenience, and safety towards the millennial generation of muslims. Besides that, the concerns of muslims towards the idea of syariah does not affect their intention to use M-Paymen

    The majority of Indonesia\u27s population is Muslim, which means that it has great potential to become a center for the development of Islamic finance, including Islamic banking. However, the results of an OJK survey found that only 21.48% of Indonesia\u27s population is classified as well-intentioned. This shows the low level of financial literacy of the Indonesian people. It can be said that the development of Islamic finance in Indonesia which is still relatively low is due to the lack of financial literacy of the people. Therefore, this service aims to provide additional insight regarding the introduction of Islamic banking, products produced by Islamic banking, the benefits of using Islamic banking. It is hoped that with this discussion of information, public understanding regarding Islamic banking will increase. To carry out these activities, our team disseminates understanding of Islamic banking by providing information and opening discussions through posts we make on Instagram.     Dolokgede, Tambakrejo village located in Bojonegoro Regency has potential property art. One of the business opportunities that Bojonegoro community has begun to develop is batik, but there are still only a few people have batik character, they only make it without knowing the meaning of the resulting motif. The motifs that are widely used in batik are imagines plant and flower. During this time the community is very worried that there will be attention, extinction, appreciation from others for the batik motifs that have been produced. There for the Disbudpar and Uin Sunan Kalijaga service team asked for assistance to support the assistance of intellectual property rights on batik motifs produced by Dolokgede through the Director General Property Rights. So that it can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the village community marked by the village communitu. Which produces written batik based on dance art and distributes tourism areas, therefore the tourist area will facilitate written batik produced by the people of Dolokgede Village

    The Influence of Islamicity Performance Index and Intellectual Capital on Sharia Business Unit Profitability

    Sharia Business Unit in Indonesia is experiencing increasingly rapid growth. Islamic financial institutions establish profitability as a measuring tool to improve financial  performance. Several ratios can be used to take measurements on profitability, such as Islamicity Performance Index and Intellectual Capital. The study aims to analyze the influence of Islamicity Performance Index and Intellectual Capital on profitability in Sharia Business Units in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative. The sample used is 16 Sharia Business Units in Indonesia  for the period 2018-2020. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression, using the eviews 12 application program. The results showed that is partially Equitable Distribution Ratio, Islamic Income vs. Non-Islamic Income and Intellectual Capital had a significant positive influence on profitability. Simultaneously stated that the Islamicity Performance Index and Intellectual Capital have a significant effect on Profitability in sharia business units in Indonesi

    The Effect of Islamic Bank Financing on the Human Development Index: A Case Study of 15 Cities on Java Island

    The Human Development Index (IPM) measures how people can access development results in obtaining income, health, and education. This study aimed to determine whether Islamic bank financing, poverty, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) have a relationship and influence the Human Development Index in 15 cities in Java Island for 2015-2021. The quantitative approach uses secondary data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for Islamic bank financing data. In contrast, Poverty and GRDP data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The data used in this study is annual data from 2015 to 2021. The estimation method used is panel data regression with the Random Effects model. The study results that the Islamic bank financing variable has a significant positive effect on HDI. Meanwhile, the Poverty and GRDP variables significantly and negatively affect the Human Development Index. Simultaneously, the variables of Islamic bank financing, poverty, and GRDP affect the Human Development Index

    Determinan Niat dan Perilaku Berinfak: Sebuah Bukti Empiris dari Muslim Millenials

    Infak as one of the Islamic financial instruments that also has a role in encouraging increased welfare and reducing social inequality. This study aims to analyze the determinants of the use of online platforms to pay infak among Indonesian millennial Muslims. This paper provides an enrichment of the determinants of intention to pay infak through a digital platform which of course is expected to be taken into consideration in policy formulation for stakeholders including philanthropic organizations. A quantitative approach with a structural equation model (SEM) was chosen in analyzing the data with the help of the SmartPLS application.3. The research sample was 76 respondents spread across several islands in Indonesia. The existing respondents are determined by the main criteria, namely Muslims aged 24-39 years who represent the Millennial generation. Data collection is done online with the help of google forms which are distributed through social media. Through this study, it was found that social presence, and ease of access to financial facilities have a positive effect on the intention to donate using a digital platform. However, when the variables of religiosity and ease of access were moderated by donating behavior,it was not found significant effect

    Green Banking: The Trend of Maintaining Sustainability of Environmental Business

    Various countries are currently facing the degradation of energy resources, natural resources, and environmental pollution. As the party providing financing, banks must participate in reducing environmental damage. Based on interviews conducted with 30 customers who use financing services in banking, the results show that: financing obtained from banks is used for business capital financing, which includes businesses: food stalls, catering, grocery stores, workshops, and expedition services. Based on the interview results, the fact that these businesses have not implemented the concept of an environmentally friendly business is also obtained. This type of research is qualitative research. The data sources for this study were 32 BSI customers in the Central Java region. The findings indicated that 32 respondents of BSI in the Central Java Area are already familiar with green banking. However, when it comes to e-banking, only 37.5% of respondents were aware of green banking. Up to 56.25% of customers realize the need to recycle waste and manage the waste generated by their products. In short, most of BSI\u27s customers in the Central Java region have not implemented the green banking concept in their business. This study\u27s practical implications imply that customers\u27 preferences for using the money they are given to fund environmentally friendly firms may exist. Concerning its theoretical implications, this study aims to improve the theory of green banking and how it relates to the sustainability of businesses. Originality/Value: This research primarily focuses on customer perceptions of the implementation of green banking. However, no research focuses on customer business activities that apply green banking principles, especially MSMEs. At the same time, the customer\u27s business activities are the responsibility of both the business actor and the financier (Bank)

    Islamic Progressive and Sharia Banking Problems During Covid-19 Pandemic

    Background: The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused several sectors to be badly affected. Including sharia banking as an affected institution resulting in decreased performance. In conditions like these, Islamic banks still have to survive to be able to provide the best service and maintain the trustworthiness of customer funds. Objectives: The purpose this study to determine development sharia banking, and progressive Islamic thought for sharia banking problems. Novelty: The concept of Progressive Islamic can be a reference in maintaining stability and protecting Islamic banks from various problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research Methodology / Design: The method used this research is field research, using qualitative. The Sources used study are secondary data, from various sources considered relevant research theme. The data analysis technique used research is descriptive qualitative, which describes the development of sharia banking and the role of progressive Islam for sharia banking problems. Findings: This study indicate growth sharia banking during covid-19 pandemic period April 2020 to April 2021. Sharia banking assets grew 13.96 percent, Third Party Funds grew 14.16 percent, financing grew 7.96 percent, income grew 1.43 percent, and non-performing financing grew by 4.83 percent. Sharia banking must be more open to suggestions or responses from various parties as a form of improvement. The input can be sourced from anywhere that is in line with the concept of sharia banking itself. One of them is from progressive Islam itself, which focuses on many things in society. Among them is the focus of progressive Islam, namely on justice, this must be a reference for Islamic banks for their activities. Because justice is also the goal of Islamic economics and following sharia law. Implication: Some of the concepts and values of Islamic progressive can be adopted by sharia banking in overcoming several problems that have arisen due to the Covid-19 pandemic. such as carrying out various product developments and updating services by maximizing technology-based services
