Inclusive education has a very important role in increasing parental awareness of the importance of higher education and digital entrepreneurship, especially for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This topic was chosen because of the low understanding of some parents who still see education only as a means of getting a job, not as a long-term investment that can improve the quality of life. Therefore, this community service program was implemented at Harapan Sejati Vocational School with the aim of educating parents about the importance of inclusive education and digital skills for their children's future. This program is implemented through various activities, such as interactive seminars, group discussions, and involving parents in digital entrepreneurship projects run by students. In this way, parents can gain insight into how inclusive education can support children's development, as well as how digital and entrepreneurial skills are very relevant in this modern era. Survey results conducted after the program showed that more than 95% of parents gained a new understanding of the value of inclusive education and the importance of digital skills. Apart from that, this program also introduces entrepreneurship as a relevant career alternative in the ever-growing digital world. Overall, this program proves that inclusive education involving parents plays an important role in student development. This also strengthens the role of parents in encouraging digital literacy and an entrepreneurial mindset, creating a young generation that is ready to compete and develop in the global era

KOMPARASI FRAMEWORK AGILE DENGAN METODE FUNCTION POINT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI MOBILE

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of two Agile methodologies—Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP)—in the development of a mobile application for online examinations. In the context of rapidly changing requirements and the need for flexibility, Agile-based software development approaches are highly relevant, particularly for small to medium-scale projects. This research adopts a qualitative case study approach, supported by quantitative analysis using Function Point (FP) to provide an objective comparison of productivity between the two methods. The results show that XP produced 85 Function Points in 120 working hours, achieving a productivity rate of 0.708 FP per hour. In comparison, Scrum produced 75 Function Points in 110 working hours, with a productivity rate of 0.682 FP per hour. Although the difference is relatively small, the data suggests that XP is slightly more efficient in delivering system functionalities within a given time frame. Qualitative findings from interviews and observations also indicate that XP is more adaptive to changes and promotes stronger technical collaboration among team members, particularly through practices like pair programming and continuous refactoring. On the other hand, Scrum offers a more structured workflow through sprint planning and backlog grooming, which supports better task management and documentation.Based on these findings, it can be concluded that XP is more effective in project environments that require rapid iteration and high flexibility, while Scrum remains advantageous for structured project planning. The selection of methodology should be aligned with the project's characteristics, team dynamics, and development goals

The role of symbolic capital and symbolic violence in shaping social hierarchies through digital consumption and production in Roblox online game

This study investigates how symbolic capital is accumulated and how symbolic violence operates to legitimize economic disparities within the digital society of Roblox. Using Pierre Bourdieu’s concepts of symbolic capital and symbolic violence, this research explores how digital consumption and production practices contribute to the construction and legitimization of social hierarchies. A qualitative approach using case study method was adopted, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that symbolic capital in Roblox is accumulated as prestige and reputation. Prestige is gained through the ownership of premium items and exclusive memberships that signify wealth and social status. Reputation is achieved through social influence and recognition as game developers and creators, reinforced by verified badges and symbolic awards. The study further reveals that symbolic violence operates through four mechanisms: social status differentiation, internalization of social hierarchies, justification of economic disparities, and reproduction of social hierarchies. These mechanisms differentiate players based on symbolic capital, leading to internalized social hierarchies that justify economic inequalities as logical social distinctions. This conceals power dynamics and motivates players to participate willingly in economic practices that sustain social stratification within the digital society of Roblox

Design of an Integrated Database System for Optimizing Laundry Services

The rapid advancement of technology has brought significant changes across various sectors, including service industries like laundry. Many laundry businesses still rely on manual, paper-based record-keeping, which is prone to errors, data loss, and inefficiencies in information retrieval. This traditional method also makes it difficult for business owners to monitor transactions and manage customers effectively. Therefore, this study aims to design a database system that can manage laundry transactions more efficiently, accurately, and structurally. The research methodology includes direct observation of laundry operations and a literature review on database systems. The database design process consists of three main stages: conceptual, logical, and physical. In the conceptual stage, key entities such as customers, employees, services, transactions, and memberships are identified. The logical stage implements relational schemas using an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) to ensure entity relationships and eliminate data redundancy. The physical stage involves implementing the database design into a Database Management System (DBMS) and testing through anomaly scenarios in insertion, deletion, and updates to ensure data integrity and consistency. The study results indicate that the designed database system enhances laundry operational efficiency by providing more accurate transaction records, faster data retrieval, and improved data security. The use of constraints in the database helps maintain data validity, reduce duplication risks, and improve system reliability in transaction management. With this system, laundry business owners can easily monitor business activities, enhance service quality, and optimize marketing strategies based on customer data. By implementing a structured database system, laundry businesses are expected to adapt to technological advancements, increase competitiveness, and provide more professional services to customers

KETIKA TANDA TIDAK LAGI PUNYA “PENGIRIM”: MENUJU SEMIOTIKA OTONOM

This article proposes a conceptual framework called Autonomous Semiotics to explain how signs operate and acquire meaning in digital ecosystems governed by algorithmic automation and artificial intelligence. The study departs from the limitations of classical semiotics, which assumes meaning production always comes from human intentionality. In contrast, within contemporary digital platforms, signs circulate, accumulate resonance, and shape interpretation without an identifiable human sender. Algorithmic systems—rather than communicators—regulate visibility, priority, replication, and distribution of signs. Theoretically, this study seeks to reformulate the foundation of communication studies by situating sign production within a non-human, computational mechanism. The article concludes that communication in the digital era can no longer be understood solely as a process of message exchange between sender and receiver, but as the operational agency of signs embedded in platform logic and automated systems

INVESTIGATING DEMOTIVATING FACTORS OF EFL TEACHERS WHEN TEACHING ENGLISH

Motivation is essential in teaching and learning; it drives us to work persistently to reach a specific goal. However, only a few studies have explored possible demotivating factors in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers when they teach English effectively. As a response, this study aims to explore what causes demotivation in EFL teachers when teaching English and how they should deal with that demotivation effectively. To meet the research objectives, the researcher first conducted a comprehensive literature review of 18 articles published in national (indexed in SINTA 1 & 2) and international journals. Then, the researcher interviewed 4 lecturers to discuss the literature review analysis results thoroughly. The research found that heavy workloads, burnout, and low salaries were the main factors that could increase demotivation in teaching. Meanwhile, teachers’ engagement in school activities and their relationships with students were identified as helpful strategies for maintaining or restoring motivation, suggesting that these interpersonal and institutional or restoring motivation, suggesting that these interpersonal and institutional connections can act as ways to cope with demotivating factors. The data collected from the interviews with the lecturers mostly contrast with that which has been found in previous studies. Most of the answers from the interviews contrasting with the previous studies related to the interviewees’ genuine passion for teaching as a profession. Directions for further research and practical implications are presented
