EXPLORATION OF WATER DROP AS A EVENT DIGITAL STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKS WITH Symmetrical COMPOSITION
No full textAdvances in digital technology have an influence on the world of photography, many general public have started to study photography as an embodiment of hobbies and creative expressions. Expression photography is an expression of the soul that prioritizes the expression of one's personal identity which will be expressed in a work of pure art. That photography is able to stand as a work of art because of the expression of meaning and part of the expression of work that is done by humans in this case as a photographer. Art photography is a photo that is a reflection of the soul, emotions of the photographer. Of course, the research emphasizes that it is important to express in your work but don't forget to apply a conceptual mindset and at least apply methods in the creation of photographic works as a basis for thinking so that the work can be strong in message and meaning. One genre of photography that can realize an expression is Water Drop photography using the freeze photography technique. The form of visual references as ideas in a visual water drop will resemble the imagination of the photographer in conveying a message to the audience, this is one of the beauty of the graphic art of water drop photography. Starting from the development of ideas that are trying to appear in the form of visual photography based on water splash photography references in previous research conducted by Syafriyandi in a study entitled SENSATION OF COLOR SPLASH IN EXPRESSION PHOTOGRAPHY WORKS. This research concludes that water drop photography is not only the embodiment of artistic expression, but can be explored into a beautiful form of graphic art that is desired as an embodiment of ideas and can even be arranged from the placement of composition as an emphasis on photography
ANALYSIS OF TRANSLATION TECHNIQUES AND ERRORS OF DEVOTIONAL BOOKLETS
Get PDFs we all know, Chinese is now one of the most important languages in the world. People all over the country are learning and using Chinese, and Chinese is even used in many religious activities. Indonesian Chinese churches have always maintained the use of Chinese. For example, bilingual (Indonesian and Chinese) is used in worship services, and various news or brochure or booklet in the church are also bilingual, including daily devotional books. When reading the articles on daily devotional books, we found that the translation of the articles was not the same as the original text, so we conducted research on this, mainly researching the translation technique and existing problems of the articles on daily devotional books. This research takes the daily devotional book “GEMA” of the Chinese Church of Jesus Christ as the research object and mainly analyzes the translation techniques and translation errors in the Chinese translation of the "GEMA" in January 2018 edition. Through research, we know that the translation skills most commonly used by the translators of the "GEMA" are division (33.33%), passive and active conversion (22.22%), and combination (13.89%), while the least common translation skills are negation (1.39%). In addition, the translation errors we found were typos (61.54%), missing translations (15.38%), mistranslations (15.38%), and inappropriate words (7.7%)
ANALYSIS OF QUESTIONING METHOD USED BY LECTURER IN TEACHING CHINESE COMPREHENSIVE SUBJECT IN BUNDA MULIA UNIVERSITY
Get PDFIn the Chinese class, one of the indispensable factors in the interaction between teachers and students is asking questions. Whether it is questions from teachers and students or questions between students, they are of great help to students in their Chinese learning process. This research is a mixed method research, mainly through classroom observation, interviews and questionnaires to collect data. We observed the comprehensive courses of 7 classes in the Chinese Department of Bunda Mulia University. We found most of the teachers’ questions in the classroom are about the content of the text and exercises; when asking questions, most teachers let student answer question willingly; when there are no students to answer the questions, the teachers chose student by roll call to answer question, and students who answer questions are also selected based on the difficulty of the questions; most of the questions asked by teachers are application questions, comprehension questions and information questions; when confirming students' proficiency in language point applications, teachers generally use application questions to ask questions; teachers generally use comprehension questions when confirming students' understanding of text content; informative questions are generally used by teachers to confirm a student's understanding of a text's information
The Effect of Parent-Child Relationship to Middle Childhood’s Empathy Skill
Get PDFEmpathy that appears in children can be caused by how the relationship that children build with their parents. This study aims to prove the influence of the relationship of parents and children on the middle childhood children’s ability to empathize. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis technique. The samples in this study amounted to 184 parents with children aged 6-11 years who live together and directly take care of their children without much help from others in the city of Pekanbaru. The sample was collected through purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are the adaptation of the Basic Empathy Scale - Parent Report (BES-PR) and Child Parent Relationship Scale (CPRS). The results of the study showed that there is an effect of the relationship between parents and children on middle childhood children’s ability to empathize by 16.1%. The middle childhood children's ability to empathize in this study was in the high (95.7%) and low (4.3%) level, while the relationship between parents and middle childhood childrens in all samples of this study was in the good category (100%)

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan sosial, ekonomi dan aspek lainnya. Cashless adalah sistem pembayaran tanpa uang tunai, sesuai dengan arti harfiahnya yang berarti tidak atau tanpa menggunakan uang tunai. Cashless mengacu pada pembayaran dalam bentuk digital. Saat ini penggunaan ATM bahkan dompet digital mungkin sangat digemari oleh berbagai kalangan mulai dari remaja hingga dewasa, masih banyak lansia yang belum memahami cara penggunaannya, sehingga perlu sosialisasi lebih lanjut kepada masyarakat. memfasilitasi penggunaan cashless untuk lansia. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut, tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah merancang media informasi menggunakan cashless agar lebih mudah dipahami oleh para lansia yang belum paham. Perancangan media cetak berupa booklet, media pendukung berupa gimmick, dan implementasi identitas visual seperti media banner dan flyer. Melalui penelitian ini, untuk mengenalkan cashless kepada para lansia yang belum memahami cashless agar mereka dapat terbiasa menggunakan metode pembayaran cashless. Dalam perancangan tugas akhir ini, menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif adalah metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan melihat data atau teori yang ada sebagai dasar untuk membuat kesimpulan dari data atau teori tersebut. Dengan menggunakan berbagai metode data seperti studi pustaka, observasi, dan kuisioner untuk menjaring kebutuhan masyarakat akan media informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah menggunakan metode “design thinking”, metode ini dikenal sebagai proses berpikir komprehensif yang berkonsentrasi pada penciptaan solusi dimulai dengan proses empati terhadap kebutuhan yang berpusat pada manusia menuju penemuan berkelanjutan sesuai kebutuhan. dari penggunanya. In this movie, youcan see the design aspects of local wisdom, background,culture, life values and tradition that are still strong andare very authentic and related to the daily life of people in Southeast Asia and one of them contains aspects of Indonesian culture. Therefore, this movie has norms values that reflect the identity of the Indonesian nation in the Southeast Asia region. This study aims to find out how the role of Southeast Asian culture is formed and influences the people in assessing Southeast Asian culture, especially culture from Indonesia. The research method was grounded theory approach and the datais taken from the scene of the movie. The research results show that there are cultural elements that are shown through the values in the Movie Raya and The Last Dragon in the form of character design, asset design and background. These assets are able to build the people’s perception of the culture of Southeast Asia and Indonesia
PENERAPAN DATA MINING UNTUK MENGESTIMASI LAJU PERTUMBUHAN PENDUDUK DENPASAR MENGGUNAKAN METODE REGRESI LINIER BERGANDA
Get PDFPusat Statistik (BPS) adalah lembaga pemerintah nonkementrian yang bertanggung jawab melakukan pendataan statistik terhadap jumlah penduduk. Namun BPS Kota Denpasar mengalami kesulitan dalam mengestimasi laju pertumbuhan penduduk setiap tahunnya dikarenakan beberapa kendala. Padahal laju pertumbuhan pendudukan merupakan hal yang krusial diketahui oleh pemerintahan untuk menjadi bahan perhitungan pengembangan dan pengelolaan kota tersebut. Dengan mengetahui laju pertumbuhan penduduk, pengelola bisa membuat rancangan tata letak hunian untuk pengelola kota dapat menarik investor yang akan membawa pembangunan di kota tersebut. Data mining dapat diaplikasikan untuk mengetahui dan memprediksi laju pertumbuhan penduduk. Dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda, data akan diolah dan menampilkan hasil yang akan dianalisis kedepannya bahwa laju pertumbuhan penduduk kota Denpasar kearah baik atau memburuk sehingga dapat diambil insight atau langkah strategis selanjutnya yang mungkin bisa diambil. Dalam penelitian ini, regresi linear menjadi model yang lebih baik dengan hasil range akurasi 85- 92% dengan biaya algoritma O(n2). Hasil dari regresi menafsirkan atau memprediksi tahun 2023 dan 2024 akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 7,5% dan 12,25%
ASPEK MORAL DALAM NOVEL REMBULAN TENGGELAM DI WAJAHMU KARYA TERE LIYE DENGAN KAJIAN SEMIOTIK DAN RELEVANSINYA SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR SASTRA DI SMA
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) Struktur pembangun dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu karya Tere Liye, (2) Aspek moral dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotik, (3) Relevansi novel Rembulan Tenggelam di WajahmuKarya Tere Liye sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu Karya Tere Liye. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik pustaka dan catat. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan adalah teknik trianggulasi data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode pembacaan model semiotik dengan proses tahap pembacaan heuristik dan tahap pembacaan hemeneutik. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa (1) Struktur novel yang terdiri dari tema, fakta cerita (alur, penokohan, latar). (2) Aspek moral dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu Karya Tere Liye terdapat tiga nilai moralyaitu nilai moral keagamaan, nilai moral kekeluargaan, dan nilai moral individu. (3) Novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu Karya Tere Liye dapat dipakai sebagai bahan ajar di SMA dengan mengaitkan dengan kriteria bahan ajar yang terbagi menjadi bahasa, psikologi, dan latar belakang budaya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA dan menambah khasanah pembelajaran tentang novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu. Research on Gender Differences in the Use of Mandarin Speech Acts of Disagreement
Get PDFWith the development of language research, many foreign researchers have conducted research and analysis on the speech acts performed by people in their lives, and some of them disagree with speech acts. Language and gender are one of the important research topics. Many researchers have studied the differences in the use of disapproval strategies between men and women. At present, there are still very few Indonesians doing relevant research. In order to know what disapproval strategies Indonesian men and women use and what the differences are, the author conducted this study. This study mainly investigates Jakarta workers working in Chinese companies. Research results show that both men and women now use warmer strategies more often when expressing disagreement, and the most commonly used strategy is positive comments. Whether with their elders, peers or younger generations, women often use warm-hearted strategies to express disagreement. Although men use warming strategies more often with their elders and peers, they use strengthening strategies more often when expressing disapproval with their juniors. Men and women also tend to use warming strategies when expressing disagreement with acquaintances or strangers. Men use reinforcement strategies more frequently than women. The author also found that context, relative power, and social distance affected men and women's choices in using disapproval strategies

The purpose of this study is to suggest a framework to be used as a business development strategy for culinary tourism using qualitative research methods (surveys and observations). SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The findings of this study are related to the "Minggon Jatinan" culinary tourism development strategy, including the importance of implementing the strategy itself, collaboration between stakeholders, promotion of culinary profiles and optimizing the potential of existing forest natural resources to maintain the uniqueness of "Minggon Jatinan" culinary tourism in Batang Regency. has a tradition called Minggon Jatinan which is one of the media for introducing traditional culture in Indonesia. Minggon Jatinan was carried out in the Rajawali City Forest which is next to the northern coast road. Minggon Jatinan has a great attraction for tourists from within and outside Batang. The strategy in the Minggon Jatinan Tradition can benefit many parties.
