This research uses quantitative research methods using simple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests using the t test, and coefficient of determination tests. This test was carried out on 100 visitors as respondents to the Glodok Chinatown area, Jakarta.Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, the overall average value of variable X (culinary tourism) is 4.33 (very high), and the average value of variable Y (destination image) is 4.35 (very high). Based on the t test calculation, the result of the significance value is 0.000 below 0.05, which means that variable X (culinary tourism) has an influence on variable Y (destination image). In the coefficient of determination test, there is a value of 0.609, so it can be concluded that variable X has positive impact as much as 60.9% on destination image. In the simple linear regression test that was carried out, there was a result of 0.721, which means that culinary tourism has a positive influence on the image of the destination. Keywords: Culinary Tourism, Chinese Cuisine, Destination Image, Pecinan Glodo

Commodification of Poverty in Social Media
The commodification of poverty is no longer only capable of being carried out by the mass media. In the digital era, people can use poverty as content or commodify poverty through social media. Commodification using poverty as a social media selling point often occurs and continues to be repeated. This research aims to read the commodification of poverty on social media in Indonesia by analyzing the content of the Instagram accounts @hestyprw and @bella_saskya8 using a qualitative content analysis approach. Roland Barthes' semiotics, which includes denotation, connotation, and myth, is used as a research method in dissecting research objects (verbal and visual signs). The research found that both Instagram accounts used symbols of poverty, such as low-income family backgrounds and jobs, simple to damaged housing, and narratives of life's difficulties as the central concept of their content. On the other hand, the research also found a conflict between the content created by the two accounts, where the forms of poverty narrated were in contrast to the content creator's visual image (wearing nice clothes and even gold jewelry). Thus, the commodification of poverty carried out on social media is different from the commodification of poverty in mass media, where commodification on social media is more of a fake show and is directed at seeking attention, even debate so that the audience becomes increasingly curious about following the content
The Prophet's Tale: Disseminating Religious Narratives and Values in Indonesian Children's Storybooks
This study investigates the portrayal of Islamic prophets in children’s storybooks published in Indonesia. It utilizes mixed analytical method by combining traditional semiotic analysis and generative artificial intelligence. Focusing on a sample of popular publications, we examine how these narratives visually and textually construct religious stories, aiming to understand their role in shaping children's perceptions of Islamic teachings. The paper reveals the intricate balance between religious fidelity and pedagogical considerations, highlighting a unique cultural synthesis in Indonesian publishing. Our findings demonstrate that while these storybooks adhere closely to Islamic tenets, they also adapt narratives to suit the pedagogical needs of young readers, employing strategies that blend religious teachings with engaging storytelling. The use of generative AI, in this case ChatGPT-4, in conjunction with human analysis offers a comprehensive perspective, identifying patterns that might otherwise be overlooked in traditional methods. This study not only contributes to the field of cultural studies and the understanding of religious narratives in children's literature but also showcases the potential of AI-assisted humanities research. The implications of this research extend to broader discussions on the role of religious narratives in shaping cultural and religious identities in early childhood, offering valuable insights for educators, publishers, and scholars in the field

A Portrait of the Woman in Mass Media in the Case of Femicide of a Student in Pandeglang Regency
This research aims to criticize and justify the subject position, object position, and reader position placed in the news text of the female student femicide case in Pandeglang Regency in the Radar Banten report. This research uses the Sara Mills model of discourse analysis using a critical paradigm, through a qualitative approach. This research was conducted using purposive sampling. The results of this research are that female victims of femicide are positioned as objects of discrimination and the subject is the storyteller, namely Radar Banten. The subject position has the freedom to tell the event but also interpret the various actions that build up the event. The position of the reader in the news text is more directed towards male readers. There are two ways to position the reader, with the mediation aspect and the cultural code aspect. The representation of female victims of femicide in Pandeglang Regency in Radar Banten's reporting is influenced by patriarchal ideology. Women are considered a marginal group that experiences injustice because it weakens women's position. Women in this news are stereotyped and labeled as being weak, helpless, and wrong.
