Penerapan Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process Dalam Memprioritaskan Lokasi Pengembangan Kawasan Pariwisata
The aim of this research is to explore the role of Analytical Hierarchy Process method in prioritizing three alternative tourism development areas, namely Likupang, Morotai Island, and Tanjung Kelayang. These three alternatives were selected from 10 Priority Tourism Destinations established by the Indonesia Ministry of Tourism. There are three criteria used as considerations in prioritizing the three alternative tourism areas, they are: Economic Benefits, Availability of Infrastructure, Tourist Destination Attractions, Social and Environmental Issues. These criteria were selected based on various previous research results. Meanwhile, the information regarding each criteria was obtained from the Ministry of Tourism. Furthermore, to increase objectivity, relative weights among criteria is obtained through questionnaire to eight respondents whose background are practitioner and academician. All information was processed into the Original Matrix and Adjusted Matrix with relative assessment weights based on the questionnaire results. After that, the Consistency Ratio was calculated, which result is less than 0,1. The calculation results indicate that Likupang become the first priority as a location for tourism area development. However, this research recommend that other locations should be developed as well but with a lower priority, considering that the economic benefits of tourism for Likupang are still less than that of the other two alternative areas
ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA MAKNA TOXIC RELATIONSHIP DALAM SERIAL DRAMA “YANG HILANG DALAM CINTA”
Toxic relationship is a social issue that can occur in the real life, especially in an interpersonal relationship. This can be emphasized through the numbers of violence against couples in Indonesia which continues to increase from year to year. The issue of toxic relationship then tried to be raised through one of the drama series, namely "Yang Hilang dalam Cinta". The drama series originates from a true story that tells about the relationship between Rendra and Dara, as lovers who are trapped in a toxic relationship. This study then aims to determine the meaning of toxic relationship in the drama series "Yang Hilang dalam Cinta" through Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and also analyzed using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory whose elements consist of denotation, connotation and myth. The results of this study indicate that the interpersonal relationship between Rendra and Dara is at a fading stage, and the meaning of the toxic relationship contained in the drama series "Yang Hilang dalam Cinta" can be identified from excessive jealousy, poor communication, occurrence of physical or psychological violence, controlling behavior, possessive, manipulative, lack of support and power imbalance in a relationship
Analysis of Mastery of Verb-Object Compound Word Expansion Form in the 'Advanced Conversation Course of Business Chinese'
As China's economic and trade exchanges with Indonesia deepen, more and more people are beginning to learn Business Chinese. Therefore, Business Chinese textbooks have also attracted attention, one of which is the "Advanced Business Chinese Conversation Course." One crucial aspect of this textbook is the separable verbs. Separable verbs are one of the challenges faced by second language learners of Chinese. This study focuses on the separable verbs in the "Advanced Business Chinese Conversation Course." Ten separable verbs out of 38 in the textbook were selected for analysis the students’ mastery. All ten selected separable verbs are of the verb-object type. This research adopts a quantitative approach, primarily using literature review and testing methods to collect research data. A total of 25 test questions were designed concerning the expansion forms of separable verbs. Based on the statistical results of the test questions, it is known that students majoring in Business Chinese at Bunda Mulia University have a low mastery of the insertion of particles in separable verb structures but a high mastery of the insertion of classifiers; the duration of students' Chinese learning has an impact on their mastery of separable verbs.
Analysis of Difficulties for Students of Bunda Mulia University's Chinese Language Study Program in Learning Idioms (Study Case on "Business Chinese: Advanced Conversation" Textbook)
This paper collects idioms from the first and second volumes of "Business Chinese: Advanced Speaking" and conducts a survey on the idiom learning situation of third-year students of the Chinese Business Major at Bunda Mulia University. Based on the survey results, the study analyzed the issues and proposes learning strategies for idioms. The research findings indicate that students' idiom learning proficiency is generally at an intermediate level. The main difficulty they face is using idioms correctly in sentence construction. The primary reason for their struggles is inadequate memorization and insufficient understanding of idiom meanings. A significant portion of the errors in idiom usage is related to grammatical issues. Additionally, many students either do not fully grasp the meanings of idioms or completely misunderstand them, leading to difficulties in accurately conveying their intended messages
POTENSI WISATA KULINER SEBAGAI OBJEK WISATA DI KOTA BANDUNG
The development of culinary tourism in the city of Bandung has increased significantly. This is evidenced by the city of Bandung being named one of the cities with the best traditional food in Asia by the Taste Atlas Awards 2021. The diversity of Traditional Foods in the city of Bandung as well as abundant, diverse and unique raw materials provides a huge opportunity for the sale of culinary tourism in the city of Bandung because the potential for culinary tourism is supported by the attractiveness of culinary tourism in the city of Bandung. This research focuses more on the potential of traditional food, tourist attraction and culinary tourism. These things are the reasons this research must be done. The results showed that traditional food is a potential for the development of culinary tourism in Bandung City so that traditional food has a role in developing culinary tourism, especially in Bandung City.This research uses a qualitative approach. The informants are traditional food producers and sellers in the Bandung City area. The research location is in all areas of Bandung City. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation study technique
APLIKASI SIMULASI PERCOBAAN WARNA PEWARNA BIBIR BERBASIS ANDROID MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI AUGMENTED REALITY
Kecantikan merupakan hal penting bagi wanita, namun terdapat banyak masalah seputar kecantikan yang dialami wanita. Salah satu masalah yang kerap dialami adalah pemilihan warna pada pewarna bibir yang tidak sesuai, sehingga justru membuat penampilan tampak tidak maksimal. Hal ini biasanya terjadi dikarenakan tidak semua warna pewarna bibir cocok di semua warna kulit, sehingga pemilihan warna dalam produk pewarna bibir sangat krusial. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dari permasalahan yang didapatkan, diputuskan akan dibuat aplikasi yang dapat mensimulasikan percobaan pewarna bibir secara real-life dengan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Metode yang digunakan adalah Face Tracking dengan algoritma Concurrent Odometry and Mapping (COM) untuk melacak lalu menciptakan representasi virtual dari wajah. Algoritma COM memiliki akurasi tinggi dalam pelacakan dengan hasil yang stabil dan konsisten, sehingga walaupun terjadi pergerakan kepala hasil akan tetap stabil dan konsisten. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji coba implementasi metode untuk simulasi percobaan warna bibir, implementasi berhasil dilakukan dan simulasi dapat berjalan secara lancar dalam real-life. Sehingga pengguna dapat menggunakan filter pewarna bibir yang tersedia dalam aplikasi untuk mencari tahu warna yang sesuai dengan kulit mereka. Flash sale: How young people practice dromology in digital consumption
This study analyzes chronological practices in flash sale activities by digital natives in the Shopee Market Place. Flash Sale is a program that offers price promotions with limited stock and time. Flash sale activities provide a lot of ease of access, especially among young people to meet their needs, but this also has the consequence of media dependence, even to the point where consumers are trapped in simulacra that makes them lose their ability to distinguish between wants and needs. This study uses the nethnography method to collect data related to 3:3 and 4:4 flash sale activities on Shopee in March and April 2024, where the subjects in this study were active Shopee users aged 19-26 years who were involved in the 3:3 and 4:4 flash sale program transactions. The results of the study show that chronological practices carried out by young people in flash sale activities include physical boundaries, mediated reality, totally involuntary war, and end colonization. Research data analysis shows that young people in flash sale activities are in the digital youth category, with dystopian, futurist, and techno-realist types. Flash sale is a dromology or acceleration phenomenon that can control consumer anxiety and give rise to a desire to compete. Gastronomic tourism: A case study of ecofeminism in local food promotion
Gastronomic tourism is a growing sector that intertwines cultural heritage, local food promotion, and sustainable practices. In this context, ecofeminism explores the intersection of environmental sustainability and gender roles, emphasizing women's contributions to food-related traditions. Mollo District, in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, presents a compelling case where women play a vital role in promoting local gastronomy. This study aims to analyse the role of women within the ecofeminist framework in promoting local food to support gastronomic tourism in Mollo District. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data is collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis, focusing on women's involvement in local food production and promotion. Key findings are, firstly, women play a crucial role in developing gastronomic tourism through their expertise in domestic tasks, particularly cooking and household management. Secondly, their traditional knowledge and culinary skills align with ecofeminist perspectives, reinforcing their significance in local food sustainability. Lastly, the successful development of Mollo’s gastronomic tourism depends on strengthening human resources, particularly among women, to enhance their contribution to the sector. The implications are recognizing and supporting women's roles in local food promotion can enhance sustainable gastronomic tourism in Mollo District. Furthermore, capacity-building initiatives and policy support are essential to empower women as key agents in tourism development
Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Performa dari Kinerja Bisnis di Negara Berkembang dari Sudut Pandang Owner – Manager pada Usaha Laundry
The rapid growth of MSMEs, particularly in Indonesia's laundry sector, presents challenges for business owners to improve performance amidst intense competition. This quantitative research involved 83 respondents, consisting of laundry business owners or managers in Jakarta, selected through purposive sampling. Data measurement was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale, and data processing employed the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method via SmartPLS version 4.1.0 software. This study aims to analyze the influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation, Growth Orientation, and Market Orientation on Business Performance, with Brand Orientation as a mediating variable. The results indicate that Market Orientation significantly affects Business Performance, while Entrepreneurial Orientation and Growth Orientation do not. Additionally, Brand Orientation does not mediate the relationships between the variables significantly. These findings highlight the critical role of market orientation and operational efficiency in improving MSME performance in the laundry sector. Thus, prioritizing customer needs and market-based strategies becomes essential to maintain competitiveness in the industry
Penerimaan Budaya Asing Melalui Media Film dan Musik
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana film dan musik asing memengaruhi penerimaan budaya asing oleh masyarakat Indonesia di tengah arus globalisasi. Di era digital seperti sekarang, media populer seperti film Hollywood, K-pop, dan musik Barat telah menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia, memengaruhi cara berpikir, berinteraksi, dan membentuk identitas budaya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana masyarakat Indonesia menyerap, menafsirkan, dan menyesuaikan budaya asing dengan nilai-nilai lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pengaruh budaya asing cukup besar, masyarakat Indonesia lebih selektif dalam menerima unsur budaya yang dianggap sesuai dengan norma sosial dan tradisi setempat. Proses ini menghasilkan fenomena hibriditas budaya, yang menggabungkan elemen-elemen budaya asing dan lokal, menciptakan identitas budaya yang bersifat dinamis. Meskipun media global memengaruhi generasi muda, nilai-nilai lokal seperti kekeluargaan, solidaritas, dan etika tetap terjaga. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa globalisasi budaya melalui media tidak hanya memperkenalkan nilai-nilai asing, tetapi juga memperkaya identitas budaya lokal dengan membuka ruang untuk inovasi dan kreasi
