The simulation result for the best scenario is a scenario that has 230 donor bags every 15 days witha policy of procuring donors twice in one month
Proposed Quality Control Based on Analysis Using Statistical Quality Control Method on Quail Egg Production
Quality is one of the factors that have an important role in providing satisfaction to consumers. Theproblem of quality is an issue that is often discussed in companies to design a strategy to maintain thecompany's position and improve the company's competitiveness in global competition with othercompanies. One of the efforts that can be done to maintain and improve quality is through statisticalquality control. UMKM Puyuh Kompas is one type of poultry farming business that has not implementedthe principles of quality control. The purpose of the study was to analyze quality control in quail eggproduction, identify the types of defects in quail egg production, and provide suggestions for controllingthe types of defects in quail egg production in the UMKM. The research method used is statistical qualitycontrol method and the sampling technique used is purposive sample. The results showed that the qualitycontrol of the quail egg production process in the company had not been running well. The dominant typesof defects that occur in the production process are cracked eggs and pale eggs. Suggested actions that canbe taken to prevent and reduce disability levels are by setting standard operating procedures, improving thedesign and layout of the cage, and installing supporting components that can prevent quail from beingexposed to disease outbreaks and pest attacks
Application of RULA and REBA to Analyze Body Posture of Assembling Workers (Case Study PT XYZ)
Work productivity can be influenced by body posture or attitude when workers do their work and theconditions of the work environment are less ergonomic. PT. XYZ is an organization participated in theTruck Body industry. Assembling workers at XYZ Company still uses human labor in the welding processor cutting the component assembly process. Jobs with less ergonomic positions can cause fatigue toworkers and are at risk of causing Musculoskeletal Disorders. This study expects to decide the degree ofwork injury in Assembling laborers and is expected to be a recommendation for companies to improvework station conditions. The information taken is as photographs while Assembling laborers go about theirresponsibilities. The review was directed utilizing the Nordic Body Map interview technique, theconsequences of the survey showed grievances to laborers with average score of 63.3. Based on the risklevel classification table, the score is categorized as moderate and needs to be improved. Then furtherinvestigation was done utilizing the REBA and RULA strategies to decide the state of the specialist's bodyact while going about his job. The consequences of the review show that the REBA estimation of thestance of Assembling laborers has a high gamble and requires changes. With respect to the aftereffects ofthe computation of RULA for laborers in the Assembling part of XYZ Company is classified as moderateyet in addition not excessively unsafe and remedial move can be made
Design of Ph Level Monitoring Tool in Coating Process at PT XYZ Using QFD Method
PT XYZ is a company engaged in the furniture industry, the products produced are various, one of which isthe Yamato folding chair. Yamato folding chairs are the most produced products, the production process ofYamato folding chairs consists of three processes, namely the construction process, the nickel chromeplating process, and the assembly process. In this study, the researchers focused more on the nickel chromeplating process because the most defects were in this process based on historical data from July 2020 toDecember 2021. The nickel plating process also has many types of defects including streaks, burns, yellow, and so on. Nickel chrome plating process is a metal deposition process on the surface of a metal or nonmetal electrolytically. In the analysis of the problem there is a process that is not fulfilled using the Ishikawadiagram, 5 whys analysis, and FMEA it is known that the influential factor is the incompatibility of pH levels,to correct these problems, a tool is designed. The method used for the design of the tool is the QFD (QualityFunction Deployment) method. QFD is a way to improve the quality of products and services byunderstanding each consumer's needs, then connecting them through technical aspects to produce productsor services that suit consumer needs in each manufacture product or service produced. The results of thisstudy are a tool to monitor pH levels so that they are in standard conditions. With the design of a monitoringtool for pH levels, it is expected to minimize defects that occur in the coating process
