Effect of Combination of Poultry Manure and Rice Husk Biochar on Soil Fertility and Rice Plants
Rice plants occupy a strategic position as a staple food producer for the people of Indonesia. Faced with limited suboptimal soil fertility, especially low levels of nutrients and soil pH, the use of organic fertilizers combined with local ameliorants is one solution to increase soil fertility. The purpose of this study was to obtain a combination of chicken or quail manure with rice husk biochar, which can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers (urea, SP-36, and KCl). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G) which was a combination of 100% to 25% inorganic fertilizer of the recommendations, chicken manure or bird manure quail 5 tons/ha, and rice husk biochar 5 tons/ha. The parameters observed were plant height, total chlorophyll, seed dry weight, soil pH, soil NPK content, and Al-dd content. Observational data were analyzed with the F test at the 5% level then further tests were carried out using the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test. The results showed that the treatments had a very significant effect, namely C, D, and E treatments resulted in a decrease in Al-dd, and an increase in K and had a significant effect on rice plant height. It was concluded that a combination of 5 tons/ha of chicken manure or quail manure with 5 tons/ha of biochar could increase soil fertility and rice plant height during the vegetative period and could substitute inorganic fertilizers up to 50% of the recommended dose
The Influence of Life Skills-Based Information Services on Student Career Planning Improvement
This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of career information using life skills techniques to improve career planning for Al-Iman High School students, in Magelang City. The research method was experimental research. The research design used a pre-experimental: one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was class III students using non-random sampling with a quota sampling technique, amounting to 15 students. The students' career planning characteristics were measured using a career planning questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was the Paired sample t-Test with the consideration that this study used one independent variable. The results showed that this model was effective in improving student career planning. The level of student career planning increased after following career information using life skills techniques. This could be seen from the career planning of students before and after being given career information with the Life Skills technique of 22% and strengthened through an effectiveness test using a t-test which showed -t count (-7.869) < -t table (-2.120)
IMPLEMENTASI MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MERDEKA: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Perkembangan zaman serta IPTEK yang terjadi pada saat ini memberi berbagai pengaruh dalam kehidupan, tanpa terkecuali dunia pendidikan. Program MBKM merupakan suatu usaha pemerintah untuk mempersiapkan penerus bangsa agar dapat bersaing menghadapi dunia kerja yang sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji serta menganalisis keberlangsungan program MBKM yang telah dialoikasikan kepada perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan systematic review. Systematic review digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi berbagai riset implementasi MBKM di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada 67 artikel terkait implementasi MBKM, dapat disimpulkan beberapa point. Pada aspek persepsi mahasiswa, mereka menilai beberapa kampus telah melaksanakan program MBKM dengan baik, tetapi masih ada pemahaman mahasiswa tentang MBKM masih rendah. Sosialisasi MBKM baik secara online melalui kanal kemendikbud maupun secara langsung dari masing-masing universitas diperlukan sebagai bentuk pemerataan informasi MBKM. Harapan dari kebijakan ini yaitu terlaksanakannya program secara baik dan menyeluruh. Namun, Beberapa universitas mengimplementasikan MBKM dengan tantangan dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam hal penyesuaian kurikulum, penyesuaian sistem informasi akademik, dan masalah pendanaan bagi mahasiswa
Using Rasch Model to Analyze Reliability and Validity of Concept Mastery Test on Electricity and Magnetism Topic
This study aims to analyze the reliability and validity of the electricity and magnetismconcept mastery test (EM-CMT) using Rasch model aided by Winsteps version 3.68.2. The multiple choice concept mastery test consists of 40 items about material electric current, resistance, resistivity, Ohm's law, electric voltage, energy and electrical conductivity, resistors in series, parallel, and mixed circuits, Kirchhoff's law, RC charging and discharging capacitor circuits, magnetic fields, magnetic forces, and sources magnetic field. The sample of this study were prospective physics teacher students who had passed basic physics courses. The results showed that the EM-CMThad a value of the Alpha Cronbach reliability with a good and acceptable category (0.70). The value of person reliabilityis in the quite good category (0.69). Meanwhile, the personnel separation coefficient of 1.50 which indicates the response of respondents is quite good and consistent. Analysis of the observational aspects of item fit shows that there are no items that need to be changed or removed. For the aspect of person fit, the results of the analysis showed that there were seventeen out of sixty-three respondents who experienced unusual response patterns. A review of the observations of the map variable shows the distribution of respondents' abilities and the items are proportional. Analysis of unidimensionalaspects shows the value of "raw variance explained by measure" is in the acceptable category. Based on the results of the analysis on a number of aspects, it can be concluded that theEM-CMT test is reliable and valid so that it can be used to measure the students’ concepts
Trend and Opportunity of Science Education Research Related Optical Waves: A Systematic Literature Network Analysis
Understanding the profile or trend of a research topic is very important and is the first step in starting research. The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of science education research related to wave optics learning. The systematic Literature Network Analysis (SLNA) method was used in this study. Article data during the last ten years (2012-2021) was collected from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. There were 109 eligible articles which were analyzed to find out research trends related to wave optics learning. The analysis results show that the number of studies and research citations has increased in the last ten years. The dominant waves optical materials studied are polarization and diffraction of light. This research is useful in finding further research opportunities related to wave optic learning. Further research related to the application of innovative media and inquiry learning strategies has the opportunity to be developed on wave optics (dispersion and interference). Further research can be focused on conceptual understanding and developing process skills and 21st-century skills for students through wave optics learning
The Use of Phyphox Application in Physics Experiments: A Literature Review
Nowadays, the most popular gadget owned by students is a smartphone. The sophistication of smartphones is not only used by students as a communication tool, but also internet browsing, reading e-books, and various other features that can facilitate student activities. In particular, smartphones create conditions for accessing educational programs, scientific materials, and mobile applications for field experiments. Many sensors are integrated in smartphones, thereby adding to the functionality of the smartphone itself. For example, basically every smartphone has an acceleration sensor that is used to determine orientation relative to the acceleration of gravity, a magnetometer to help GPS sensors for navigation, as well as a light sensor and a gyroscope to measure rotational speed. Pressure sensors are also available on some smartphones which can be used as indoor navigation. All of these sensors can be read with the appropriate application and can be used for smartphone-based school experiments, especially in Physics learning. Phyphox is one such sensor reading application that offers many features on it. This study provides reference for the Physics experiments innovation using Phyphox that can also help Physics educational practitioners and researchers to improve the scope and quality of Physics learning programs
Exploration of Climate Literacy Level of High School Students In Prospective New Capital City of Indonesia
Climate change in the 21st century has become the primary concern of all the countries' leaders, including Indonesia. In education, learning related to climate change needs special attention not only on the knowledge aspect but also on the attitudes and behavior of students. East Kalimantan is one of the provinces in Indonesia, and the Indonesian government does expect it to be the new nation's capital. This research is descriptive analysis research. This research aims to determine students' level of climate literacy in aspects of basic knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. The survey does conduct on 240 students of grade 12th students from eight different schools in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire divided into three aspects: basic knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. In the basic knowledge aspect, the questionnaire consists of 15 questions with a Guttman scale (true-false). Each questionnaire consists of 10 statements with a Likert scale in attitude and behavior. The results showed that students' level of climate literacy in the basic knowledge aspect was only in the sufficient category, and the attitude and behavior aspects were in the high category. Although, in general, the level of student climate literacy in the aspects of attitude and behavior is in the high category, there are still some students classified at the low level. We conclude that students' climate literacy still needs to be improved in terms of basic knowledge and aspects of attitude and behavior to prevent the future negative impacts of climate change
Pembelajaran Materi Optika Berbasis Keterampilan Proses Sains terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa pendidikan fisika pada pembelajaran materi optika berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, Desian penelitian yang digunakan adalah one grup pretest-posttest. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika yang berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah kognitif mahasiswa. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalized gain dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika setelah diterapkan pembelajaran materi optika berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai n-gain sebesar 0,95 dengan kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Proses sains; Materi Optika; Hasil Belajar The Learning of Optics Based on Science Process Skills to the Improvement of the Learning Outcomes of Physics Education StudentsABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the improvement of the learning outcomes of physics education students in learning optics based on science process skills. The research method used was quantitative. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest. The population and sample used were 11 students in the fourth semester of the Physics Education Study Program. The data collection technique used was a test technique to measure student cognitive learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used in this study was a normalized gain test and t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of physics education students after applying optics learning based on science process skills. This could be seen in the high category's n-gain value of 0.95
The Effectiveness of The Implementation of The Gold Standard Project Based Learning Model to Increase The Digital Literacy Index of Teachers
One way to improve the quality of learning today is the use of various types of digital media in learning properly and correctly, which is known as school digitization. To support this program, it is necessary to carry out various activities for teachers to be able to improve their index and digital literacy skills. This study aims to find out how the index level and digital literacy skills of teachers after being given training and assistance with the Gold Standard Project Based Learning (GS-PjBL) model. The study was conducted on 20 teachers who participated in online and offline education and training activities. The research data was taken using two google form-based questionnaires, namely (i) a digital literacy index questionnaire, (ii) a digital literacy skills questionnaire given before and after training and mentoring activities. Based on the results of the analysis, there was an increase in the percentage of the digital literacy index before and after the activity which was marked by the Gain value. Based on the results of the analysis, the increase in the digital literacy index is in the medium and low categories. Therefore, the impact is seen that there is an increase in the index and literacy skills of the teacher group in Makassar City after participating in training and mentoring activities with the GS-PjBL model
Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Berbasis Sastra Anak dan Pendidikan Karakter Untuk Sekolah Dasar
Riset dan pengembangan ini bertujuan menciptakan bahan ajar berbasis sastra anak dan pendidikan karakter yang layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar khususnya di SD Negeri Inpres Hartaco Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan metode deskriptif dan eksperimen. Desain pengembangannya menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi empat langkah yaitu: (1) tahap prapengembangan (perencanaan), (2) tahap pengembangan produk, (3) tahap uji kelayakan produk, dan (4) tahap pascapengembangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen pedoman observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif dan teknik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak, efektif, dan praktis digunakan untuk siswa kelas IV khususnya di SD Negeri Inpres Hartaco Makassar. Rata-rata hasil uji kelayakan bahan ajar oleh ahli materi sebesar 3,92 dengan kategori baik. Rata-rata hasil uji kelayakan bahan ajar oleh media sebesar 4,75 dengan kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata hasil uji kelayakan bahan ajar oleh subjek uji coba sebesar 4,14 dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung = 3,15 lebih besar dari ttabel = 2,007. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang menggunakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dibandingkan peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan bahan ajar. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan efektif untuk dipergunakan sebagai pengangan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Rata-rata kemandirian belajar siswa sebesar 78,54 dengan kategori mandiri. Artinya, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan praktis untuk digunakan oleh siswa guna meningkatkan kemandirian belajarnya
