    The Role of Digital Content in the Sustainability of the Food and Beverage (F&B) Industry

    The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry is experiencing dynamic growth, particularly in the coffee shop sector. The rapid expansion of coffee shops has intensified competition, influencing consumer purchase decisions. The evolving digital marketing landscape has enabled consumers to engage with digital content—namely Firm Generated Content (FGC) and User Generated Content (UGC)—which can enhance perceived value and subsequently drive purchasing behavior. Although both FGC and UGC have become increasingly prevalent, their distinct impacts merit further investigation. This study employed a survey method targeting individuals who have purchased coffee shop products in Pontianak. Quantitative data were collected and analyzed to support generalization through statistical evidence. A purposive sampling technique was used, requiring respondents to meet specific criteria. The analytical tool applied was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The findings indicate that both FGC and UGC have a positive and significant influence on perceived value. Furthermore, FGC, UGC, and perceived value each positively and significantly affect purchase decisions. In terms of mediation, perceived value is proven to mediate the relationship between FGC and UGC with purchase decision

    Optimisation of Rice Production on Tidal Lands through Ameliorant Technology

    The research aims to identify organic ameliorant technology for increasing rice production in tidal areas. This research used a Completely Randomized Design method with 7 treatment levels were repeated 3 times. Ameliorant technology includes: A0 (Dolomite 10 tons/ha) A1 (husk charcoal 10 tons/ha), A2 (rice straw at a dose of 10 tons/ha), A3 (cow manure at a dose of 10 tons/ha), A4 (husk charcoal 10 tons/ha + Trichoderma 600 kg/ha), A5 (rice straw 10 tons/ha + Trichoderma 600 kg/ha), and A6 (cow manure at a dose of 10 tonnes/ha + Trichoderma 600 kg/ha). The rice seeds used were the Inpari 24 variety. The results of the research showed that the Amelioran technology treatment had no significant effect on plant growth observations, namely, plant height and number of rice tillers. Treatment A3 (10 tons/ha cow manure) had the highest average plant height of 102.52 cm. Treatment A6 (cow manure 4 kg/plot + Trichoderma 240 g) had the lowest plant height, namely 89.93 cm. Treatment A1 (Charcoal husk 10 tons/ha) had the highest average number of tillers at 35.3 tillers. Treatment A6 (4 kg cow manure + 240 g Trichoderma/plot) had the lowest number of calves, namely 21.7. This was thought to be due to the framing effect, namely complex interactions between living organisms in the soil, both those in cow manure and Trichoderma. The negative framing effect that occurs is that plant growth is hampered, and some plants have stem rot, which causes some plants to wilt and die

    Efektivitas Penggunaan Aplikasi Canva terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Poster Iklan Siswa Kelas VIII SMP

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Canva sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan menulis poster iklan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent control group design, yang melibatkan dua kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Canva sebagai media pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks poster iklan siswa kelas VIII SMP. Berdasarkan analisis data, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 80 menjadi 85, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya naik dari 70 menjadi 77. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga memenuhi syarat untuk dilakukan uji-t. Hasil uji-t dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) membuktikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok, yang berarti pembelajaran menggunakan Canva lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional tanpa media digital. Penerapan Canva tidak hanya membantu siswa mengombinasikan unsur visual dan teks secara kreatif, tetapi juga meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar mereka dalam menulis poster iklan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya pada materi menulis kreatif, ini berarti penggunaan Canva dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif bagi guru untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual guna mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21

    The "VLOKS" Geometrical Thinking Model of Students in Relation to Meaningful Learning Processes and Teacher Pedagogy

    Understanding geometry is an essential aspect of mathematics learning as it plays a central role in developing students’ spatial, visual, and logical reasoning abilities. However, previous studies indicate that students often encounter difficulties in comprehending geometric concepts deeply due to learning approaches that remain largely procedural and insufficiently emphasize visualization or conceptual connections. This study aims to explore students’ geometric thinking profiles through the VLOKS model (Visual, Literational, Operational, Correlational, Spatial), examine their perceptions of meaningful learning, and analyze the relationship between geometric thinking abilities and teachers’ pedagogical competence. A mixed-methods approach was employed using a sequential explanatory design, beginning with quantitative data collection through a VLOKS-based geometric thinking test and a meaningful learning questionnaire, followed by qualitative data through classroom observations of teachers’ pedagogy and in-depth interviews. The research subjects consisted of 33 tenth-grade students at SMAN 7 Pontianak and 31 students at SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat, along with mathematics teachers applying meaningful learning approaches. The findings reveal that students at SMAN 7 Pontianak achieved a moderate average score (70.4%), with their strongest performance in the literational dimension (79%), while their weaknesses were found in the operational (67%) and correlational dimensions, partly due to technical aspects of the test items. In contrast, students at SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat attained a relatively low average score (31.6%) across all VLOKS dimensions without significant dominance in any particular aspect. Qualitative data further indicate that teachers in both schools attempted to implement meaningful learning through contextual approaches, problem-based learning, and remedial strategies, though the implementation proved more effective at SMAN 7 than at SMAN 2. This study concludes that integrating the VLOKS model, meaningful learning processes, and teachers’ pedagogical competence significantly strengthens students’ understanding of geometry, highlighting the need for contextual, reflective, and adaptive instructional designs aligned with students’ thinking processes within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum.Model Berpikir Geometris “VLOKS” Siswa Dikaitkan Dengan Proses Pembelajaran Bermakna Dan Pedagogis GuruABSTRAKPemahaman terhadap geometri merupakan aspek penting dalam pembelajaran matematika karena berperan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan spasial, visual, serta berpikir logis siswa, namun berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kerap mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep geometri secara mendalam akibat pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih dominan bersifat prosedural dan kurang menekankan visualisasi maupun koneksi antar konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi profil berpikir geometris siswa melalui model VLOKS (Visual, Literasional, Operasional, Korelasional, Spasial), mengkaji persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran bermakna, serta menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir geometris dengan kompetensi pedagogis guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain eksplanatoris sekuensial, dimulai dari pengumpulan data kuantitatif melalui tes kemampuan berpikir geometris berbasis VLOKS dan kuesioner pembelajaran bermakna, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan data kualitatif berupa observasi pedagogis guru dan wawancara mendalam. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di SMAN 7 Pontianak (33 siswa) dan SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat (31 siswa), serta guru matematika yang menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran bermakna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMAN 7 Pontianak memiliki capaian rata-rata cukup baik (70,4%), dengan kekuatan utama pada dimensi literasional (79%), sementara kelemahan terdapat pada dimensi operasional (67%) dan korelasional akibat faktor teknis soal. Sebaliknya, siswa SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat memperoleh rata-rata skor rendah (31,6%) pada seluruh dimensi VLOKS tanpa ada dominasi yang signifikan. Data kualitatif mengungkap bahwa guru di kedua sekolah telah berupaya menerapkan pembelajaran bermakna melalui pendekatan kontekstual, problem-based learning, serta strategi remedial, namun implementasinya lebih efektif di SMAN 7 dibandingkan di SMAN 2 Teluk Keramat. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi antara VLOKS, pembelajaran bermakna, dan kompetensi pedagogis guru berkontribusi penting terhadap penguatan pemahaman geometri siswa, serta menekankan perlunya pengembangan desain pembelajaran yang kontekstual, reflektif, dan adaptif terhadap cara berpikir siswa dalam kerangka Kurikulum Merdeka.Kata Kunci :Model Berpikir Geometris “VLOKS”; Proses Pembelajaran Bermakna; Pedagogis Gur

    Penelitian ini berfokus pada kajian kesantunan berbahasa pada era digital antara mahasiswa dan dosen di Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan  dengan menggunakan media whatsapp dengan menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Data utama dikumpulkan berupa ujaran-ujaran yang langsung dari percakapan dosen dan mahasiswa melalui whatsapp. Data yang berupa kata-kata atau teks tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan hasil analisis  berupa penggambaran atau deskriptif. Untuk mendapatkan data yang sah dan valid, dilakukan uji validitas data yang berupa triangulasi data menurut berbagai sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan penanda kesantunan oleh mahasiswa dan dosen berupa penanda  menyapa dan menawarkan bantuan, menyetujui, ucapan terima kasih,meminta,meminta maaf, memberi pujian, memberi peringatan,memberi saran alternatif, menginformasikan, menolak dan  memberi perintah. Mahasiswa juga menggunakan emoticon. Emoticon digunakan untuk menggantikan Intonasi dan ekspresi wajah: dalam komunikasi tatap muka, intonasi suara dan ekspresi wajah. Emoticon berfungsi sebagai pengganti visual dari elemen-elemen tersebut, membantu menyampaikan nada yang dimaksud. Selain itu emoticon digunakan mahasiswa untuk mengurangi kesan kasar atau negatif

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, tujuan, dan fungsi ironi yang muncul dalam debat calon presiden Indonesia tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan model analisis isi dan tematik.Data berupa tuturan para kandidat diambil dari rekaman video keseluruhan debat yang ditayangkan melalui kanal YouTube resmi Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 152 temuan ironi yang terbagi menjadi tiga bentuk: 63 ironi verbal, 38 ironi dramatis, dan 51 ironi situasional. Tujuan penggunaan ironi meliputi mengkritik lawan, membangun citra diri, menciptakan kedekatan dengan publik, menggiring opini sosial, serta menunjukkan inklusivitas. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur yang ditemukan meliputi representatif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, dan deklaratif, dengan dominasi pada fungsi representatif. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa ironi dalam debat capres berperan sebagai strategi retoris sekaligus instrumen politik yang efektif untuk memengaruhi opini publik dan memperkuat citra kandidat

    ENHANCING STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILLS THROUGH STORYTELLING ON TIKTOK

    This study aims to improve the speaking skills of students in class X.10 at SMAN 3 Pontianak by applying storytelling techniques through the use of TikTok. This study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method and involved 34 students as participants. The study was conducted in two cycles, with adjustments made to the implementation based on the difficulties identified in the first cycle to encourage application and adjustment in the second cycle, thus improving the overall results. The results of the study showed a positive impact on students' speaking skills after implementing storytelling activities through TikTok. This improvement was reflected in both the learning process and learning outcomes. Throughout the process, students demonstrate greater focus, enthusiasm, and participation in classroom activities. These results indicate that digital platforms like TikTok can function not only as entertainment tools but also as innovative and relevant media for improving English speaking skills in an educational context

    MODEL SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING (SDL) BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKS BERITA

    Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan melimpahnya arus berita digital menuntut peserta didik memiliki kemampuan literasi informasi, berpikir kritis, dan kemandirian belajar dalam memahami teks berita. Namun, pembelajaran teks berita di sekolah masih cenderung berorientasi pada penguasaan struktur dan kebahasaan, serta belum secara optimal mendorong pembelajaran mandiri dan penguatan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning (SDL) pada materi teks berita dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal sebagai konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan sintesis teoretis terhadap konsep SDL, pembelajaran teks berita, serta integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pendidikan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik content analysis terhadap literatur utama yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan model pembelajaran SDL yang terdiri atas lima tahapan inti, yaitu kesadaran diri, manajemen diri, pemilihan strategi belajar, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan refleksi diri. Integrasi kearifan lokal dilakukan secara tematik dan metodologis melalui pemanfaatan sumber berita lokal, keterlibatan masyarakat sebagai sumber belajar, serta pengangkatan isu sosial dan budaya lokal sebagai konten pembelajaran teks berita. Model pembelajaran yang dirancang memberikan kerangka operasional bagi guru dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran teks berita yang berorientasi pada penguatan literasi informasi, kemandirian belajar, dan pembentukan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai lokal. Dengan demikian, model SDL ini berpotensi menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didi

    Trends of Physics Education Research on The Topic of Mechanics: A Bibliometric Analysis

    This study aims to map the publication trends of international journal articles related to the topic of mechanics in physics education using bibliometric analysis of the Scopus database. Bibliometric analysis was conducted on the Scopus database with the help of the RStudio application with the biblioshiny package. We analyzed 196 relevant documents filtered with various settings that support the research objectives. The analysis showed a rapid increase in the number of publications on mechanics in physics education since the 2000s (102 articles recorded in 2012–2021), driven by the development of quantitative methods. Physics Education, Physics Teacher, and Revista Brasileira de Ensino de Fisica were the journals with the most contributions. Active author mapping identified Pendrill A-M, Fones SW, and Rieber LP as the most prolific, while citation and h-index analyses showed the work of Rieber LP, Rodrigues H, Adams DM, and Gauld C as the most influential. Geographically, the United States, Brazil, and China dominated publications, with limited international collaboration.     AI-Edmodo E-Learning in Physics Learning: A Study of Students' Cognitive Ability on the Topic of Work and Energy

    Teachers have used various ways to explore innovative learning to improve students' cognitive physics skills. Edmodo is a free and secure educational learning network that provides a simple way for teachers to create and manage online classroom communities. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Edmodo application in improving students' cognitive abilities in physics on the topic of work and energy. The analysis of this study focused on cognitive abilities and student motivation in the classroom. The method used in this research is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest design using descriptive research type that aims to describe the situation/symptom or phenomenon, which is designed to obtain information in the current state. In this case, the improvement of students' cognitive abilities can be seen by using the Edmodo application. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study was class 10 in the Science department, with a total of 27 students using a random sampling technique. Data collection was done by using a physics cognitive ability test. Quantitative data of this study were obtained through objective tests (pretest-posttest) based on Bloom's Taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the application of Edmodo can improve students' cognitive abilities in physics. With the increase in students' physics cognitive abilities in learning, the learning outcomes of previously low students increased significantly. Therefore, it is recommended that AI-Edmodo improve students' physics cognitive abilities in learning physics on the topic of work and energy
