PENANAMAN NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DI PONDOK PESANTREN PUTRI UMMI KALSUM DI LINGKUNGAN MASYARAKAT BERAGAMA
This research aims to examine: 1). How is the cultivation of character values of civic education learning at the ummi kalsum Islamic boarding school in the community 2) What is the role of civic education in shaping character in Islamic boarding schools 3) What are the contributions of Islamic boarding schools to the surrounding community in terms of civic values 4) How is the practice of instilling character values in ummi kalsum Islamic boarding schools in religious communities 5) What are the obstacles in instilling character values of civic learning. This research uses purposive sampling method, where the main informants are individuals who have in-depth understanding and direct involvement in the research context. The research subjects include Civic Education teachers, ustazahs of care, and santri wati. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive method, which involved the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the cultivation of character values at the Ummi Kalsum Islamic Boarding School took place effectively both in the pesantren environment and the surrounding community. Citizenship Education plays an important role in shaping the character of religious, nationalist, and tolerant santri. Islamic boarding schools also make a significant contribution in strengthening civic values in society, especially in the context of religious diversity. However, this study found a number of obstacles, such as limited communication between the pesantren and parents and the varied attitudes of santri in accepting character values. Pesantren Putri Ummi Kalsum as the only pesantren in Nias Islands with a majority of non-Muslim communities, still strives to maintain and develop character education within the existing limitations
Mathematics Learning Innovation: Interactive Learning Videos to Increase Student Learning Activity and Motivation
This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using interactive learning videos in increasing students' activeness and motivation in mathematics. Student activeness and motivation are important factors in the teaching and learning process, especially in the context of mathematics education which is often considered challenging. The method used in this study is a literature review, with an analysis of 23 relevant research articles published between 2022 and 2024. The articles obtained were searched on the Google database and used publish or perish. The results of the study indicate that several studies have proven that interactive learning videos can increase student participation in class discussions and collaboration in group activities. Students who use this media feel more involved and enthusiastic in following lessons, which has a positive impact on understanding abstract mathematical concepts. In addition, interesting learning videos can create a fun learning atmosphere, so that students are more motivated to learn. This finding is in line with the opinions of previous researchers who stated that the use of technology in learning can increase student engagement. The main conclusion of this study is that the integration of interactive learning videos is an effective strategy to create a dynamic learning atmosphere and increase student motivation and activeness in learning mathematics. Therefore, it is recommended for educators to apply this method in the learning process in order to achieve better results and meet students' needs in understanding mathematics materials more deeply. Thus, this study provides an important contribution to the development of innovative and relevant learning methods in today's digital era, as well as opening up opportunities for further research on the use of technology in education. Inovasi Pembelajaran Matematika : Video Pembelajaran Interaktif Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Motivasi Belajar SiswaABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar siswa di mata pelajaran matematika. Keaktifan dan motivasi siswa menjadi faktor penting dalam proses belajar mengajar, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan matematika yang sering dianggap menantang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian studi literatur, dengan analisis terhadap 23 artikel penelitian yang relevan yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2022 hingga 2024. Artikel yang diperoleh dilakukan pencarian pada google database dan penggunaan publish or perish. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa penelitian sudah membuktikan bahwa video pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi kelas dan kolaborasi dalam kegiatan kelompok. Siswa yang menggunakan media ini merasa lebih terlibat dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran, yang berdampak positif pada pemahaman konsep-konsep matematika yang abstrak. Selain itu, video pembelajaran yang menarik dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar. Temuan ini sejalan dengan pendapat para peneliti sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Simpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi video pembelajaran interaktif merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang dinamis dan meningkatkan motivasi serta keaktifan siswa dalam belajar matematika. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bagi pendidik untuk menerapkan metode ini dalam proses pembelajaran guna mencapai hasil yang lebih baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dalam memahami materi matematika secara lebih mendalam. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dalam era digital saat ini, serta membuka peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan.Kata Kunci : video interaktif; motivasi; keaktifan; inovasi pembelajara
ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN PENGEMBANGAN WEBSITE MATERI PERSEBARAN MEGALITIKUM PADA MATA KULIAH SEJARAH LOKAL DI SUMATERA SELATAN
This research aims to conduct a needs analysis of website learning resources for material on the distribution of megaliths in local history courses in South Sumatra. Technological advances have a significant impact on life that cannot be avoided, because science and technology has many benefits that make human work easier quickly and practically. Science and technology has a big influence in various fields, one of which is education. Education really needs new innovations in the form of technology created to improve the quality and quality of students. At this stage the researcher collected data related to learning resources on megalithic distribution websites in the local history course. The research method chosen in this research is research and development (R&D). The subjects in this research were 234 History Education students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Researchers distributed questionnaires to students via Google Forms. The data analysis technique used by researchers is interactive data analysis technique. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that 50.4% of students stated the importance of learning local history, 51.7% needed local history learning resources, 64.5% liked audiovisual media, 66.2% had internet access, 99.1% needed websites and 50. 9% need a video feature on the website. THE INFLUENCE OF SELF-DEVELOPMENT, POTENTIAL, AND POLICY ON THE COMPETENCE OF PE TEACHERS
PE (Physical Education) teachers play a role in shaping students who are physically and mentally healthy, and social. Adequate teacher competence is needed, although challenges such as self-development, technology utilization, and policy support still exist. This study analyzes the influence of self-development, potential, and educational policies on the competence of PE teachers in Pasaman Barat using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results showed that self-development had a significant effect on teacher competence with a coefficient of 0.585 and also increased teacher potential (coefficient 0.765). Potential plays a role as a mediation variable with a significant influence (0.442) on competence. However, education policy did not show a significant direct influence on competence (coefficient 0.015) but contributed to an increase in potency (0.119). These findings emphasize the importance of continuous self-development programs and more effective policy support to improve the competence of PE teachers
Development of Physics Laboratory Assistance to Improve Higher Order Thinking Skills in Simple Harmonic Motion for High School Students
This study aims to (1) produce Physics Laboratory Assistance (PLA) that is suitable for use, (2) determine the percentage of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) using PLA, (3) describe students' HOTS using Rasch modelling analysis, (4) determine the effectiveness of students' HOTS on simple harmonic motion materials in learning. This type of research was research and development (R&D) adapted according to the Borg & Gall model. Data collection used interviews, questionnaires, and test methods. The subjects in this research were students of class X IPA1 MA Ushuluddin Singkawang, X IPA1 and X IPA2 SMAN 1 Selakau. The instrument was declared to be valid in terms of content and empirically by following the analysis of Rasch modelling with the help of the Winstep 3.37 program. The results of the content validation showed that PLA was feasible to use with an average score of 3.61 in the excellent category. The percentage of HOTS of students was analyzed using the Microsoft Excel application in the extensive trial of the experimental class and the control class with an average pretest score of 38.90 and posttest of 39.90. The description of the student's HOTS was analyzed using Rasch modelling, it was obtained that the ability to evaluate is the ability that is most mastered by the student, then create and analyze. The effectiveness of HOTS in students was known to use PLA in learning using effect size obtained in a limited trial of 0.14 and a broad trial of 0.15 with a low category
Implementasi Sharing Economy guna mendorong usaha pada sektor logistik
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis suatu penerapan konsep ekonomi berbagi (sharing economy) dalam mendorong pertumbuhan perusahaan rintisan di sektor logistik Indonesia. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik studi kasus pada 3 startup logistik di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sharing economy memberikan sejumlah peluang pertumbuhan melalui efisiensi biaya operasional dan penerapan model bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Namun, kesuksesan implementasi sharing economy juga menghadapi tantangan regulasi yang belum jelas, kualitas SDM yang terbatas, serta mitra kerja yang terbatas. Diperlukan dorongan kebijakan pemerintah, peningkatan kualitas SDM, akses pendanaan, serta kemitraan bisnis lintas sektoral agar startup logistik berbasis sharing economy dapat berkembang secara maksimal di Indonesia
Pembelajaran Berbasis TPACK Berbantuan Program Crocodile Physics terhadap Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Fisika
Mahasiswa sebagai calon guru Fisika profesional yang kompeten haruslah memiliki pemahaman konsep serta keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Fisika, karena banyak kejadian atau fenomena yang terdapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan lingkungan sekitar yang sangat berkaitan dengan Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep Fisika mahasiswa, dan melatih keterampilan praktikum dalam Laboratorium Virtual melalui penggunaan program Crocodile Physics dengan pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas untuk diteliti yang diberi perlakuan dengan memanfaatkan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Fisika Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) melakukan treatment, kemudian untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa dilakukan uji t dan N-Gain. Hasil analisis data untuk uji t berpasangan dilakukan dengan SPSS, dengan hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar <0,001 kurang dari 0,05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara pre-test dan post-test. Kemudian hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa memperoleh kriteria tinggi dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,71. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dalam penggunaan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis TPACK.Kata Kunci:TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge); Pemahaman Konsep; Crocodile PhysicsTPACK-Based Learning Assisted by the Crocodile Physics Program to Improve the Understanding of Physics ConceptsABSTRACTStudents as prospective competent professional Physics teachers must have an understanding of concepts and skills in learning Physics because many events or phenomena are contained in daily life and the surrounding environment that are closely related to Physics. This research aims to improve students' ability to understand Physics concepts and train practicum skills in the Virtual Laboratory through the use of the Crocodile Physics program with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach. This type of research was descriptive research. This study used one class to be researched which was treated by utilizing the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium. The research subjects were 23 students of the Physics Education Study Program for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Data collection was carried out twice, namely before (pretest) and after (post-test) treatment, then to see an improvement in student's understanding of physics concepts, t-test and N-Gain were carried out. The results of data analysis for the paired t-test were carried out with SPSS, with the results of the sig value. (2-tailed) is <0.001 less than 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), meaning that there was a real difference between the pre-test and post-test. Then the results of the data analysis showed that the improvement in students’ understanding of concepts obtained high criteria with an N-Gain score of 0.71. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a positive influence in the use of the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium in improving the ability of conceptual understanding using a TPACK-based approach
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA DIORAMA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA MATERI EKOSISTEM PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 13 SINGKAWANG
This study aims to (1) To determine the differences in the ability to understand science concepts of grade V students of SDN 13 Singkawang between the control and experimental classes, (2) To determine the effect of Diorama media on the Ability to Understand Science Concepts of students in grade V of SDN 13 Singkawang, (3) To determine students' responses to the use of diorama media in science learning for students in grade V of SDN 13 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study were all grade V students of SDN 13 Singkawang, totaling 47 people. Sampling in the study used a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used test sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was a two-sample t-test and the results of the study showed that: (1). There is a difference in the Science Concept Understanding Ability of class V students of SDN 13 Singkawang between the control and experimental classes, this is shown by the results of t count 3.591 and t table 2.069. (2). The magnitude of the influence of Diorama Media on the Ability to Understand Science Concepts of students in class V of SD Negeri 13 Singkawang. This is proven by the results of the Effect Size test which shows that the value is 0,4, based on the criteria the value is 0,4 < 0,8, which means it is included in the medium criteria. (3) The student response questionnaire showed a very good response, as evidenced by the results of the percentage calculation getting a result of 82%
Developing of Thesis Guidance Learning Media Using The Five Stage Model (MANTAP) in French Language Study Program
The COVID-19 pandemic has been proven to have a significant impact on changes in various aspects of human life, including education. One group that is specifically affected is final semester students who face challenges in the thesis preparation process due to the large-scale social restriction (PSBB) policy in Indonesia. With limited social interaction and face- to-face learning, the thesis guidance process becomes more complex, increasing the psychological and academic burden for students. including the thesis supervision process for French Language Students at Medan State University. As an alternative solution, research was carried out by examining the use of GitHub as a cloud storage medium and Telegram as a communication platform to speed up the thesis guidance process, where when students make corrective changes to the thesis files contained in Github, the lecturer will automatically get the information via notification on Telegram. This research uses the MANTAP model in system development, where the results of each stage will become input for the next stage so that the process of improving each other occurs. The test results of the real-time notification system show that the notification messages to lecturers and students are completely accurate, namely 100%, meaning that every change made to the thesis file on Github will be notified automatically by Telegram. Apart from that, from measuring the system response time with 2 scenarios, it was found that the average response time was very good based on QoS (Quality of Service) standards, namely 0.47 ms for scenario 1 and 0.82 ms for scenario 2, this difference is the average response time for scenario 1 and scenario 2 This occurs due to differences in internet speed for each collabator which has an impact on differences in response time obtained
Penerapan “Katalog Elektronik” dalam Optimalisasi Peran Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Kota Pontianak untuk Menumbuhkan Minat Baca
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi penerapan "Katalog Elektronik" dalam meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat Kota Pontianak dengan memfokuskan peran taman bacaan sebagai pusat informasi dan pengetahuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, dengan data yang mencakup persepsi masyarakat terhadap minat baca, tantangan aksesibilitas bahan bacaan, serta tanggapan terhadap konsep "Katalog Elektronik". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi ini dapat efektif meningkatkan akses terhadap beragam materi bacaan dan memfasilitasi pencarian informasi yang relevan, sehingga memperkuat peran taman bacaan sebagai pusat komunitas yang dinamis dan interaktif dalam mengembangkan minat baca di lingkungan masyarakat Kota Pontianak
