The Influence Of Emotions, Motivation And Self-Control On Athlete Concentration At Sakato Semen Padang College
Get PDFThe problem in this research is the athlete's lack of concentration when competing during the pandemic. The aim of this research is to determine the direct and indirect influence of emotional levels, motivation and self-control on athletes' concentration. This type of research is correlational using the path analysis method. The population in this study were female athletes, sampling used purposive sampling, totaling 30 female athletes. The test instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire of emotionality, motivation, self-control and concentration. The data analysis technique uses Path Analysis with α = 0.05. The results of the research are: (1) There is a direct emotional influence on athlete concentration during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau training in Padang City, which is 9.12%. (2) There is a direct effect of motivation on the concentration of athletes during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau Training Center, Padang City, which is 6.30%. (3) There is a direct influence of the Self-Mastery variable on Athlete Concentration during the pandemic at the Sakato Minang Kabau Training Center, Padang City, which is 9.24%. (4) There is an indirect influence of Emotion on Concentration through Self-Mastery of 16.81%. (5) There is an indirect effect of motivation on concentration through style of 8.35%. (6) There is an indirect influence of Emotion on Concentration of 15.1%
Analisis Kesulitan Menulis Puisi Bebas Siswa Kelas V SDN Sanggarahan
Get PDFThis research was designed using qualitative research method with case study type. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the difficulties of students in writing free poetry and to find out the influence of language skills and vocabulary on the quality of poetry written by grade V students of SDN Sanggrahan. The subjects of this study were 13 fifth grade students. Data collection used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research was conducted in January - February 2025. This study shows the results that there are still difficulties in writing free poetry. This can be seen in the results of students' free poetry, most students write free poetry without using diction, imagery, inappropriate language style, rhyme, and rhythm. As a result, the results of students' poetry writing do not show the overall physical and inner structure of free poetry. As well as the lack of vocabulary mastery and language skills make poetry writing less than optimal

Get PDFThis study analyzes the factors influencing students' decisions to pursue postgraduate education, specifically in the Social Sciences Education Study Program (PIPS) at Almuslim University. The primary focus is to identify the role of factors such as motivation for career advancement and educational costs in shaping students' decisions. The research design of this study was survey research using the exploratory approach and factors analysis. The subjects of the study were all students at Social Science Education of postgraduate Program at Almuslim University in period 2023. The findings revealed that the drive to enhance competence and credibility to increase career opportunities is a key motivation for students to continue their education. Career advancement often serves as a significant motivator, especially since a postgraduate degree is frequently regarded as a critical requirement for higher positions. Additionally, the cost of education, both direct and indirect, is shown to be a crucial factor affecting students' decisions. Financial constraints often pose a barrier for those wishing to pursue further studies, although adequate financial support can alleviate such concerns. The study's findings imply the need to improve access to financial support, such as scholarships and education loans, as well as to strengthen policies that promote higher education as a criterion for career advancement. Recommendations are directed to the government and educational institutions to expand scholarship programs and educate students about the importance of postgraduate education for career development
Penerapan Media Komik Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Syariah Di SMKN 3 Depok
No full textPendidikan di Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, khususnya pada aspek motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu inovasi yang potensial adalah penggunaan media komik, yang memiliki daya tarik visual dan naratif untuk menyederhanakan konsep kompleks agar lebih mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas media komik dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi Syariah di SMK Negeri 3 Depok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan motivasi belajar siswa (p < 0,05) dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,903, serta peningkatan signifikan hasil belajar siswa (p < 0,05) dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,926. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media komik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat bantu visual, tetapi juga sebagai jembatan konseptual yang menghubungkan materi abstrak dengan pengalaman siswa. Dengan demikian, media komik dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, serta relevan dalam membentuk peserta didik yang aktif, kreatif, dan bermotivasi tinggi
Shooting Skills As Part Of The Psychomotor Learning Of Students
Get PDFPetanque is a precision sport that has gained popularity, especially among adolescent to adult athletes. One of the most challenging skills to master in petanque is the shooting technique, which requires optimal hand-eye coordination, concentration, and anthropometric factors such as arm length. This study aims to examine the influence of arm length, hand-eye coordination, and concentration on the shooting ability of petanque athletes in West Sumatra. This quantitative study employed a path analysis approach. The research was conducted in February 2025 at the Sports Field of the Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University. The population consisted of all 40 petanque athletes from West Sumatra, selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments included an arm length test, a tennis ball throw-and-catch test (hand-eye coordination), the Grid Concentration Test, and a petanque shooting test. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling at a significance level of α = 0.05. The findings revealed that: (1) arm length had a direct and significant effect of 6.30% on shooting ability; (2) hand-eye coordination had a direct and significant effect of 20.9%; (3) concentration had a direct and significant effect of 8.53%; (4) arm length had an indirect effect of 12.18% through concentration; (5) hand-eye coordination had an indirect effect of 31.14% through concentration; and (6) collectively, arm length, hand-eye coordination, and concentration had a significant combined effect of 44.89% on the shooting ability of West Sumatran petanque athlete
The Influence of Video Media on Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Third Grade Students in Elementary School
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the effect of video media on students' motivation and learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade III at SD Negeri 34 Simpang Haru. Motivated by the low motivation and achievement levels among students and the limited use of interactive media, this quasi-experimental study used a Posttest-Only Control Group Design involving 52 students divided into an experimental group (video media) and a control group (PowerPoint media). Data were collected using motivation questionnaires and objective tests and analyzed using t-tests and Two-Way ANOVA. The results showed that video media significantly improved motivation (p = 0.000) and learning outcomes (p = 0.002) in the experimental group. Furthermore, there were significant differences between the two groups in both motivation (p = 0.000) and learning outcomes (p = 0.020). The Two-Way ANOVA also revealed significant interaction effects between media type and class group on motivation (F = 618.221; η² = 0.925) and learning outcomes (F = 5.809; η² = 0.104). These findings suggest that video media is an effective tool for enhancing learning, especially when aligned with classroom condition
Exploring Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara as Local Wisdom in Primary School: Integrating Cultural Education Through Local Content Learning

As a result, students often consume dawet ayu without understanding its cultural significance, production process, or historical context rooted in local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the form, role, and urgency of integrating Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara as local content in education, focusing on its cultural value, economic potential, and relevance in entrepreneurship. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing triangulation techniques to ensure data validity, and analyzed through the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that educational efforts involving dawet ayu—through careful planning, implementation, and evaluation—can significantly enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in local content education. Moreover, this integration is vital as it supports the preservation of cultural heritage, strengthens economic awareness, fosters entrepreneurial spirit, and cultivates a sense of national identity among students
The Contribution of Achievement Motivation, Use of Information Technology, and Learning Outcomes of Creative Entrepreneurial Products on Interest in Entrepreneurship
Get PDFEntrepreneurship education in vocational high schools plays a crucial role in shaping students to become independent and innovative individuals capable of creating their own businesses. However, many students still show a low level of interest in entrepreneurship, which calls for an investigation into the influencing factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of achievement motivation and the use of information technology on students’ entrepreneurial interest, either directly or indirectly through entrepreneurial learning outcomes. The research was conducted using a quantitative correlational method involving 125 students from SMKN 2 Merangin during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires measuring achievement motivation, technology use, and entrepreneurial interest. Students' learning outcomes were obtained from their average scores in the subject "Productive Creative Entrepreneurship." Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and path analysis with the help of RStudio. The results showed that both achievement motivation and information technology use had a significant positive effect on students’ entrepreneurial learning outcomes and their interest in entrepreneurship. Specifically, learning outcomes acted as a mediating variable, enhancing the influence of both independent variables on entrepreneurial interest. The path analysis indicated that the total effects of achievement motivation and technology use on entrepreneurial interest were 0.31 and 0.29, respectively, with a direct contribution from learning outcomes of 0.32. In conclusion, achievement motivation and the use of information technology significantly influence students’ entrepreneurial interest, with entrepreneurial learning outcomes serving as an important mediating factor. Get PDFThe learning of literary is very important because with literary, students can develop thinking abilities, skills, and increase sensitivity through character. However, literary learning is often only a supporting material for Bahasa Indonesia which tend to be ignored. This research aims to reveal the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of literary learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with primary data sources being information obtained from teachers and students of five high schools in East Belitung Regency through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data sources are obtained through analysis of documents accompanying learning, such as modules and evaluation result data. The data were then analysed using the Miles, Huberman and Saldana model. The results of the analysis show that literary learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka has strengths, namely being bound by the curriculum, innovative learning strategies, and technological support. The weaknesses of literary learning lie in the small portion of material, shallow learning, and technology without restrictions. The opportunities for literary learning lie in teacher flexibility and school support. The threats to literary learning that pose a challenge are suboptimal literary learning outcomes, low teacher competence, motivation, and inappropriate learning objectives
Analysis of Mathematical Communication Skills Reviewed from Self-Efficacy
Get PDFEffective mathematical communication plays a crucial role in the resolution of mathematical problems. Despite efforts to enhance mathematical communication, the success rate among students remains relatively low, a situation that is closely associated with their levels of self-efficacy. The purpose of the study was to describe students' mathematical communication skills based on self-efficacy. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study consisted of seventh-grade students who had studied the material on flat shapes. According to the outcomes of the self-efficacy questionnaire, students are classified into three categories: high, medium, and low. Each category was taken by one student as a respondent with the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques include tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The analysis indicated that students exhibiting higher levels of self-efficacy displayed enhanced mathematical communication skills when compared to their peers who possessed lower levels of self-efficacy. This study revealed a significant relationship between mathematical communication and self-efficacy. Students with elevated levels of self-efficacy display enhanced proficiency in mathematical communication skills in comparison to their peers who possess medium and low levels of self-efficacy
