Strategies to Achieve Student Competence in the Culinary Skills Program in Facing Laboratory Facility Limitations
Get PDFThe success of vocational education in culinary expertise relies heavily on the availability of adequate practical facilities, particularly laboratory infrastructure. However, SMKN 3 Kota Solok faces significant limitations in this area, which hinder students’ ability to achieve optimal competency. This study aims to formulate strategies for enhancing student competency in the culinary program despite laboratory constraints. Using a qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that while internal strengths include committed educators and supportive curricula, weaknesses such as limited space and tools reduce practical learning effectiveness. External opportunities, such as industry collaboration and digital learning platforms, offer pathways for improvement, whereas threats include low graduate absorption in the culinary sector. Strategies developed include optimizing practice rotation, strengthening project-based learning, and increasing industry partnerships. The research concludes that strategic adaptation can significantly improve student competency outcomes even amid facility limitation
The Impact of the Implementation of the Tai Type Cooperative Learning Model on Mathematics Learning Outcomes at SMKN 2 Bukit Batu Flight
Get PDFThe low learning outcomes of mathematics at the Vocational High School (SMK) level is still a crucial problem in the world of education, especially in the context of conventional learning that does not involve optimal student activity. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at SMKN 2 Aviation Bukit Batu. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design method, using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The study involved two classes of 30 students each, which were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received a learning treatment using the TAI model for 12 meetings, while the control group followed conventional learning. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental group was 82.7, higher than the control group which only reached 72.5. The increase in scores from pre-test to post-test in the experimental group reached 20.3 points, while in the control group it was only 10.8 points. In addition, the level of learning completeness of students in the experimental group reached 90%, while in the control group it was only 60%. These findings show that the TAI learning model has a positive and significant influence on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the TAI type cooperative learning model is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of vocational school students, both in terms of increasing the average score and the percentage of learning completenes

This research intends to examine how the language in the lyrics of Donne Maulana's album "Daur Hidup" portrays the quarter life crisis phenomenon. This study employs qualitative research utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, which includes analysis, explanation, and description of different conditions and situations found in the gathered data to deeply investigate the phenomenon of quarter life crisis depicted in song lyrics. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data lisan atau tertulis dalam bentuk lirik lagu dari album "Daur Hidup" oleh Donne Maulana, serta sumber data dari 9 lagu yang terdapat dalam album "Daur Hidup" tersebut. Methods and processes for data gathering involve reading and writing. The study's results suggest that the lyrics of Donne Maulana's album "Daur Hidup" accurately portray the quarter life crisis, as evidenced by the signs and indicators present in the song lyrics and the internal factors affecting this phenomenon
Merdeka Curriculum and the Dimension of Faith: The Influence of Memorizing the Qur'an on Mathematics Learning Outcomes
Get PDFThe Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes flexible, student-centered learning, incorporating the dimension of Faith, Piety to God Almighty, and Noble Character, which integrates religious values into education. One manifestation of this is memorizing the Qur'an, which not only strengthens spirituality but also enhances memory and cognitive consistency. This study analyzes the relationship between the quantity of Qur'an memorization and mathematics learning outcomes at SIGM As-Sakinah. Data were collected from the final semester tasmi’ assessments for the 2023/2024 academic year and students' average midterm and final exam scores in mathematics. Prerequisite tests confirmed that the data were normally distributed and linear. Simple linear regression and ANOVA tests using SPSS 24 yielded an R value of 0.639 and an R² of 40.8%, indicating that the amount of memorization contributes to mathematics learning outcomes. The ANOVA test produced an F-value of 9.667 with a significance level of 0.008 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant relationship between variables. The regression equation Y=64.119+2.709XY = 64.119 + 2.709XY=64.119+2.709X suggests that each additional juz memorized increases mathematics learning outcomes. These findings affirm that Qur'an memorization positively contributes to students' cognitive development.Kurikulum Merdeka Dan Dimensi Keimanan: Pengaruh Hapalan Al-Qur’an Terhadap Hasil Belajar MatematikaABSTRAKKurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran fleksibel dan berpusat pada peserta didik, dengan dimensi Beriman, Bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan Berakhlak Mulia yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam pendidikan. Salah satu bentuknya adalah menghafal Al-Qur’an, yang tidak hanya memperkuat spiritualitas tetapi juga melatih daya ingat dan konsistensi kognitif. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara jumlah hafalan Al-Qur’an dengan hasil belajar matematika di SIGM As-Sakinah. Data diperoleh dari hasil tasmi’ hafalan akhir semester ganjil serta nilai rata-rata UTS dan UAS matematika. Uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan linear. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dan uji ANOVA menggunakan SPSS 24 menunjukkan nilai R = 0.639 dan R² = 40.8%, yang berarti jumlah hafalan berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Uji ANOVA menghasilkan nilai F = 9.667 dengan signifikansi 0.008 (p < 0.05), mengonfirmasi hubungan signifikan antara variabel. Persamaan regresi Y=64.119+2.709X menunjukkan bahwa setiap tambahan satu juz hafalan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Development of Animaker-Based Learning Media to Improve Students' Mathematical Reasoning Ability on Comparison Materials
Get PDFThis study aims to develop Animaker-based learning media to improve students' mathematical reasoning skills on comparison materials. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was limited to the Development stage. The research subjects were 23 8th grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Majalengka. The instruments used in this study were observation, interview, and questionnaire in the form of validation sheets and practicality sheets. The learning media developed in the form of animated videos that integrate mathematical concepts with interesting visualizations to facilitate student understanding. The results showed that Animaker-based learning media was valid with an average score of 88.5% media expert validation and 84% material expert validation. The practicality of this media is also considered very good with a teacher practicality score of 92.9% and student practicality of 90.3%. This media helps students in understanding abstract concepts to be more concrete and relevant to everyday life. This research makes a significant contribution to mathematics education by providing an innovative model for developing engaging digital learning resources that can improve students' mathematical reasoning skills.Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Animaker Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Pada Materi PerbandinganABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Animaker untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini dibatasi hingga tahap Development. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 6 Majalengka. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket berupa lembar validasi dan lembar praktikalitas. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa video animasi yang mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep matematika dengan visualisasi yang menarik untuk memudahkan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Animaker valid dengan nilai rata-rata validasi ahli media 88,5% dan validasi ahli materi 84%. Kepraktisan media ini juga dinilai sangat baik dengan skor kepraktisan guru sebesar 92,9% dan kepraktisan siswa sebesar 90,3%. Media ini membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak menjadi lebih konkrit dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pendidikan matematika dengan memberikan model inovatif untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar digital yang menarik dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa.Kata Kunci :Animaker; penalaran matematis; perbandingan.
Locomotive Game Model Training for Early Childhood
Get PDFEarly childhood is a critical period for developing motor skills, especially locomotor movements such as walking, running, and jumping. However, many parents and educators lack adequate understanding and skills to apply effective and engaging play models that support optimal motor development. This community service activity aimed to provide training for parents and educators on implementing locomotor movement play models that are enjoyable, educational, and developmentally appropriate for young children. The activity was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Kamasan, Serang–Banten, through a combination of socialization sessions, practical training, and guided play simulations involving the children. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, with average scores rising from 60.4 (pretest) to 86.6 (posttest), and the majority of participants classified in the high improvement category. Moreover, children’s motor skills improved by an average of 41.7%, particularly in jumping and coordination abilities. These findings indicate that locomotor play models are effective in enhancing the physical development of early childhood and can serve as a strategic approach integrated into early childhood education environments. The training also successfully raised awareness among parents and educators regarding the importance of physical activity as an essential component of holistic child development.Pelatihan Model Permainan Gerak Lokomotor untuk Anak Usia DiniABSTRAKMasa usia dini merupakan fase krusial dalam perkembangan keterampilan motorik anak, khususnya keterampilan gerak lokomotor seperti berjalan, berlari dan melompat. Sayangnya, banyak orang tua dan pendidik belum memiliki pemahaman serta keterampilan yang memadai dalam menerapkan model permainan yang dapat mengoptimalkan perkembangan motorik anak. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada orang tua dan pendidik tentang penerapan model permainan gerak lokomotor yang menyenangkan, edukatif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Kamasan, Serang–Banten, melalui metode sosialisasi, pelatihan praktik, dan simulasi permainan bersama anak-anak. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan peserta dari rata-rata pretest 60,4 menjadi rata-rata posttest 86,6, dengan mayoritas peserta menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kategori tinggi. Sementara itu, kemampuan motorik anak mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 41,7%, terutama pada aspek melompat dan koordinasi gerak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model permainan gerak lokomotor efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan motorik anak usia dini, serta dapat menjadi pendekatan strategis yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini. Pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua dan pendidik tentang pentingnya aktivitas fisik sebagai bagian integral dari pendidikan anak secara holistik.Kata Kunci:Anak usia dini; Gerak lokomotor; Keterampilan motori
Analisis Tindak Tutur Ilokusi pada Iklan Investasi Online Bareksa
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang digunakan pada iklan investasi online Bareksa di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu video iklan investasi online Bareksa yang didapat dari YouTube periode Oktober 2023 – November 2024. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan data ilokusi berjumlah 50 data yang meliputi asertif, direktif, komisif, dan ekspresif, sedangkan tindak tutur deklarasi tidak ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini yaitu fungsi asertif berupa menginformasikan, mengklaim, menyatakan, menegaskan, menunjukkan, mengungkapkan pendapat, dan berspekulasi; fungsi direktif berupa mengajak, memerintah, menyarankan, dan menasihati; fungsi komisif berupa berjanji; dan fungsi ekspresif berupa memedulika
Value-Based Education Model to Enhance Emotional Intelligence, Positive Character, and Fighting Techniques of Junior Tarung Derajat Athletes
Get PDFThis study addresses the low improvement in training outcomes, particularly in mastering character-intelligence and fighting skills among junior athletes in Tarung Derajat martial arts. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the BMB3 learning strategy in enhancing these aspects for early-age athletes at Kurata levels III (ages 10–12) and IV (ages 13–14). The study employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 athletes from the UNP Padang training center, selected through stratified-cluster random sampling. Data collection instruments included a Character-Intelligence Questionnaire and a Tarung Derajat fighting ability test. Descriptive statistics were used to reveal training conditions, while hypothesis testing employed the t-test. The results show: (1) a significant improvement in character-intelligence for 12-year-old athletes (Kurata III) with t = 6.22, p = 0.00; (2) a significant improvement for 14-year-old athletes (Kurata IV) with t = 11.81, p = 0.00; (3) a significant increase in fighting ability for 12-year-olds with t = 6.52, p = 0.00; and (4) a significant improvement in fighting ability for 14-year-olds with t = 7.05, p = 0.00. These findings demonstrate that the BMB3 learning strategy effectively enhances both character-intelligence and fighting skills in junior Tarung Derajat athletes
The Effectiveness Of The School Principal's Managerial Supervision On The Quality Of School Education At The Junior High School Level
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of principal supervision on the quality of school education in SMP Negeri 1 Sigli and SMP YPPU Sigli. This study uses a quantitative method using 2 variables, namely the principal's managerial supervision variable (X), and the quality of education (Y). The participants consisted of 4 people, including 1 Principal of SMP Negeri 1 Sigli and SMP YPPU Sigli, as well as 2 supervisors, and the Head of Curriculum as a teacher selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used consist of two kinds, namely interview techniques, and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis techniques use prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.644 showed a high relationship between principals' managerial supervision and education quality. The principal's managerial supervision variable affects the education quality variable by 41.4%. The implication of this research shows that principals' management supervision is effective in improving the quality of school education
