Application of Concept Maps and Critical Thinking Ability to Improve Writing Reports
Get PDFThis study was conducted in class VIII C SMP 21 Pontianak City in 2015/2016. The study focused on the material report. Materi subject matter for the report is required to master this material student. Students so that they can write a trip report or reports on the observed results. they report should refer to the nature report. The fact write in school, students have difficulty writing reports. efforts to improve the ability of students to write a report done by the application of concepts and critical thinking questions. The focus of this research is how the application of the concept maps and critical thinking in improving report writing capability class VIII C SMP 21 years of 2015/2016? The scope of the research is focused on a few sub focus namely research, planning, implementation, and the result. The research method is descriptive and qualitative research design form of class action. Results of research learning planning cycle 1 (APKG1) values obtained 85.00 (very good), 2 cycles values obtained 97.50 (very good). Learning implementation using APKG2, the activities of teachers in the first cycle, the first and second meetings have been categorized Very Good, with a value of 87.20. Activities teachers teach when the second cycle, the first meeting and the second is better, with a value of 88.80. If the student activity cycled see first, first and second meetings are very active and are included active. Good Cycle. This second, first and second meeting, there was an increase in the student activity is said to be better than the first. Every cycle and every member of the group to work independently and be careful in teaching. cycle values of individual students: the average is 79.39. There is a group formed in learning activities. Get PDFRendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa di Indonesia mengakibatkan peringkat Indonesia pada tes PISA rendah. Hal ini juga diakibatkan karena kurangnya kemandirian siswa dalam belajar di kelas, pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa pasif dan hanya menerima informasi dari guru membuat siswa mudah lupa materi yang diajarkan terutama materi bangun ruang yang masih sangat abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi apakah kemampuan literasi matematis dan kemandirian siswa yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning berpendekatan RME –PISA tuntas secara klasikal dan lebih baik daripada kemampuan literasi matematis dan kemandirian siswa yang diajar menggunakan model RME dan lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar secara ekspositori. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian semu yang menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group. Data kemampuan literasi matematis dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan literasi matematis pada materi jarak dalam ruang dimensi tiga dengan soal-soal setara tes PISA, sedang data kemandirian siswa dikumpulkan dari hasil observasi selama proses pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis dan kemandirian siswa yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning berpendekatan RME –PISA tuntas secara klasikal dan lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar dengan model RME, lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar secara ekspositori

STUDY ON CARBON CONTENT AND ECOLOGICAL MANGROVE INDEX IN MUARAREJA, TEGAL, CENTRAL JAVA
Get PDFThe accumulation of carbon in the atmosphere causing the greenhouse effect as a result of trapping of short-wave sunlight, which increase the temperature of Earth's atmosphere. One of the forest ecosystems that can reduce the effects of greenhouse gases and to mitigate the climate change is a mangrove forest. The role of mangroves related to the Blue Carbon was emphasized as mangrove efforts to utilize CO₂ for photosynthesis and store it in biomass stock and sediment as a climate change mitigation efforts. The purpose of the research are a) to determine the density, dominance and the importance value of mangroves index, b) to know the Diversity Index and Uniformity Index of mangrove that dominates, c) to determine the content of carbon in the mangrove forests, and d) to determine the relationship of the density of mangrove with a carbon content in the mangrove forest area in the village of Muarareja Tegal. Mangrove areas in the Village of Muarareja was dominated by Rhizophora mucronata with Relative Density (KR) in ponds: 42.11% - 100%, residential homes: 28.57% - 45.45%, the river: 31.58% - 61.90%, the beach : 59.09% - 73.68%. Relative dominance (DR) of ponds station: 34.71% - 100%, residential home stations: 14.24% - 39.61%, river station: 20.46% - 72.95%, coast stations: 64.08% - 92,25%. Importance Value Index (IVI) in ponds station: 76.82% - 200%, residential home stations: 42.81% - 85.07%, the river station: 52.03% - 134.85%, coast stations: 123.17% - 165.93%. Diversity Index (H) mangrove Rhizophora mucronata ranged by 0.000 - 0.692 and Uniformity Index (J) mangrove ranged by 0.000 - 2.107. The largest carbon content (tons / ha) was produced at the coast with the average number of total carbon content of the plot (tons / ha) was 189,942.77 tons / ha, followed by the river with the average number of total carbon content of the plot (tons / ha) was 179,011.49 tons / ha, the average number of total carbon content ot the plot for the ponds (tons / ha) was 176,519.79 tons / ha and with the average number of total carbon content of the plot (tons / ha) for the residential homes was 165,774.82 tons / ha. The density of mangrove has a very close correlation with the total carbon content in liters per hectare of the plot, the total carbon content in plants per hectare of the plot below, the total carbon content in leaves per hectare of the plot, and the total carbon content of soil per hectare of the plot. The total carbon content of the tree biomass per hectare on the plot, the total carbon content of nekromassa per hectare of the plot, and the total carbon content in the roots per hectare of the plots does not have a positive correlation with the density of mangrove
The Effect of Intelligence, Leg Muscle Strength, and Balance Towards The Learning Outcomes of Pencak Silat with Empty-Handed Single Artistic
Get PDFThis study aims to Determine the effect of intelligence, leg muscle strength, as well as the balance towards the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic on the Physical Education students of Islamic University 45 Bekasi. The research method is a survey, and the analysis technique is path analysis. This research held in Islamic University 45 Bekasi with 122 people of population. The sampling technique used is random sampling, then a sample of this research is 60 people. The instruments used are a rubric 4 scale (very good, good, enough and less) of the learning outcomes of pencak silat emptyhanded single artistic, intelligence test with IST (Intelligent Structure Test), leg muscle strength with instrument squat test, and test of balance by using the modified bass test of dynamic balance. Based the result of the data processing and analysis, the Conclusions are: : (1) Intelligence directly effect on the learningoutcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic with ρy1 = 0.359, (2) Leg muscles strength directlyeffect on the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic with ρy2 = 0.228, (3) Balance directly effect on the learning outcomes of pencak silat empty-handed single artistic with ρy3 = 0.356, (4) Intelligence directly effects on the balance with ρ31 = 0.662, and (5) Leg muscle strength directly effectson the balance with ρ32 = 0.298
Sikap Bahasa Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris terhadap Bahasa Indonesia
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap bahasa terhadap bahasa Indonesia di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Sebuah penelitian survei dengan menggunakan bentuk penelitian deskritif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Pontianak dengan sampel berjumlah 40 mahasiswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik survei dengan alat pengumpul data berupa angket semi tertutup. Interpretasi data disajikan dengan mengggunakan metode informal (a natural language). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan data skor kebanggaan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia rata-rata mahasiswa tergolong tinggi dengan skor 34.90 atau 77,56%. Hasil analisis data skor kesetiaan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia rata-rata mahasiswa tergolong tinggi dengan skor 25,88 atau 73,93%. Hasil analisis data skor kesadaran akan norma bahasa rata-rata mahasiswa tergolong tinggi dengan skor 26,90 atau 76,86%. Hasil analisis data skor sikap bahasa dilihat dari keseluruhan aspek rata-rata mahasiswa tergolong tinggi dengan skor 87,68 atau 76,24%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Pontianak memiliki sikap positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia
Model Kooperatif GI Berbasis Outdoor Study Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar IPA SD
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas guru di SDN 2 Tribungan selama penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbasis outdoor study. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan dua siklus yakni siklus I dan siklus II. Berdasarkan tindakan pada siklus I dan siklus II pada, diperoleh aktivitas pada siklus I persentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 65%. Aktivitas beajar siswa pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90%. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I ke II meningkat sebesar 25%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 57% dengan kategori aktif. hasil beajar siswa pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 94,3% dengan kategori sangat aktif. Peningkatan hasi belajar siswa pada siklus I ke II meningkat sebesar 37,3%
The Effect of Learning Model Multimedia-Based toward The Students’ English Ability at Senior High School of Kolaka Regency
Get PDFThis research was design to know the effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The question of the research was “Is there an effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency? The objective of the research was to find out the data whether the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The significant of the research was expected the model can be used as reference learning model to improve the students’ English ablility. The design of the research was pre-experimental design. The research was conducted at the first-class students of Senior High School 1 Wundulako in Kolaka District. The data were collected by using English test which given at the pre-test and the post-test. In analysed the students’ test result, which the mean score of pre-test was 33,8806 and the mean score of post-test was 69,4058, while the t-table 18,55>2,042 t-test. Its mean that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility. Refering to the findings and discussions of the research, it can be concluded that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. It was based on the mean score in pre-test and post-test.Based on the conclusion of the research, the researcher suggests to the teacher, especially English teacher in Kolaka Regency to use learning model multimedia-based in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ English ability

The result of the research shows that there is an increase of students' learning result through presentation of mathematical object in verbal and symbolic form to improve conceptual understanding in Mathematics Statistics Semester VI Mathematics Education Study Program and there is an increase of learning interest after given learning by presentation of mathematical object in verbal and symbolic form

One of the sectors that are influenced by the development in information and communication technology is banking. The presence of internet banking has brought more conveniences to the customers in conducting banking transactions anytime and anywhere. However, one of the challenges faced by banks in implementing online banking is the security factor. In addition, consumer satisfaction in conducting internet transactions can be influenced by factors of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) consists of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and excellent service from the provider. The purpose of this study is to determine whether security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality havepositive influence on internet banking consumer satisfaction. Thetype of research is explanatory research type. The research variables consisting of independent variables are security factor, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service quality; meanwhile dependent variable is internet banking consumer satisfaction. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling method combined with snowball sampling method. Datais collected through questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The result shows that variables of security, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and service qualitysimultaneously influence internet banking consumer satisfaction. It shows that the four variables positively affect internet banking consumer satisfaction
