The Improvement of Teachers' Professional Competency in Learning through Principal's Management in SMP Negeri 3 Terentang
Principal management greatly affects the professional competence of teachers. In this case, the management of the principal is an effort that is based on moving, directing, and maintaining a person's behavior so that he is motivated to act to do something to achieve certain results or goals. In the concept of management related to organizational life, the management ability of the principal is very important in moving teachers to be more professional, because the principal has a broad influence in the world of education. The purpose of this school action research is to determine the extent to which principal coaching through principal management can improve professional competence. The instrument used in this study was observation. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentages. In this school action research was carried out in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken it was proven to increase the professional competence of teachers in learning, namely from 62.81% in cycle 1 to 80.76% in cycle 2. In other words, principal management carried out by researchers as school principals can improve teacher professional competence in learning
ANALISIS MINAT PESERTA DIDIK MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN TINGGI DI MASA PANDEMIC SE KALIMANTAN BARAT
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan empirik yang menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan tentang rendahnya minat peserta didik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di tengah pandemic sering terdengar. Pembelajaran on line secara terus menerus disertai factor ekonomi keluarga saat pandemic menjadi salah satu penyebab menurunnya minat peserta didik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan hingga perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai minat peserta didik melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survey. Subjek Penelitian adalah 140 peserta didik yang tersebar di 14 Kabupaten Kota di Kalimantan Barat. Berdasarkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat peserta didik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di tengah pandemic termasuk kategori sedang
ANALISIS PEMBUANGAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DI BANTARAN SUNGAI
Sampah atau limbah rumah tangga adalah sampah yang berasal dari kegiatan sehari-hari dalam rumah tangga yang tidak termasuk tinja dan sampah spesifik, dampak limbah rumah tangga dapat mempengaruhi terhadap pencemaran lingkungan seperti penurunan kualitas air, maka akan mempengaruhi terhadap tingkat kesehatan bagi orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui kondisi sampah dibantaran sungai Desa Pesaguan Kanan, 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang mendorong masyarakat membuang sampah disungai Desa Pesaguan Kanan, 3) Untuk mengetahui dampak pembuangan sampah rumah tangga di bantaran sungai Desa Pesaguan Kanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) pihak desa pesaguan kanan belum pernah melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang bahayanya membuang sampah kesungai dan masyarakat pun kurang tau mengenai dampak dari bahaya nya membuang sampah langsung kebantaran sungai, 2) faktor penyebab masyarakat di desa pesaguan kanan karena sebagian besar masyarakat kurang memperhatikan kebersihan lingkungan dari kebiasaan inilah menimbulkan tumpukan-tumpukan sampah dan menimbulkan masalah yang ada di lingkungan, seperti lingkungan menjadi tidak bersih dan menyebabkan sungai menjadi kotor akibat tumpukan sampah, banyak tikus dan nyamuk bahkan menyebarkan aroma yang tak sedap, 3) bahwa dampak yang dirasakan masyarakat di desa pesaguan kanan kabupaten ketapang adalah sungai menjadi kotor dan bau yang ditimbulkan dari sampah yang dibuang kesungai mengganggu masyarakat sekitar dan menimbulkan banyaknya lalat dan nyamuk di daerah bantaran sungai pada musim hujan, dampak lain juga bisa mempengaruhi dari kualitas air sungai
Development of Science Literacy Assessment Based on Multi Representation of Rectilinear Motion Concept to Investigate Students' Science Literacy Competencies
There have been many assessment instruments developed to measure student science literacy. However, literacy measurement instruments that pay attention to various intelligences and are reflected in the context of multiple representations have not been developed much. On the other hand, it is important to give every student the opportunity to succeed at his intelligence level. This study aims to determine the feasibility of a multi-representation based scientific literacy assessment instrument for high school physics on rectilinear motion concept as well as to describe students' scientific literacy skills and the mastery pattern of the rectilinear motion concept measured by the instrument developed. This research is a Research & Development (R&D) research. The test subjects were 262 high school students who had studied rectilinear motion concept in public high schools with A-accreditation. Data analysis conducted were validity test of instruments by experts; empirical test to obtain validity, reliability, difficulty level, and item difference; student responses to test offerings; profile of scientific literacy skills; and the pattern of mastery of the rectilinear motion concept. From the measurement results, it is evident that the profile of the average scientific literacy ability of high school students is still in the unsatisfactory category. The pattern of mastery of the concept of straight motion based on the modes of representation ranging from the most difficult to the easier ones is graphical, pictorial, verbal, and mathematical representations. This data could indicate that learning by practicing literacy skills still can be improved
Analysis of Sound Frequency on Guzheng Using Advanced Spectrum Analyzer Pro
Physics learning about sound frequency will be more effective if equipped with practicum activities. This practicum activity can be done by linking it with a cultural because cultural values have the potential to be implemented in physics learning, such as musical instruments for sound frequency. As for the culture used in this research is the Guzheng. This research aims to analyzed of the Guzheng sound frequency, the comparison of the sound frequency to the prime tones, and the comparison of the sound frequency to the octave tones. The research type that was used is based on laboratory experiment with the aids of Advanced Spectrum Analyzer Pro application which is already installed in the smartphone to measure the sound frequency of 21 strings of Guzheng. The result of the analyzed showed that the longer of string so the sound frequency produced is the lower. As for of simple linear regression test showed that the sound frequency is linearly distributed to the prime tones and to the octave tones. The result of research can be applied in physics learning by conducting practicum activities and utilizing technology by the Advanced Spectrum Analyzer Pro application to measure the sound frequency both on musical instruments and on other objects that can make a sound
Growing Birrul Walidainii Character in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramats as An Effort to Overcome Youth Distinctions
The character building activity of “birrul walidainii” in students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency today is very much needed by society and teenagers today. Community service was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Jl. Garuda No. 09, Kemantran, Kramat District, Tegal Regency, Central Java. The activity was carried out on Saturday, February 20, 2021. The target of this community service is Muhammadiyah Kramat Vocational High School Students, totaling 90 students. This community service partner is SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. This community service activity method is carried out using the method of awareness / increasing understanding of the character “birrul walidainii” in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency. The implementation of a community service program which consists of several activities, namely awareness / increasing the importance of respect and obedience to parents, education on the urgency of the role of parents, and awareness / increasing the importance of respect and obedience to teachers. The factors that most play a role in causing delinquency in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students are family factors and environmental factors. Through awareness / increasing understanding of the character “birrul walidainii” in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat students as an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency, parents and teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat have an important role in educating students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. One way is to keep their children busy with general education and religious education, with the hope of fortifying students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat to avoid the influence of juvenile delinquency and so that parents, teachers, and students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat are able to establish two-way communication where Parents can immediately understand their role in educating children and children as well as students understand the meaning of “birrul walidaini”
Exploration of Local Wisdom-Based Physics Learning Resources in the COKSACAR Case Study
Research objectives were to (1) Know the exploration of learning resources based on local wisdom; (2) To find out that local wisdom can be used as a learning resource in Viscosity material; (3) How to grow the entrepreneurial spirit with learning resources based on local wisdom. Qualitative descriptive research method with inductive and deductive analysis techniques. Data collection methods used documentation and participatory observation. The results showed that: (1) The form of exploration of learning resources based on local wisdom in the Wonosobo area was carried out with processed food products, namely COKSACAR. COKSACAR is a processed product of Carica fruit combined with chocolate. (2) The process of making COKSACAR as a learning resource for viscosity, namely the basic concepts and factors that affect viscosity in the form of the chocolate dough viscosity, fluid substances, the temperature in chocolate processing, and additives in the chocolate dough. (3) Learning resources based on local wisdom using COKSACAR can grow the entrepreneurial spirit, including (a) Motivation through the promotion of COKSACAR products. (b) Able to cultivate self-confidence, result-oriented, risk-taking, leadership, future-oriented, and able to find original and creative and innovative ideas. Problem Based Learning Model For Increasing Problem Solving Skills In Physics Learning
The role of creativity in learning is more associated with problem-solving activities, meaning that creativity is measured through the ability of students to approach and solve problems. However, the PBL model has not been implemented optimally by the teacher, so that the problem solving ability and learning achievement of students have not been optimally stimulated. This research study is proposed to develop a model of Problem-Based Learning to stimulate the improvement of the skill of problem solving in physics learning for students of Senior High School. The development of Problem-Based Learning model for physics learning applied the ADDIE model. The form of observation sheets, questionnaires and question sheets were used as the instrument of data collection. The product was validated by the experts and tested on the eleventh grade students of SMA 9 Padang with a value of 3.85 very valid categories.The practicality of the learning model was determined by the implementation of learning, teacher’s response and students’ response with a value of 3.73 with category done. The effectiveness of the learning model was determined by student activities, problem solving skills and knowledge aspect. show that Asymp.C. 001 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected. The research has found a Problem-Based Learning model for physics learning which is abbreviated with the problem based learning model to physics learning (PBL-PL) . The findings indicated that the Problem-Based Learning model can stimulate the improvement of students' problem solving skills for Physics learning in Senior High School. For this reason, it is recommended for the teachers and prospective teachers to apply the Problem-Based Learning model for Physics learning in Senior High School
Kompetensi Teknologi, Pedagogi, dan Konten Guru SD Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat
Guru SD dituntut untuk memiliki pengetahuan konten (content) mata pelajaran, pengetahuan pedagogi (pedagogy), dan pengetahuan teknologi (technology) dalam bentuk pengetahuan yang integratif dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat dan menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang paling dominan dalam membentuk kompetensi guru tersebut dalam aspek pengetahuan konten, pengetahuan pedagogi dan pengetahuan teknologi yang pada gilirannya dapat mengembangkan model pengembangan Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) yang sesuai untuk guru SD. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode deskriptif dan verifikasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis faktor konfirmatori (CFA) berdasarkan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang pengaruhnya paling dominan adalah pedagogical knowledge (0,944), technological content knowledge (0,942), dan technological pedagogical knowledge (0,935). Sedangkan, pedagogical content knowledge, content knowledge, dan technological knowledge tidak sepenuhnya membentuk TPACK guru SD tersebut
Content Gradation OF Sundanese Textbooks for Junior High School and Senior High School (Review Of Facts, Concepts, Principles, and Procedures in The Field of Sundanese Language Study in 2013 Local Content Curriculum Revised 2017)
The main reason for conducting this research is that Sundanese textbooks do not describe the material gradation standards according to the needs and background of students at each level of Education, in addition to not presenting a systematic material structure. In connection with the reason above, the purpose of this study is to examine the gradations and structure of the material contained in the Sundanese textbook for Junior High School/MTs and Senior High School/Vocational/MA students. The method used in this research is the description method. While the data collection technique used in this research is library research techniques. The technique is used to describe data based on gradations and structure of subject presented in Sundanese textbooks based on education levels. The data processed in this study is Sundanese language learning materials including 1) literary forms of poetry: poetry, circumcision, wawacan, satire, pupujian, sawer, and kawih; 2) literary forms of prose: fairy tales, short story, novels, puppet story, and drama; 3) non-literary texts: speeches, writers, letters, reports, debates, interviews, and reports reading. As for, the source of the data is Sundanese textbooks for Junior High School/MTs and Senior High School/Vocational/MA students based on the 2013 Local Content Curriculum Revised 2017. The finding of this study is that the composition of Sundanese textbook material for Junior High School/MTs and Senior High School/Vocational/MA students in accordance with the 2013 Local Content Curriculum Revised 2017, nevertheless, not paying attention to the gradation of the material. Things that unintentionally missing from the authors are 1) gradation of writing indicators from competencies achievement or learning objectives, 2) scope of material presentation and depth of material, and 3) variations of operational verbs on the writing tasks. This research can be used as a consideration in compiling the material presented in the textbook, so that the content presented ca be in accordance with students' needs and background based on their level of education
