Ethnomathematics: Exploration Of Jubata Dayak Kanayatn Dance Sanggar Padagi Raya
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the mathematical elements contained in the Jubata Dayak Kanayatn Dance at the Padagi Raya Studio. This study will not only contribute to cultural preservation, but also provide new insights into ethnomathematics studies and increase public awareness of mathematics in the context of local culture. This study is expected to be a reference for further research, as well as offer alternative solutions in mathematics learning that are more contextual and relevant to the culture of the community. The method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach, involving observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation to collect data from three informants. The results of the study indicate that the Jubata Dance contains various fundamental mathematical activities, such as calculating, measuring, designing, determining locations, playing, and explaining. The mathematical elements identified in this dance include angles, geometric transformations, flat shapes, and spatial shapes. Each dance movement has a mathematical meaning that can be analyzed, such as the angular patterns formed in the movement, as well as the use of geometric formations that show the relationship between dance and mathematics. This study fills the gap in previous studies on ethnomathematics in Jubata Dance and provides new insights into understanding the relationship between culture and mathematics. The conclusion of this study is that Jubata Dance is not only a cultural expression, but also contains mathematical elements that can improve the understanding of the community, especially students, about mathematical elements in the context of local culture. This study is expected to be a reference for further studies and provide alternative solutions in learning mathematics that are more contextual and relevant to everyday life. Penelitian ini tidak hanya akan berkontribusi pada pelestarian budaya, tetapi juga memberikan wawasan baru dalam kajian etnomatematika serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang matematika dalam konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya, serta menawarkan solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan budaya masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari tiga narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Jubata mengandung berbagai aktivitas fundamental matematis, seperti menghitung, mengukur, mendesain, menentukan lokasi, bermain, dan menjelaskan. Unsur-unsur matematika yang teridentifikasi dalam tarian ini mencakup sudut, transformasi geometri, bangun datar, dan bangun ruang. Setiap gerakan tari memiliki makna matematis yang dapat dianalisis, seperti pola sudut yang terbentuk dalam gerakan, serta penggunaan formasi geometris yang menunjukkan hubungan antara seni tari dan matematika. Penelitian ini mengisi kekosongan kajian sebelumnya tentang etnomatematika dalam Tari Jubata dan memberikan wawasan baru dalam memahami keterkaitan antara budaya dan matematika. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Tari Jubata tidak hanya merupakan ekspresi budaya, tetapi juga mengandung unsur-unsur matematis yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, terutama siswa, tentang unsur-unsur matematika dalam konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk studi lebih lanjut dan memberikan solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan mengintegrasikan elemen budaya dalam pendidikan, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami unsur matematika dan melihat relevansinya dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari, serta meningkatkan minat belajar mereka terhadap mata pelajaran tersebut.Kata Kunci :Etnomatematika; Tari Jubata; Dayak Kanayatn; pendidikan matematika; aktivitas matematis
Workshop on Making Coconut Jam for the Family Welfare Development Group (PKK) in Sungai Itik Village
Get PDFCoconuts can easily be found in Sungai Itik Village, but so far the diversification of the use of coconuts is still not diverse, even though through the activities of PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) efforts can be made to diversify the use of coconuts. Coconut jam is an example of a product made from coconuts. Making coconut jam requires easily available ingredients and simple equipment. it's simple so it can be done by PKK. This workshop activity aims to take advantage of the potential that exists in the village of Sungai Itik and produce a diversification of processed coconut products in the form of coconut jam. Several potentials include MSME activities in amplang, ant sugar production, tilapia ponds, plantations (bananas, coconuts), and agriculture (rice). This activity is motivated by the abundant availability of coconuts, but the diversification of processed products from coconuts is still limited to the processing of copra and coconut sugar. The method of implementing workshop activities is divided into identifying potentials and problems, compiling programs, determining target audiences, implementing workshop activities which are divided, evaluating the implementation of activities evaluate the implementation of activities through visits to PKK group representatives and conducting interviews and observing jam making, and finally monitoring after workshop activities. The results of the workshop on making coconut jam which involved the community provided scientific contributions, especially for the PKK group in Sungai Itik Village about how to make coconut jam, then this jam can be used for households so that it can reduce children's food snack expenditure, and coconut jam can also be sold so that it can be additional household financial income.Workshop Pembuatan Selai Kelapa Kepada Kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Di Desa Sungai ItikABSTRAKBuah kelapa dapat dengan mudah ditemukan di Desa Sungai Itik, namun sejauh ini diversifikasi pemanfaatan buah kelapa masih belum beragam, padahal melalui kegiatan PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan) dapat dilakukan upaya untuk diversifikasi pemanfaatan buah kelapa. Selai kelapa merupakan salah satu contoh produk berbahan baku buah kelapa. Pembuatan selai kelapa membutuhkan bahan yang mudah didapat dan peralatan yang sederhana. sederhana sehingga dapat dilakukan oleh kelompok PKK. Kegiatan workshop ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan potensi yang ada di desa Sungai Itik dan menghasilkan diversifikasi produk olahan kelapa berupa selai kelapa. Beberapa potensi meliputi kegiatan UMKM amplang, produksi gula semut, tambak ikan nila, perkebunan (pisang, kelapa), dan pertanian (padi). Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh melimpahnya ketersediaan kelapa namun bentuk diversifikasi olahan produk dari kelapa masih terbatas pada pengolahan kopra dan gula kelapa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop terbagi menjadi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, penyusunan program, penetapan khalayak sasaran, pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop yang terbagi menjadi dua kegiatan yakni penyampaian materi dan diskusi serta praktik pembuatan selai kelapa, evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui kunjungan ke perwakilan grup PKK dan melakukan wawancara serta observasi pembuatan selai, dan terakhir monitoring pasca kegiatan workshop. Hasil workshop pembuatan selai kelapa yang melibatkan masyarakat memberikan sumbangsih keilmuan khususnya bagi kelompok PKK di Desa Sungai Itik tentang bagaimana membuat selai kelapa, selanjutnya selai ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk rumah tangga sehingga dapat mengurangi pengeluaran jajanan makanan anak, dan selai kelapa dapat pula dijual sehingga dapat menjadi tambahan pemasukan keuangan rumah tangga.Kata Kunci :Workshop; Selai Kelapa; Pemberdayaan; Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK)
Education and Early Screening: Efforts to Control Diabetes Mellitus at Pampang Community Health Center, Makassar City
Get PDFABSTRACTIn Indonesia, including in Makassar City, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM) continues to increase. To control diabetes mellitus (DM), an integrated approach must be implemented, which includes health education and early screening. The purpose of this community service program is to increase public awareness about diabetes mellitus, the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and identify individuals who are at risk of diabetes mellitus in the work area of the Pampang Health Center. Health counseling, blood sugar checks, and training on healthy food and exercise are all part of the program.The methods used in this program include interactive lectures, group discussions, and individual health screenings. The target audience of the program is the vulnerable population, including individuals with a family history of DM and those with a sedentary lifestyle. The results show an increase in participants' understanding of DM risk factors and prevention measures. In addition, blood glucose testing helps identify individuals who need further referral for diagnosis and treatment. This program has a positive impact on raising community awareness of the importance of early detection and DM control through behavioral changes. It is expected that this activity can continue and become a model for community-based DM control in other regions. Collaboration between educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and the community is key to the success of this program in reducing the incidence of DM at Pampang Community Health Center, Makassar City.Edukasi dan Pemeriksaan Dini: Upaya Pengendalian Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Pampang Kota MakassarABSTRAKDi Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Makassar, prevalensi diabetes mellitus (DM) terus meningkat. Untuk mengendalikan diabetes mellitus (DM), pendekatan terpadu harus diterapkan, yang mencakup pendidikan kesehatan dan pemeriksaan dini. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang diabetes melitus, pentingnya pola hidup sehat, dan mengidentifikasi individu yang berada di bawah risiko diabetes melitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pampang. Penyuluhan kesehatan, pemeriksaan gula darah, dan pelatihan tentang makanan dan olahraga yang sehat adalah semua bagian dari program ini. Program ini menggunakan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan pemeriksaan kesehatan individu. Program ini bertujuan untuk masyarakat yang rentan, seperti orang yang memiliki riwayat DM dalam keluarga mereka dan orang yang kurang aktif dalam gaya hidup mereka. Hasil acara menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih memahami faktor risiko DM dan cara mencegahnya. Pemeriksaan gula darah juga membantu menemukan orang yang memerlukan rujukan lanjutan untuk diagnosis dan perawatan lebih lanjut. Program ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya deteksi dini DM dan pengendaliannya melalui perubahan perilaku. Diharapkan program ini akan berlanjut dan menjadi model pengendalian DM berbasis komunitas di wilayah lain. Analisis Tingkat Service level Warehouse Dalam Manajemen Persediaan Barang Pada PT X Cabang Bekasi
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the causes of the low warehouse service level and the increase in out of stock incidents at PT X Bekasi Branch. Based on the problems identified, PT X's service level has, at times, fallen below 85%, which is under the company’s management target. Several key items were also identified in this study as having warehouse service levels lower than those from the supplier. The research focuses on four main factors: Place, Product, People, and Process. The findings indicate that the most dominant factor is product, specifically when warehouse stock runs out before the next shipment from the supplier arrives. This issue is worsened by inadequate stock monitoring by the warehouse team in submitting requests to the PKM DC. The place factor, related to limited storage space, is not a significant obstacle due to stable inventory turnover. Meanwhile, the process factor shows that delivery schedules that do not align with purchase orders (POs) disrupt the inventory flow. As a solution, several action plans were developed, such as applying the Safety Stock and Reorder Point methods, improving daily stock monitoring, enhancing coordination with suppliers, and optimizing warehouse layout. These measures are expected to improve service levels, reduce OOS, and support smoother branch operations

Reject Dokumen Impor dan Efisiensi Biaya pada Proses Customs Clearance di Perusahaan Freight Forwarding
Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to identify the factors causing errors in import documents that lead to the issuance of Document Rejection Notices (NPP) and to analyze their impact on operational cost efficiency in the customs clearance process at PT X. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and literature review. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of operational staff and managers directly involved in the import process. The findings reveal that the most common errors involve discrepancies in the Harmonized System (HS) Code, followed by inconsistencies between the Import Declaration (PIB) and Bill of Lading (B/L), incomplete documents, and differences between original and copy B/Ls. As a result, the company experienced delays in the release of goods and a significant increase in operational costs amounting to IDR 282,019,609 during the period of January to June 2024. These costs include administrative penalties, import duty adjustments, and storage and handling fees. This study contributes by offering strategic recommendations for the company, including improvements in document verification procedures, development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and enhanced employee understanding of goods classification and customs regulations to improve efficiency and competitiveness in international logistics services.

Get PDFThe use of interactive learning materials in elementary school education is driven by technological advances in this digital era. One of these effective learning media in improving students' learning outcomes and critical thinking skills is by using Wordwall. The purpose of this study is to investigate how well Wordwall in the case study learning model (CBL) in science subjects in elementary school environments integrates learning media. This researcher's approach consists of examining the literature on five related scientific publications that have been indexed by SINTA between 2020 and 2025. The results of this study state that using Wordwall can significantly increase students' interest, motivation and learning outcomes. In addition, there is a media that supports teachers in terms of delivering material in a fun and creative way. The conclusion of this study shows how Wordwall is useful as a tool to improve student learning outcomes in science classes in elementary schools

Investigating the Effects of Nutrition, Concentration, and Motor Development on Physical Education Outcomes in Elementary School Students
Get PDFThis study examines the low learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 004 Tanjungpinang Barat, which are allegedly influenced by nutritional status, concentration, and self-control skills. This quantitative study uses a correlational design with an ex-post-facto method. The research sample was 100 students selected through purposive sampling technique. Nutritional status data were obtained from height and weight measurements, concentration was measured by the grid concentration test, self-control skills by the TGMD-2 subtest, and learning outcomes were obtained from school data. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that there was a direct relationship between nutritional status, concentration, and self-control skills on student learning outcomes. The contribution of nutritional status to learning outcomes was 16.66%, concentration was 21.48%, and self-control skills were 19.75%. In addition, there is an indirect relationship between nutritional status and concentration on learning outcomes through self-control skills. Overall, nutritional status, concentration, and self-control skills contribute significantly to student learning outcomes by 35.04%
Development of Basic Level Mandarin Reading Learning Media Based on Android
Get PDFThe development of learning media is a highly appropriate tool to support students' Mandarin reading skills. This study aims to describe the quality, process, and effectiveness of media development in Mandarin reading instruction. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the learning media in the first trial had an average score of 72.5, while in the second trial, it reached an average of 97.5, with an average score of 86 for early reading skills, which falls within the category of a score of 5. From this data analysis, it can be concluded that there is quality, process, and effectiveness in the development of media for Mandarin reading instruction
