Improving Business Performance: The Influence of Entrepreneurial Characteristics and Digital Literacy through Marketing Capability
This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and digital literacy on the performance of culinary small businesses through marketing capabilities as mediation in Padang City. The existence of MSMEs is very important in creating economic stability, especially in the culinary sector, which is one of the main pillars of the regional economy. The method used in this research is quantitative with a survey approach, where the population studied includes all culinary MSME players in Padang City. The sample taken amounted to 170 culinary small business owners registered in various associations and entrepreneurial communities. The results show that entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive and significant influence on marketability. These entrepreneurial characteristics include innovative attitude, risk-taking courage, and skills in managing the business, which increase marketing effectiveness. Marketing capability is proven to have a positive and significant effect on business performance, because the right marketing strategy can increase sales and business competitiveness. Meanwhile, digital literacy has a positive influence on marketing ability and business performance, but the effect is not significant. This suggests that although digital literacy is important, the implementation of technology in marketing and business performance has not been fully optimized. The Utilization of Interactive Video Technology in Learning Basic Locomotor Motion in Physical Education: Literature Review
Physical Education, Sports, and Health have an important role in developing students' motor skills, including the basic movement of the locomotor. However, challenges such as a lack of variety of learning methods and less attractive media often hinder the learning process. Research Objectives This article aims to review various literature related to the use of interactive video technology in learning basic locomotor movements in physical education at the elementary school level. Methods This study uses the literature review method by analyzing relevant articles, journals, and literature sources published in the last 10 years. The reviewed literature focuses on the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the use of interactive video media in learning basic locomotor motion. The results of the study show that interactive video technology has several advantages, such as providing clear visual demonstrations, improving students' understanding of the material, and encouraging active participation through interactive features such as quizzes or simulations. In addition, this media has been proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. Factors such as video design, teacher engagement, and the suitability of the material with the curriculum are important aspects that affect the success of implementation. The conclusion is that the use of interactive video technology in learning basic locomotor movements in physical education has a positive impact on the motivation, involvement, and learning outcomes of elementary school students. Implementation of Arabic Language Learning From an Integration Theory Perspective on Reading Ability
Arabic language learning in Indonesia still needs to improve for Arabic language learners at the high school level, except for learning at Madrasah Aliyah Muallimin Muallimat Jombang, which is different from other schools. The advantage of this school is that its students can have the skills to read Arabic. This research shows that: 1) Implementation of the specific objective aspects of Arabic language learning material is interconnected and interrelated between one subject and another. The aim is for students to have read, 2) The implementation of Arabic language learning material is multidisciplinary, with the existence of linkages and mutual support between Arabic language learning material and religious material as well as a combination of classic Arabic and modern Arabic material. 3) The implementation of the method in this school is divided into two parts, namely the first method outside the classroom, which consists of prayer and reading aliyah together; the second method in learning is the integration of grammar and translation methods, singing methods, writing methods, reading methods, as well as audiolingual methods. 4) Two evaluations were used: the learning evaluation, which used daily, formative, and summative evaluations. PENGARUH FAKTOR BIOGRAFIS TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN, PEMANFAATAN DAN ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI SUMBER BELAJAR DIGITAL SPASIAL OLEH GURU GEOGRAFI DI KARANGANYAR
This study aims to determine whether biographical factors such as age, gender, highest education, and years of teaching experience influence the use of spatial-based digital learning resources by geography teachers in Karanganyar Regency. This quantitative research used a comparative design. The research population includes all geography teachers in Karanganyar Regency, with a sample of 34 geography teachers. Data collection was done using a questionnaire, and data analysis employed descriptive analysis and one-way ANOVA tests. The results showed that biographical factors do not influence the knowledge, utilization, and adoption of spatial digital learning technologies by geography teachers. The highest levels of knowledge, utilization, and adoption of spatially-based digital learning resource technologies are found among teachers aged 20-30 years, male teachers, and those with a Bachelor's degree. Regarding teaching experience, knowledge of spatially-based digital learning resources is highest among teachers with 5-10 years of experience, the utilization of spatially-based digital learning resources is highest among teachers with 16-20 years of experience, and the adoption of spatially-based digital learning resource technologies is highest among teachers with 21-25 years of experience. PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF LEARNING BERBASIS APLIKASI KAHOOT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 1 SEI BAMBAN
The IPS learning outcomes of students at SMPN 1 Sei Bamban are still classified as low and do not yet meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This is due to the lack of variation in the teaching models used byy the teachers, which makes the students passive during classroom learning. Therefore, the researcher implemented a cooperative learning model combined with the Kahoot application so that students would be actively involved both individually and in groups, with the hope of improving students learning based on the Kahoot application on students social studies learning outcomes. This is study uses a non-equivalent control group design. The research population consists of all students at SMPN 1 Sei Bamban, which comprises 8 classes. The research sample consisted of 64 students, with 32 students from class VIII-1 and 32 students from class VIII-2. The data collection method used pretest and posttest, and then the data were analyzed using SPSS Version 25.0 software. Based ob the hypothesis testing results using the Independent sample t-test, it was found that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class students were 84,88, while the control class students had an average of 75,75, with a significance value (sig) (2-tailed) of 0,000<0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model based on the Kahoot application on the learning outcomes of students in the IPS subject at SMPN 1 Sei Bamban
Developing E-LKPD based on Creative Problem Solving to Enhance Higher Order Thinking Skills and Learner Autonomy in Topics Related to Progressive and Standing Waves
This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective E-LKPD utilizing Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach to enhance both Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and the independent learning attitude of students in topics related to progressive and standing waves. The research method employed was Research and Development utilizing the 4-D development design model, which includes the phases: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate; however, Disseminate phase was not implemented. The validity of the E-LKPD CPS was assessed by material and media validators. Its practicality was evaluated based on the feasibility of implementing the E-LKPD CPS during the learning process as observed. The effectiveness of the E-LKPD CPS was determined through N-gain tests, while user response was gathered via response questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The E-LKPD CPS was pilot-tested in a limited setting at MAN 2 Yogyakarta, involving 33 MIPA 1 as experimental group and another 33 as control group (MIPA 2). The E-LKPD CPS received validity scores of 97.47% from content experts and 95.48% from media experts, both considered very valid. Its practicality scored at 84.08% (good). The effectiveness of the E-LKPD CPS in enhancing HOTS was demonstrated with experimental group N-gain of 70.69%, compared to the control group's 63.70%, both deemed moderately effective. The effectiveness in fostering independent learning attitudes yielded N-gain of 74.28% for the experimental group and 67.23% for the control group, also rated as moderately effective. Student response was highly favorable at 91.33% (very good). Consequently, the developed E-LKPD CPS is declared valid, practical, and effective for implementation in educational settings
Analysis of Student Learning Style Tendencies Reviewed from Learning Independence in Physics Learning
The research aims to 1) describe student learning style profiles; 2) describe the profile of student learning independence in physics learning; 3) describe the tendencies of learning styles of SMPN student in Singkawang City in terms of learning independence in physics learning. This type of research is survey research using descriptive data analysis techniques where research data will be displayed using pie charts and tables. Respondents in this study were taken using a cluster sampling technique from the entire population, which is all syate junior high school students in Singkawang City. The data collection technique used in this research uses a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire on student learning style tendencies and a questionnaire on learning independence in physics learning. The research results show that the combination of multimodal learning style (65%) dominates unimodal learning style (35%). Based on the type learning style, it shows that 1 in 3 respondents have the VARK learning style, which makes it the most dominant type. The distribution of learning independence data forms a bell curve indicating that the data distribution tends to be normal. Analysis of learning style data in terms of the learning independence category shows that there is tendency for the VARK learning style type to be dominant in each category
THE EFFECT OF THE HISTORY LEARNING VIDEO-BASED PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL IN INCREASING STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION IN HIGH SCHOOL
The purpose of this study is to assess how high school students' motivation to learn can be increased by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning paradigm, which is based on historical learning films. A quasi-experimental quantitative method is employed in the research process. Through student knowledge assessments, interviews, and observational methods, data was gathered. Using SPSS 25 software, t-and N-Gain tests were used to quantitatively analyze the data. Following the implementation of the learning model, the t-test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which was less than 0.05, according to the data, showing a significant difference in the students' post-test scores. In addition, the N-Gain analysis showed an increase from the low category (0.22) in the pretest to the medium category (0.61) in the posttest, indicating the effectiveness of this learning model in increasing students' learning motivation. The study's conclusion is that the PjBL learning model, which is based on historical learning videos, significantly affects students' motivation to learn. This finding may be used as a guide to create future learning strategies that are even more successful
The Contribution of ChatGPT, Digital Literacy, and Economic Literacy to The Study Outcomes of Economic Education Students Mediated by Self-Efficacy
Technological progress requires the presence of intelligent economic people, able to create income, make wise economic decisions, and improve the welfare of life. Economic education that is responsive to technological developments is able to provide more relevant learning experiences. The success of current economic education students who are digital natives can be influenced by various aspects, such as the contribution of ChatGPT, digital literacy, economic literacy, and self-efficacy. This research aims to determine the influence of the contribution of ChatGPT, digital literacy, and economic literacy to study results which are mediated by the self-efficacy of economic education students. The research method uses a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) via the SmartPLS application version 3.3.9. The research results show that economic literacy has a large and effective contribution in increasing student self-efficacy and study results compared to the use of ChatGPT and digital literacy. There is still room for improvement to optimize the implementation of ChatGPT and strengthen digital literacy in achieving good study result
Analysis of the Ability of Class IX Students In Solving Quadratic Equation Problems
The problem addressed in this study is the variation in the ability of ninth-grade students at SMPN Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang in solving mathematical problems, particularly quadratic equations. Some students demonstrate excellent abilities, while others face difficulties in understanding and solving quadratic equation problems accurately and systematically. This variation in abilities highlights challenges in mathematics education that need to be addressed. This study aims to evaluate students' ability to solve mathematical problems, with a focus on quadratic equations. The method used is descriptive analysis with a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative technique is used to assess students' ability levels through tests, while the qualitative technique is employed to delve deeper into the students' thought processes through interviews. The results indicate that students with high and very high abilities can solve quadratic equation problems well. On the other hand, students with medium ability levels struggle with understanding basic concepts and structured problem-solving steps. Meanwhile, students with low and very low abilities have difficulty understanding the material in-depth, resulting in their inability to solve the problems effectively. These findings suggest the need for a more systematic teaching approach, focusing on strengthening basic understanding and providing additional practice to enhance problem-solving skills, particularly in quadratic equations.Analisis Kemampuan Peserta Didik Kelas IX Dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Persamaan Kuadrat ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya variasi kemampuan peserta didik kelas IX di SMPN Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, khususnya materi persamaan kuadrat. Beberapa peserta didik menunjukkan kemampuan yang sangat baik, sementara yang lain mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan soal-soal persamaan kuadrat secara tepat dan sistematis. Variasi kemampuan ini menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam pembelajaran matematika yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, dengan fokus pada topik persamaan kuadrat. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan peserta didik melalui tes, sementara teknik kualitatif digunakan untuk menggali lebih dalam proses berpikir peserta didik melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dengan kemampuan tinggi dan sangat tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal persamaan kuadrat dengan baik. Sebaliknya, peserta didik dengan kemampuan sedang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dasar dan langkah-langkah penyelesaian. Sementara itu, peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah dan sangat rendah kesulitan dalam memahami materi secara mendalam, sehingga tidak dapat menyelesaikan soal dengan baik. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih sistematis, dengan fokus pada penguatan pemahaman dasar dan latihan ekstra untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika, khususnya pada materi persamaan kuadrat.Kata Kunci :Analisis; Persamaan Kuadrat; Variasi kemampua
