    The Impact Of Online Learning For Teachers In Remote Areas

    Online learning in remote areas is certainly not as easy as online learning in big cities in Indonesia. Online learning in remote areas, especially in the Landak district, faces many obstacles due to limited facilities and infrastructure. To overcome these problems, teachers in remote areas in Landak are trying to find solutions so that online learning can still take place well, even though it is limited. This study aims to describe the difficulties experienced by teachers when teaching and the solutions offered to overcome the problems of online learning in these remote areas. The results of this study indicate that there are still some difficulties encountered related to online learning experienced by teachers in remote areas. Difficulties in the internet network and the provision of laptops or smartphones still color the implementation of online learning experienced by teachers in remote areas. 84% of teachers experienced network difficulties in the online learning process during the pandemic.  One thing is very proud that teachers in remote areas are willing to do anything to overcome these difficulties. So even though there are many difficulties faced by online learning in remote areas, it can still run well. One of the efforts made is blended learning, taking turns online and offline learning

    Water Purification Training for Sejegi Village Community Mempawah Regency

    Sejegi Village, Mempawah Timur District, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan is an area with a fairly large peat area, so it is very difficult for people to get clean water sources. On the other hand, PDAM can not fulfill the community's clean water needs, so the people of Sejegi village generally rely on rainwater as a source of clean water. For this reason, water purification training was carried out for the people of Sejegi Village, Mempawah Regency. The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of the people of Sejegi Village in purifying peat water so that they get clean water that is suitable for household use, as well as to overcome community difficulties in obtaining clean water sources during the dry season. The training was carried out using a lecture method and demonstration of making a mini water treatment installation using large buckets and cans of used paint, fibers, gravel, whiting, alum and PAC. The training was attended by 30 residents of the Sejegi Village community. The results of the training showed that the community's understanding of the importance of clean water increased after being given the training. In addition, skills in designing water purification with simple materials are also starting to appear. This training is expected to help the Sejegi Village community in solving problems with clean water sources that are suitable for use

    Utilization of Mind Mapping Media to Improve Student's Social Intelligence In Integrated Social Studies Learning at Junior High School 1 Lumar Bengkayaang Regency

    The learning process for Integrated Social Studies subjects at the Junior High School level still requires innovation in the development and the use of learning media in delivering the ideas. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of teachers and students in the learning process using Mind Mapping learning media. This research used action research method with 3 cycles. Description of students' social intelligence after the learning process for Integrated Social Studies subjects using Mind Mapping for each action that goes well according to plan. Teacher and student activities during the implementation of the action can run well, the results of observations show an increase, namely the score in the first cycle of action is 54, and in the second cycle of action is 60, there is an increase of 11.11% and in the third cycle of action it is 64, an increase of 6.67% compared to the implementation of the action cycle 2. This means that there is a significant increase in the activities of teachers and students when implementing the Integrated Social Studies learning process using Mind Mapping media at Junior High School1 Lumar, Bengkayang Regency

    PENGEMBANGAN E-LKPD BERBASIS LIVEWORKSHEET PADA PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS IV SD

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet sehubungan pembelajaran menulis puisi Siswa SD Tingkat IV memiliki nilai, efektivitas praktis dan potensi. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan. Proses pengembangan menggunakan tahapan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi). Hasil validasi produk E-LKPD ahli media mendapatkan presentase sebesar 100%, validasi materi mendapatkan presentase 94,2% sedangkan validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan 97,5%, sehingga E-LKPD terkategori sangat valid dengan revisi. Hasil Praktis angket respon guru mendapatkan 92%, lalu siswa secara small group sebanyak 12 siswa sebesar 93,88%, sedangkan one group sebanyak 19 siswa mendapatkan presentase 92,80%, jika disimpulkan maka mendapatkan 92,89% sehingga E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti terkategori praktis. Pada hasil post-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan jumlah 31 responden dengan nilai rata-rata 9,03. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet berpotensi efek potensial digunakan untuk pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar

    The iSpring Ebook Learning Media for Online Learning Physics: In Case for Improving Student Conceptual Understanding

    This study is aimed to determine the effect of learning media, an iSpring e-book, on online learning physics. There are 61 science students of Noemuti State High School participated in this study. The research was used the R&D method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the implementation stages, two classes were used in the design quasi-experimental method. Students in the model class are not used iSpring e-book media, while a student in the implementation class used iSpring e-book media. The data in this study were judgments of the feasibility analysis of e-book media using the reproducibility coefficient (Cr). Analysis of differences in concept understanding and interest using N-Gain and effect size d'Cohen. As for the analysis of success indicators using SPSS version 25.0. The results of the validity of the e-book media instrument are feasible with Cr > 0.90. The result of paired sample t-test for both model and implementation classes is the value of t table > t count so that the hypothesis is accepted (Ha) there is a difference between the pretest-posttest values. The results of the analysis of the concept understanding indicators for the implementation class show the interpreting dimension of 91.30 and exemplifying 82.61 with a very good category, while the dimension model class interprets 47.36 with a sufficient category and gives an example of 60.53 good. The results of the analysis of learning interest in the implementation class for the dimensions of feeling happy are 3.56 (high) and involvement 3.69 (very high), while the model class for interest in learning for the dimensions of feeling happy is 3.21 (enough) and involvement is 3.07 (enough). Even though the facilities are constrained, Noemuti High School students are still enthusiastic about taking physics lessons online

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of transportation traffic noise at the Merauke city crossing and its solutions. Noise caused The lack of proper attention to the impact of noise from traffic flow at a crossroads. The Development of additional techniques for noise reduction in this area is needed. The results obtained are very important for areas with solutions at every highway intersection The results obtained are very important knowing the noise above the standard value at every highway intersection. This research develops techniques to reduce transportation traffic noise at the crossroads of Merauke city which are applied in design practice. Experimental studies in real conditions in the characteristic areas of Merauke City using sound level meter measurements. This research was carried out experimentally by taking measurements at each crossroads and theoretical solving methods. The good convergence results confirm the impact of noise on the immediate area with a slightly higher crossing than the value on a normal two-lane road. The proposed solution will allow providing additional protection against transportation noise

    This research, entitled Analysis of Students' Speaking Ability through Youtube Media, aims to see students' speaking skills by utilizing social media, especially YouTube in the lecture process. Lecturers initiate to use youtube media, this aims to create an atmosphere that allows students to practice directly using spoken language, as well as a form of motivation so that students can improve their speaking skills. This research is qualitative research. The source of the data in this study is a video uploaded via YouTube as a result of the civil service course assignment. The results of this study The use of YouTube media in lecture activities, especially in civility courses, can motivate students to improve speaking skills. Currently, the influence of mass media, especially YouTube, on students is quite large. This can be seen from several student recognitions, namely they become more enthusiastic and creative in doing assignments

    Evaluation of Group-Based Family Income Improvement Program Using Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) Evaluation Model

    This study aims to determine the implementation of the UPPKA program using the CIPP evaluation model. This research was evaluative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was done by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The triangulation used a source and method to compare the opinions of interested parties on a group-based family income increase program in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The results showed that (1) the context evaluation was not good, because there was no legal basis, namely the Regent's Regulation even though the implementation of the UPPKA program and training, the suitability of the needs analysis, the suitability of the background and the objectives of the UPPKA program were in accordance with the expected competencies; (2) evaluation of input was not good because the organizers in this case were related agencies that had not yet matured in the context of planning, even though the family planning instructor/instructor was competent and masters the material, UPPKA members were in accordance with the criteria and procedures, the facilities and infrastructure were supported; (3) the evaluation process was not good because the suitability of the activity schedule was uncertain, the performance of the organizers had not been maximized due to planning constraints that affect the implementation of activities even though the family planning instructor was optimal, UPPKA members were still passive, and the evaluation was carried out thoroughly, both evaluation of members, instructors/KB instructors and organizers, where only family planning instructors/extension workers work optimally. Product evaluation was not good because UPPKA members had not mastered the context of administration and management

    The Attitudes of Primary Teacher Education Program Students Towards Utilizing Flipgrid in English Speaking Skill

    This research was aimed at investigating the students’ attitudes of primary teacher education program (PTEP) towards utilizing Flipgrid in enhancing English speaking skill. The participants of this research were 60 students of PTEP in one of Muhammadiyah Universities located in Jakarta who attended an English course. The research used a mixed method to collect the quantitative and qualitative data to analyze. Thus, the instruments used were observation, questionnaire and semi-structure interview. The result showed that most of the students agreed to use Flipgrid in learning English speaking skill as this app had benefits and could motivate the students to practice speaking better as well as increased the students’ confidence. It is thus recommended that lecturers should be encouraged to use Flipgrid in English learning activity, mainly in speaking skill to boost the students to be more active to create videos and engage in interactions with lecturers and classmates mediated with video discussion forum.

    Pengembangan Tes Diagnostik Menggunakan Model Teslet untuk Mengidentifikasi Kesulitan Belajar Peserta didik SMA pada Materi Momentum dan Impuls

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet pada materi momentum dan impuls untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri di Pontianak. Secara khusus bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi karakteristik butir tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet disusun pada materi momentum dan impuls. (2) mengetahui kelayakan tes diagnostik menggunakan model teslet pada materi momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dikembangkan dengan model Four-D menggunakan 9 langkah pengembangan tes diagnostik menurut Mardapi. Tes tediri dari 12 soal pokok yang masing-masing terdiri dari 3 subsoal, total keseluruhan 36 soal. Data kualitatif didapatkan dari validasi tim ahli yang merupakan guru mata pelajaran fisika dan dosen Pendidikan Fisika FKIP UNTAN. Uji skala kecil dengan subjek peserta didik kelas XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 3 melibatkan 23 peserta didik, dan uji skala besar di kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3, XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7, dan XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 melibatkan 98 peserta didik. Karakteristik yang digunakan adalah karakteristik menurut Sutrisno. Berdasarkan analisis data, didapat tes diagnostik yang dikembangkan dengan model teslet dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik, yaitu: (1) tingkat validitas isi tinggi sebesar 0,94, (2) validitas butir soal lebih dari 0,413 dan 0,195 dengan jumlah soal valid sebanyak 36 soal, (3) reliabilitas tinggi sebesar 0,893, (4) tingkat kesukaran soal kategori sedang, (5) soal dibuat dengan bahasa yang sederhana dengan tingkat keterbacaan 7,05, sehingga soal yang dapat digunakan sebanyak 36 soal.Kata Kunci: Kesulitan Belajar; Tes Diagnostik; Teslet; Momentum dan ImpulsDevelopment of Diagnostic Tests Using Teslet Models to Identify High School Students' Learning Difficulties on Momentum and ImpulseABSTRACTThis study aims to produce diagnostic tests using a teslet model on momentum and impulse to identify learning difficulties for state high school students in Pontianak. It specifically aims to: (1) identify the characteristics of diagnostic test items using a teslet model composed on momentum and impulse materials. (2) knowing the feasibility of diagnostic tests using a teslet model on momentum and impulse materials. This research was a research and development developed with the Four-D model using 9 steps of diagnostic test development according to Mardapi. The test consisted of 12 main questions, each consisting of 3 sub-questions, a total of 36 questions. Qualitative data was obtained from the validation of a team of experts who are physics teachers and lecturers of Physics Education FKIP UNTAN. The small-scale test with the subjects of class XI science 6 SMA Negeri 3 students involved 23 students, and the large-scale test in class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3, XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7, and XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 involved 98 students. The characteristics used were those according to Sutrisno. Based on data analysis, diagnostic tests developed with a teslet model could be used to identify students' learning difficulties, namely: (1) a high content validity level of 0.94, (2) the validity of question items of more than 0.413 and 0.195 with a total of 36 valid questions, (3) high reliability of 0.893, (4) difficulty level of medium category questions, (5) questions made in simple language with a readability level of 7.05, so that the questions that could be used were as many as 36 questions
