    PENERAPAN KAHOOT PADA MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT SISWA KELAS X3 SMA PANJURA

    This study aims to address the issue of low student interest in learning in class X3 at SMA Panjura, which impacts their learning outcomes. Students often perceive geography as a monotonous and difficult subject, which reduces their involvement and active participation in the learning process. To overcome this issue, this research implements the interactive Kahoot media based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to improve both student interest and the effectiveness of the learning model used in class. PBL encourages students to actively solve real-world problems collaboratively, while Kahoot incorporates gamification elements to increase student engagement. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through Kahoot quizzes, observations, and student interest questionnaires. The results show a significant improvement in both student interest and learning outcomes. Before the implementation of PBL with Kahoot (pre-action), student interest was at 55%. In the first cycle, 80% of students gave positive feedback on Kahoot, although some students felt anxious due to the time limitations and unfamiliarity with the technology. In the second cycle, student interest increased to 92% after the addition of collaborative elements and rewards. The increase in student interest from pre-action (55%) to the second cycle (92%) shows a significant improvement of 37%. These results indicate that the use of Kahoot in PBL successfully enhanced student engagement, interest, and the effectiveness of the learning process

    PERCEPTION OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF KARO ABOUT RAKUT SITELU

    This research examines and analyzes the perceptions of Karo’s young generation regarding Rakut Sitelu. In the Karo people, there is a kinship system which is usually called rakut sitelu, which means triple bond. Rakut sitelu in Karo society consists of three elements, namely kalimbubu, senina, and anak beru. And of these three elements, each has its own function and role. This third element is the basis for the Karo people to create a relationship (kinship). Therefore, every Karo community, especially the young Karo generation, is obliged to know these three elements. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the perceptions of the younger generation of Karo regarding rakut sitelu, as well as the efforts of the young generation of Karo in maintaining rakut sitelu. In this research, researchers used qualitative research, with descriptive methods. Because by using descriptive methods, researchers can explain the perceptions and efforts of the young Karo generation to understand and maintain specific sitelu rakut that occurs in Karo society, especially the young Karo generation. In accordance with the aim of this research, regarding the Karo young generation’s perception of rakut sitelu, it was found that the three elements of rakut sitelu are the foundation (basis) for the Karo people to know their position in traditional ceremonies, so that by understanding rakut sitelu, they can understand their position.     Physics Students' Perceptions of Microlearning: A New Approach in Education

    The implementation of microlearning strategies in physics education is crucial and relevant in today's digital era. Microlearning, with its focused and concise approach, is believed to enhance student motivation and understanding. The purpose of this study is to explore physics students' perceptions of microlearning strategies and their impact on their learning experiences. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to identify patterns and trends in student perceptions. The results indicate that the majority of students have a positive perception of microlearning, considering it an effective method for understanding complex physics concepts. Students also reported increased motivation and engagement in the learning process. The implications of these findings suggest that integrating microlearning strategies into the physics curriculum can enhance students' learning experiences and academic outcomes. This research provides important insights for educators in designing more adaptive and responsive learning environments that meet the needs of students in the modern era

    Pengembangan Buku Bujang Dare Anti Perundungan Untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar Di Kota Pontianak Sebagai Edukasi Bahaya Perundungan

    This research aims to develop a book aimed at elementary school students as education about the dangers related to bullying. This book contains educational content about bullying in the school environment. The research method used is development research. The data needed in research on the development of the book "Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying" for elementary school students in the city of Pontianak as education on the dangers of bullying consists of two types of data, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. The research data collection instruments used include; (1) checklist or instrument validation questionnaire sheet at the product validation stage, (2) questionnaire sheet at the product trial stage, and (3) questionnaire sheet at the usage trial stage. The material validation results obtained a score of 86.76 with a very valid category; The language validation results obtained a score of 85 with a very valid category; The design validation results obtained a score of 88.17 with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the results of student responses regarding the practicality of using the book product "Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying" for elementary school students in the Pontianak obtained a practicality score of 96.55 with very practical criteria. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher's response obtained a practicality score of 94.60 with very practical criteria. In conclusion, the Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying book not only educates students about the dangers of bullying, but also strengthens local values and morals, so it is suitable to be used as open material to create a safer and child-friendly school environment

    The Effect Of The Guided Inquiry Learning Model On Spatial Thinking Skills Viewed From Students Geoliteracy

    The guided inquiry (GI) model is one of the scientific learning models that is student centered and designed to stimulate spatial thinking skills through discovery activities under the guidance and direction of the teacher. In addition to the learning model, geoliteracy is another factor that influences students spatial thinking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the GI model on spatial thinking skills and to examine the effect of the GI learning model on spatial thinking skills in terms of students geoliteracy. The research method is a quasi experimental design with a post test only design. The population of this study consists of eleventh grade students at SMAN 5 Malang and SMAN 6 Malang, with purposive sampling used to determine the control and experimental classes at each school. Data were collected using a test instrument to obtain spatial thinking ability scores and geoliteracy scores. Data analysis was carried out using independent sample t tests and two way anova. The results show that the GI model can affect the spatial thinking skills possessed by students, even though both experimental classes received the GI model treatment. Further results indicate that the GI model can affect spatial thinking skills in terms of students geoliteracy. However, there is a significant difference in spatial thinking skills based on geoliteracy between students at SMAN 6 Malang and students at SMAN 5 Malang, even though both experimental classes received the GI model treatment

    This study aims to describe the application of Canva's digital media in the learning process of writing biographical texts for grade X students and to describe the exploration of students' creativity through the use of Canva in biographical text writing. This research method uses qualitative with a descriptive presentation of the research results. This data collection technique uses observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing data. The results of this study explain the application of Canva digital media in learning to write biographical texts which includes the planning stage carried out by the teacher, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Then explore students' creativity in writing biographical text in the form of infographics using Canva. Thus, students can develop ideas and present biographical texts in the form of posters or infographics so as to create an interesting and informative text display to read

    OPTIMALISASI TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL DALAM MENDUKUNG MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI SMP NEGERI SATU ATAP 1 CIMANGGU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Cimanggu. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, komite sekolah, dan orang tua sebagai informan utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai bentuk implementasi metode pengumpulan data yang komprehensif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas temuan diperkuat melalui triangulasi teknik  dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, serta efisiensi manajemen data sekolah. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan rendahnya literasi digital masih perlu mendapatkan perhatian. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan, kolaborasi, dan penguatan kompetensi digital sebagai faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan program digitalisasi pendidikan

    KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK SMA PADA MATERI STATISTIKA DITINJAU BERDASARKAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT (AQ)

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan pra-penelitian di SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengomunikasikan ide-ide matematis secara tertulis pada materi Statistika. Selain itu, ditemukan pula kecenderungan peserta didik mudah menyerah ketika menghadapi kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika, sehingga mengindikasikan adanya keterkaitan dengan Adversity Quotient (AQ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas X pada materi Statistika ditinjau dari tingkat AQ yang dikategorikan menjadi AQ tinggi (Climber), AQ sedang (Camper), dan AQ rendah (Quitter).Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu 6 siswa dari kelas X-H SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak yang terdiri atas masing-masing dua subjek pada kategori AQ tinggi, AQ sedang, dan AQ rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, angket AQ, serta wawancara berbasis tugas. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek dengan kategori AQ tinggi (climber) mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator komunikasi matematis, yaitu menyajikan informasi dan langkah penyelesaian secara jelas (written text), merepresentasikan data dalam bentuk tabel atau gambar (drawing), serta menggunakan simbol dan notasi matematika secara tepat (mathematical expression). Subjek dengan kategori AQ sedang (camper) hanya mampu memenuhi sebagian indikator, yaitu written text dan drawing, namun belum konsisten dalam menggunakan simbol atau notasi matematika dengan benar. Sementara itu, subjek dengan kategori AQ rendah (quitter) menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang rendah karena belum mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator tersebut

    Habituasi Literasi Dasar untuk Meningkatkan Minat Baca Siswa Sekolah Dasar

    This study aims to obtain information related to the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krian, Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency. The ability to understand reading plays an important role for students in obtaining and processing information, sharpening their intellect, and enriching their insights. Therefore, the habituation of literacy activities needs to be applied early to students. This study used a qualitative approach with participants consisting of 1 homeroom teacher and 10 grade 5 students. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns and themes that emerged from the interviews and observations. The results showed that the implementation of literacy habituation in the school runs quite well through routine reading activities before learning, the provision of reading corners in the classroom, and the active involvement of teachers and students in literacy activities. However, some obstacles were found, such as the lack of parental involvement in supporting literacy activities at home and the limited availability of varied reading materials. The school continues to develop a more effective and sustainable literacy program to support an improved literacy culture in the school environment

    Mekanisme Penyelesaian Konflik Sosial Melalui Pendekatan Kewilayahan (Studi Kasus Antara Pekerja Di Kecamatan Bahodopi Kabupaten Morowali)

    Penelitian ini membahas konflik sosial yang terjadi antara para pekerja di Kecamatan Bahodopi, Kabupaten Morowali, yang dipicu oleh kesalahpahaman, perbedaan kepentingan, dan lemahnya komunikasi antar kelompok. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kewilayahan sebagai metode penyelesaian konflik, dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi sosial, budaya, dan geografis wilayah setempat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap tokoh masyarakat, pemerintah, dan perwakilan pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyelesaian konflik dilakukan melalui kerjasama lintas sektor, seperti pembatasan kegiatan kelompok tanpa izin dan penguatan peran tokoh kerukunan. Peran pemerintah sangat penting dalam mediasi dan pengawasan sosial, terutama melalui regulasi dan komunikasi lintas etnis.
