Das zweite Männchen von Sarcophaga palavae Povolný, 1995 (Diptera: Sarcophagidae).
Get PDFDas zweite Männchen der Art Sarcophaga palavae Povolný, 1995 wurde unlängst unweit von Brünn in Südmähren entdeckt. Dieses Männchen weist identische Genitalstrukturen wie das holotypische Männchen auf, das im Sommer 1993 in einem benachbarten Habitat gesammelt wurde, so daß die taxonomische Valenz dieser Art endgültig bestätigt ist. Es dürfte sich um eine seltene Art handeln, die auch im benachbarten Niederösterreich, in der Südslowakei oder in Ungarn vorkommen könnte.The second male of Sarcophaga palavae Povolný, 1995 was recently collected near Brno, southern Moravia. This specimen shows identical genitalic structures as the male holotype collected in summer 1993 in a neighbouring habitat, corroborating definitely the taxonomic validity of this new species. It seems to be a rare taxon which might be distributed also in the adjacent regions in Lower Austria, southern Slovakia and Hungary

Get PDFDie Larvalmerkmale der Gattung Megacephala Latreille werden beschrieben und ein Larvenbestimmungsschlüssel für 5 der 6 Untergattungen vorgelegt. Larven von Megacephala sind durch die Y-förmig Gularsutur (ein Merkmal aller Megacephalini) und das fehlende Doppelsklerit ventral am Prämentum charakterisiert. Nur die Untergattung Phaeoxantha besitzt einen gezähnelten Clypeus, den wahrscheinlich plesiomorphen Zustand dieses Merkmals im Verwandtschaftskreis. Die Untergattung Tetracha umfaßt mindestens zwei verschiedene Artengruppen, die sich durch ihre Chaetotaxie am Pronotum und Abdomen deutlich unterscheiden.A description of larval characters of the genus Megacephala Latreille and a larval key to five of the six subgenera are given. The most characteristic larval characters of Megacephala are the Y-shaped gular suture (known from all Megacephalini) and the lack of an oval double sclerite on the prementum. The anterior margin of the clypeus of the subgenus Phaeoxantha is serrated, which is probably the plesiomorphic character state. The subgenus Tetracha includes at least two distinct species groups, which are distinguished by the chaetotaxy of the pronotum and abdomen

Die Art juliae Satschkov wird als Synonym zu tauridella Petersen eingezogen, die Untergattung Pseudorumelis Satschkov als neues Synonym der Gattung Infurcitinea festgestellt. Für einige Arten werden Neufunde genannt und Korrekturen der Publikationsdaten vorgenommen. Eleven new species are described: Eudorylas blascoi, E. dilatatus, E. falcifer, E. mediterraneus, E. monegrensis, E. tumidus, E. wahisi, Tomosvaryella hildeae, T. hispanica, T. resurgens, and T. sepulta. An updated checklist for the Spanish pipunculid fauna is given and the phenology and zoogeographical affinities are shortly discussed.
