SAREKAT ISLAM (SI) GERAKAN PEMBARUAN POLITIK ISLAM
Get PDFAbstract. The birth of a politically oriented Sarekat Islam with the forerunner of business oriented Islamic Trade Sarekat was inseparable from the strong motivation to implement Islamic teachings in various aspects. Not only limited to worship rituals, but also need to be translated into the midst of other aspects, especially at that time the condition of the Indonesian people was under Dutch colonialism, so Islamic political movements were a mystery and focus. Using Islamic labels in organizations that allow positive responses everywhere to participate in this organization. In this paper the author wants to know what the Sarekat Islam has been doing in carrying out political relations and anything that contributes to the movement of Indonesian nationalism with Islam as a basic effort and whatever efforts are needed in upholding these noble ideals. Lahirnya Sarekat Islam yang berorientasi politik dengan cikal bakal dari Sarekat Dagang Islam yang berorientasi bisnis tampaknya tidak lepas dari motivasi kuat untuk mengimplemantasikan ajaran-ajaran Islam dalam berbagai aspeknya. Bukan saja terbatas pada ibadah ritual, tapi juga perlu dijabarkan ke tengah- tengah masyarakat aspek-aspek lain, lebih-lebih pada waktu itu kondisi bangsa Indonesia sedang berada di bawah tekanan kolonial Belanda, maka kehadiran gerakan politik Islam merupakan tuntutan dan keharusan. Menggunakan label Islam dalam organisasi politik ini mungkin dimaksudkan untuk menarik respons masyarakat muslim di mana saja untuk ikut serta berpartisipasi dalam organisasi ini. Dalam makalah ini penulis ingin membahas sejauh mana kiprah Sarekat Islam dalam melakukan pembaruan politik dan apa sumbangsinya terhadap gerakan nasionalisme Indonesia dengan Islam sebagai ajaran dasar serta kendala-kendala apa yang dihadapi dalam menegakkan cita-cita luhur ini. No full textABSTRACT Talking about the concept of morals, is something that can not be ignored just so much more to provide enlightenment for the students or educators in the field of moral education in particular. The figure of Ibn Miskawayh (his famous name) is one of the most important classical Muslim thinkers in the field of morals. He contributes greatly in drawing concrete formulations about the human soul or more precisely about the faculties of the human soul that help humans develop their moral potential. He examines morality very detailed, both on the theoretical and practical level, so that the concept is more of a rational ethic or ethical philosophy. Get PDFThis paper is a case study entitled “Fund Management System of mobile Infaq and alm boxesin Pasar 45Manado”. This research was conducted using observationsin the area of Pasar45 Manado.Data were collected through observations and interviewswith the carriers of infaq boxes, the dwellers in Pasar45Manado, and people in charge of the infaq boxes management, as well as documentation. The approach used is juridical and sociological. This research aims (1) to understand the fund management system of theinfaqand almboxesspread around Pasar45, and the management by which collectors collect all of theinfaqand almboxes. Once the collectors collected the donation, they gave them to the mosque’s management who would divide the fund into two parts:40 percent for the collectors and the restis allocated for the construction of mosques and others. This research also seeks (2) to describe how people view the fund management system ofinfaq and alms boxes collected around Pasar45Manado. This research shows that most people seem to disfavor these alms and infaq collection due to the unstructured fund management. We need to understand that the infaq and alms boxes run by collectors every Friday to ask for a donation is a noble deed when the funds is channeled and addressed to the appropriate places orpeople or those who are in need. This action would certainly benefit the Muslim community.The funds will help to reduce poverty in Manado as well as in other areas. Assessment in Islamic Higher Education
No full textAssessment is an important part of learning and teaching in educational institutions, including Islamic institutions. Therefore, assessment should guarantee that it can be used to improve learning and teaching. This article concludes that formative assessment is more useful and beneficial to Islamic higher education, because it will encourage more to learning than summative assessment will. However, this kind of assessment seems more difficult to be valid and reliable in grading. Creating rubric may become a solution to avoid such a problem

The data analysis utilized descriptive-narative including reducing the data, presenting the data, and making the conclusion. In qualitative research, the examining of the data quality is so-called validity task where the approach used triangulation and member check. The research designates that the Bank of Muamalat and the Bank of Syariah Bukopin implement syariah principle in their financing operational. The principle consists of profit-sharing principle and sale-purchase principle. One of the supporters of this school is Talcott Parsos, who introduced the theory of action which says that human action is influenced first by a cultural system consisting of values and rules that are adopted and the knowledge and customs they have. Schools as learning institutions instill values, shape human beings who have character and virtue through teaching. The character education program will succeed in school, if all personalities in the school can work together with parents of students, so that the educational goals expected by this nation can truly be felt, and can touch the positive values of the nation's children who are expected to be together. Get PDFThis paper is a hadith study on the concept of teachers' ethics according to Abu Isa al-Tirmidzi in his Sunan book. This concept is very relevant to the professionalism of the Islamic religious education teachers, as stated by the Law No.14 of 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers. In Islamic education, teachers have important meaning and roles, because not only that they have a responsibility, and determine the direction of education, they are also central in shaping individual Muslims to be in line with the educational goals of Islam. Therefore, Islam highly appreciates and respects the people who are knowledgeable and working as educators. Islam elevates and glorifies them more than other Muslims who have no knowledge and not educators. In order to obtain that award and honor, they, in the process of teaching, should observe good ethics. PENERAPAN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE UNTUK KEPUTUSAN PENDANAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN MULTINASIONAL DAN NON MULTINASIONAL
No full textAbstract The purpose of this research was to compare the implementation of the corporate governance. The comparison are between the companies which the controlling shareholders is a multinational company (group one) and non multinational company (group two), whether in the period before the economic crisis and the period during the economic crisis. Corporate governance is measured by perspective corporate financing decision (DER as a proxy). This research uses samples in a manufacturing company which listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The number of samples is 52 companies, which are divided into 30 companies as a group one and 22 companies in a group two. Observation period was 2006 to 2007 as the period before the crisis and 2008 as a period during the crisis. The result of this research indicated companies in group one had a lower DER than firms in group two in period of crisis. In other word group one has better implementation of corporate governance than group two

No full textAbstractThis paper discusses about the calculation analysis of general and sharia pawnshop in the context of gold pawn, with the aim of giving an understanding about the differences of the calculation in both. Both pawnshops bring the concept that the pawn is a system of lending and borrowing between the parties having lack of fund to those having abundant of fund by pledging valuables thing to convince the lender. The study shows that general and sharia pawnshops are equally using Metal Estimated Standard, and have four different components of the calculation: an estimate, money lending, administrative cost, and interest expense, but the distinction in the sharia pawnshop is the interest to be replaced by surrogate (ijaroh) The difference between the interest with ijaroh -if it is seen based on a scale of days- the general pawnshop is generally more affordable because the provisions of interest expense in it, is generally calculated based on the cycles per 15 days and interest calculation is done twice a month, whereas in sharia pawnshops, the ijaroh calculation is done three times a month or calculated / 10 days. But if it is seen from the profit scale of the total amount between interest and ijaroh, the sharia pawnshop is cheaper than the general pawnshop. It is seen from thecalculation result in the same case by using of a period of 120 days, so the general pawnshop shows the value of installment inRp. 450 800, while the sharia pawnshop shows the value of installment inRp. 450,000, -.Key words: Calculation, general pawnshop, sharia pawnshop. um, gadai syaria
