Analisis Efisiensi Kinerja Bank Syariah Menggunakan Data Envelopment Analysis dan Sharia Maqashid Index
Get PDFThis study aims to measure the efficiency of the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain using the Data Envelopment approach Analysis (DEA) and Sharia Maqashid Index (SMI).This study uses a combination research method. In the first stage, quantitative research is used to measure the efficiency of the performance of 4 Islamic banks from 6 countries in 2018-2020 with the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Sharia Maqashid Index (SMI) approaches. In the second stage, qualitative methods are used to compare the results of performance measurement along with the appropriate approach to measure the performance of Islamic banks. The results of this study indicate that in the DEA approach, only 2 Islamic banks consistently have perfect efficiency scores (1 or 100%) namely BRI Syariah (Indonesia) and Kuwait House Finance (Bahrain). As for SMI, the 3 Islamic banks with the highest scores were Bank Muamalat Indonesia (39,020), Al Bilad Bank (36,938) and Alinma Bank (35,335) Saudi Arabia. Performance measurement using these two approaches is very well used to assess the performance of Islamic banks from the aspect of profitability and Sharia Maqashid
Analysis of School Climate in the Unesa School Lab
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the school climate in the Unesa Lab School environment. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. This research took place in nine schools, including two kindergartens, two elementary schools, three junior high schools, one high school, and one vocational school. The study results show that the overall school climate in the Unesa Lab environment is excellent, evidenced by the average gain of 4.19. However, suppose one looks at them one by one. In that case, two schools are in the excellent category: Unesa Lab School Kindergarten 1 and Unesa Lab School Elementary School 1. Of all the indicators that tend to get low scores compared to the others are (1) the happy atmosphere of the students is not maximized, and there are still doubts in doing the assignment; (2) there is secrecy in providing information, so mutual suspicion still appears; (3) the synergy between school principals and teachers, between teachers, and teachers and students in the teaching and learning process is not maximized; (4) the teaching and learning facilities provided are not by their purpose; and (5) the assistance given has not been maximized for any difficulties that arise as a result of assignments imposed on students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis iklim sekolah di lingkungan Unesa Lab School. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sembilan sekolah, meliputi dua TK, dua SD, tiga SMP, satu SMA, dan satu SMK. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan iklim sekolah di lingkungan Lab Unesa sangat baik karena rata-rata skor melebihi 4 (empat). Namun, misalkan seseorang melihat mereka satu per satu. Dalam hal tersebut terdapat dua sekolah yang masuk kategori sangat baik yaitu TK 1 Unesa Lab School dan SD Unesa Lab School 1. Dari keseluruhan indikator kecenderungan yang mendapatkan nilai rendah dibandingkan yang lainnya adalah (1) suasana gembira para siswa belum maksimal dan masih ada keraguan dalam mengerjakan tugas yang dibebankan dalam pembelajaran; (2) ada ketertutupan dalam memberikan informasi, sehingga rasa saling curiga masih tampak; (3) belum terjalin sinergi yang harmonis secara maksimal antara kepala sekolah dengan guru, guru dengan guru, serta guru dengan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar; (4) sarana belajar mengajar yang belum sesuai dengan keperuntukannya; dan (5) belum maksimalnya bantuan yang diberikan terhadap setiap kesulitan yang timbul akibat tugas yang dibebankan kepada siswa
Implementation of Guidance and Counseling in Preventing Bullying: The Role of Teachers in Junior High Schools
Get PDFThis research aims to describe bullying behavior and the function of guidance and counseling instructors in avoiding bullying in kids. The qualitative research descriptive technique was applied through observation, interviews, and recording. Guidance and counseling instructors, bullying behavior students, and bullying victim students from public junior high schools in Medan City were the topics of this study. This study's data analysis includes the data reduction step, data presentation, and findings. According to the findings of this study, verbal bullying happens in various educational settings, such as flinging foul words, spreading ugliness, providing nicknames, and blaming. The role of guidance and counseling teachers is to carry out guidance and counseling activities in schools to prevent bullying by providing individual counseling services, information services about bullying behavior, the impact of bullying behavior, and preventive, curative, and preservative actions. Following up on the findings of this study, the function of guidance and counseling instructors in avoiding bullying must be enhanced through programs aimed at employing guidance and counseling services in preventative activities

With the existence of Covid-19, this has affected the profits of sharia life insurance companies. Therefore, this study will discuss one of the factors that can affect company profits, namely the contribution of income. In this study, regression analysis was used using the classical assumption test, hypothesis testing, t (partial) test, correlation coefficient test, and coefficient of determination test. From the simulation results, it was obtained that the revenue contribution only explained an effect of 4.4%, this meant that there were other factors that affected company profits during the Covid-19 pandemic era

Reading Comprehension by using Assemblr for Young Learner in 6th Grade Students of SDIT AL Irsyad
No full textThis study aims to (1) analyze students' reading comprehension using Assemblr media; (2) find out whether this media can foster students' interest in reading. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative, the subject of this research is 17 students of the 6th grade students of SDIT Al Irsyad Banten. Data were obtained from tests, questionnaires, and interviews. In the learning process, Assemblr is used as a medium or tool for displaying teaching materials. This teaching material is in the form of a story entitled "The Lonely Lion". The reading comprehension activity lasts for 15 minutes. After that, students were given 5 questions related to the contents of the story to find out students understanding. The results showed that reading comprehension was quite good with an average score of 84, and the results of the questionnaire showed 64.7% of students found using Assemblr learning media more fun and growing their interest and motivation in reading. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that Assemblr can make learning activities interactive and fun with 3D and AR.
Facilitating EFL Students’ Learning Listening Subject through English Songs: The Audio-Lingual Method Perspectives
No full textListening skill is considered to be a challenging activity for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in the context of English language learning. The present article aims at discussing the utilization of English songs as one of the learning sources for learning listening skills for EFL learners from the perspective of the Audio-Lingual Method (ALM). A qualitative descriptive research design was applied to scrutinize how English songs benefit for EFL learners to facilitate their listening subject. The data were obtained from previous related research findings and documentation studies. Furthermore, it discusses the relationship between song and listening, song as media to facilitate listening skills, the reasons for why using the songs as the learning media, the implication of using the songs to improve listening skills, and the benefits of using English song as a learning media. Review literature shows that the utilization of English songs may improve students’ listening skills and pronunciation over time. The ALM may assist learners in systematically learning the language by playing audio files. Students can comprehend brief and easy sentences when music is played in the background. English songs may assist learners in improving their listening skills and can be used for a variety of learning objectives. From the perspective of the ALM, English songs allow students to better understand the language being taught because it needs a high level of concentration as purposed by the ALM teaching and learning characteristics. In conclusion, from the perspective of ALM, English songs may bring positive contribution to the development of EFL students’ listening skills for some reasons

Stocks with large capitalization are the target of investors for long-term investment, due to the company's amazing growth potential, in addition to dividend distribution and relatively low-risk exposure. In addition, a company with a high stock price is also one illustration of the value of the company which can attract investors to invest their capital. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of market capitalization and stock prices on stock returns. This type of research uses quantitative research with associative methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained with the partial test are market capitalization has a significant positive effect on stock returns, and stock prices have a significant positive effect on stock returns. While the simultaneous test shows that market capitalization and stock prices have a significant positive effect on stock returns
The Effect of Toilet Training To Introduce Sex Education In Early Childhood

Sexual violence in early childhood is currently becoming more and more common, making it sad for parents, educators, and education practitioners, because it will have an impact on the future of the child. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of toilet training learning to introduce sex education to early childhood in TK Pertiwi 26-13 Bogares Kidul. The research method in this research is quantitative. The population uses 30 children. The sample of this study was taken using a saturated sampling technique where the entire population was sampled. Data were collected using a checklist. The data were analyzed using the product-moment correlation test and then carried out a significance test. Through the product-moment correlation test, the value of r is 0.70. It can be stated that the relationship between toilet training and learning influences sex education. The value of the coefficient of determination obtained from the calculation results is r2 = 70%. This shows that the sex education variable contributes 70% to sex education in children, while 30% contributed to other factors such as the environment at home. From the calculation of the coefficient significance test, the value of count > ttable (1,759 > 1,697), it can be concluded that there is an influence between toilet training learning on sex education.

Kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini saat ini semakin marak terjadi hingga membuat miris bagi orang tua, pendidik, maupun praktisi pendidikan, sebab hal itu pasti akan berdampak pada masa depan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh Pembelajaran toilet traning untuk mengenalkan pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini di TK Pertiwi 26-13 Bogares Kidul. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini kuantitatif. Populasi menggunakan 30 anak. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan cheklist. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment kemudian dilakukan uji signifikansi. Melalui uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,70. Dapat dinyatakan bahwa hubungan antara pembelajaran toilet traning memberikan pengaruh terhadap pendidikan seks. Nilai koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan adalah r2 = 70%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa variabel pendidikan seks memberikan sumbangan sebesar 70% terhadap Pendidikan seksl pada anak , sedangkan 30% merupakan kontribusi dari faktor-faktor lain seperti lingkungan di rumah. Dari perhitungan uji signifikansi koefisien diperoleh nilai hitung > tabel (1,759 > 1,697), dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara pembelajaran toilet traning terhadap pendidikan seks.

Implementasi Metode Bagdadi bagi Peningkatan Kualitas Baca Al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Daarusshofwah

Indonesia is known as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The release of the World Population Review (WPR) in 2020 outlines that the total population of Indonesia is 273.500.000. Of this amount, the percentage of Muslims amounted to 87.2 percent or the equivalent of 229 million people. This number is certainly encouraging as well as being the main challenge in the ability to read Al-Quran. The chairman of the Indonesian Al-Quran Foundation, Komjen Pol Dr (HC) Syafruddin, as quoted from republika.co.id said that as many as 65 percent of the Indonesian population who are Muslims cannot read Al-Quran. This data refers to in-depth studies and research by Islamic youth organizations and Islamic youth leaders.
Several Islamic youth organizations and youth leaders conducted in-depth research on the ability to read the Al-Quran among Indonesian Muslims. As a result, it was found that only 35 percent or around 80 million Muslim population in Indonesia can read the Al-Quran. The rest, 65 percent or about 149 million Muslim population cannot read the Al-Quran.
Based on the facts above, the Baghdadi method as a method of reading Al-Quran is the answer. The method that was born in the era before the 1980s and then refined by the Central Leadership of Jam'iyyatul Qurra wal Huffadz Nahdlatul Ulama (PP-JQHNU) has been introduced and studied throughout Indonesia. Not much different from several other methods such as the Yanbu'a, Ummi, al-Barqi, Qiraati, Ottoman, Jibril, and Iqra' methods, this method focuses on improving the quality of reading the Al-Quran. Both the Baghdadi method and some of the methods of reading the Al-Quran mentioned above aim to make Muslims not only recognize letters but are able to read letters according to the makharijul huruf (the place where the letters come out) and the shifatul huruf (the characteristics of the Hijaiyyah letters). This study uses a qualitative approach with the object of study at the Daarus Sofwah Islamic Boarding School, Bogor which has implemented the Bagdadi method to improve the quality of reading the Al-Quran for students. It was found that the Bagdadi method was able to be a way for students to enjoy studying and reading the Al-Quran although there were some who found this method difficult. The teacher's role is very decisive in success of this method for increasing quality of reading Al-Quran.ABSTRAK
Indonesia dikenal sebagai negara dengan penduduk Islam terbanyak di dunia. Rilis dari World Population Review (WPR) tahun 2020 menguraikan bahwa jumlah penduduk Indonesia sebanyak 273.500.000 jiwa. Dari jumlah tersebut, presentase umat Islam berjumlah 87,2 persen atau setara 229 juta jiwa. Jumlah ini tentu menggembirakan sekaligus menjadi tantangan utamanya dalam kemampuan membaca Alquran. Ketua Yayasan Indonesia Mengaji, Komjen Pol Dr (HC) Syafruddin, yang dikutip dari republika.co.id menyampaikan, sebanyak 65 persen dari jumlah penduduk Indonesia yang beragama Islam tidak bisa membaca Alquran. Data ini mengacu pada kajian dan penelitian mendalam oleh organisasi pemuda Islam dan tokoh-tokoh pemuda Islam.
Beberapa organisasi pemuda Islam dan tokoh-tokoh pemuda melakukan penelitian yang mendalam tentang kemampuan membaca Alquran di kalangan umat Muslim Indonesia. Alhasil, ditemukan, hanya 35 persen atau sekitar 80 juta penduduk Muslim di Indonesia yang bisa membaca Alquran. Sisanya, 65 persen atau sekitar 149 juta penduduk Muslim tidak bisa membaca kitab sucinya.
Berdasarkan fakta di atas, metode Bagdadi sebagai salah satu metode membaca Alquran menjadi jawaban. Metode yang lahir di era sebelum 1980-an kemudian disempurnakan oleh Pimpinan Pusat Jam’iyyatul Qurra wal Huffadz Nahdlatul Ulama (PP-JQHNU) telah diperkenalkan dan dipelajari di seluruh Indonesia. Tak jauh berbeda dengan beberapa metode lainnya semisal metode Yanbu’a, Ummi, al-Barqi, Qiraati, Utsmani, Jibril, hingga Iqra’, metode ini terfokus untuk meningkatkan kualitas baca al-Quran. Baik metode Bagdadi maupun beberapa metode membaca al-Quran yang telah disebutkan di atas bertujuan agar umat Islam bukan saja mengenal huruf namun mampu membaca huruf sesuai dengan makharijul huruf (tempat keluarnya huruf) beserta shifatul huruf (sifat-sifat huruf). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan objek kajian di Pondok Pesantren Daarus Sofwah, Kabupaten Bogor yang telah mengimplementasikan metode Bagdadi untuk meningkatkan kualitas baca Alquran santri. Ditemukan bahwa metode Bagdadi mampu menjadi salah satu cara agar santri gemar mempelajari dan membaca Alquran meskipun ada beberapa yang merasa kesulitan terhadap metode ini. Peran guru sangat menentukan dalam keberhasilan metode ini agar kualitas membaca Alquran santri meningkat
