    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran menggunakan Construct 2 pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi untuk Kelas VIII SMP

    This study aims to develop a learning media by using construct 2 to the material of relations and functions. The type of research is research and development with the 4D model were define, design, development, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII F Junior High School 3 Bintan amounting to 32 people in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research data was collected by using a validation technique involving 2 expert validators, each material expert and media expert, also collected by a questionnaire responding from educators and students. The research instrument consisted of validation sheets and questionnaire sheets. The research data were analyzed by changing ordinal data into interval data with the rating scale technique. The percentage of acquisition is calculated to get the category of validity and practicality. The results of this study based on the validation of material experts obtained 88.23% are in very valid criteria and validation of media experts obtained 83.33% are in very valid criteria. The response by students obtained 88.84% are in very practical criteria and from educators obtained 91.67% are in very practical criteria

    Covid pandemic 19 has had a huge impact on education. Large-scale social restrictions make learning only possible at home. Teachers must have alternative means so that learning can be carried out so that learning objectives can be achieved properly. One of the learning media that can be used is learning media through the internet network (online). Online media that can be used include whatsapp, google classroom, zoom, etc. The purpose of this study is to see whether learning through online media can be carried out well in class XI of SMAN 1 Koto Balingka. This research is a descriptive study, literature study and survey method through the analysis of learning documents such as assignments and achievement of students carrying out the tasks given through whatsapp online media. The results of this study are through analysis it can be seen that learning conducted through online is less well implemented because of the internet network constraints where students live less well and burdened students with internet quotas and the still presence of students do not yet have the means for online learning

    Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa SMP melalui ELPSA Framework

    The mathematical communication ability of students is still low. One effort that can be done is to implement Experiences, Language, Pictures, Symbols, Application (ELPSA) framework. The pur pose of this research was to determine students' mathematical communication skills through the application of the ELPSA framework. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The sub jects were Year 8 students of one of Junior High School in Banda Aceh which consisted of 24 students. Data collection is done through stdeunts worksheet and mathematical communication tests. Data ana lysis was performed by calculating the score of students' mathematical communication in groups and individually using percentage techniques. The results of this research are the mathematical com munication abilities of students in groups during learning with the implementation of ELPSA framework producing high average score. Whereas students' mathematical communication skills after the implementation of the ELPSA framework showed 75% of students met the minimal criteria

    Teaching materials used by teachers in acid-base material have not been able to develop students' critical thinking skills. One solution that can be done to develop students' critical thinking skills is using acid-base module’s based on REACT  (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring). The aim of this research is to produce an acid base module based on REACT and reveal its validity and practicality. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D model. The module design has been assessed by seven  validators who are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) consisting of chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and chemistry teachers. While the practicality test was conducted by 3 chemistry teachers and 26 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Padang Panjang. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Cohen's kappa formula. The module design produces three main characteristics, namely: the module is designed in accordance with the prior knowledge of students; the module contains the REACT syntax component; and the module contains aspects of critical thinking skills developed by Ennis. The results of the content validity obtained value of the Content Validity Index (CVI) of 0.90 with a valid category and the results of the construct validity obtained kappa moment of 0.92 with a very high validity category. While the module practicality results according to the teacher and students obtained a kappa moment of 0.86 with a very high practicality category. The conclusion from this study is that the module developed is valid and practical

    Industrial Revolution 4.0. is a time when human life is very dependent on the information base. This forces everyone to be ready, and have global competitiveness. The trick is to be able to adapt to technological developments, be able to use it, and be able to sort out the appropriate functions of technology, so that their use is effective. All aspects of life are affected, including formal education in high school. Here, the teacher plays an important role. Carry out learning with the orientation towards proficient technology, and wisely use technology. However, the implementation of the learning certainly requires basic thinking, how much ability students have. There are no data that reveal the readiness of students in secondary schools to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0, including in SMA Negeri 8 Padang. Thus, we conducted this descriptive study. We used a questionnaire, JRZ-IR4.0, to collect data from 603 students. Then, the data is analyzed and concludes the students' readiness. The results showed that the level of student readiness was quite ready, with an average of 3.18 and 3.15 points. These results form the basis for considering the direction of the learning process

    Edupark is a park with a variety of rides and ecosystems that can be used as a learning tool. Ngarai Sianok, Bukittinggi is a national Geopark area that has a nature tourism vehicle and Minang Fantasy (MiFan) Padang Panjang Water Park is an artificial tourist game vehicle. In general, visitors to attractions only take advantage of the natural landscape or a vehicle to take photos, sports such as jogging, hiking, camping, family gathering or low impact outbound. Without them knowing it, there are many physics concepts in both natural and artificial games that can be used as learning resources by integrating into high school physics learning in the form of physics teaching materials or integrated in learning models. However, there are actually educa-tional values, especially the physical concepts contained in the game. The purpose of this study is to integrate Edupark Ngarai Sianok and MiFan Water Park because it remembers so many Physics concepts found in natural or artificial tourism.     To help realize UNP's vision towards a research-based university, awareness of Educators is needed to be active in providing innovation in classroom learning such as transforming conventional learning into research-based learning. This aim of this study was to analyze the implementation of research-based learning in Integrated Science courses Class VII in an effort to improve the ability to think critically and creatively. The study used the Quasi Experimental Research method with the design of the Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The study was conducted in two sample classes obtained from cluster random sampling techniques by providing research-based learning treatment to the experimental class and ordinary learning to the control class. The research data was pre-test and post-test instrument, student response questionnaire and observation sheet during the learning process.     Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran ARCSI dengan Pendekatan Saintifik Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa SMP

    This research is based on the emergence of the 2013 curriculum which expects a learnng process that can make students actively construct their knowledge. The effectiveness of ARCSI learning models with a scientific approach can be seen from student learning outcomes, through 1) Student Worksheets (LKPD), 2) Test of learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the learning model developed is effective when viewed from students' mathematics learning outcomes. The level of effectiveness of the ARCSI learning model with a scientific approach obtained the results of LKIPD grades VII1 SMP N 7 and class VII1 SMP N 1 Ampek Angkek is categorized as effective with a mean of 75.017. The level of effectiveness of ARCSI learning models with a scientific approach obtained from the value of test questions on cognitive learning outcomes is categorized as effective with a mean of 61.38. Based on the hypothesis test for mathematics learning outcomes data can be drawn conclusions, namely: 1) Mathematics learning outcomes of class VII1 students (experimental class) is better than the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII4 students (control class) SMP N 7 Bukittinggi city; 2) Mathematics learning outcomes of class VII1 students (experimental class) are better than mathematics learning outcomes of class VII2 students (control class) Ampek Angkek N 1 junior high school in Agam distric

    The statistics of physics education are compulsory course with a lot of material descriptions so the lectures must be assisted by the use of teaching materials. The lectures of statistics of  physics education  that took place in the July-December 2017 semester illustrates that: 1) teaching materials are less attractive to students, 2) the assignments given are quite clear and sufficient in accordance with the level of thinking of students, 3) materials delivered by the lecturer is in accordance with the targets in the syllabus with some material is still abstract, 4) the lecture have been pursued in accordance with the syllabus but the methods used have not varied and 5) students learn material of statistic of physics education only from the lecturer explanation so that only a few students can answer statistical problems quickly and correctly. This indicates that it is need provided teaching materials with a cooperative problem solving model. The author has tried to design teaching materials of statistic of physics education  with cooperative problem solving models with very valid criteria according to the assessment of six experts with educational qualifications of statistics and physics education. However, this teaching material has not been tested at normal conditions in the lectures so that the level of practicality has not been revealed. The aim of this study was to determine the practicality level of educational statistical teaching materials containing cooperative problem solving models according to users, namely lecturers and students who listed in the course. Type of research is research and devel-opment with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluation. This research is part of the Implementation stage where development products are implemented in real terms so that the level of practicality can be measured with indicators of ease of use, attractiveness and efficiency. Data collection used student response questionnaires and lecturer response questionnaires with a Likert scale. Data analysis used descriptive statistic analysis techniques. The results showed that teaching materials of physics education statistics  had very practical criteria (lecturers opinion) and practical (students opinion). The conclusion of this study is the  teaching materials of statistic of physics education  with cooperative problem solving model  has been practically used in lecture
