Analysis Of Profitability, Corporate Governance On Capital Structure Mediated By Cost Of Capital
This study examines the effect of profitability and corporate governance on capital structure in SMC Composite Index companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2022 period. Using 134 total data selected by purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression through the SPSS 20 program, the results showed that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board size, and ownership concentration had no effect on capital structure, while board size had a positive effect. The cost of capital also has a positive effect on capital structure, but it cannot mediate the effect of corporate governance on capital structure. Profitability is found to have a negative effect on capital structure. Therefore, companies are advised to consider optimal funding decisions in the planning, implementation, and supervision of corporate governance to maximize operations and investments.Keywords: capital structure, corporate governance, cost of capital, profitabilit
Analysis The Influence Of Human Development Index, Capital Expenditure, Provincial Minimum Wage And Economic Growth On Job Opportunities In West Java Province
The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of the Human Development Index, capital expenditure, provincial minimum wage and economic growth on job opportunities in West Java Province. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. This study uses panel data because the data consists of a combination of time series (2018-2022) and cross-section data, in 27 regencies in West Java Province. The analytical method used is region panel data, and the model chosen is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The result of this study shows that the Human Development Index has a positive and significant effect on job opportunities in West Java Province. Meanwhile, capital expenditure, provincial minimum wage and economic growth have no significant effect on job opportunities in West Java. However, simultaneously, the Human Development Index, capital expenditure, provincial minimum wage and economic growth have significant effects on job opportunities in West Java. The implementation of the following measures can be used to prioritize creating jobs in order to support infrastructure development, establish a minimum wage that is equitable for workers, and promote steady economic growth.Keywords: Labor, HDI, Capital Expenditure, Minimum Wage, Economic Growth
The Influence Of CSR, ROA, And Company Size On Palm Oil Stock Prices In Indonesia: A Causal Analysis (2019-2023)
Palm oil is one of the plantation commodities which plays an important role in Indonesia\u27s economic activities. This research analyzed the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and other variables on companies\u27 share prices in the oil palm plantation sub-sector. The research started in 2019 to 2023. This type of research was causal research, with the dependent variable being stock prices and 5 independent variables. The first three independent variables were CSR components: Economic CSR Disclosure, Environmental CSR Disclosure, and Social CSR Disclosure. Company Performance/Return on Assets (ROA) and Company Size (SIZE) were the following variables. The analysis tool in this research uses SEM-PLS. This is because the data are not normal. The research results show that only the Company Size (SIZE) variable negatively influences the share prices of palm oil companies listed on the IDX. Antecedent Of Consumer Preference On Eco – Friendly Packaging Of Food Seasoning
Current consumer knowledge on packaging have increased, consumers tend looking for eco – friendly packaging due to environmental issues, as well as a preference for recyclable of food packaging materials. This aim of this study is to provide broad information about consumers’ perception of Eco-friendly food seasoning packaging materials. Thus, this study investigates the awareness of Eco-Friendly packaging and to identify the factors which influence consumers to purchase eco-friendly packaging based on the traditional theory of planned behaviour. Findings from this study develop a conceptual model of consumer purchase intention on eco-friendly packaging. A Focus Group Discussion with house wife and small medium enterprises group segment of respondent was conducted. Findings from the study showed all respondents agreed with the conception of eco-friendly food seasoning packaging. The conceptual model developed of consumers’ purchase intention of eco-friendly packaging was influenced by packaging design, quality, price and consumer attitude on eco-friendly packaging.Keywords: Eco-Friendly Packaging, Consumer attitude, Purchase Intentio
Dominant Forms of Livelihood Adaptation and Key Constraints in Mantuil Village, Banjarmasin City
Livelihood analysis involves perceptions and complexities, as it encompasses a bottom-up approach and is context-dependent, focusing on individuals, households, communities, and social groups. Furthermore, livelihood adaptation is crucial to cope with various risks and shocks, which pose a greater threat for vulnerable residents living in a slum area. This analysis attempts to understand the forms of livelihood adaptation and constraints within the area. This understanding also contributes to a valuable discussion on livelihood and better interventions. The Garrett’s ranking is employed to identify and analyze these forms and constraints. The dominant adaptation forms involve job seeking, land and tools utilization, counting on family support, and increasing societal concern for others. The key constraints comprise limited job opportunities, inequality, damaged infrastructure, inappropriate social assistance, and uncertain natural disruption. Both adaptation forms and constraints are interconnected, and resolving constraints is needed to facilitate effective adaptation
The Influence Of Edupreneurship, Digital Literacy, And Personality On Entrepreneurial Interest In Vocational High School
Vocational High Schools (SMK) aim to educate students to work in certain fields, but not a few SMK graduates contribute to the unemployment rate in Indonesia. The best solution to reduce the high unemployment rate among SMK graduates is to instill an interest in entrepreneurship in students. This research is a quantitative study with a survey approach that aims to analyze the influence of edupreneurship, digital literacy, and personality on entrepreneurial interest of grade XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ajibarang. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The population in this study were grade XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ajibarang for the 2023/2024 academic year with a sample of 199 respondents determined using proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of research and data analysis show that first, there is a positive influence of edupreneurship on student entrepreneurship interest; second, there is a positive influence of digital literacy on student entrepreneurship interest; third, there is a positive influence of personality on student entrepreneurship interest.Keywords: Edupreneurship, Digital Literacy, Personality, Entrepreneurial Interes
Online Customer Review, Sales Promotion, And Price On Consumer Buying Interest On Marketplace (Shopee)
This study is a quantitativeresearch with the aim of analyzing the influence of online customer reviews, sales promotions, and prices on consumer buying interest on the Shopee online shopping application. The population in this study is Shopee online marketplace users and the sample of this study was taken by purposive sampling technique as many as 100 respondents were obtained using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection method with questionnaires. The analysis tool used to test the hypothesis used Tructural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study show that online customer reviews, sales promotions, and prices have a significant effect on buying interest on Marketplace (Shopee). The implications of this research are that Shopee should encourage customers to leave reviews after purchase, it is necessary to actively manage reviews by responding to negative reviews and addressing customer complaints. Setting competitive prices is very important to attract buying interest in highly competitive marketplaces such as Shopee. Sellers should monitor competitors\u27 prices and adjust their prices to stay competitive. Shopee can develop more advanced promotional features, such as personalized digital coupons or integrated loyalty programs, to increase consumer buying interest.Keywords: Online Customer Review, Sales Promotion, Price, Buying Interest
Analysis Of The Influence Of Using Rice Farming Methods On The Welfare Of Farmer In The Panembangan Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency
The welfare of farmers in Indonesia is still uneven, followed by an increasing population that results in the shrinking of agricultural land. The mina rice farming method can help maximize agricultural land by generating two sources of income. This research aims to determine the impact of the rice farming method, land area, peasant groups, age, seeds, and labor on the welfare of farmers in Panembangan Village. The data used is primary data utilizing multiple linear regression. The sample in this study consists of 79 respondents who use both conventional rice farming methods and mina rice farming methods. The results of this study indicate that the use of the mina rice farming method, peasant groups, and the use of superior seed varieties have a higher level of welfare. Additionally, land area, age, and labor have a positive impact on farmers\u27 welfare. The implications that can be implemented include using the mina rice farming method, superior seed varieties, and participating in peasant group memberships to improve the welfare of farmers.Keywords: Farmers Welfare, Rice Farming Methode, Land Area, Peasant Group, Age, Seeds, Labou
The Role Of Menganti Beach Tourism Object In Improving The Economy Of The Community Of Karangduwur Village, Ayah District, Kebumen Regency
Tourism is a series of activities which are supported by monetary support facilities provided by the government, investors and the community independently. Menganti Beach is a leading destination in Kebumen Regency. Menganti Beach is also ranked in the third highest number of tourist visits in Central Java, which is still behind two other tourist attractions, namely the Kota Lama in Semarang and Borobudur Temple in Magelang. This high number of tourist visits of course also shows the high income generated from these tourism activities. However, on the other hand, the poverty rate in Kebumen Regency is still relatively high. This makes it an interesting question whether tourism activities can improve the community\u27s economy. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and descriptive design. The data used is primary data and secondary data obtained directly through a series of interviews, observations and documentation in the field. The analytical tool in this research uses welfare state theory which reveals that the government has an obligation to improve the welfare state theory.Keyword : tourism, economics, welfare
The Effect Of Corporate Social Responsibility, Gender Diversity, And Intellectual Capital On Financial Distress
This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility, Gender Diversity, Intellectual Capital on Financial Distress. The research sample amounted to 19 consumer cyclical companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2021-2023 which were selected using purposive sampling technique with a total of 57 observations. This study uses multiple regression data analysis techniques. The dependent variable in this study is financial distress, the independent variables are Corporate Social Responsibility, Gender Diversity, and Intellectual Capital. The results showed that Corporate Social Responsibility has a negative effect on Financial Distress. Meanwhile, Gender Diversity and Intellectual Capital have a positive effect on Financial Distress. This shows that the company should. This study shows that consumer cyclical companies need to increase CSR disclosure according to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines because high CSR disclosure can reduce the level of financial distress, increase community legitimacy, and attract shareholders to invest. In addition, the importance of paying attention to gender diversity in the board of directors is also raised, although gender diversity has not been proven effective in dealing with financial distress, it can improve management performance through inclusive recruitment and empowerment of board members. Finally, this study emphasizes the need for effective intellectual capital management to avoid increasing production costs and debt, which can trigger financial distress.Keywords: Corporate Social Responbility, Gender Diversity, Intellectual Capital, Financial Distres
