The current status of local cable televisions and community channels : a case study in Saiki, Oita
No full textapplication/pdfThe new Saiki City was born when nine municipalities were merged in March 2005. Saiki is a rare example as all the nine former municipalities had their own local cable televisions. Nowadays this industry, especially in the rural area, is facing with quite a few difficulties, for example the "extraregional rebroadcasting" issue. Local cable televisions need to enrich their community channel programs to survive. Nine cable televisions before the annexation were independent, making their own programs according to their different management policies. Now they are asked to be merged into one too, but the master plan for the integrated new television is often unacceptable for those who have so far worked enthusiastically for their service. Cable televisions have different functions as well as meanings, such as the local telecommunication infrastructure, broadcasting conventional television channels to communities with reception difficulty and the programs for local needs. It is obviously needed to integrate these televisions to save the running cost, but it is not appropriate to deal this issue without understanding those roles of these media. The waste-management in the field of recycling raw garbage as a strategy for structuring the resource recycling-based society in region: The trends and the problems in Japan
No full textapplication/pdfTo establish resource recycling-based society, some cities, towns and villages have started to try recycling kitchen waste from households. In this study, the authors examined 29 cases of local governments which recycle raw garbage and 16 cases of those that stopped. Districts leaved off recycling when they faced some internal and external problems at the circulative usage system. The major internal factors were failure of garbage separation, stink, low demands for outputs. Superannuated establishment and integrated abolishment with neighbor governments also affect as the external factors. Above all, separation of the raw wastes is regarded as important matter to maintain the recycling system. This study focuses on how they introduce and carry out the separate collection of kitchen garbage, taking up the process at the case of Ooki town, Fukuoka. 1789/90年におけるブルク劇場のオペラ公演とモーツアルト : 《 コシ・ファン・トゥッテ 》の成立をめぐって
No full textapplication/pdf本稿は、1789/90年におけるブルク劇場のオペラ公演とモーツァルトとのかかわりを主題とし、具体的には、このシーズンに再演された《フィガロの結婚》の成功が《コシ･ファン･トゥッテ》の作曲の呼び水となったとする従来の理解を、批判的に再検討する。その理解の問題点は、ウィーンにおけるモーツァルトの人気の凋落を基本的な前提として持つ一方で、ブルク劇場のオペラ公演の状況が視野に入っていないところにある。実際のところ、88/89年以降の公演は、新作の数が減り、その作曲をサリエリがほぼ独占していた。その背景には、オーストリアの対トルコ戦争の開始に伴うウィーン経済の悪化や、サリエリの宮廷楽長への就任が考えられる。その状況下、モーツァルトは、宮廷作曲家という身分からか、ブルク劇場のオペラ公演とのかかわりを保つことのできた数少ない作曲家の1人だった。また、特に89/90年のオペラ公演は、新作がとりわけ少なく、その代わりに再演を中心として日程が組まれた点に特徴がある。演目の多くは、前シーズンの後半にデビューしたソプラノ歌手フェッラレ-ゼが出演するダ･ボンテ台本のオペラであり、《フィガロの結婚》の再演も、まずはその一環として位置づけられる。一方,《コシ･ファン･トゥッテ》については、フェッラレ-ゼと、このシーズンにデビューしたヴィルヌーヴとの競演という趣向のもとで台本が書かれ、サリエリの作曲が挫折した後、シーズンの数少ない新作を完成させる必要から、彼に次ぐ立場にあったモーツァルトが引き継ぐかたちとなった、と推測される。本稿は、『大分大学教育福祉科学部研究紀要第30巻1号』（2008）に掲載された論文を査読により、本論集に採択されたものである。journal articl

The Taikyu Middle School : A "Naichijin" School in Colonial Korea
No full textapplication/pdfLocated in Taikyu (K. Taegu), the fourth largest city in colonial Korea following Keijo (K. Kyongsong: present-day Seoul), Heijo (K. Pyongyang), and Fuzan (K. Pusan) , Taikyu Middle School was established as the sixth middle school for naichijin (Japanese living in colonial territories) in colonial Korea. The Eightieth Regiment being placed in Taikyu, a middle school was opened in Taiden (K. Taejon) before Taikyu. Taikyu Middle School was closely related with the army from its birth, and its militaristic orientation was obvious in its education and student life. The following facts demonstrate this profile of Taikyu Middle School: 1) it was the first middle school to introduce military drill by officers in active service in 1924 (a practice which started in Japan proper in 1925, followed by other schools in colonial Korean in 1926) and remained as the model school for military drill; 2) with a large number of its student body transferring to military academies, the number of students who graduated after completing the five-year course was not large. Another characteristic of Taikyu Middle School was that its faculty was mostly graduates of Hiroshima Higher Normal School. After the liberation of Korea, Taikyu Middle School was reborn as Taegu Middle School, using the Chinese characters in the school name.
